Building a Simple House in Minecraft

you don’t have to be the best builder ever to make a cool house in Minecraft i’m going through the process of transforming this village so let’s work through designing a house together starting with a simple light gray base it is a diagonal but don’t be scared it’s a box that just steps back every three blocks by one but you could build it the same way as a normal rectangular house i’m going for a bright and cheery Mediterranean theme something like you’d see on the coast of Italy so for this house I wanted to make it green using mossy cobblestone moss green concrete powder and a tiny bit of tough and pale moss to bring all of the walls together from here I’m just throwing on a roof made out of slabs stepping up to the top with brick and here you can see the completed build with yellow bamboo windows in for even more color a simple doorway and a sign out front for a name i took the same style and applied it in a bunch of different colors to the foundations around and we have a full

  1. I doubt you’ll see this but I wish we had mossy variants for more blocks, imagine mossy sandstone or mossy mud bricks or even better a lichen covered deep slate or a sculk covered deep slate but it be one block and didn’t glow

  2. Biggest issue with that style is that it is in fact not a diagonal building, because both end sides are still in a 90° angle! You absolutely have to build the end sides at an angle as well, otherwise what you get is not really immersive.
