The Map Atlases Mod makes vanilla maps way better #minecraft #minecraftmods

minecraft’s vanilla mapping system is okay I guess it’s great that you’re able to map out your world onto a wall or something but handling all your maps in your inventory can quickly get out of hand and once you leave a map’s boundary you have to switch to a whole other map just to keep going this mod fixes all of that map atlases gives you one book that just connects all the maps together it’s crafted using a book slime or honey and a map item and can be kept in its own inventory slot on the player as long as the map atlas is in your inventory you can press the M keybind to open the world map and see all your maps together functionally this atlas feels like how I’d always wished default Minecraft maps could work using the ctography table we can load empty maps into the atlas and now wherever we go it’ll just fill in the grid automatically you can even add markers for places you want to remember using this pin icon you can also use this shears icon to cut a map from the atlas so that you have the original vanilla item which you can place back into the atlas using the ctography table or just hold on to it
