Hello ladies and gentlemen. My name is Sushi and you might remember Tinkerlands. This was a game I briefly covered on the channel a couple months back and it turns out that the developers must have watched my video because next thing I knew they ended up reaching out to me and giving me early early access to the game. So even though you guys can buy your way into early access today, me and a couple of my homies were able to play the game a couple days earlier. Because of this, we were able to actually beat early access. This video includes all of that. So, while an hour-ong video might seem intimidating, consider that this was 14 hours of footage I cut down. A short summary of what Tinkerlands is is top-own Terraria. It does do its own thing, but there is a lot of very, very blatant inspiration. But because of the top down perspective, maybe you want to compare this to Coreke Keeper, in which case they’re completely different games. But anyways, I’ll stop rambling. If you would use your pickaxe to smash the like button in half, I would appreciate it. And if you want to actually know my opinion about this game, you’re just going to have to wait for my video review. Now, we have a couple options for our difficulty. I’m thinking just because Well, wasn’t the game like super hard though? Like enemies would one-shot you. I don’t remember. I mean, it says complete the tutorial. I can’t do anything. I’m stuck here. I just spent like a good 30 minutes going all the way down here getting all the coral, getting all the starfish stuff. Then I spent some time in the wastelands killing like 50 scorpions and then the game just randomly crashed. And because the autosave in this game is garbage, it didn’t actually autosave any of my progress, which means that I am now back at my base with none of those resources. Like you have to save and exit constantly in this game just to have it like functional. That’s so frustrating, dude. Dude. Yeah, this is cool. Heck yeah. We need this gold. Too bad this isn’t even going to be half the gold we need. Yeast. I found yeast, bro. What? Yeast. Nice. Oh. Okay. Uh, we got his fish fin, which is weapon speed by increased by 20% while wet. Jesus. Uh, compressed drill, which is a tool. It’s not as good as the uh one that I have now, but it’s very fast. Then we got some deep sea mineral pressurized bow. Insane damage on that. And then note from the devs. Thanks for joining us on the journey. Although the early access main content ends here for now, we are actively working on new content. Oh, okay. Well, I still want to go back to home base and uh see what other gear we can craft. Let’s see the drill. Okay, the drill because it’s very fast, it’s insanely good for like basic resources. Let’s see. So, there’s his trident. Cool. His armor set, which is uh grants one dash, move in liquid faster, increases damage by 30% across the board, and increase damage by 5% while wet. That’s the set bonus, and it’s insane armor, so it’s just the best armor in the game. There’s an ocean staff. The funny thing is we uh we only got five ore off of him. So, we would have to fight him many, many times. And unfortunately, that means that we would have to light those torches many, many times. But, there is the Coralite armor, which gives us a ton of defense. And then the full set is chance to block damage by 10%, release coralite projectiles when hit, and then there’s also a Coralite staff, which I’ll just craft that just so we can see what the spell is. Oh, that’s cool. Yeah. Yeah, that’s neat. Hey, thanks for making it all the way to the end of the video. Genuinely, I appreciate it. These projects are pretty big for me to tackle. Not only just beating the game in like a couple of days with my friends, but also trying to cut the video down to something more reasonable takes time. So, I always appreciate when developers reach out to me, not only to give me access to their game, but to give me early access so that I can get the video done before the game’s release. Now, while I will go into more detail about the things that I liked and disliked about Tinkerlands in my video review, I will say that the game is solid. My only real complaint is some balancing issues, and the game crashes a lot when you’re in multiplayer with your friends, which is problematic because there’s no way to manually save outside of saving and quitting. I edited a lot out of this video, including the many times the game would crash. So, I’m just giving that to you guys as a fair warning.
