I’m a man with a massive giant, possibly the biggest problem I’ve ever faced. Skullk has completely annihilated this world. It’s spreading through everything. It’s in the trees. It’s in the ground. It’s even in the sand. Look at this thing flopping around. This poor man got sculpted. Over the next 100 days, I’m going to figure out how to stop this stuff from spreading and get rid of it once and for all. It all started when we found this cave. We shouldn’t have gone in this cave. I’m telling you right now. Big huge. I can’t even begin to explain how much of a mistake going into this cave was. But hey, no, look. Here we are going in the cave. Climb climbing down a big shoot. Our actions in the Skullk tomb started a chain reaction that it would eventually spread to every part of the world. It had already infected the surface and it was spreading so fast. Everything was changing. The trees, the ground, Kim’s brain, all of it infected. But we needed to figure out what our next move was and figure it out fast because the skullk kept following us. Despite this, I was very curious about how the skullk worked. And so I wanted to take a closer look. Oh. Huh. Scouting at a possible raid location. 557. Where is that? What? What is that? We got to do scriptur. [Music] Okay. You know, when you watch back footage of yourself, you think, “What was he just put the burrito down? No need to be eating that right now.” Pretty sure Robert was borderline getting ready to quit. He was about to leave. Say, “You know what? You guys are on your own.” And if Robert had left, that would have been a disaster because this man was the only one of us who had dealt with the skullk before. He explained that seven nodes had spawned somewhere in the world, and we had to destroy all of them to wipe out the skullk. Each node would drop a chunk of its brain. Using the seven chunks of brain, we could craft a dormant heart. And with a dormant heart, we could use it to destroy the heart of the skullk, which was that giant mass that we saw in the tomb. In our current state, we didn’t stand a chance against even the first node. It would wipe us out before we got anywhere near it. What we needed was a proper base with a secure perimeter, a safe zone where we could craft armor, and build the tools that were going to be crucial to fight back the infestation. We need purifiers. We need to clear out skull ward blocks. And there was there was so much going on here. We were just four guys who between the four of us barely had like two brains, right? There’s also some kind of potion that could cure us if we got infect. There’s too much. What I was more focused on was snowballs and all the stuff he could do with snowballs, like throwing them at Kim’s head. You’re not wearing anything leather? No. No. No. No. No. Are you joking me? The next day, we decided to leave the area because the skullk was spreading so fast. We knew we couldn’t stay here, so we packed up our stuff and searched for a village all day or somewhere we could fortify. We eventually found a nice spot to build, but night was falling and we didn’t want anything weird to happen with the skullk, which honestly wasn’t that far away from us at this point, so uh we slept. Because we like this area so much, we decided to build here. We were going to build our own little house. And for whatever terrible reason, this was this I I don’t know why we did this. Tim and I put our houses right next to one another and I knew immediately this was this was not going to end well. Okay, if you guys got to like the video if I hit him. Apparently, beneath their hives, they would drop some kind of valuable resource that we need to take it down. So, naturally, we built more sleds and set off to investigate. I didn’t know what I was doing wrong. So, I went back to the village and grabbed Roberts to go back to help me with it. And little did I know that I was about to about to cause a little bit of chaos on the server. Yeah. So, it didn’t mature enough. Oh, I killed the bees too soon. Robert, what’s that flying in the sky? That’s one of the nodes we need to defeat this horde altogether. I found a cave that was full a mature threat. There it is. That’s what it is. So that grave mind, it’s going to follow us to the end of the earth. Huh? What do you mean? That’s cool. That’s cool. That’s cool. Okay. If I had just listened to Robert and not gone over to that phantom, I would not have been infected with the cyst thing and would not have been tempted to uh spread it to Kim and then Kim’s house would have not exploded and the infection would not have rapidly spread throughout the town that we were trying to build and then we would not be without a base right now. The the moral of the story is listen to Robert. But who am I kidding? Getting if you get an opportunity to infect Kim, you take it every single time. Turns out a skullk node had spawned right on top of what was supposed to be our little Christmas village. You know what? Thank thankfully skull the skull stopped this from becoming a Christmas video. That would have been bad. Christmas video in the doesn’t matter. When we just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse. Robert explained that we could reclaim the village but we need an infestation purifier. Getting real complicated now. It required three key ingredients. Gulk resin, calsite clumps, and something called pure souls. Apparently, the skullk is weak to amethyst, another word I can’t pronounce. Or at least that amethyst was one of the key components in crafting to stop the the stuff from spreading. There’s a lot of stuff in in this mod that I can’t pronounce. This is a truly difficult mod for me. But with it, we can make infestation ward blocks, and infestation ward blocks are are beautiful things. All right, you put one of those down, and the skullk cannot infect it. It can’t it can’t pass over it. So ideally, we’d put a big perimeter of them around our village, which hopefully will not be a Christmas village, and the skullk would not be able to enter our village and would give us essentially a safe bubble. It would be perfect. To make these though, we need to venture deep into a cave system to gather materials. But before any of that, we needed to gear up. So, we spent the day doing the most essential task of all, collecting meat. We agreed to split up in pairs and go mining and find supplies. Robert and Shadow, me and Kim. Uh, there was no amethyst. We were hoping it was going to be in here, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. But we continued to collect as much iron as we could. At this point, we figured we should head back up and link up with Robert and Shadow to find amethyst. But we ended up just sitting here smelting a lot of iron and uh and hey, look at that. I had full iron armor. In the morning, Robert and Shadow told us to follow them to an amethyst cave they had found. The cave had a ton of amethyst. I I I do not know why that word is in the script as much as it is. I I knew full well I can’t pronounce that word. I was just slapping it through here. Anyways, despite it being here and it looking like it’s all good and dandy, you can’t mine this stuff like normal. If you mine it, you don’t get what you need. Apparently, it needs to grow on the rocks or something like that. I don’t know. Robert was the amethyst guys. I got to stop saying it. Robert was the brain. All right. He told us that we need to make a crusher using the create mod, which would uh then take it would take whatever we get from here into the shards. Need to process the stuff. After we harvested all the blocks, I’m avoiding saying the word again. We grabbed some andesite, which we were going to need to make the machines that we had used to process these uh crystal things. And then on our way back, we wanted to see what was going on with our old village. So, we took a peek. Oh my god, Kim, your house. It’s everywhere. Oh no. Is this shadows sign? So, we needed copper, zinc, and a mixer, and a whole bunch of other stuff that we that I’m just not going to explain to you. All right, this this was Robert. Robert was the brain. I showed him the crystal shards and he told me that he had been uh been getting some power source up. I don’t know doing brain stuff. We decided we’d use water to uh power the crusher. Things were going well, but uh now we needed to capture a blaze for the blaze burner. So, I built a Nether portal. I was really really worried about the skullk coming through it because uh can you imagine the skullk in the Nether? And and if and if the skullk spread all the way over here, we’d risk losing all the machines that we just worked so hard to get up and running. We needed skullk purifiers right now before it was too late. So, while Robert got the machine set up, I went out and got us some meat cuz we kept uh kept running out of food. Just boy, so hard to feed four men. I guess three men now cuz who knows where Shadow was. But running out of food constantly. So, I got us some food and came back and went to bed. Now that we were safe and mostly fed, we could help Robert finish building the machines. He needed sugar cane to make sandpaper to polish some of the quartz. So, we got the sugarcane, made the paper, started making the big mechanical crafter. Uh, and that was all going well. But then Kim saw something outside. something very very bad. Oh my god. But the other way that we were going to fight back was with purifiers. The purifier kills the skullk and pushes it back. That was the next thing we needed to make. We needed even more calsite clumps and skullk resin. Those were the key ingredients for ward blocks and infestation purifiers. If we could get enough, we could push it back and finally build a base that the skullk couldn’t infect. But getting that meant sneaking into the deepest part of skullk territory. And if anyone tripped a sensor, we probably wouldn’t come back up. We have to be very, very careful. Very careful, Kim. Kim usually gets something into him right here. That is a big lie. What? And if if you remember correctly, we need those brain chunks badly. We needed those things more than anything else. As nice as it would have been to charge in and take this thing on right now, we weren’t ready. So, we kept gathering what we could and tried not to die. Turns out that we had enough to make an essence of purity, which is a a beautiful, beautiful thing that the brain Robert could tell you all about. me, the no-brain guy, or sorry, Megarain me. The the potions specifically was a big deal because if we with the potions that we could craft, we could splash them on ourselves and cure ourselves of the infectious cysts. The infectious cysts were causing havoc on us because if one person got infected, knowing us, we’d spread it to all of us. We weren’t able to stay apart. Again, no brain going on here. So if we got these potions, we could stop the spread between ourselves. This was huge, but it meant that we were going to need golden apples. So we chopped trees like our lives depended on it because uh you know kind of did. We got back to the base and finally had what we needed to make purification flask. But to make the skullk infestation purifier, we needed one more thing, crying obsidian. We thought we saw some on ruin nether portal. And uh turns out no, we did not see that on a ruined nether portal. I don’t know what we saw, but it was not that. Uh, but we did remember seeing some in the Skullk tomb, the place that uh, yeah, it wasn’t didn’t really know how well it would go if we went back there to get it. But yeah, you know, as I keep saying, the brain, not a lot of brain going on here. So, we here we are sitting around thinking about how we’re going to break back into the Skullk tomb to get crying obsidian. We spent the day preparing. There was no way that we’re going to charge into the tomb without being fully prepared. This time, each of us made 10 purification flasks, and we began the long, dangerous journey back to the tomb. And I couldn’t help but think about how how good this was going to go for us. How this was going to be a flawless trip into the most dangerous part of the of the whole world. The crying of city is a key component cuz if you put it down, the skull when it starts spreading can actually spread into it and infect it. So, we let the skullk spread into the block and it converted it. We cooked food and well, it transformed and boom, we got a crying soul. We got back, we built the purifier and tested it. That was going to be I was going to be a bit difficult because we’re going to need to find an ancient city. And uh to get the heart of the sea, we’re going to need a treasure map. I don’t know what we’re going to do here. After we enchanted more of our gear, we packed up our things and started looking for one. We only had 20 days left at this point, and we needed to destroy the rest of the nodes. Apparently, you can make this eye of ender type thing, which helps you locate where they are. To make it, you need blaze rods. So, Shadow and Kim went to the Nether to get some while I stayed at our village. And I was supposed to fight off enemies and keep building her house, but honestly, I just I did nothing. I did absolutely nothing for the next four days. I sat around. I I ate chips. I looked at various snowballs that I could make. Um I I just This is This was not my finest. I did nothing to help right here. Hey, you remember just remember when I found out crying obsidian like 30 days ago? That was good. That I don’t know what I was doing here. Shadow and Kim finally made it back from the Nether. Uh, and we made the Eyes of Ender. I don’t know if it’s an Eye of Ender. I don’t I got that written in the script. It was something else. It was like this this Shulk thing. We threw it up in the air and we followed it until we found the next note. We almost died here as per usual when we were fighting the Skullk going down, getting each other up, and just fast forward here. Anyways, but look at this. We destroyed it. That was the first of the four down. Just three more to go. Okay, moving right on to the next node. But, uh, there was a problem. While everyone else was focused on our shared goal of beating the skullk, I was focused on uh research and development, different types of snowballs that I could uh make to throw at Kim. And uh this well this nearly derailed our entire operation. I have lur on me. Oh, really? Oh, so uh here here. Ow. Why did I get no? You kidding me? You can’t be throwing stuff at me. That’s why. Oh, I do see it. It’s dead on straight straight ahead. Yeah. Why am I nauseous? Uh-oh. Oh, I’m nauseous, too. What did you do to What did you do to it? I didn’t do anything. Can’t we just go in and seal ourselves in there like last time? Oh, then Kim, what are we doing? Why are we out here? I don’t know if I’m breaking this or not, but I killing him. I’ve been trying to mine this forever now and I just keep getting sick so I have to keep stopping. Can you stop giving me nausea? I’m at it. I’ve been sitting here forever. Just everyone keeps doing nonsense. Get out of my face. That’s Kim hit me. It’s because you make me nausea all of the time. I got to heal. I’m out of food now. I’m I’m hitting with a pickaxe. the not needed efficiency. Okay. Hey, we have five now. We need two more. Two more. Let’s get out of here. We moved on to the next node and used it in the same the same strategy. Robert went in and sealed himself off while the rest of us killed the skull outside. With the six nodes we had now, it was enough to make a dormant heart, but we still needed one more for the soul harvester that we’re going to use to activate them. While we were looking for the final node, we also started looking for a ruined Nether portal in hopes that we could get more crying obsidian and a shipwreck where we could hopefully find the treasure map that would lead us to the heart of the sea that we still needed. We kept following the eyes of Ender and it was taking us further and further and we eventually started to worry because um where has this taken us? Our fears came to fruition. The node was in the ancient city that nearly killed us. We had no choice but to climb down and find the final node. Oh, I’m in the ancient city. So am I. But a warden’s going to spawn in 1 second. All these sensors are going off. Oh, this is where we were. Yeah, we’re on the node right now. Just go look for some good stuff out of the chests. Okay, that’s what I’m doing right now. But Kim’s scared. I’m scared. I tried that and it didn’t work out well. Uh-oh. Just keep them away from me, please. I’m hitting the I’m hitting the heart, so they’re going to be attacking. No, let it explode. with no food. It’s very difficult to do this sort of thing. I know, but I almost have it. We’re almost done. I’m going to die. I’m getting I’m shooting. Hey. All right, we’re done with nodes. With the final node destroyed, it meant that we could loot the rest of the ancient city without the shulk creatures spawning as much as they were before. But I made the mistake of assuming that meant that the warden would not spawn as well. Echo shard piercing. Just he just hit the warden twice. Oh. Oh, time to go. Just just just sneak around or or run. That helps, too. Run away from him. The warden. Oh, he coming. Oh no. John. Oh boy. He coming, Robin. Is he coming to me? Did he Does he come to you? He’s coming right up to me. He’s coming for me. Go after Robert. Go find Robert. Oh, Robert. What? Where? Where is everyone? I’m being hunted. Stop running around. I don’t know what else to do. Oh, the spitter is getting me. I can’t get up the waterfall. Look, I have a berry right here. Robert, I’m blinded and I have no food. I’m stressing out, guys. Where’s the water? Cam, you’re right at it. Come on, Cam. Please. I’m right here. Look, the speed’s going to get me again. Oh, he hit me. The one hit me. Come on, Kim. Come on. Oh, he’s going to shoot again. I’m out. Well, he made it out. And I I was actually surprised at how it didn’t go as poorly as it could have given that I spawned in multiple wardens. I tell you right now, if you ever you never want to go into an ancient city with me or Kim, right? And definitely not both. Two two of us down there. Not good. Surprised we made it out of this one. Dormant heart of the horde. This is what we need. So, we need a heart of the sea to finish that. We do have echo shards left over, right? Yeah, I got two when I was actually down there. I got one while I was down there. Good. Good. So, we need to put that dormant heart and a brain. That’s why we needed seven, not just six brains. We put the dormant heart in this soul harvester. It becomes an active heart. with that active heart. If you guys look apart one one more time, the heart of purity. We need I have three pure souls. We need one more. So that means one more uh crying soul. Crying obsidian. That’s so much work though. So listen, we only got 10 days to do all that. We need one crying obsidian, one heart of the sea, and then that that harvester. So we need to get a silk touch pickaxe and come back. Okay, that’s that’s where we’re at right now. We have 10 days to do that. On our way back, we found a village, which was perfect timing because I was very low on food. While I looted the village, Robert and Kim found a shipwreck and got the heart of the sea. But hey, look at this. Shul followed us straight to the village. Can’t get away from this stuff. Everywhere you go, it goes. It’s non-stop. So, we had to leave. Despite getting out of the ancient city alive and getting everything that we thought we needed, Robert had forgotten that he needed a pickaxe with silk touch on it to harvest the sulk. Uh he needed something to make the dormant heart. So while we were back at our village, Robert made the pickaxe. And I was uh once again looking up different snowballs that I could throw at Kim. And I actually figured something out that could be incredibly useful for us all. Kim, do you have any damage? If I if I’m doing damage to myself. No. Do you have damage on you? Yes. Okay. Oh, wait. I want to try something here. Ready? Oh, why am I picking up a disc? Did I heal you? Um Oh, you you’re actually trying something important. Yeah. Got to look at your sit still. Huh? Oh, it actually worked. It worked. I got like two hearts. I got two hearts from that. Hey, Robert, I got to show you a really cool trick. Can I see it? Oh my gosh, this lag is horrible. Watch this. game. Come here. Wait, what is it? Ready. Look. Yeah, I got I got a bunch of health right back. Am I blind? Where are you? It’s a good trick right there. I’m the healer. The following day, we all split up. Robert and Shadow went back to the ancient city, and Kim and I was avoiding doing this. I really didn’t want to do it, but it was our turn. We went to the Nether to trade gold with piglins to try to get crying obsidian. Robert needed it so that he could trade it or convert it so that he could get the crying shulk, whatever he needed. Robert the brain always eating something, you know. Um, so that was Kim and I’s job while Robert was doing basically everything we needed to uh beat the Shulk. Uh, I was throwing knives, javelins, snowballs, anything I could pick up at uh, both Kim and Shadow until we were interrupted by yet another visit from a Shulk Enderman. Skullk Enderman. I keep I I’m so off now with the word. Okay, here we go. No, no, no. Kim said he’s going to kill himself. He wants the sword. No, go. Oh. Oh. So rude. I’m going to hit him with Where is he going? Kim, hit him with one of your stinky snowballs. You have a plan. Where is he? He’s right here. Oh. Oh, he’s right here. Oh. Oh, Mickey. I keep missing him with the snowballs. There we go. Look at what I did to this thing. The snowballs annihilated. I got hit by like a thousand snowballs. The snowballs were every See, this whole time everyone’s getting mad at me for making snowballs, saying, “Why are you wasting time making snowballs? Why are you playing with snowballs? Why you putting rocks in snowballs? Why are you throwing snowballs at Kim?” But I the whole time I was training for this exact moment, like I obliterated that Enderman. After Robert had apparently spent like two days trying to find a skullk creeper, a bunch of them just started flooding into our village. So he was able to convert the crying obsidian. However, because so many did flood into our village, uh it kind of made it so that our whole village was now destroyed. But you know what? doesn’t matter cuz at this point we basically had everything we needed to take on this skull once and for all. So we took one last long look at our village and said you know what can’t say it’s been good especially cuz we started becoming a Christmas village in this video. So we set our goodbyes and set out to find a cave to harvest the souls. We purified the dormant heart with the harvester and made the last thing we needed. At this point, the skullk had fully infected my brain and I started acting erratically. John, would you do the honors? Yeah, sure. Give it to me. Take four of these. Four of these. All that. All right. Make that heart of purity. So, I combine them and then we’re done. Create the heart of purity. No. Then we have to go back to the tomb now. Do you have it? Heart of purity, Sean. Uh oh. Toot boys. No, don’t say Tuttleoo, boys. Get back here. You You want the thing? Don’t John, don’t. I think I think the Shul Stulk should win. No, no, no, no, no. You might instant death in water. You crazy. You’re You’re acting crazy right now. All right, I’ll craft it. All right. I I I do need to explain to you how hard it is for me not to go evil right now. I know how we I know. I know.
