New Pals Analysis – 4 DAYS to Tides of Terraria

hey what’s up guys raids here hope you guys are doing well we’ve got another update from Bucky on XT Twitter and it is a very very short teaser here with four days left until Tides of Terraria but the notable part of this update honestly there’s more info on this update than the animated trailer it’s some new pals being shown and indication on what typing they are so it’s just a looping animation here i’m going to be pausing it so we get a better look let’s go back to the start of the animation here so we’ve got Octopus girl here obviously a water/ dark pal pretty obvious here i think you guys already knew about this one so more water typing is good presumably water dark right most likely she’s going to be dark or maybe she’s plain water we don’t know here we’ve got what looks to be an ice uh an ice fish ice water maybe uh or maybe just ice doesn’t look like it’s going to be a very strong combat pal typically the very strong combat pals have mean models and slightly larger uh hit boxes but uh this could be some just just me being crazy here but doesn’t look like it’s going to be a relevant raid pal just going to be a utility pal moving on here uh we’ve got a grass pal uh so obviously grass pal presumably grass ground looks like almost a I don’t know it’s kind of kind of hard to say if it’s going to be ground grass but looks like at least grass and it’s like a grass bird so presumably grass normal or grass ground or just straight up grass uh this could be an attacker this could be definitely could be an attacker uh but the meat of this video and what I really wanted to talk about is uh moving on here so let it play for a bit okay another watering pal uh not don’t think she’s going to be ice i think she’s just going to be water or maybe water ice a lot of water ice ones so here this is a big one that what I want to talk about look at this model this model looks like it’s definitely going to be a mean mean pal uh typically the the designers are really good about conveying what the pal’s intended purposes is supposed to be like if you take a look at all the strong raid pals they all have a very detailed uh intimidating model and this one is no exception check out check out this attacker uh presumably water ice or just water but I’m I really hope it’s water ice that would be awesome we really need a strong water ice attacker like an upgrade to pen king uh no clue who this guy is tentacle guy but he’s launching a very a knee water attack by the way which you haven’t seen before so this is pretty good uh pretty good to see here really cool looking model amazing looking attacker here and then the animation just loops but the very end here let’s focus on this guy and let’s let the particle effects clear out very strong water attacker uh being revealed here this is a good shot at him um no clue what its name is or what it looks like but it looks like a good hitbox looks like it’s maybe slithers or floats slightly above the above the ground look at this model look at this this looks spectacular this looks amazing like well done this is my favorite one so far um this looks like an amazing water attacker or water ice attacker look at this glorious model well done pocket pair this is what we want to see this doesn’t remind me of any other franchise this looks like a completely unique look from what I know very awesome um we were even talking over on the Pocket Pair Discord that this could be a new legendary like a water legendary looks amazing i think we had another screenshot of this guy in the dark like a dark screenshot you couldn’t really see see the details excuse me but here he looks amazing so get ready for the update guys four days left i’ll be providing you any updates that I see and I have video coming on what makes a raid pal good which is going to apply now and into the future also so uh thank you for tuning into this update with me i will keep you guys updated as best I can and I will definitely be giving you my updates when the uh actual update launches including the raids i will be be trying to clear everything as fast as possible and showing you guys on video how I did it at default settings so tune in to that uh that’s going to be on um Tuesday night very late at Tuesday night i’ll be staying up for the release on Wednesday the 25th the morning so uh going from the Tuesday 24th to Wednesday 25th uh I’ll be on and I will be uh giving you that guys the most updated content uh starting with raids i’m going to be rushing to raids first so uh as always give me guys your feedback or your comments i’d love to hear your thoughts on this content and uh thank you for watching i will see you on the next one
