  1. So tell me, do you agree or disagree? What maps are best for each spouse?

Four-Corners Map Blurb: I think this well balanced map would be good for Maru and Penny. For Maru, she's interested in various types of specimens to study. I can imagine Demetrius coming to the farm to help her study. For Penny, I think she enjoys variety in her life as it would be so different from her current mundane life. She enjoys the beach, enjoys the forest, enjoys the river… The Four-Corners map could be great for her!

  2. One benefit for Harvey on the beach farm is free coffee from the supply crates that wash ashore!

I also want to re-mention my request for a theory craft on the lore behind the abandoned house used by the hat mouse, I haven’t seen much discussion around it

  3. Great vid, about a month ago i asked the same question on forums to see what people can add to my suggestions. Love to seea video from you on that topic too!

  4. Penny loving the hilltop farm also fits in when you think about her Maru being best friends! Considering the two talk about each other during marriage dialogues I think it makes sense.

  5. Riverlands Farm Cause someone did them dirty 😛- Sam (less allergies and he always hangs out by rivers), Krobus (a cozy damp farm with ducks would be perfect for him)

Monster Farm – Abigail(edge lord), Sebastian (edge lord 2)

Meadow Farm – Alex (needs eggs and solid ground for exercise), Harvey (needs a safe relaxing meadow)

Mountain Farm – Maru (SPACE ✨), Shane (what’s he gonna do, mess up my dirt pile?)

Basic Boring Farm – Penny (it’s boring and has room for kids)

Four Corners – Leah (woodsy but also a quick walk to her place and the woods), Emily (she’s all about nature and balance and it has a small quarry)

Beach Farm – Haley (what sodor said lol), Elliott (same)

  6. I know it's just the nature of cutscenes in video games, but it's just funny how Abigail's 14 heart event makes the farmer vulnerable to an attack, even though literally any other interaction with a monster would be "oh, you hit me for 10 damage, whatever, I'll just be on my way now." or even straight up. "I've already cut down 100,000 monsters, what makes you think you're any different?"

  7. When I first had Sebastian moving in with me I was playing with the Forest Farm, and when I first had Leah move in with me I was playing on the Hilltop Farm so they might have been happier with the others' farm but it's okay😅

  8. My only disagreement is that I think the wilderness farm would be one of the worst for Abigail. Yes, she has an interest in monsters, but she doesn’t like killing them and would go out of her way to NOT kill them if she had the choice. In one of her friendship events she asks the farmer if we’ve wielded a sword. You can say "yes, but only in self defense” to which she replies that she wouldn’t want to kill anything unless she had to, or something like that. She also feels so bad for killing the monster that was literally going to end the farmer, I just don’t think she has it in her to deal with them every day. Ultimately, I think she is the best contender for the four corners farm because it has a variety of biomes to explore, which is something that would interest her especially.

  9. I feel like the meadowlands farm would suit emily well too, since her main thing is sewing and fibrecrafts! The functional sewing nook in her home, the desert festival makeover, heck the makeover cutscene with the other townsfolk too. You could raise sheep together and she could spin it into yarn~ but I really like your reasoning for the woodland farm, I think that totally tracks too 😀

  10. I think you nailed all of these, but I think Sam would love the riverland farm! He likes bodies of water, see him hanging around them all over the valley! Like by his house with Seb, the beach with Vincent, the bridge with Penny or alone in the forest! ❤
Great video as always and wishing you the speediest of recoveries!!! ❤

  11. The only one i disagree with is Sam. Tho he might like ginger island beach the beach farm would be terrible for him to skateboard. I would think the Riverland farm would be better for him. He also likes to hang out near the river a lot. So i think he would be the only spouse that would be best and enjoy and like that farm the most.

  12. Would think Emily's hobby of making clothes would make a solid argument for the Meadowlands farm. A love for wool and cloth, as well as plenty of space for all the health foods

  13. Hey, Sodor! I am a in and out viewer of your channel and i really enjoyed this video!

I did want to theow a slightly different idea at you though and wanted to get your thoughts.

    Abigail and the Meadowlands Farm.

Now i know. I know. Bit of a strange choice, right? Well, it is… until you look a little bit deeper.

    First, at 6 hearts, she has a line of dialogue that states;

"I cant trust people who dont like animals. Oh! Dont worrry, i know you're an animal lover!"

So she clearly loves animals. When you marry her, she brings David Jr with her. The wallpaper in her room is also blue, like the grass, with fish on it, i.e. another animal.

The farm is also massive, which gives her a huge area to go exploring. She actively dislikes fighting monsters as seen in her 14 heart scene and when you see her distraught about killing. When you see her in the mines on a rainy day, she proudly declares she got there without fighting any monsters!

Next, in fall, tbe season with her birthday in it, the blue grass turns purple and it just kinda vibes with her.

  14. Hope you’re resting well and congrats on your marriage!!

Currently, I married Leah on the Meadowlands Farm. I utilized a the mushroom log a lot and I made it so it’s like you’re strolling through a forest. For future farms, I’m thinking of marrying Harvey on the Riverland farm as imo as it’s the coziest farm and I like to think he’d fish the salmon for his salmon dinner from our own farm. Also, I really like the idea of marrying Maru on the beach farm. Something about stargazing from the beach is so magical. As for personal headcanons/theories go, I also thought how suspicious it was that the Crop Fairy and Sandy have the same color palette, same pink hair and outfit (blue dress with pink belt). Given how mysterious sandy is, maybe she has some fairy origins? 😋 just a silly thought of mine

  15. I hope you feel well soon! Sorry to hear about your accident. 💐 Love your content so no worries, please take your time and feel better!

  16. Additionally for Elliot, you can fish up a painting of a boat at the bottom of the beach farm map – one that looks like the boat from the 10 heart cut scene! He is my go to spouse and I think of the beach farm with the boat painting as his ‘canon ending’.

  17. I think you're a bit hasty to say the beach farm for Haley.

I get where you're coming from; she spends a lot of time at the beach in the summer, and she has the quote: “The only thing I like about this town is the beach.”, which makes it seem pretty cut and dry, but there are some other factors to consider.

This quote is quite an early one in her character development. At 8 hearts, we see the quote: “There are only two things I like about this town. One of them is the beach. The other one is a secret! *giggle*”. This shows that she isn't as shallow as she pretended to be at first. There are things she cares about, she was just too scared to expose herself through fear of being hurt.

You can also see in her schedule that she spends about the same amount of time by the river taking pictures, as she does on the beach. Personally, I don't think the beach farm would be good for photography because I find it kinda ugly, but that's subjective.

Overall, whilst I do think Haley would be happy on the beach farm, I think she would be equally as happy on the forest or the river lands farm because of the opportunity for photography. I think the forest farm might just win because it has more room for cows, but it doesn't have as much water, which Haley likes taking pictures of

  18. One of the things I notice about Leah is that she kinda… Doesn't have many/any friends? At the saloon we see her hang out with Elliot—until she starts taking a romantic interest in the farmer, at which point he stops sitting with her. We also see Elliot has bought art from her and hangs out with her during festivals, and she has one nice scene with Robin during the Stardew valley fair, but aside from that? She doesn't hang out at the library, when she's on the beach she's as far from other people as she can get, she spends a lot of time alone in the forest, she lives right next to Marnie and Jas but none of them have anything to say about each other, Marnie has more to say about the wizard than she does about Leah. Aside from her One Friend in Elliot who she may or may not only be showing interest in as a potential romantic interest, she just Doesn't spend time with other people. She strikes me as a very lonely person, in this regard.
Also, I usually put Penny on the forest farm because I think she'd like the fairy tale magical-ness of it all best, but you've got a point about the hilltop farm for her! I'll have to try that next time I start a new file.

  19. Now I feel bad for marrying Elliott on a riverland farm 😂 I didn't take his personality into account until recently and I was like "…Dang, I should have gotten a beach farm if I was going to marry Elliott."

My next save I plan to romance Sebastian, and I will definitely try the hilltop farm! I've only ever done riverland and standard farm, so it'll be a new experience 👍🏿
