terraria is fantastic but it has one big issue that many veterans of the game overlook it’s way too inaccessible for new players imagine you’re brand new to the game and you just created your first world there’s no quest no story no clear goal in sight and all you have is very basic equipment you have no idea what you’re meant to do or where you’re meant to go on top of this the only NPC to help you out is the guide who only provides very surface level advice often in very cryptic ways many new players are forced to check the Terraria wiki constantly to make progress which is very tedious and puts a lot of people off i know countless people who have tried to get into Terraria and lots of them eventually gave up because they could never find out what to do on their own i think it would be great if the developers of Terraria decided to implement something new in order to make this game more accessible for new players i would love to hear what you think they should do to fix this problem

Terraria’s biggest flaw is pretty clear; it’s not accessible for new players at all.
