Terraria, But I Can Summon INFINITE Sentries…

In this video, I try to beat Terraria using sentries only. However, to make things more interesting, I installed a mod that allows me to summon an infinite amount of sententuries. And I’ve got to say, it was chaotic. Which sentries will I get my hands on? And just how crazy will things become? Well, you’re about to find out. All right, so because it isn’t possible to get a sentry without killing monsters, I will be playing through the game as I normally would until I get my hands on one. The sentry that I’ve decided on is the houndiest shootest dropped by Derclops. So, my plan as of now is to find life crystals, accessories, craft some armor, and then take on the boss whenever I feel ready. Let’s see what I can find on the right side of the world first. There’s a cave. Found the radar. Another one. Umbrella. Found my first life crystal. A water chest. Oh, gravitation potions. Very nice. I’ll go look for some sky islands later. Oh, I think I see a deposit of gems. Ooh, okay. sapphire and some rubies. Oh, there’s even amethyst hair. Hopefully, I’ll have enough of one type of gem to make a hook. And also, I think I might be color blind cuz I thought I saw sapphire, but instead it was just amethyst. Oh, okay. That should be enough. Yep, now I can make the amethyst hook. Okay, I think that’s about it for this cave. Let’s head back up. I’m going to build a house to store my items away first. There we go. Inventory has been cleaned out a bit. I’m going to make the amethyst hook. Platinum pickaxe. And then I’m going to drink a gravitation potion to search for some sky islands. Okay, here’s the first one. Come on. Yes. Just what I was looking for. A better weapon. Second one, the shiny red balloon. And lastly, the lucky horseshoe. Oo, okay. Got warding on it. I got some more tungsten bars now. So, let’s make the tungsten chain mail for a bit of defense. And then to prepare to summon Darecops, I’m going to farm the materials needed to craft the dare thing. So, I need three Fling Spur, five demonite ore, and one lens. So, to the snow biome I go. Found an ice chest. Ice boomerang. I’ll hold on to that. Ooh, a gold one. Oh my god. Okay. Love to see that. Warding Hermes boots. There we go. Got enough flinks fur now. That is 200 health. Got some demon knight ore, but I just need two more. There we go. Got enough demon knights. And now I can craft the deer thing. I’m not going to take on the boss just yet, as I believe that I’m not ready just yet. So, I’m going to head into the jungle to max out my health, find more accessories, and hopefully get a better weapon. I’m aiming for a ranged weapon like the boomstick. That’s going to be 300 health. Ooh, cloud in a bottle. Found the band of regeneration. Oh, that’s a ruby. So, now I have enough to make the ruby hook. Oh, there’s the boomstick. This is going to help me kill Darecops a lot faster. Found the suspicious looking eye. And I just need two more life crystals until max health. Just need one more. And that is max health. Okay, I should be all set to take on Derclops. Oh, nice. And clear of the wind. But yeah, let’s go back home, store my items away. I mined a bunch of tungsten. So, let’s finish up the tungsten armor set. There we go. 23 defense. And now I’m going to collect some more wood so that I can build some NPC houses for the arms dealer to move in. Then I can purchase musk balls from him and be able to use the boomstick. There we go. Five should be good. Okay, arms dealer has arrived. Let’s buy a bunch of musk balls. 1,000 should be good. And now I’m all set to take on Derclops. So, let’s head over to the snow biome to summon him. Oh, wait. I almost forgot. Let’s make the ruby hook. There we go. And now, let’s go. All right. Arena has been completed. It’s time to take on the boss. 3 2 1. Coming in on the right. Start blasting. Wait, what? Okay, there we go. Now I can deal damage. Jesus, that does so much. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Ow. Okay, dodge that. That’s a lot of hands. Oh my god. So, it looks like whenever it turns purple like that, I won’t be able to deal damage. And that happens every time I go too far away. So, it looks like I have to be close to it. Heal up. And what the heck is slowing me? I didn’t even get touched by anything and I got slowed. See again. 10 seconds of slow. What the heck? Oh god. Okay, it’s at 50% health now. That’s going to hit me. Yep. Come on. Heal. Heal. Heal. Okay. Oh, that was so bad. Ow. Yeah, I might not be able to do it this time. Oh god. Heal. No. What the heck? I’m dead. Nope. Nope. Nope. Oh my god. Should I be on the lower level? Uh, nope. I’m dead. No, that took so long. Wait, why is it still here? Oh, please tell me I can just go back and fight it again. Oh my god. Yes, I can. Thank god. 1 th000 more health. Few more shots left. And done. Oh, that took so long. Okay, now hopefully the treasure bag has the houndiest shoot. If not, I think some hairs are going to get ripped off. Three, two, one. Yes. Thank god we got the quick Houndiest Shuttius. 24 damage and uses 20 mana. Well, now that I have this, it’s time to say goodbye to all my other weapons. It’s night time right now, so I should probably make use of this time to collect as many fallen stars as possible to raise up my max mana. Oh, but let’s just test out the sentry first. Here we go. Ooh, fire rate is a bit slow, but once I have enough of them down, that won’t really matter. Okay, that should be enough on stars. I got 45. Let’s turn them into mana crystals. And I think that should be enough for max [Music] mana. 200. Yep. And now I can spam summon my sententuries. Oh yeah, things are about to get crazy. I was about to summon the Eye of Cthulhu, but I think it’s about to be daytime, so I’m going to have to summon it the next night. While I wait, I guess I can just summon the Eater of Worlds instead, just so I’m not sitting around doing nothing. Let’s just place down a couple of platforms before I summon it. Let’s expand the area a bit as well. Okay, let’s go break the shadow orbs. Here we go. Last one. And it begins. Blow it up. 600 damage per second. This is beautiful. Let’s put down some more cuz why not? Damn, this boss is getting annihilated. And just like that, all done. Man, I cannot wait to test out the other centuries. I think I’m going to go summon it one more time to ensure I have enough materials for the shadow armor and nightmare pickaxe. Here we go again. Run to the arena. Move out of my way, please. Okay, heal up and die. Oh my god. I’m not even moving. It can’t even get close to me. Look at that. There we go. Oh, wow. The sentries I placed earlier are still here. I think they stay for around 10 minutes if I’m not mistaken. Okay, now with enough materials, let’s craft the nightmare pickaxe and the full shadow armor. Beautiful. 31 defense. Let’s now prepare for the Eye of Cthulhu fight. So, let’s build an arena. Okay, all done. And now, let’s wait until nighttime to summon it. Okay, it is officially nighttime and I have lined up a lot of Houndius. So, I think this boss is going to get one-shotted. Let’s find out. Three, two, one. Okay, well, it’s not a one shot, but this thing shreds. Wow, that sound was amazing to hear. Time to make my way to the dungeon to take on Skeletron. Also, now that I’ve taken down the Eater of Worlds, I believe the Tavern Keep is allowed to spawn. So whenever I find him, I will be taking on the old one’s army. And he’s also able to give me many more options for centuries. Specifically, four more types. Okay, honestly, a single platform should do it. And this time, instead of spreading all of my sentries out, I’m going to concentrate them in a single area. Okay, I think there are over a 100 sentries in this little area. It’s time to summon Skeletron. Oh, I’m excited. Here we go. Three. Oh, look at that. Okay, well, it missed, but still. Damn. Okay, here we go. 3 2 1 and shoot. Oh my god, that was 107 damage per second. Oh, wait. The hand just got blow. Oh my god. Wait, did the fallen star just hit this? What the heck just happened? Did a fallen star just hit Skeltron as well? Oh, I wish I could see that again. Everything went by so fast. Okay, I have access into the dungeon now. So, let’s look for the shadow key and cobalt shield. Found the cobalt shield. And there’s the shadow key. It’s almost time to take on the wall of flesh. So, let’s start mining down to hell. I’ll also be keeping an eye out for the tavern keep. Okay, made it down to hell. Let’s start mining some hellstone and let’s collect this voodoo doll. That should be good. 159. Let’s craft the molten pickaxe. And I do want to combine my accessories together. So, let’s head to the right side of the world to farm some goblin scouts for tattered cloth. Oh, hello, King Slime. I was not expecting you. Okay, let’s start putting my sentries down. Okay. And you’re dead. Dead. Dead. Slimy saddle. Nope. That’s fine. There we go. That should be enough. Now I can summon the army. And here they are. So all I really got to do is just stand still and let my centuries do the work. All right. Goblin army has been defeated. That went by pretty quickly. Now, let’s go search for the goblin tinkerer. Oh, there he is. Let’s buy rocket boots and the workshop. I’m also going to reforge my hound via Shuttius. Not sure what the best modifier on centuries are. Ooh, godly. Okay, guess I’m settling with this. Let’s start combining some accessories now. So, Spectre boots, blue horseshoe balloon, and then let’s make the obsidian skull to combine it with the cobalt shield for the obsidian shield. All right, I should be all good to go to take on the wall of flesh. I think what I’m going to do is place sentries along the way cuz I don’t want to just place a whole bunch at the very end cuz if somehow the wall of flesh survives that and moves forward, then I’m pretty much screwed. My DPS will drop dramatically and I probably won’t be able to defeat it. Oh, hello. There’s the tavern keep. Let’s buy the eternia crystal stand and eternia crystal. After I defeat the wall of flesh, then I will take on the old one’s army. Oh, thank god I bought those items cuz the tavern keep just died. Okay, that should be good enough. Let’s move over to the right and drop in the bootall to summon the boss. Three, two, one. Here it comes. Oh, please be enough. Oh. Oh. Okay. Yes. Come on. Keep going. Don’t let it get past you guys. Shoot. Please. Please. Please. No. Oh, yes. Thank god. I got a bit worried there. Okay, it’s time to take on the old one’s army. But first, I got to flatten out an area. Okay, I think that should be long and flat enough. Let’s just put down a few more sentries and then start it up. So far so good. On this side. Ooh. Okay, not quite long enough. I’ll probably expand it later on, but as of now, it’s fine. And I think this is the last wave. Oh, no. Looks like one more maybe. Oh, yeah. There we go. The one with the dark mage. The dark mage is on the left. Come on up. Don’t be shy. Just a million senties waiting for you. And dead. All right. Old One’s army has been defeated. Got the squire shield, which increases summon damage by 10%. Okay, the tavern keep died earlier, so I got to build some more NPC houses for him to respawn. There he is. Let’s buy, I guess, the ballista rod since it has the highest damage. Not sure if this is going to be better than my houndiest, but let’s test it out. Oh, and this requires a lot less mana, so I can place down many more at a time. Oh, and let’s not forget to reforge it. Oh, mythical. I did not know senties could get this modifier. Okay, that should be plenty placed down. Let’s go at it one more time. Wait. Oh my Yeah, I forgot it uses 10 Ethereum mana. I mean, using it normally will be fine, but during this then it looks like I’m going to have to use the Hound Asus. Okay, that’s all done. This time I got the apprentice’s scarf which increases summon damage by another 10%. Now let’s head back to the corruption to break some demon alters for the hard mode ores. We’ve got palladium, mithril, and adamantite. That’s enough palladium onto the mithril. That is enough. And lastly, let’s go mine the adventites. And that is enough adamantite. With the adamantite, I’m just going to craft the melee version since that gives the most defense. So from 23 defense to 54. Then I’m going to head up onto a sky island to farm some wyverns for souls of light. Okay, so honestly speaking, I don’t know if these are actually better than my houndius shoots. They attack way slower. So yeah, I don’t know if I really want to compare them. I’m going to have to make myself a dummy. Oh, and that was enough souls of flights. Perfect. Let’s just grab some more feathers. I know for a fact that these ballista rods are going to be way better compared to the houndsius when it comes to taking on the destroyer. Okay, that is enough feathers. Now I can make angel wings. Before I take on the mechanical bosses, there is just one more sentry that I want to check out. And that is the queen spider staff. So, let’s go and kill some spiders. Okay, that is enough spider fangs. Let’s check out the queen spider staff. Okay, not bad. Look at the amount of spiders. Wait, this could be a goated sentry. Oh my god, look at this. What the heck is that? Okay, I cannot wait to take on some bosses with these. Let’s get this thing reforged. Oh, mythical. Okay, first mechanical boss that I’ll be taking on is going to be the twins. Let’s put down a few more spiders. Okay, 3, two, one. Oh my, I didn’t even see it. Oh, 10,000 damage per second. Spasmatism just got instantly annihilated. Oh no, this is too crazy. Yeah, this is way better compared to the ballista rod. And now that a mechanical boss has been defeated, the tavern keep is now selling some armor. I don’t have nearly enough defender medals. So, let’s go take on the old ones army some more. God, I am still in disbelief of how much damage I dealt. Okay, I think this is the last wave. Ogres are now coming in. Last one. Okay. Looks like I have 30 defender medals now, which is still not enough. I need 45 in total for the entire armor set and an additional 15 for the next tier of centuries. So, let’s do it again. Okay, that should be enough. I now have 55 medals, which is enough for the armor sets, but I do need five more for the next tier of sentries. I guess for now, let’s just get the armor set. So, let’s go for the squire’s armor. This gives a lot of defense and a life regeneration from 54 defense to 62 and then from 37 summon damage to 43. Okay, let’s get five more medals. Okay, I promise you guys that is it. I’ve got 35, which is enough for two. So, I’m thinking either the flame burst and ballista or the flame burst and explosive trap. I think I’m going to go for these two cuz I already have a version of this. So, let’s do it. Flame burst and explosive trap. I’m going to be honest, I don’t think even these tier 2 sentries are going to be better than the queen spider staff. Okay, got myself a dummy. So, let’s actually test out the damage. Let’s do the flame burst first. So, around 120 damage. And now for the queen spider staff. Wow, that is like triple the amount. Even though the base damage for the queen spider staff is lower compared to the flame burst, I’m pretty sure because of the spiders that spawn out of the eggs, that’s why they’re dealing so much more damage. Let’s check out the explosive trap cane. Will this work if I put the dummy on top? Oh, yeah. [Music] So, it looks like it does around the same damage as the queen spider staff. These are, of course, way worse because they can only be activated when they’re stepped on. So, really, the Queen spider staff is just overall better. Okay, it’s time to take on the next mechanical boss, and that’s going to be the destroyer. I have enough sentries placed down already, so let’s just start it up. Um, what the hell just happened? I barely got to see it. 27,000 damage. And I’m pretty sure it was higher than that. As soon as it spawned, I swear to God, 75% of its health just disappeared. Okay. And lastly, Skeletron Prime. There we go. Let’s see the damage. Yeah, it’s okay. Flame burst is um kind of weak. Ooh, that was bad. Okay, saw’s down. Vice is down. Cannon is down. Come on. Let’s get rid of that laser. There we go. And now just ahead. All done. So, now that all three mechanical bosses have been defeated, let’s go craft the pickaxe and then head into the jungle to look for the planter bulb. Are you serious? Okay, pirates are approaching. Never mind. Let’s go take care of them first. There we go. Pirates have been defeated. Ooh, cross necklace and philosopher stone. Oh my god. And there’s the planter bulb. Nice. All right, the arena has been completed. I’ve put down a bunch of flame burst canes and a little bit of the explosive traps. So now, let’s go summon Plantera. Three, two, one. Oh, it’s already here. What the heck? Solid 2,000. Oh, it’s ramping up. Oh, whoa. Okay, that’s pretty good. I was like, 2,000 damage per second. That’s not bad. And then all of a sudden goes up to over 10,000. Okay, time to head into the temple to take on Golem. Okay, the arena has been set up. This time I clumped up all the sentries together and then I just laid out some explosive traps on the bottom. Without further ado, let’s start it up damage. Let’s see. Oh no. Wait, can they not shoot downwards? Oh no, they can. Wait, what? Hello. Shoot. It’s like focusing on the fists and not the head. Oh, there we go. There we go. Okay, heal up. Now, let’s focus on dodging. Head is down. Oh, 3,000 damage per second. One more shot and dead. Now that Golem has been defeated, the Tavern Keep is selling the next and final tier of armor and sentries. So, it’s time to take on the old One’s army a few more times. Okay, last wave. Betsy is here. Come on, killer. Okay, this is taking longer than expected. I thought these spiders would just one-shot her. I think the boss is just moving way too fast. Okay, and we’re done. Looks like I now have 147 defender medals. Each armor piece cost 50. So I need 150. And then for the last tier of sentries, it cost 60. So I need 210 defender medals total. One more should do it. Okay, now I have enough. Let’s purchase the Valhalla’s armor set first. 66 defense to 76. I have 128 medals left, so I can afford two sentries. Let’s do the ballista staff this time and then the lightning aura staff. Time for some reforging. Oh my god. 293 summon damage. Crazy. And then lightning or staff. Damn, these are very expensive to reforge. Okay, let’s just settle with deadly. Let’s make our way to the dungeon now to take on the lunatic cultist. Let’s place down some sentries first. Okay, that should be good. What am I looking at? Will the lighting or staff hurt the lunatic devotees? Oh, yeah, we’re good. Here we go. I think the best way is just to stay still. Oh. Oh, 20,000 damage per second. I bet you if I used these sentries against the destroyer, it would literally one-shot it. Okay, let’s go take care of the celestial pillars. Wait, what is this buff? Ballista panic. I think every time I get damaged. Yeah, your ballistas rapidly shoot in panic. Oh, my ball holla’s knight armor set effect is the reason why it does that. Greatly enhances ballista effectiveness. Nice. So, I chose the right one without even knowing. Okay, Stardust pillar has been destroyed. Down goes the vortex pillar. Two left. Solar pillar down. One more to go. And there goes the last pillar. Time for Moon Lord. There we go. Come on, centuries. Don’t let me down. Keep putting them down. Okay, both hands are down. Forehead, eyes down. Just the core. Go, go, go. Oh. Okay, I’m going to be honest. I didn’t even realize the hands were dead already. That was so fast. Ooh, got the godly rainbow crystal staff. That is another sentry. All right, let’s start putting these down. And I will be taking on Moon Lord again. I am a bit worried of my eyes. I’m not going to lie. Having this many down could potentially blind me. Okay, let’s do it. [Music] Oh boy. I wonder what’s going to happen. And go. Oh my. Wait. Okay. Forehead eye open up. God. Wait. Is he even Is it even doing damage or is it too many? I can’t even tell. Okay, I’m going to resummon Moon Lord one more time, but I’m only going to use the Rainbow Crystal Staff. All right, let’s see. Okay. Yeah, it does. Oh my. Look how pretty that is. What the That is eye candy. Honestly, I could look at that all day. [Music] Wow. Oh, wait. I also got the lunar portal staff. Another sentry. Okay, let’s test this one out, too. Okay, one last time. This is going to be good. Oh, well that was a sneak peek. Here we go. Wait, what the heck? I didn’t expect to be that good. That was even better than the rainbow crystal staff. Oh my god. Okay, let’s put down this dummy. What the heck? Jesus. 120,000 damage per second. Okay, I’m pretty sure my rainbow crystal staff’s still here. Yep. Let’s do this one, too. Oh, 80,000 damage per second. Yeah, still insanely strong, but doesn’t match up to the lunar portal staff. Okay, what happens if I put it right in the middle of this? Oh god, that’s bright. What the heck? The DPS goes even higher. It’s double the amount now. 240,000. All right, that’s going to be it, guys. That was the Infinite Centuries mod.
