Can I Beat Terraria with ONLY Zenith BOW Components?

Everyone has heard of the Zenith. It is the strongest weapon in Terraria, dealing out absurd damage. So, how come the melee class is the only one that gets this postgame powerhouse while the other three classes are left in the dust? Well, turns out there is a mod called more Zenith items that adds multiple new Zenith weapons, including what we will be ultimately crafting today, the Zenith bow. And the challenge is that I can only use the ingredients of the Zenith bow throughout my playthrough. some vanilla bows and some awesome modded ones. And of course, this is all done on master mode. Now, normally the Zenith is crafted with the copper shortsord, which is what you start with. But for the Zenith bow, I have to actually cut down a whole tree to make our first component, the wooden bow. So, now I’ve acquired the first component, but I actually can’t even use it because I don’t have any arrows. I checked on each side of my world to see if I could explore anything or if there was a cave, and there was not. So, I started tunneling downwards, making torches from the gel that I got from the guide killing slimes with his own wooden bow. And after a bit of digging, I get to stone. So, now I can actually make some wooden arrows. And with 1500 wooden arrows, I’m able to kill a red slime. Now, one of the issues with this challenge is that none of the really early game ore bows are actually a component. So, I can’t make a platinum bow or anything below that, like an iron bow. So, really, all I’m making is pickaxes and hoping for armor. I continue to mine down, getting some life crystals, getting a bunch more platinum ore, and in this glowing mushroom biome is a vein of demonite. Now, luckily, I can use a bomb to break this, but it’s not quite enough for what I want. So, I continue to mine around, die a few times cuz my weapon is a puny insignificant weapon. Feels like a peashooter. Hey, so pickaxe. So with another demonite vein, I can actually mine it. And the reason I’m grabbing demon eye is because the demon bow is used in a crafting recipe within the zenith bow called the knight’s recurve, which is essentially the knight’s edge, but the bow version. And now I do have enough demonite to make the demon bow. A huge upgrade in our arsenal. It shoots much faster and does 14 damage. I then actually found a pyramid in the desert. Flying carpet. I’ll take that. You know what’s funny? I then found an enchanted sword. Would be helpful on a Zenith components only playthrough. Not helpful for a Zenith bow components only play through. In the search for some form of Hermes boots, I find many treasures such as a blizzard and a bottle and an ice mirror and even ice skates. So, I now have a full 400 health. And the only real thing I’m missing is some dang Hermes boots. And then the eye of Cthulhu decides to jump me. I wasn’t really able to build a big platform for this. I don’t have featherfall, which I’d normally use, and I don’t have Hermes boots. The eye is really not much of a hassle right now. I’m taking very little damage. The demon bow is serving out quite a bit of damage. It’s quite consistent. Really good damage with flaming arrows. At one point, once it’s in second phase, I decided to just grapple to the platform and tank some hits cuz I can. When you have a full set of platinum armor and some defensive accessories, like you’re good. But I quickly jumped off that cuz it was boring and I probably would have ended up dying. I utilize my flying carpet to maintain that horizontal speed which makes you pretty much untouchable by the eye even without Hermes boots. And in no time, the eye of Cthulhu has easily been destroyed. But I’m not even going to use the shield of Cthulhu. I didn’t really get anything from that. I head back into the snow biome and I finally find it. Flurry Boots. I don’t feel like a freaking snail when I walk anymore. And now I decide to clear out some area in the underground corruption and spawn in the Eater of Worlds. Beating this boss opens up a lot. So, I just kind of want to rush it. I don’t know if I have enough space, but we’re going to try. We’re using jester arrows with our demon bow, which should easily tear through this boss. And yeah, it does. It does a lot of damage. Holy crap, it’s mincing him like beef in a meat grinder. When I get a good arrow going along, it does insane damage. I’m not taking much damage myself, and some of these shots are just so satisfying, destroying so many segments. This is really where the bow and jester arrows excel. It’s just beautiful. And there it is, the Eater of Worlds defeated. So now with a nightmare pickaxe obtained, I head straight into hell. Now I’m able to dig up some hell stone and grab a hell forge so I can make the molten fury, which is another ingredient of the night’s recurve. Although I did get a sluggish reforge on it. So I made a few more and they weren’t great. So now is a perfect time to find the shimmer, which I find very easily. Again, it’s so easy to find this thing. And I do some shimmer forging so that I can get the right reforges that I want. It’s pretty timeconuming, but it’s worth it considering I don’t have a goblin tinker. And even if I did, I wouldn’t want to give him my hard-earned money. And speaking of which, during home renovations, the goblin army arrives. Now, not only did hellstone unlock the molten fury for me, it also unlocked hellfire arrows, which do help clear out big hordes of enemies like this. It’s still quite tedious, as the goblin army always is, but for goblin armies, it was pretty easy, especially considering I didn’t die a single time. And then I searched far and wide for the goblin tinkerer. Before I could even find him, it started raining slime and the king slime decided to fight me. Now really, this was no problem. The king slime is so tiny on master mode as opposed to for the worthy. And the molten fury with the hellfire arrows just absolutely tore him to shreds. And right afterwards, I did find the goblin tinkerer bound underground. Thank you for the workshop, mister. I then searched the absolute deepest, darkest corners of the jungle trying to find an anklet of the wind and I just couldn’t find one. I want lightning boots, please. And there it is, finally. And up on my platform. Is that a gold worm? Okay, you know what? I don’t find those much. I’m going to turn that into a gummy worm. Increase my permanent fishing. Yes, please. I then extractated a bunch of desert fossil, which allowed me to make the fossil armor, which is the only early game ranger set. Is platinum better? Maybe it’s more defense. The range bonuses on the fossil arl arl arl arl arl arl arl arl arl arlama isn’t even that good. But I’m going all in on the ranger. After setting up an arena for skeleletron, I spawn him in. The molten fury, demon bow, and wooden bow are the only three bows that I can obtain right now. And the molten fury is definitely the best. So that is what I’m using. It is destroying Skeletron’s hands without any real issues. Master mode skeleton doesn’t really hurt much at all. So we’re doing just fine. I pop his hands like nothing. Both hands have been popped and now it’s just the head. And this is easy. I mean, the homing skulls are really not hard to dodge. And then when it’s spinning his fat skull, it’s nothing. I mean, I did a 360 there and then got hit twice. And I’m still at 300 health. I even did real time editing with zoomins and zoom outs. I didn’t even edit that. And there it is. Skeletron. Easy as cake, dude. But unluckily for me, one of the things Skeletron drops is a bow that is used for the Night’s Edge bow. But as it turns out, you can literally just craft the bow with two iron, water candle, bones, and a gold key. Now, what will this epic new modded bow do? Probably some awesome projectile, right? Uh, it shoots a limp water arrow that bounces. Well, that was a bit disappointing. It’s really not that good. Like, this bow has erectile dysfunction or something. Can’t even keep the arrows up. Now, I actually forgot to fight a boss, uh, the queen bee. Usually, I do fight the queen bee before Skeletron, but it completely went over my head. I got a little excited and fought Skeletron early. So, now we’re going to fight the Queen Bee. I tried using the cobber. Hank you hank you hank you. You’re welcome. But it just sucked. Like I’m sorry. The molten fury is so much better. It’s destroying the queen bee. Look at that damage. The koni. Thank you. Does no damage compared to this. So I don’t know. The balancing could have been done a bit better. But yeah, queen bee super easy. Basically full health when the queen bee goes down. What I’m searching for with the queen bee is the bee’s knees though because the bee’s knees is actually used in the zenith crafting tree. So, I have to fight her again and again and again and again and again and again and again. This is getting kind of absurd now. I’ve had to fight so many queen bees before I finally get the bee’s knees, a vanilla bow, and it’s quite good. Probably our best option right now. Now, I did kind of lie earlier. There was another bow I could have got before Skeletron, but also I couldn’t because I hadn’t gotten a single blood moon. So, I sleep and I sleep and I sleep through many days and nights. Someone checked for my heartbeat cuz I’ve been sleeping for days and not a single person has even checked up on me. Shows you how much you’re appreciated in a village, right? There was even a whole goblin army before a single blood moon appeared. And then it finally happens. A blood moon. I have to make this count. I quickly use a sonar potion and water walking potion. Pull up a wandering eye fish and it drops nothing. And then another one drops nothing. And then another nothing. And then another drops a vampire frog staff would normally be helpful since I’m much of a summoner, but not for this playthrough. And then another vampire frog staff. And you’ve got to be kidding me. That was a whole blood moon. I didn’t get a single bloody tier and I didn’t get the bow I needed. So now I got to sleep again and again. Oh, never mind. This one’s a blood moon again. Luckily, I do get a bloody tear this time. And finally, I do get the blood rainbow bow from a zombie merman. And though this weapon does kind of seem modded because it is easily forgettable and it’s almost too cool to be vanilla, it is real, but I’m not really going to even use it. The only reason I got it is so that I can combine it with my demon bow, molten fury, and Konu. Thank you to finally make the Knights recurve. Now, I haven’t actually played this mod before, so this was my first time using this bow and I expected big things. The Knight’s Edge is really freaking good, and it’s so cool. So, you know, naturally, the Knight’s Recurve should be pretty overpowered, and it should shoot a cool projectile. Uh, what what’s that? It shoot It It just shoots two arrows. Wow, what a freaking let down. It’s not even like that good. Like, it does 42 damage with an Unreal modifier. I’m almost more inclined to use the bee’s knees. But with that, we’ve gotten all the preh hard mode bows, and all that’s left is to create a hell bridge for the wall of flesh. Is this bridge a bit too big? Probably. I make a house for the guide as I didn’t get a guide voodoo doll. Turns out that some people don’t even know you can do this, but yes, you can drop the guide into lava physically instead of a voodoo doll. And it works for summoning the wall of flesh. And there’s the monstrosity, the wall of flesh. I’ve buffed up with all the buffs. Some of them are necessary, such as a spelunka potion. I’m not sure what that’s going to do for us, but we do have a life force potion, which we managed to get from a shadow chest. And yeah, the night’s recurve is doing decent. It’s killing the hungrys off pretty well, and the damage to the wall is respectable. Would I be doing more damage with the bee’s knees? Maybe. I think I’d at least be doing pretty similar damage. While the flesh gets to under half health, it’s speeding up, but I’m really not too worried. The knight’s recurve is dishing out enough damage. It’s doing like maybe over 100 damage per shot, which is pretty decent. It does a 14,000 health and hungries, but you know, relatively speaking, it’s pretty good. And now we’re in hard mode. Now, the blaring question is, what is the first bow that we can use in hard mode? Well, my first cause of action is actually since it’s raining to kill some ice golem. This gives me an ice feather and a frost core, but it stopped raining before I could get any more. So, I smash some altters and start mining some hard mode ores. And I actually use that one frost core to my advantage by creating a frost chest plate using a hallowed ranger helmet and mithril leggings. And all three of these combined actually give really good damage output. So now what I wanted to do was create a mob farm. Yes, I’ve turned to the dark side. I actually make these now. I measured out all the right dimensions and set it up so that I could get lots of souls of light. And with a bunch of souls of light, I make a key of light. Spawn in a hallowed mimic. And this thing is really not too hard on the surface as long as I’m careful with it. It does deflect my arrows. And I wasn’t too careful with it. I really almost died, but I did nurse heal. All around a pretty scary foe. But I am incredibly lucky and I get the datalless storm bow on my first drop. This is yet another vanilla zenith bow component. Raining arrows down from the heavens. Something I thought was cool was using shimmered arrows with the dataless storm bow. If the arrows have the chance, they’ll actually turn around and come back up, allowing for more opportunities for an arrow to hit an enemy. I think it’s really cool. I then killed the wyven a couple times and made some frozen wings. Something that the mod actually adds is endless quivers of any arrow type. So, I decided to make endless quiver of unholy arrows. I tried making my mob arena corruption, but it just wouldn’t stop being hallowed, which was really annoying. So, I had to make a whole another new mob grinder, and then I could get the souls of night I needed. And I fought a corrupt mimic and made the putrid scent. 5% damage and crit chance isn’t too bad of an accessory. Combined with a magic quiver and my ranger emblem, we should be doing some good damage. And the first mechanical boss I decided to test my luck at is the destroyer. I’m hoping that my datalless storm bow and the unholy arrows will do some good damage to the destroyer segments and I won’t have to do too much to beat this boss. Now, the downside is these probes are kind of annoying and sometimes hard to hit, but they’re not too hard to handle. And the storm bow is definitely doing some big damage to the destroyer. When is coiled up, we’re doing upwards of 5,000 damage per second, which is utterly insane. He went from like half health to like a quarter very quickly. I just need to make sure I don’t choke this at the end. We’re looking pretty good. Don’t get hit by the head. And down goes the destroyer. And we have so much time left in the night. I decided to take on freaking Skeletron Prime. Luckily, our master mode, his bombs don’t destroy platforms. Very nice. And this boss fight is pretty dang easy. I just keep my distance, aim the dayless storm bow in his direction. Some of the arrows hit, some don’t. The damage isn’t crazy, but it’s pretty consistent damage, and it can be done at a range as the class suggests. Ranger. I’m not really worrying about the hands too much. They’re just collateral. If they get destroyed, then that’s good. But I’m just going for the head. And if the hands get hit in the way, then so be it. Now, the lasers do decent damage to me. But I’m not getting hit by him much, especially thanks to the cross necklace accessory. Really minimizing how much I’m getting hit. And after a while, I actually destroy one of his hands and quickly after his skull, leaving only remnants of metal on the floor. So there we go. Two mech bosses in one night. And what I can do with the hallowed bars is actually make the hallowed repeater. This is because the hallowed repeater is like the equivalent of the Excalibur in the bow equivalent of the terror blades crafting tree. So therefore, the hallowed repeater is actually a weapon that we can use. With the hallowed repeater, I decide to take on the old one’s army. You might be thinking, why the heck am I taking on the old one’s army at this stage? There’s actually a postmech bow that drops from it. But actually using the bows that I have, such as the hallowed repeater, to fight the old one’s army, was proving to be difficult. Even with a ho glitch, the flying enemies were bombarding my crystal. I ended up making an endless quiver of cursed arrows. And I created an artificial crimson biome to fish up some hemopirana for some extra damage output and spawned in the twins. Yeah, I’m just going to skip the old one’s army for now. We can do that later. Whatever. Now, the hallowed repeater is dishing out big damage. Spasmatism does hit me pretty hard, but I do get a heal off. The feather fall potion is helping quite a bit, but I’m taking some hits. I’m at half health and speism gets down into second phase. I’m just making sure I’m not getting hit by that spewing flame. I get hit by a zombie which combos me into them. It’s looking pretty bad. I’m down to under 100 health by getting hit by Spaz’s flames. And after all that, I’m under 50 health. And right before Spasmism dies, I die to a dash from him. Very unfortunate since that is actually my first death to any boss in this whole playthrough. But let’s try it again. Hopefully the enemies on the ground won’t troll me so hard this time. And then by some sheer stroke of wisdom, I decide to switch to the datalless stormbo. See if that does big damage. And holy crap, it is destroying spasmatism. The damage is insane compared to the hallowed repeater. Why was I even using that? It’s a bit harder when spasmatism is dashing at me to hit him consistently. But I mean, when it’s spewing, I can hit him consistently. So once he’s dashing at me, I actually decide to switch to the hallowed repeater. And just like that, Spasmatism is dead. And then I switch back to the datalless storm bow for the final twin retinaser. and it just destroys him. Like there’s nothing left. That was a freaking murder. That was a brutality. But with all three souls from the mech bosses, I am able to make the true knights recurve. Maybe this will be better than its ancestor. Okay, it’s nothing fancy. It does convert wood arrows to dark arrows, which is pretty cool. That’s not a vanilla arrow. It also shoots three arrows now instead of two. And I put it to action against the twins, and it’s decent. It’s doing like just shy of a,000 damage per second, which is kind of worse than the datalless storm bow, I’m going to be honest. So, yeah. Not really impressed. It’s okay. It’s decent. But now with the mech bosses defeated, I made a pickaxe axe, which allows me to dig up chlorophyll, I can craft the true hallowed repeater. What’s cool about this one is it actually shoots hallowed arrows, which just look like holy arrows to me, and it shoots them along with the arrows that I choose. Then the pirates invade, which I can use this true hallowed repeater against a horde of enemies and it I don’t know, it’s it’s not great. The true hallowed repeater is definitely better for crowd control than the true knight’s recurve. So they definitely both have their place after a long pirate invasion, killing multiple Dutchman. I then fight the old one’s army again, just hoping to receive that bow from the ogre. But dude, I just couldn’t freaking beat it. It’s insane. It’s insane. So I go rumaging through the jungle for life fruits. Maxing out my health. One of my favorite grinds in the whole world, finding these stupid fruit. And now it’s time for Planter. So, as I normally do, I made an Osagoff tunnel with sticky dynamite. I didn’t really bother with teleporters. It’s not legendary mode. We’ll be fine. I spawn her in, leading her straight to the tiny arena I made for her. I try out the true hallowed repeater on her. I did forget to reforge it, so we don’t even see it in its true potential. But anyway, I quickly turn to the true knight’s recurve as it really is my best option for solo targets. Once she’s in second phase, I head down the tunnel with my holy dodge from the hallowed armor I made. I dodge a tentacle hit. I’m shooting up my true hallowed repeater as it has piercing abilities which means it can go through the tentacles. Pretty consistent. And then once I have visuals of just planter without any tentacles. I switch over to the true knight’s recurve. Do some damage. Switch between the two bows. There is so much more tunnel space. And Planter has been defeated before I can even use it all. And straight into the temple I go. In here, I’m opening up these chests to find solar fragments. I spawn in a solar eclipse, hoping for a Mothron to spawn. And where is she? Why is she not spawning? Oh, there she is. Right at the end of the solar eclipse. I do just managed to kill her, and she drops Mothron wings and a broken hero to. What the sus? That’s not a broken hero sword. What we’re probably looking for is something like the broken hero bow. And after killing another Mothron, I don’t get that. I spawn in another solar eclipse, killing another Mothron and getting the Broken Hero whip. There’s a Zenith whip. Another Mothron down, I get the Broken Hero Sword and then another Eye of Cthulhu yo-yo. I then thought, what if I throw my broken hero sword into the shimmer? Will it turn into a broken hero bow? Turns out no, it won’t do that. It does nothing. But then I threw the Broken Hero tome into the shimmer and that turned into a broken hero sword. And then I gave the broken hero sword to the guide and turns out that I can turn any broken hero sword into any of the broken hero weapon including the broken hero bow. So that’s exactly what I did. But now with the broken hero bow and the true knight’s recurve and the true hallowed repeater, I can make terror vengeance. Essentially the terror blade but the bow version. I spent a million dollars getting it to unreal and I tested it out and oh my gosh, it shoots a lot of arrows. It does 170 damage, unreal, and it shoots really fast. It doesn’t really do a cool projectile like I expected, but yeah, that seems pretty powerful. I made an endless quiver of venom arrows, which are the highest damage output arrows that we can get right now. What’s interesting though is if I use wooden arrows, it does convert the arrows into dark arrows, which do pierce. And if I line up a bunch of target dummies, it’s doing like 13,000 damage per second. And if I line up more dummies, it do more damage. And now I can actually fight the old ones army and killed the enemies consistently. The enemies were of basically no issue to me. I destroyed them, killed the ogre, and that was it. Now, did it drop the bow? No. So, I had to do it again and again, and there it is, the Phantom Phoenix, a vanilla bow. It’s pretty good. I’ve used it before. It shoots out this little Phoenix like every three shots. I then headed back into the lizard temple, making my way through, preparing myself for the really difficult challenge ahead, and spawning in the Golem. He comes in swinging his hands around. He’s ready for a fight. And boy, I’ll give him a fight. I shoot my terror vengeance at him. Hold on one second. I forgot to drink an archery potion. Time out. Time out. Okay. Okay, we’re good. Continue. Oh, wait. He’s He’s dead. He’s dead. Oh, okay. That wasn’t too bad. I fight him again and this Terra Vengeance. Oh my gosh, look at this damage. His head detaches and he is just gone. Like, he’s just gone. The damage is unreal. This is when I realize that I’m not working with a normal weapon here. This thing is a behemoth. Like, I thought it’d be decent. No, this thing is busted. I then grabbed some dungeon bricks and created an artificial dungeon biome. Getting all the dungeon drops I need. I was actually using the datalless storm bow here so that I could hit the enemies from below. So, some bows other than the terra vengeance have some use. And I got the rifle scopes that I wanted. And now I wait till it’s night time to spawn in the pumpkin moon. What on earth could I want from the pumpkin moon? There’s no bow that drops from here. Oh, silly you. You may think that. That is not true. A morning wood spawns and I just absolutely go to town on the morning wood. The morning wood is no more after I’m done with it. Like seriously, this bow is utterly insane. It is just freaking tearing apart these enemies like they’re nothing. This is ridiculous. Not even whip stacking and summons do this much damage. A pumpkin spawns. I’m doing up to 5,000 damage per second to him. He’s gone in an instant. This is when I knew for sure that I am not working with a weapon of any normal caliber. Now, the pumpkin has multiple new drops, including a scythe, which makes the loot pull harder to get the bow that I want, and I’m just not really getting it. I’m not too mad because I can kill so many things. I’m already up to wave 20. And even after all that, after killing so many pumpkins, I didn’t even get the bow. But luckily for me, I did get a witch’s broom, which means I can go full damage build. That’s right. I can do more damage because that’s necessary. I then made a little house for the truffle and I made some shrewite armor. I slapped on some red riding leggings as well for optimal damage since I’m not utilizing stealth. And I spawn in the pumpkin moon once again. This time doing utterly busted amounts of damage. If before wasn’t busted, this sure is. From like 5,000 damage per second to like 8 to 9,000 damage per second. He even drops a freaking horseman’s shortsord. Where’s the horseman bow? And after many, many, many pumpkin kills, one of them drops the Autumn’s Reach. Would this weapon even be any good compared to the Terra Vengeance? I’m doubting it. If it’s better than the Terror of Vengeance, I’m going to be gobbmacked. Testing out the Autumn’s Reach. The damage is pretty decent. But yeah, it’s not as good. It does have a faster firing projectile, though. And now it’s time to fight the Empress of Light. Some would say the hardest boss fight in the game. Really difficult fight. I’m dodging and weaving, using the witch’s broom to maneuver around her. She’s already in second phase. Wait, she she’s dead. She’s dead. What do you mean she’s dead? 911. I just witnessed a murder. I don’t even know if the Zenith sword can kill the Empress that quickly. That is absolutely absurd. Spank my booty and call me a leprechaun. That’s insane. I fight her again, this time at daytime, cuz why the hell not? Oh, and shocker. Daytime empress a breeze. I didn’t see that one coming. CJ beat the daytime empress with one of the most busted weapons in existence. Let’s just do it again. Why not? Let’s Let’s beat the daytime empress again. Yeah, two terror prismas. Why not? This time it actually drops the Even Tide, which is a Zenith component. Now, we know what the vanilla even tide does. It’s good damage. It’s good typically, but is it even worth pulling out when I’m fighting Duke Fishron and he’s in second phase in a few seconds, third phase in a couple seconds, and then is dead after one shot. Like, I don’t know what to tell you guys. This is my challenge run, okay? Like, this is it. This is the challenge run. It just got so broken to the point where these bosses weren’t even a difficult fight. Like, it was not even fair. It could have been legendary mode and I’d be mincing these bosses like nothing. Like, what am I supposed to say here? What am I supposed to do? Not use the weapon? Of course, I’m going to use it. I got the fishron wings from Duke, which is nice, but it’s not the bow, so I have to fight him again and again. I used the Autumn’s Reach for a second against Duke Fishron, and it is just like so much worse than the Terror Vengeance. Like, it’s not even close. I actually ended up dying to Duke Fishron because I was using that weapon. And a witch’s broom is not really ideal for Duke Fishron. The only reason I was using a witch’s broom is because I could kill Duke Fishron so quickly. And after a long bit of grinding, just not getting my tsunami, I finally got it. I’m not going to use it. I spawn in the old one’s army cuz why not? I don’t know. I breeze through the waves like they’re nothing. Betsy comes along and Betsy is torn to shreds by my terror vengeance. The only thing keeping her alive was how quick she was moving. But as soon as she stood still, I mean, good night. And what’s funny is I got the Betsy’s wings and the aerial bane. Now, the aerial bane actually isn’t used in the Zenith Bose crafting tree. So kind of useless, but the Betty’s wings are actually favorable against the Duke Fishron wings for me. So now with the tsunami, Autumn’s Reach, Terra, Vengeance, Even Tide, Datalus Stormbbo, I have acquired all of the hard mode bows that I can get right now. All that’s left to do is kill the Lunatic Devotees, and summon in the Lunatic Cultist. And oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. That’s all I can say. That’s all it It’s already over. Like it it’s already over. The fight’s already done. I I can’t even. It’s so freaking busted. So, I then went over to the solar pillar and I was actually struggling against this and this was for many reasons, but the biggest contender were the enemies that were deflecting my arrows back into me and that was doing huge damage to me. My biggest weakness is myself. After many deaths trying to clear the solar pillar, it’s done. Then I go to the vortex pillar, and this one isn’t too hard. I do die a couple times though, but I end up just boxing myself in right underneath the pillar. Next is stardust. And I farmed some stardust cells until it’s finally time to destroy the pillar. And actually, the fantasm is used in the crafting tree, so I can use that bow. I don’t know if I’m going to use that bow. I don’t think it’s going to be as good. But I head over to the Nebula pillar, and I actually think the fantasm is better at clearing out waves of enemies. The homing arrows that fire once you’ve hit an enemy are really helpful. And finally, impending doom is approaching. After this is done, the challenge is not over. However, can I beat the Moon Lord with only Zenith bow components? As you can see, when the Moon Lord spawns in and I’m already shooting the top eye, that damage is absolutely unreal. But I do get comboed really hard. I’m down to under 100 health. Not a great start, but this damage is absolutely insane. Imagine I somehow choke this. But the eye opens up again and I’m able to destroy the top eye like nothing, but I’m down to like 30 health. Almost get hit by a projectile, but I’m able to just dodge it. Now the core is open and I’m just on the run. If I get hit by anything, I’m probably dead. A matrix dodging these projectiles. I’m back up to a safe 90 health and then I get sniped by a fantasmal bolt for 120 damage. Okay, that’s kind of really embarrassing that I lost that, but you know, all you can do is try again. So, I spawn in the Moon Lord this time, hoping not to get comboed like crazy off the start. Luckily, at the start, I don’t get hit a single time. Good damage at the top eye. Left eye is basically almost destroyed by the time the top eye is open again. And by the time the top eye is shooting its death laser, it’s already out of the socket. I switch over to the right eye and oh my gosh, it’s gone. It’s destroyed. Left eye now. Oh, it’s gone. Look at that. Now it’s just the core. And if I just keep my distance like I normally do with my soaring insignia, infinite flight, I can just keep Oh, I just got hit by a death laser. That’s fine as long as that doesn’t happen again. I can just keep staying at a distance. I switch over to the Autumn’s Reach because it’s in the name. It has quite a bit of reach. I then get hit by an eyeball which takes me down to 30 health. Looking pretty scary, but I do get a heal off. And I go in as the core is pretty low. Finishing off the Moon Lord. And just like that, we’ve beat the game with only Zenith Bow components. But we’re not done yet. I do have to craft the Zenith bow and we have to see the monstrosity that it is. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the bow that the Moon Lord dropped. So, I spawned him in again. This time with the celestial starboard. So, a lot of maneuverability and really this wasn’t that bad. I did get pretty low at one point, but I was able to dodge any projectile in my way with the starboard. And down goes the moon lord once again, but this time I got the yo-yo and a celebration mark 2. So, I have to fight the lunatic altus again and all four pillars, but I do make an endless quiver of luminite arrows. Hopefully, that will increase our damage output. Moon Lord spawns in again. Our damage is quite insane. We’re easily doing over 10,000 damage per second once the core is open. I mean, the damage is busted. If I can line up the luminite extra arrows. Holy crap, he’s gone. Just like that. But no bow. So, I have to fight the pillars once again. And then I realized that it actually has a crafting recipe. And I don’t actually have to kill the moon lord to get it. Uh, well, there it is. The observatory, guys, with a full set of vortex armor. And I’ve made it unreal. Let’s see how much damage it does. Now, it’s kind of like a lunar flare, but a bow version. Its damage is quite insane. It’s sometimes doing over like 20,000 damage to a group of enemies. And with wooden arrows, it shoots these stars. Now, it does way less damage this way, but it is cool. And now with the older bows that I have acquired in my hot bar, starting with the wooden bow, then the bees knees, then the Dadeless Stormb, then the Phantom Phoenix, which I barely used, Terra Vengeance, absolutely insane weapon, the Autumn’s Reach, the Even Tide, the Tsunami, of course, the Fantasm, and the Observatory. All of them together combined to make the Zenith bow. Our final and ultimate bow. Now, this thing better do insane damage if it’s not as good as the Terra Vengeance. Like, what’s the point, man? What’s the point? I have no idea what this thing fires out. I’ve never seen what it looks like. So, let’s try it out. And oh my gosh, that’s kind of insane. Holy crap. So, right off the bat, I noticed that it is like exploding around me. It is also shooting phantom Phoenix projectiles like every shot. It’s shooting out bolts and it’s shooting out arrows. It’s also shooting out like a holy arrow stars. I test it out against the stardust pillar and oh my gosh, it just annihilates every enemy here. The Moon Lord is now approaching and this is the true test. Is it better than the Terra Vengeance? The Moon Lord spawns in and the top eye is almost destroyed off bat. I target the right eye and is destroyed instantly. Left eye along with it. Holy crap, this thing is absolutely insane. This is all with vortex armor with stealth enabled since I can use the celestial starboard hover while in stealth and it doesn’t affect my movement speed. It is a little bit broken. I spawned in the moon lord again. This time I was able to destroy the top eye without it even closing off the start and then the core just like that. Absolutely insane. At the peak damage, it was doing about 47,000 damage per second. I spawned in daytime Empress as if it’s going to be even a challenge. And I mean, I killed her basically as quick as the Terra Vengeance did. So yeah, the Zenith bow, it is really strong, really powerful, but I can’t even say it’s that much better than the Terra Vengeance. Like that thing is a little overtuned. I’m going to be honest. Killed the Queen S cuz I hadn’t done that already along with Deerclops. I mean, Derops was pretty difficult actually, but alas, she was defeated multiple times. I spawned in the Martians cuz I hadn’t done that yet. I mean, they got decimated. They didn’t even stand a chance. The saucer basically imploded after it just looked at me. And then the frost moon. And this was just some fun. Like I was just having fun with this killing things left and right. It was a blast. I mean the damage was freaking insane. I actually did end up dying though because anytime that the ice queen hit me with the chilled debuff, I could barely move which made me a sitting duck to just die. So yeah, even the most broken weapon in the game has its weaknesses, I guess. And then I forgot that I never actually fought the brain of Cthulhu. So I went and did that. And there’s every single relic in the game right there. So yeah, that’s it, guys. If you enjoyed the video, give it a like. Let me know if you want to see more Zenith modded component runs. I might do it in the future. Can’t promise it. So yeah, thanks for watching, guys. Subscribe for more. See you in the next video. [Music]

The Zenith is Terraria’s strongest sword and weapon. It is capable of taking down the most difficult deities in a matter of seconds. But how come the melee class is the only class that gets such an insane powerhouse? Well, today, through the power of modding, we’re going to be ultimately crafted the Zenith BOW. It is an absolutely insanely powerful bow. I’m telling you, it’s broken. And it was all done on Master Mode. Can we beat the Moon Lord?

  2. You should really try Core Keeper sometime, it's a recently released game that takes inspiration from Terraria and is extremely fun. The Terraria devs themselves said more people should try it out

  3. hey, im going to say something
i wouldn't recomend morezenithitems for this, as the balance can be nonexsistent at times
id reccomend the tesseract mod for this, itadds a lot of zenith items that are typically more ballenced

  4. I started playing terraria in 1.4.4 and one of my first reactions to learning about the zenith was "is there a zenith for other weapons?" It's cool that this mod exists because i feel like there should be one for each weapon type. (The answer i got to my question was "nope, i just run the zenith in my summoner build")

  5. This mod is a pretty good example of a general rule of thumb. Modded attempts at making equivalents to the terra blade or zenith tend to only reveal how limp they are in comparison. They're either too weak, too uninteresting, too similar to their melee equivalents, or unnecessarily convoluted compared to the beautiful simplicity of their contemporaries.
