A NEW BIG MINECRAFT UPDATE JUST LEAKED

Great morning gamers. It’s me. So, a new Minecraft update leak. And this new little leak, it’s not just any leak. On our official Harvard certified Minecraft leaker credibility rating scale, well, on our official credibility rating scale, from a mad happy, untrustworthy cow to Roger Badgererman. This leaker is right about next to Badger. With an essentially perfect track record at the least, this stuff is super intriguing when it comes to the current update and what update could come sometime soon. Just in case you didn’t read the title, you stumbled here by happen stance. Warning, there are potential spoilers ahead. Enter Laker Mwam, a decently familiar character. Mwam. The name, it tickles a familiar nodule inside of the brain. It rings a bell. Where we might have heard about Mwam before is with, well, all of these previous cape leaks that have gone down, well, to be honest, definitely over the past year. But the successful track record that Mam has extends way farther back than just a year. In the past, Mam has been more than credible when it comes to talking about things that are coming to Minecraft but have not quite yet been fully revealed. Wham revealed not only both of these capes that are now over a year old. Oh my god. But tons and tons of other capes and interesting things having to do with updates as well. So there it was. The fateful day of April 18, 2025. specifically 8:08 a.m. in the morning. This was a Tuesday. Weather was calm, nice, not too breezy, the perfect kind of early spring day when all of a sudden, bam. Okay, for the leaks, lease changes are going to be added next week. Oh, hold on a minute. Coming to us on April 18th this year. This was the week of 25W16A. It was actually a Friday, just a few days after the leash mechanics were initially added to Minecraft Java Edition. The first part of the leak establishes even more credibility as MUMA would prove to be 100% correct about the leash updates would pop up on Bedrock Edition only a small handful of days after the initial leak. Carrying on here in the summer drop, there will be new music. Well, well, well. I mean, you had to be living under a rock to not have heard that beautiful brand new music disc and like the four or five other tracks in the update. And this is where we send things over to the highly analytical photo analyzer 3000, the lab if you will, and possibly new horse mechanics such as swimming and changes to horse taming. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Very, very interesting. But don’t worry about it right now. We’re we’re going to come back to it in just a second because moving on to the next sentence. The new cape, the uncommon cape will be releasing next month. Obtainable by logging into bedrock with a popup message coming from the new item you have for logging in. uncommon cate. What do you mean? That moves us a little bit. No, I’m kidding. I’m kidding. We basically get the vibe of it. The name though it may be a little bit off. A popup inside of Bedrock Edition. You get it by signing in and it came next month. It’s all true. So, that brings us back to the other part of the leak here and possibly new horse mechanics such as swimming and changes to horse taming. Huh. A horse update, you say? and an update all about traveling in ways one has never traveled before. On top of a brand new improved leads and even easier saddle crafting recipes. Well, look here, chief. The idea of updating horses, especially this whole lame taming system, like it’s so unmodern and unintuitive. Like, what are we even doing? We just spam the horse, right? Well, with the context of everything that has been taking place inside of this update, but especially that brand new saddle crafting recipe, it seems like that one is probably true, too. Or at least was probably true. So, I’m recording this video right here before snapshot 25w21a or pre-release 1, whatever ends up happening. But at least as of the recording of this video, with the release of 25w28 this week, we’re releasing the final features from the year’s second drop. At least if we are to believe exactly what the developers have told us word by word themselves straight up from their mouths, the updates don’t. There will be no horse updates. But it’s weird because it totally feels like it would have fit in with this update. Maybe even so much so that it was actually cut from the update entirely. So, when it comes to MWA for today, where we just about wrapped things up, at this point, I think that MWM just got some incorrect information partially. Horses are for sure going to be expanded on though, so saddle changes are related in some way. And of course, new music. This drop is feature complete, though. Whoops. I guess I was wrong for now then. So, that’s the first part of our leak. There might actually be a whole lot more to it. But wham, if wham was doing so well, what in the world could have happened here when it comes to our horse updates for the happy gas summer drop update? After all, if you think about it, when it comes to our drop system, this current drop might just be our smallest drop yet. You can’t deny that this drop could definitely have benefited from at least a little bit more inside of it. Especially if this drop was meant to be some sort of transport update. My theory here with this one, and it’s just a theory, but maybe the horse updates really were meant to happen, but something happened and they got cut. Something was originally meant to go down with horses inside of this update, and I’m fully convinced of it. The first thing that makes me think this is, well, the saddle itself. Why in the world would we get a brand new saddle recipe? A recipe that in relation to everything else inside of this update is not really relevant at all. Like, the Happy Gas doesn’t use a saddle. Why would we get a new recipe if the saddle wasn’t originally meant to involve something inside of the update? On top of that, a lot of weirdness has been going down with the horse in relatively recent weeks. Take for example this article posted on minecraft.net all about flatworld presets being on bedrock in 1.21.8. One of the pictures right here showing off the presets. That horse, that’s a completely different horse. Uh, you what? Now, only Minecraft veterans will remember that this is actually the ancient horse model when the horse actually could open its mouth and had a big chunky hooves, a different animation, everything like that. They had since updated this model, but why they would use a screenshot that is literally like at least half a decade old? Absolutely. A little bit more on a change log for a brand new update. Does Mojang even play the game? And that’s not even the only weird thing going on with horses. Like we talked all about in this video right here, the horse, the leather horse armor specifically. It’s completely different on Minecraft Java in Bedrock. Yet, they choose to use this horse armor specifically in all of their change log screenshots, promo images for this update. You can find those pictures all over Minecraft.net, also their IG and probably Twitter, too. On top of that, actually on the low, I completely missed it, but inside of this update, we are getting a little bit of a horse update. 25W2A. this ancient bug. For the first time since Minecraft 1.9, actually before 1.9 even released, well, horses will no longer get temporarily stuck in their jump or bucking animation if they’re dismounted. For this one, we have a little bit of a video here. If you jump off of a horse and then jump off of a horse, it gets stuck doing this thing. You probably have seen it before if you use horses. From at least the looks of this bug, and who knows, maybe there are even more. The devs are definitely working on horses, at the least getting these things polished a little bit more. At the most, entirely brand new mechanics. So, in my eyes, all of these signs, they just about confirm it. This update with the flying, energetic happy gas was totally meant to revamp horses as well. It just didn’t get around to it. But why didn’t it get around to it? Well, realistically, that’s anyone’s guess. But real quick here, I’ve got a couple of theories of my own. After this, we’ll move on to even more horse leaks. Perhaps these horse updates were cut from this update because, well, maybe they’re a little bit trickier to implement. I mean, after all, if you think about it here, new horse mechanics with swimming and changes to horse taming. I mean, that’s some pretty big deal big league stuff. Horse mechanics in general feel like one of the more advanced systems in the game, especially if you want to bring horse breeding and their complex health and speed mechanics into play, too. In fact, that brings us perfectly to the next thing, the horse update. Perhaps it’s just a much larger undertaking. Perhaps maybe not only was this horse update a little bit trickier to implement than the devs thought, but it actually affects so much more. The horses are not the only thing affected by the horse’s current to taming system. Take for example this llama right here. If I’d like to tame this thing, I mean, the system is literally exactly the same. Perhaps the system is therefore a much larger undertaking than the devs really thought. or o maybe they just ran out of time. Whether you’re talking major updates or drop updates, Mojang is a sight of a corporation. In corporation, it like timeline. Considering how consistent to Mojang has been with an update right at the beginning of a summer, maybe Microsoft has a rule that there is an update due always the beginning of summer. And deadlines are deadlines. Updates got to come out. Unfinished stuff’s got to get cut. Best case scenario here for us, maybe perhaps these giant horse overhauls, they just fit better somewhere else, like in the next update. After all, if you think about it, like I said, horse taming affects so much more than just horses. If the horses are going to get more advanced mechanics, such as swimming and maybe new animations and everything like that. Well, really, that could be a whole drop in itself. Or perhaps I No, no, no. I don’t mean it. Come on. No, please. It can’t be, right? It’s definitely not this one. No. These new horse update leaks. We will see in time if they’re credible. But what if I told you we actually already know of even more horse update leaks? This one’s going to throw us all the way back to February of this year. Buckamin. Hi guys. Just saw Waddles video. Wait a second. Is that a shout out? Oh, you should know. So, a little earlier this year, of course, you will remember if you are a true Waddler, we talked all about some interesting Minecraft leaks and kind of clowned on them a little bit because I didn’t really think too many of them were actually true. Well, this is where I’d like to revisit Buck for just a second. And clearly a little bit of a inspo going on here when it comes to Roger Badger, the OG. Ah, but at the time, Buck was all about one thing and one thing only. This might be the main event of the year. And then the images that we got from Buck that still exists on Twitter, like you can find them, uh, had to do with crafting saddles, which kind of came true, and new horses with different blocks on top of horse shoes as well. Now, the saddle crafting recipe, we ended up getting real craftable saddles. The recipe here is entirely incorrect. We need one less leather and one less iron. Does the recipe being actually 100% correct here actually matter? I don’t know. You decide. Buckled it right though. The saddle is now craftable. The other items we can see here, horseshoes, which perhaps maybe these horseshoes are a new way in which horses will actually be able to cross water. Imagine being able to put boots on them and then all of a sudden they can float. We got a new block right here as well, which totally looks like a little bit of a placeholder. It’s basically mud brick 2.0. But for a little bit of a context on these buck leaks here, the images were from a month or so ago. So at this point, from sometime in January, the textures were definitely just placeholders. On top of this right here, how did you exactly get the info? Do you work there? While I can’t necessarily say a lot, this was a demo example of what a group had been working on for a while, most likely for the Q4 drop. That’s why the textures were not final. They were more so placeholders. So, we know how Minecraft teams work on these updates nowadays. They split off into separate groups with some groups working on one update while another group is working on another. Maybe somehow Buck had some early access to what would eventually become the gas drop. Except at that point in time, the horse mechanics were still being iterated on and tested. At that point in time, perhaps originally still planned to be inside of this update. Now, what were these horseshoes actually for exactly? Well, they were for adding buffs to horses. Huh. And now, if that doesn’t sound a whole lot like brand new horse mechanics such as swimming, maybe horseshoes that let your horse swim. Maybe the devs do away with this a little bit confusing jumping, different speed mechanics. Instead of confusing invisible mystery mechanics, what if perhaps they replaced the old mechanics with new horseshoes? The better the shoe, the faster the speed, almost like horse armor.
