mistakes beginners make in Terraria many players on their first playthrough will use the Knight’s Edge against the Wall of Flesh this is actually a mistake for one simple reason the Sunfury the Sunfury is clearly the superior choice of weapon against the Wall of Flesh due to its superior base damage crit chance and onfire debuff the Sun Fury is also much easier to obtain compared to the Knight’s Edge as it can be found in shadow chests in the underworld with a 20% chance of spawning unlike the Knight’s Edge which requires hours of farming for other weapons i mean take a look at this crafting tree so next time you face the wall of flesh use the sun fury and you’ll have a much easier time getting to hard mode

Smh use the zombie breaker for WoF. 130 damage ranged melee
muramasa being rng from the few dungeon chests also makes nights edge just impossible to get sometimes, but there's always a ton of shadow chests you're basically guaranteed a sunfury
The Sunfury is actually powerful enough to use against the mechanical bosses (especially the twins) so make sure to hold on to it!!
Although make sure you use the sunfury only in daytime since it only works when the sun is up
I said this back when 1.4.1 dropped, it's been the better weapon since no doubt

Yes but zenith and terra blade are needed for the rest of the game ( you will die without them )

i personally desagree, the nigh's edge can get better dps if you hit 2 parts at once and can shield you from the hungry's, is easier to use and not that hard to get in the average meelee playthrough.
You are probably crafting the blade of grass for how good it is early game, the volcano you will get in the process of getting molten armor, the evil biome sword i dont even think i need to explain, and muramasa is 90% of the time the first chest you find in the dungeon. I actually think that if you are playing meelee it is easier to get the Night's Edge than it is to get the Sunfury
Do not focus on damage alone because the nights edge is capable of hitting multiple heads on the wall of flesh and hits multiple times per swing. Plus, the sunfury requires shadow keys, which are obtained in literally the same way as the murasama (a component for the night's edge) plus its not even that hard to get the other 4 swords for the nights edge unless you have a skill issue XD
does the on fire debuff even work on WoF
