I Made 10,000,000 Gold Without Ever Leaving The Farm in Stardew Valley

in Stardw Valley gold is everything but what if I told you I made 10 million gold without ever stepping foot off the farm the rules were simple i cannot ever by any means leave the farm and obviously the goal is to make a total of 10 million gold and in all honesty this was a giant waste of time but somehow I managed it in this video I’ll break down exactly how I pulled it off and the strategies and challenges I faced over the 11 in-game years of playing of course what farm type I chose was going to be the first hurdle of the challenge stardw Valley has eight different farm types each with their own unique features i first considered the new Meadowlands farm new to the 1.6 update as it comes with two chickens providing me with eggs which were simply unobtainable in any other farm types but unfortunately I would need some method of getting both copper and iron to get anywhere close to finishing this challenge so that really only left two viable options the four corners farm and the hilltop farm looking at both the hilltop farm offered the largest quarry to access a bunch of resources early on and compared to the smaller one on the four corners farm this one looked the better but the hilltop farm doesn’t have a lot of space to grow crops on which would make it very difficult to reach that 10 million gold however one feature of the four corners farm made it the perfect one for this type of challenge the top left quadrant can actually spawn a unique type of weed that can give guaranteed mix seeds and since I couldn’t buy any seed packets having this feature would be essential to reach that goal so that’s the one I chose it started the same as any other playthrough i cleared an area and planted and watered my parsnips and I made sure to begin clearing out the small quarry for early stone and copper i began clearing out the top left area of the farm to allow for as many fibers to spread as possible hoping to harvest them all in the summer on the 25th of spring I made a makeshift tree farm and constructed my first tapper to begin collecting oak resin which I’ll be needing a bunch of for kegs later down the line by the end of the first spring I had completely cleared out the entire farm leaving only fibers to spread around the reason I was waiting for summer to roll around was so I can allow even more weeds to spawn in the new season after harvesting them all I received 54 mixed seeds and nine mixed flower seeds which was a helpful new feature in the 1.6 update another reason I waited until the summer to plant rather than in the first spring was mixed seeds can only produce cauliflowers parsnips and potatoes in the spring which are only one harvest compared to the summer’s mixed seeds which can get corn and pepper which yield multiple times meaning more crops and more farming experience and what was even better is that the corn will actually carry over into the fall season i did have a lot of sap to make some basic quality fertilizer but since I wouldn’t be shipping these crops off there was really no need to increase the quality of them and it doesn’t provide any extra farming experience anyway the rest of the season was fairly repetitive filled with watering my crops and harvesting any wheat radishes corn and peppers which I all stored in the chest as shipping them off would pretty much be a waste of time right now on the 6th of summer I received my first owl statue of many throughout the video and on the 9th I collected some sunflowers which had the chance to drop the same seeds once collected meaning if I remained lucky I could continue to plant them even into the full season on the 16th of summer it was the green rain event which will be the most useful day of the year as it fills the farm with weeds and with weeds means more mixed seeds for the fall in the end I collected 16 mixed seeds and 16 mixed flower seeds alongside 140 pieces of moss before the end of the first summer I managed to reach foraging level five and considering I couldn’t do much foraging I chose the forester giving me 25% more wood i did witness Mr key drop some mystery boxes around the place but since I couldn’t visit Clint they would actually be completely useless i wasn’t on a lot of gold but I did start to turn my produce into jelly in the meantime heading into fall all the peppers and other crops had died but both the sunflowers and corn had stayed i began clearing out any new debris that had formed and once again cleared out the top left area for fibers to start growing once again on the 7th of fall I made up one more tapper and I made it to level six foraging which unlocked the lightning rod which would unfortunately be unobtainable due to it needing refined quartz and a batwing though the batwing was technically possible if I selected for monsters to spawn on the farm but for the refined quartz I researched super hard to find any method to actually get a piece but it was actually impossible without leaving the closest I ever got to a result was that you can actually receive trash from the cat then you could put the broken glasses into recycling machine which were able to turn it into refined quartz but unfortunately it wouldn’t all be perfect as you actually need to reach fishing level four to get it making it completely impossible as there is no way to obtain the fishing rod throughout fall I stuck to the normal chores of watering harvesting and then clearing more debris which does take us to the winter which would be over very quickly however as I couldn’t grow anything so the entire season was spent chopping trees and mining from the quarry every so often i did grow some powder melons however but since they were only found in dig spots it wasn’t going to be a sustainable thing to keep doing on the 12th of winter I made it to mining level four which would allow me to transmute copper bars into iron bars and that would also mean that iron nodes could now spawn inside the quarry by the end of the winter I had 16,000 gold from all the jelly and also made up my first sprinkler the normal sprinkler will unfortunately be the only one I can actually make as quality ones require refined quartz which we’ve only just mentioned and the Aridium one required battery packs and aridium bars which again were technically possible through the Aridium bats but the odds would be too high to even bother trying to get it so straight on to year two where I found my second owl statue and I planted a few carrot seeds I’d collected and once again I cleared more debris to make way for weeds to spread on the second day I expanded the tree farm and once summer had arrived I had three sprinklers and 35 mix seeds and five flower seeds to grow which I planted leaving room for more sprinklers to go i chose to prioritize making sprinklers over kegs at the moment as it would make my life much easier going ahead and in all honesty I was nowhere near making 10 million gold so making kegs right now wouldn’t really be much use the summer was fairly slow doing the same chores but I did welcome the arrival of the green rain event on the 16th which gave me 21 mixed seeds and 16 mixed flower seeds i did reach farming level eight which unlocked the crafting recipe for the kegs and I also found my first strange alien capsule the four was spent repeating the same old chores again and I did manage to reach mining level five giving me one more ore per vein I mined on the 20th a man named Demetrius arrived at my door and asked me whether to fill my cave with mushrooms or bats i chose to fill it with mushrooms as it comes with a free dehydrator since the 1.6 update which can be useful I guess but in all honesty either one wasn’t really too useful and the entire rest of the second winter was spent mining and expanding the sprinklers at the end of the year the ghost of my grandfather revisited the farm to mention how it hasn’t really changed much since he was last here resulting in only one candle i wasn’t really too fussed about this as my only goal was to make gold going into the third year I was more determined than ever to start only using sprinklers for my crops now which would save me so much time in the long run watering each one individually there really wasn’t much to cover this year but as we moved through the seasons my fields were slowly growing in the number of sprinklers but then on the 14th of fall I finally reached farming level 9 which unlocked the seed maker which would open up this challenge completely the only issue was is it required a gold bar to make which I could only get by reaching mining level seven which would unlock the crafting recipe to allow me to transmute iron bars into gold bars mining level seven was also the level where gold nodes could spawn inside the quarry but of course reaching mining level seven was going to be an absolute pain as the amount of rocks I could mine each day was so little the grind to mining level seven was definitely the worst part of the entire challenge in the fourth year I kept up with the normal chores the main obstacle of the challenge now was reaching mining level 7 so most of the time was spent clearing out the quarry and it was nice to see some frozen geode nodes here which cannot be opened again but do provide a nice bit of experience by the summer you can see the field slowly expanding and I made it part of my daily routine to head up to the top left quadrant to harvest the special weeds which grew there to guarantee some mix seeds into the fall season was where I had nearly my entire farmland filled with sprinklers and thanks to the green rain event in the summer I had a load more mixed seeds to plant on the 9th of fall I finally made it to farming level 10 which allowed me to choose the artisan perk which meant all of my artisan goods would now sell for 40% more and to be honest was just a no-brainer compared to the agriculturalist this meant the next morning I could ship off all the artisan goods I had saved up and made over 200,000 gold there was no reason for me to keep my artisan goods anymore so you’ll start to see the gold total slowly crawl up throughout the video for the rest of the year I had found one more hour statue and finally reached level seven mining on the 4th of winter this meant the entire challenge would now open up i immediately made myself some gold bars and began turning all of my crops I had saved up into seed packets the main reason I was doing this wasn’t just to plant them however if you didn’t know there is a 0.5% chance that a crop that you put into the seed maker will actually turn into an ancient seed which does seem quite low and it was after spending a few days turning over 600 crops I had into seed packets I only managed to get a single one which was disappointing but to be honest I was just glad I had one this was all the seed packets it took just to find a single ancient seed and to be honest now I finally had some momentum maybe it was just because I’d gotten the hardest part of the challenge over and done with so in spring I planted my first ancient seed as well as a load of spring seeds which I actually left fully grown this actually helped me however as on the 14th of spring I was visited by the crop fairy and she could fully grow the only crop on the farm that wasn’t finished the ancient fruit so that was quite lucky this meant I could harvest it straight away the next morning and turn it back into more seeds by the fall season I had a load of ancient fruits growing and also fields full of corn which I was preserving into jelly every now and then I would visit the quarry for even more iron and copper to make some kegs and of course the winter would wither them all and by spring of year 7 I had 87 ancient seeds to plant and decided to solely focus on making kegs and ancient fruit as growing any other crops right now would be pretty much useless this would mean however the entire rest of the farm would fall to ruin on the 1st of summer I had a giant ancient fruit harvest which I could begin turning into ancient fruit wine and so began the same routine until the end every week I would wake up and harvest more ancient fruit then collect another batch of ancient fruit wine then keg another batch of ancient fruit i wish I could say it was more interesting but on summer 22nd I found my fourth hour statue and by spring of year 8 I had 128 ancient fruits plant and over 300 spare inside the chests all waiting to be turned into that wine of course really the only thing stopping my progress was kegs at the moment which I couldn’t really make a lot of since the quarry would only give a few copper and iron nodes every single week so I repeated the same method until spring 9 where I hit the 1 million gold mark and by the second of fall I had reached the 2 million gold mark and it was at this point I was actually running out of wood to make kegs as each keg takes 30 pieces of wood to make which meant I had to tear down the old tree farm i was back to the same old routine in year 9 and I made it all the way to 3.5 million gold in the spring and then by the end of the year I was on 5.6 million gold and then the exact same thing for yet another year with the only interesting thing being an asteroid that seemed to get very close to destroying my kegs and I ended the 10th year on 9.2 million gold this meant that finally on day 22 of summer year 11 I reached the 10 million gold mark without ever leaving the farm after recording this video and looking back on things I really did enjoy most of the challenge having to push your knowledge to its absolute maximum although I don’t really want to harvest another batch of ancient fruit ever again this attempt did take over 18 hours in total and I’m sure there would have been things I could have improved on to bring down this time but I really did research heavy before attempting this to find the best possible path of course I’m sure the town’s folk of Pelican Town must have been very confused as only a few members of the town actually ever visited the farm after being in the valley for over a decade it made me wonder maybe I’m like their equivalent to Bigfoot most of them never saw me and maybe I’m just a rumor but at the end of the day who’s the
