And by understand how it works, I figured out how to implement it and then realized there’s very few ways to actually adjust it, which is kind of frustrating without coding. And I don’t know how to do that. Seven legs. What’s going on? But then I also don’t know how to adjust the flashes depending on how dark it is, too, which is a problem. Like uh the Niagara effects, I built them. That was my first time seeing them at night and they were much brighter. Does the Niagara system fall? Oh my god. It’s It’s getting so like the the part that’s exciting for me is that like I’m actually making the thing that I want to make and I’m and I’m learning and yeah, I’m harassing poor innocent people often on how to uh how to do things, but I am I’m still also learning. Um, it’s all Unreal Engine is all about blueprints, which apparently many people aren’t very familiar with blueprints and then they get into Unreal Engine and then struggle to keep their job because they don’t know blueprints, which like part of it is like super duper helpful, but a lot of it doesn’t make any sense. Use it a lot for stuff related to HTML and JavaScript. I they have stuff for two. So like it’s crazy because like the way everything works is this is what I have. I currently have dreams about this cuz it’s not it’s not code, right? It’s all blueprints. So Oh, this is a bad example. This is a good example. This it’s all it’s all blueprints and then a table joint. Yeah. So like but then also it’s kind of confusing on how things like connect to each other cuz like you name something and then the engine just like recognizes what you name and then you can link things together. But like it’s like how does it link together? And it’s like oh it just recognizes my the name that I have for things. But like literally if we go into like each of these things like each of these is just tons and ton like we have tons of functions and each of these do various different things. So it’s uh it’s less coding and more spiderw webs. So you can create new behaviors or you just uh choosing existing ones. You can create new behaviors and it’s all through blueprints. Like if you right click, you have all of these different options. And like if I wanted to capture audio for something, then we could do that. And it’s all about figuring out exactly how everything connects together. Like all these are and you promote to variables. It’s all very very confusing, but also makes a lot of sense once you start figuring out the system. Oh god. Like this one is for checking how much energy I have. And so this is literally a check for my character for how much energy that my character currently has and that I can’t attack unless I have that much energy. But like where in this does it say like hey like yeah this is how much energy I have. Sprint energy consumption. And you got to figure out basically you just like touch all the things and then you go to chat GPT and it’s like hey what does this do and then it tells you what it does and it’s like okay I understand that. Yeah. So we’ve made we’ve made some decent progress. I should uh toy around with it and see what it’s like. I mean that’s pretty much what I did. Moonshine flex. But this I’m proud of cuz I had to figure out the Niagara system to implement this today. See? Far less far less oppressively bright during the day, but still pretty bad. Yeah, it’s all insects. It It is all insects. And like one day I I guarantee some human out there is going to mess with the Cortiseps fungus and create something that actually makes zombies possible. Not in the way that they’re portrayed in like all of cinema today. Jeremy Johnson because things still die control us by not getting worms or for agible. Like you can’t realize you’ll have to get those if you want perfection.
