Terraria’s First 3D BOSS is Here…

They just added in the first 3D Terraria boss fight to the game where it pretty much turns Terraria into a soulslike. And on top of that, this is easily one of the hardest boss fights ever. Let’s hop in game and see just how insane this boss fight is. Hey yo, I am very hyped today to be checking out this Terraria mod once again, aka the game Terraria mod. One of my favorite mods because it’s super unique and adds in a lot of fun bosses and other stuff. But today, you probably seen by the intro, they added in something crazy. One of the craziest 3D/soulslike boss. I don’t even know. I was told that I can’t even fight this thing in god mode. So, we’re about to see how this goes down. Let’s see. I’m terrified. I am terrified. Real quick, though, if you guys don’t know about the game Terraria mod, again, super unique. Let me just bring in some random stuff here. You know, let’s bring in this dude, the Snowdon. Snow Legion love. So, obviously it’s showing Snow Legion love. You already got my praise. Damn, turned his ass into a ball. It’s got little bosses. Look how tiny this dude is. Where is he? I don’t even know where he’s at. Oh, he’s super quick. Super lightning fast lizard. But it just has a lot of cool stuff. You even fight the sun at some point in this. That’s right, the sun. Maybe we’ll check out this mod again in its own video, but for now, we’re here to check out the flare icon, I believe, is the name of the boss. I don’t even know how to go about spawning it in cuz I don’t even know if it’s on here. Is it on here? Yeah, I don’t know if it’s on here. Where? Where? Where? Where could it be? Who are these two dudes in the book? Look at this. Spawn conditions unknown. Spawn conditions unknown. Who are these Isaac bosses? This dude, I think, is from Risk of Rain, right? Okay, I think I figured it out. We type in slash enter. Oh, that’s not how you spell that. Enter. God damn. Enter. Aha. What are we working with here? Black screen. Did you break my game? Oh yo, this kind of sick looking. Look at this. Yo, look at the W. Oh, who the hell is bro? Oh god, the camera moving. I don’t feel like bro is on my side. He cannot be. Yo, this is a souls. Like, look at this. You can now move in the third dimension. What the heck? Whoa, this is so cool. What if I just don’t attack, bro? Like what if we just, you know, dap up, become homies? He seemed like he’s a good dude. Like honestly, I don’t feel like I need to touch, bro. Oh my god. Look at this. Wait, I don’t have wings. Can’t fly. What? Okay, let’s do it. I’m sorry, bro. You seem like a good dude, but I I I got to make the video, man. Oh, I’m so sorry. He’s still fine. What the Oh, Momo hit that Michael Jackson. Oh, Michael Jackson didn’t fall, though. That guy says, “Oh, he’s talking.” There’s voicing voice acting in Terraria. I’ve only seen this like one other time. You odd things. That’s crazy to say. You are here. Surely you possess. Give it to me. Whoa. What the hell? I wasn’t even ready. That’s crazy. So, that’s how we playing, huh? That’s how we playing. Didn’t it say press C to lock on? It’s not working. What? All right. Well, we got a slight problem. The lock on button just doesn’t work anymore. And there’s no uh control setting for it. So, I don’t really know what to do there. I guess we’re fighting them without locking on. The thing is my camera isn’t even straight. So, this is going to be very interesting. Yeah. There you go. There you go. Almost got it. Almost there. Wow. This is going to be so fun not being able to lock on. Oh, does not match my own. Okay. My boy just straight up cheating. First time he gave us the dialogue. Second time he didn’t give us the dialogue. He’s just gone now. He gave up. Oh, there he is. Dude, like how? This is so weird. Like being able to turn around. Okay, let’s attempt to hit his crystal, which I can’t reach. Hold up. I got a question. What? I can’t use the greater tome. It doesn’t work. Okay, I’m ready. I’m not ready. I’m ready. Your prow. How do I How do I dodge this attack? I’m starting to wonder how many times can I die to that attack. There we go. I swear I Your prowess does not match my own. This dude has one tapped me like five times. Okay, here we go. Dodge to the left immediately. He read it. He actually Did you see that? He put his [ __ ] even further to where I was going to dodge. This is crazy. Hey, at least I could respawn immediately. I just wish the camera lock on actually worked. Like, can you hear me pressing C? It worked the first time. I don’t know why it doesn’t work anymore. It doesn’t help that I can’t like my little ass body in this game can’t reach the thing that I got to break on him. Oh my god. I’m so glad the camera was facing the other direction. Wow. I’m so happy the camera keeps facing the other direction when the boss fight starts. That’s very fun. All right, I just had to completely restart my game, but I think the lock on’s working now. Yeah, look at that. Thank god I can play normally now just to get one tap. All right, here we go. I got it. No, I don’t got it. I I don’t know the timing. Okay, I got it this time for real. We keep moving, right? Which I wasn’t able to do before cuz I couldn’t hit his like little crystal. Boom. And when I say boom, I mean that’s when he hits me on the head. Okay, I’m going backwards. Doesn’t matter. Now, if you’re asking me, you should just use the rotted discord. Doesn’t work. Or you should just stand far away and use the SDMG. Let’s see. It’s not hitting him. Wait, there you go. Yeah. What if I stand over here? Come and get me. Bro, can’t even touch me. I lied. Remember that one try we had where we dodged it and then died immediately after? Man, that was that was a good time. Oh my god, I got past it just to die immediately after. How the [ __ ] am I supposed to know? I’ve gotten to experience that attack for like 2 seconds total out of like 50 tries. You guys know that I’ve beaten every like Souls game with like no struggle. But when it comes to this Terraria boss, I can’t even get past this first move. Crazy world we live in, right? Crazy world. There you go. And I don’t get that second attack. Okay, I see the little light there, but I swear I jumped over that [ __ ] Am I just supposed to like predict to dodge that? Like, this is only my third time seeing that. I think I un Okay, I thought I understood that. I thought you had to jump and then dash. It’s not my fault. This dude’s got [ __ ] hands the size of Shack. You know what, y’all? I’m done playing around. Let me lock in. I’m sorry. I’mma lock in. I’m geared up and ready to go this time. Different gear. I look for the optimal setup. Let’s get it. Let’s get it. We rocking Meow Mirror. I’m ready. Boom. Dodge that first hit. He went for a slap instead of the giant circle ability. I know, crazy. He changes it up sometimes. There you go. There’s the giant circle. Bam. Went for the slam again. Just completely dodged it. These moves are insane, though. He sometimes doesn’t insta- kill you with some of them, which is very weird because as you saw, I got insta killed like 80 times in the beginning. But he’s just doing a nice little 50 here and there. As you can tell though, I’ve adapted so well. I’m beating the [ __ ] out of him. He cannot withstand the power of the Meowir. Forget the Zenith. The Zenith was us. I got him red. I got him downloaded. I know every single move he’s about to do. It’s almost like a AI is playing. That’s how good I’ve gotten as we can see. Don’t worry about the big circle. It’s not hitting me. And that’s also not hitting me. Weak ass slap move. But he kind of just does the same handful of moves until obviously a certain point. He’s going to bring in a new phase. I’ve studied this fight. I know everything that’s coming. That’s a lie. but also the truth at the same time cuz he is kind of just doing the same three moves. Oh, here we go. We got some new dialogue. He going he going to do what with his skin. I like how you can hear the meow mirrors like bouncing in the background. What is these like Scooby-Doo ass footsteps I’m hearing? Yo, this is sick. Look in the background now. He lowkey came down like what’s his face from Elen Ring? Ratagon. Nope, not Ratagon. I forgot his name. But new boob set. He does like a weird eye blast. He’s still doing the little like sonic wave. He still does the hand smash. Two of them. That little like I don’t even know what that is. Eye blast where it come out his eyes. So, it’s got to be an eye blast. Lowkey easy to dodge. I’m not having any troubles dodging that. Same thing with that move. And I’ve gotten used to the slap. But the slap into the ground pound or the hand smash kind of crazy. I’ve adapted so well. Like y’all would never even tell that that was me dying in the intro like 30 times to the same move. Oh, what is he doing? What move is he pulling out? I’m assuming lasers. Yep. Come on. Terraria bosses. It’s a great fight. You know the lasers are coming out. That’s always how it is. I really love the design of this boss, bro. Even though like if you look at him, he’s literally just like a a black texture with blue eyes and that’s it. But it’s so funny because it’s interior. That’s what makes this such a good boss fight. And also, it’s pretty much a Souls boss fight to an extent. I don’t got my rolling stuff though. Like I said, I’ve dominated every Souls game, but once it came to some Terraria bosses, I can’t even knock 10 HP off the health bar. Shoot, I still die through King Slime sometimes. Whoa, he really hitting the Damn, I can’t remember his name from Elden Ring. It’s not Ratagon. Roon. There we go. He hitting the Redon moves. My boy said Crescendo. You know, Rodon in the DLC when he’s just spamming all the light moves. That’s what this feels like. But the thing is, Rodon feels 30 times easier than this dude is. At this point though, I’ve gotten used to 90% of his move set. It’s the same moves most of the time with just like the occasional new move like the lasers and stuff. So, honestly, I think I got this in the bag. We’re almost done. I’m not going to lie, before this exact fight, I popped three aderalls and a Red Bull just so I could lock in. I also had to put my glasses on cuz my contacts are getting too dry for not blinking. He’s going crazy though. What the heck? Oh, he about to do an explosion. Lasers again. I think it’s the lasers. Yep. Got to stay in the air. We need that good flight. Even then, you know, it doesn’t insta kill you. Oh, I’m almost dead. I just noticed. Oh, watch out. Oh, good try. Good try, though. Let me lock in, though. Let me clutch up. Now, what I’m praying is that he doesn’t have another face. Please don’t have another face. There’s no way, right? Oh, look at him. My boy hit the Michael Jackson. [ __ ] Michael Jackson death pose. Icon slain, baby. No second phase. That’s so beautiful and unlike any other powers and knowledge beyond even time and space. But know this, my connection to this world is not severed forever. Your hide is mine. My hide is yours. Well, I do hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I am not exactly the person you think I am. Surprised. It was me all along. Game raiders need a little bit of assistance. And who was I to say no? I mean, it was my idea to begin with, so his hands are clean. I’m the one that suggested the bamboozling. But with our little hoax out of the way, what say you? We watch us some credits. I don’t know what that is. Sorry, my voice. You know, I’ve been a little sick recently. But yeah, that was such a sick boss fight. literally a 3D boss in Terraria.
