Beating Terraria Master Mode with ONLY “Other” Magic Weapons

looking through the sub classes there are four options others which would be a terrible challenge fine I’ll do it terraria has many magic weapons but only a select few of them don’t fall under any category and are just shoved into the other section on the wiki so today’s video I’m going to use only those weapons and you may notice that the only preh hard mode weapon I can use is the Crimson Rod normally only used as a support weapon but today I’m going to have to use that as my main and only weapon in preh hard mode to get to the fun and exciting part of hard mode where I can use these awesome weapons that I’m really excited to use and we can see if I can beat the game with these weapons so to start out obviously I don’t have a weapon i have to throw away my copper shortsord all I have is an axe and a pickaxe and while I’m hitting some trees a gold squirrel falls out of a tree i just started there is no way I can capture this squirrel and it’s going to despawn if I even leave the screen so I did what I had to do if I can’t have him no one can i spawn to the left until I died by a vulture the sooner I can find the crimson the sooner I can get my weapon after exploring through the entire ice biome and some planes I do finally make it to the crimson now this is guaranteed to have some crimson hearts i just hope that we get the crimson rod from them since I don’t have a weapon I have to traverse my way very carefully around these enemies and then dig a tunnel towards the cave and I use some bombs to break some crimain and I have to do this ridiculous play of just building blocks cuz these enemies will very easily kill me on master mode but eventually I just make a run for it i’m going for it he’s crazy what’s he doing he could die any second i block in a spider and I’ve made it to the main big cave scale my way down and I bomb my first Crimson Heart which drops obviously the Undertaker that one’s guaranteed the second one I break gives me a menacing panic necklace which is not what I wanted and now that means I’m going to have to spawn the brain of Cthulhu on this third one but I brewed up a plan i can set it up so I can throw a bomb to break this bottom heart and then go and break the left heart and then maybe if the brain hasn’t killed me already I can go down and grab the other loot so I throw my bomb to break the heart i smash the heart with a hammer and I just get the crimson rod from that and instantly die to the brain but we got the Crimson Rod and I can’t really use it because it costs 30 mana to cast it so I collect some fallen stars before it turns daytime giving me two mana stars and now I can cast it and do some damage the problem is though I can only summon one cloud at a time and it is not good at killing anything like for example slimes they just jump through it how on earth am I ever going to beat the wall of flesh with this weapon i head into a cave to get some oes and hopefully some good loot i do get a web slinger which is pretty cool the ferry leads me to an underground house and it has a rigged slime statue so I use this time to farm some gel i do manage to get some Hermes boots and now I decide to just go straight to the jungle the funny thing with mage is possibly the best mage set is pre-boss all you need is some jungle loot and you got yourself some great jungle armor so why not just go for that now i like block myself in and lure in the enemies so that they’re under my rain but honestly it wasn’t even that hard it actually seemed easier than normal and now that I have the stingers and vines all I need is some jungle spores so I start digging around for them until I have all that I need to make a full set of jungle armor and with that all I really need is a double jump and some life crystals so the perfect place to go is the snow biome the blizzard in a bottle is a great double jump it takes me a long time to find one but I do eventually get it and I’m almost at full health as well so we’re looking really good and now I decided to do something a little reckless obviously this is not needed i could technically go straight for the wall of flesh now all of the bosses in preh hard mode except for the wall of flesh are not mandatory but that’s not as fun i do want to fight the eye and see if I can beat it and with this feather fall potion and the strats that I’m doing bleeding the eye into the rain it’s actually doing not terrible damage it’s surprisingly better than I thought but I do have to really utilize that vertical mobility as the rain is vertical but yeah the damage is surprisingly good it kills the servants easily and not before long he’s in second phase dashing around at me this makes it quite a bit harder he’s very aggressive which makes it pretty hard to lead him under the rain especially when he’s dashing around i’m taking some big damage here i don’t know if I can keep this up forever the feather fall is obviously helping a ton i’ve got him under 1,000 health it’s looking pretty good i’ve got a heal coming up and there we are i popped the heal on only 30 health left but he’s dashing so much sideways that I just can’t do damage he gets down to under 30 health and he kills me i can’t believe I choked that it was literally like one maybe two shot with that L over my head i headed into the underground desert getting a bar statue maybe that extra bit of defense will help turns out no I did worse that time it was at 117 health which is a good attempt let’s give it another try i get him to second phase barely getting hit and apparently I’ve been blessed this day because a fallen star hits directly onto the eye of Cthulhu making this fight a lot easier i can now play more aggressively leading it into the rain he’s really low now dashing around and just like that easily defeated but you know what the fallen star thing that was cheap i don’t want the universe to grant me a win i want to do it myself so I fight him again and this time once again it’s going very smoothly he gets a second phase and a star almost hits him again no no no i will not allow that i’m fighting him legit this time but yeah it’s just more manipulating where the eye is going so that it is falling under the rain we’re doing it really effectively this time around lots of health left in the tank as well oh my goodness just look at those moves it’s so clean this guy is like a true pro gamer oh and just like that on 270 something health the eye of Cthulhu defeated i then use a grab potion and loot some skylakes and the gold squirrel came back so now I can sell it to the black market and at this point I hadn’t had a goblin army i really want the goblin tinkerer so I sleep on the outer third of the map hoping to either craft the goblin battle standard or one naturally occurs and that next morning one does naturally occur now this was not easy it took ages to kill these goblins with a single crimson rod but what I could do was stand on my upper platforms and how the AI works is if I stand underneath the crimson rod the enemies will flock to underneath me which means they can take some big damage from the crimson rod slowly but surely the progress meter is shortening there’s not much else to say it’s really just slapping down the crimson rod standing underneath it and waiting for enemies to die and dodging arrows and killing off the sorcerers when they appear and by the time I’ve defeated the goblin army it’s already night time and with the Goblin Tinker I can now make some Frost Spark booties and a white horseshoe balloon so we got good mobility and with my new crafted accessories I can go to the Shimmer and get my desired reforges because we’re going to need all the help we can get it’s then a blood moon so I farm these enemies hoping for a shark tooth necklace maybe that’ll make us do a bit more damage but unfortunately we don’t even get it what’s that slime rain of course that big slime ball wants to mess with me if I can beat the eye of Cthulhu I can surely beat him now just like a teenager’s first relationship manipulation is key i need to manipulate the king slime under the rain to do maximum damage which isn’t too hard i can drop below my platform to force the king slime to drop with me and then just go back up on the platform i decided to just start spamming my rod at one point which does somewhat work although there is a bit of a delay before the rain actually starts so I do have to lead it in front of the king slime which isn’t too hard to do and yeah overall pretty dang easy and the king slime is pretty small on master mode and that’s two bosses defeated so now it’s time to go back to the crimson cave where this all started for the rematch of the brain of Cthulhu there is a spider in the arena so I do want to take care of that which I do pretty promptly and surprisingly if I lead the creepers into the crimson rod it does decent damage it’s chipping them down they’re definitely dying this is definitely a weapon i mean look at that we just destroyed multiple one after the other and just like that all the creepers are defeated but that wasn’t the hard part the hard part is the brain when it’s only one of them it’s not too hard i am leading it into the rain when I can and it’s doing okay damage now luckily for me the brain actually has the least amount of health of any boss if you’re not including the creepers and I can still see which brain is which right now which makes it doable i also have a high amount of defense at this point it is so opaque that I’m just kind of guessing and trying to line up all of the brains with the rain so that it’s definitely getting hit and it was working pretty consistently this was surprisingly working really well and with well over 200 health left we’ve defeated the brain and now I’m going to try and beat Skeletron this one I’m really not sure about because in expert mode and above his defense is so high until those hands are destroyed so I have to destroy those hands first with rain there is almost nothing I get from this though the only real benefit would be getting a shadow key so that I can open shadow chest so that I can get like life force and heart reach potions the damage is okay to the hands luckily the hands don’t have too much health so they are whittling down but we’re already a good portion through the night and have barely dented it i keep moving around trying to hit these tiny hands with the rain this is not looking good i still have to destroy the skull eventually one of the hands have been destroyed but this last one is really stubborn i just can’t destroy it but at 2:30 a.m I finally destroyed both the hands and it’s just the skull but the skull won’t stay under the rain it’s swerving around it won’t get hit unless it’s spinning and the spinning is so fast that I just don’t get much time so yeah this is definitely not looking possible it gets to 4:30 a.m and he just insta kills me so I’m thinking that’s going to be a boss skip i don’t need to fight that and you know what other bosses I don’t gain anything from the queen bee or deerclops so let’s just go straight for the wall of flesh let’s see if it’s even possible oh gosh I hope it’s possible now one problem I had when building my wall of flesh bridge were the amount of enemies bombarding me the hell enemies are so hard to kill with a crimson rod the bat AI is atrocious it is so hard to freaking kill these things cuz by the time I’ve killed one another comes along and then and then a demon comes along and that has even worse AI so what I decided to do was fish at a sky lake for damsel fish to make a calming potion to reduce spawn rates another blood moon happens and I am able to get a shark tooth necklace this time around and I do make some peace candles that I can lay on my bridge i don’t have much so this won’t help too much and I get to work with my builder potion just building the platform as long as I can utilizing any little openings where I can actually build without getting killed the demons seriously they were the bane of my existence like they’d start attacking me and then just back off how am I supposed to kill those things with my crimson rod some of the times I just block them off cuz it was easier and to cut a really long story short eventually I had quite a big bridge and I spawned in the wall of flesh let’s give it a shot we might as well and a demon spawned so that’s freaking great this thing is the most annoying thing to kill so I have to prioritize this before I can do any damage to the wall luckily he didn’t shoot too many projectiles and I did end up killing it and now I can focus on the wall now the nice thing about the crimson rod and what made me think that this may be possible is that I can shoot it through enemies i can shoot it through the hungry and it’ll go straight to the wall do direct damage i don’t even have to worry about the hungry and honestly the damage it’s not awful when I get a cloud on them it does chip it down the annoying thing though is this is a stationary weapon so I have to keep recasting it but I have to cast it in front of the wall because it has travel time and the wall is a moving object but what did start to become a menace were these leeches the wall of flesh was spawning these leeches in and I didn’t have a really easy way to take care of them if I can predict their movements and they’re underneath the rain it does some good damage but yeah this was a really long fight it was taking forever but it seems possible the only problem is the wall of flesh fight gets harder as it goes along we’re at about a quarter health now it’s speeding up there are more leeches but uh-oh I’ve run out of bridge space so now I’m working with the cold hard terrain i don’t have any water walking i do pop an obsidian skin but if I land in the lava I’m going to be slowed down and we’re going to be in trouble these leeches are definitely a problem right now they do about 20 damage which definitely isn’t nothing and what really messes me up is I do enough damage to one of the hungries that it detaches and it starts chomping away at my body and a leech knocks me back into the hungrys and I’m instantly dead at that point we got really close there it had under a couple thousand health left because I ran out of bridge space i extend it some more and I’ve now extended it to the end of the world now that wall of flesh fight felt a bit cursed because I was doing it right to left so now we’re going to do it left to right all you right to left haters this is for you so the first start of the fight it’s easy there’s really no issues it does take ages i am using a lot of bridge space but that’s fine we do have a lot of it i did make a large world just to be safe and I’m just being as consistent as I can placing the crimson rod at the right distance so that the rain will fall down and hit them it’s really just so repetitive i am dodging the lasers as they come out as good as I can but these leeches man they’re so annoying they hit me pretty hard get me under 100 health now I’m running i’m hoping I can just do some regen i get a heal off these leeches though leave me alone and just like that because of the leeches I’m dead nothing else to do but to try again but once again the leeches are just such an issue i get into this cramped corner and the hungry just eat away at me i try it again this time getting it to its lowest health ever we’re at under 1,000 health but I’m so low i do get a dodge but I’m just getting knocked around like crazy and I get it to 346 health left that was so close we do another attempt and unfortunately I run out of bridge space the wall is so low at this point though and I get it even lower than last time another attempt got it down to 880 health this time I’m making sure to actually kill the leeches i do get stuck in a house at one point which unfortunately does chip off a lot of my health this was a really good run up until that point but yeah as the leeches come out I’m making sure to kill them the main issue with them is their knock back but as long as I kill them off we’re fine and then a voodoo demon spawns in i don’t get hit by one of the sights and I’m just hoping that it gets stuck on a house and it can’t follow me i’m at like full health now which is fantastic i douse myself in honey just to make sure I get more health regeneration the thing is the only time limit on the wall of flesh is the world size so I can take time just to breathe at just over 1,000 health I douse myself in honey again i grapple to some blocks above to make sure that I’m dodging those lasers now there are quite a lot of leeches but at this point I think I can just go straight for the wall i have a heal in the bag this is looking fantastic as long as I don’t get knocked into the wall and lose all my health I’m keeping my distance it’s speeding up so much it only has a couple hundred health left it has caught up to me at this point but luckily I do a big dodge spawn in a couple more blood rain clouds and just like that the wall of flesh has been defeated with only a crimson rod let’s go so now that we’ve beaten that we’re in hard mode and compared to before there are so many weapon choices for us now one that I can get off rip since it is raining right now is a Nimbus rod that’s right i can get the upgraded cloud so I start farming some Nimbuses hoping to get it and it stops raining i I didn’t get it but I sleep until it rains again and I didn’t get it but it starts raining again and this time I do get the Nimbus rod and oh my gosh this is so much better than the crimson rod especially since I can spawn two clouds now with a weapon in hand I go and smash some crimson altars and while I’m down underground I find the wizard the wizard sells the ice rod which usually is a utility item but it is a weapon and it is allowed and it’s also 75 gold which is well over my budget so what’s a way that I can get a lot of money quick to afford my ice rod oh nothing shady or anything i just lured innocent looking chess into a dark room beat them senseless and took all their money so now I can easily afford the ice rod which means we have a support weapon as our Nimbus rod and a main weapon as our ice rod things are definitely looking up but there is something else I can gain from mimics i start beating one with my ice rod and uh yeah this thing is a little underwhelming but it dropped the mythical magic dagger it’s mythical already and this is a weapon I can use it’s considered an other magic weapon and this is essentially just a better version of the ice rod it shoots faster does more damage pierces and doesn’t leave behind a bunch of ice blocks i then head over to the dungeon and challenge a really hard boss from before Skeletron this time I’m making quick and easy work of him his hands are destroyed very easily with the magic dagger and once his hands are destroyed the skull is taking huge damage and Bob’s your uncle we’ve defeated Skeletron super easy how did I even struggle with that before i finished off my hard mode or grind opting to actually shimmer my titanium into adamantite and making a full set of Adamanti armor there’s a lot of stuff to do in early hard mode so buckle up next we’re going to the underground jungle because I saw a marble biome in here i can kill a Medusa and there’s a low chance that it’ll drop a Medusa head unfortunately I accidentally activate a hallowed mimic but there is a Medusa here i quickly kill it and the first one I kill drops a Medusa head that’s a 4% drop rate so you know what i’ll take that any day of the week is it any good i I don’t know i don’t think I’ve ever used it i spawn in a blood moon because I can get the bloodthorn and I do kind of want it it’s a cool weapon i’ve never really used it the bloodthorn drops from the Heo Goblin Shark this thing is not easy i tried using the Medusa head on it its range isn’t great its damage also isn’t great and I’m dead before I know it the blood moon’s over so that’s it i mean I only had one bloody tier that was my only chance i’m moving on i then crafted some unholy water i don’t use this much but I do want a corrupt desert so that I can get desert spirits to spawn i spent a long time here just waiting for desert spirits to spawn what I want to drop only drops 2.5% of the time so on average I’m going to have to kill 40 of these at least and what’s really annoying is I do get the Jyn’s curse vanity multiple times which is a 3.25% chance of dropping bro I got a freaking corruption key on a crimson world before I got it i just want Oh and there it is now this in itself isn’t a weapon i have to wait for a sandstorm to even make the weapon so in the meantime I’m going to farm some hallowed enemies and some goblin scouts and then the destroyer spawns randomly i go to the ocean just to make sure none of my NPCs die from him i’m not expecting to win here i don’t have wings or anything and yeah I’m taking some big damage from these enemies and I end up dying but I mean it wasn’t too bad of an attempt I guess i farmed a couple wyvens with my magic dagger making everyone’s favorite i can hear the crowd cheering from here the fairy wings the most rugged testosterone fueled flight solution known to man nothing quite screams alpha male like a glitter trail mid combat and now I sleep and I sleep and I wait and I sleep and I wait for a sandstorm to occur and finally it happens and a sand elemental spawns right away this is exactly what I need if I’m up here on my platform it can’t even hit me which is fantastic the tornadoes can’t hit me i’m living the dream and before no time I’ve gotten a forbidden fragment but I need two of them so the sandstorm already runs out but there is another sand elemental which I’m able to kill for that second forbidden fragment giving me what I need to make the spirit flame magic weapon this is a other magic weapon i’ve never used it before because it’s such a complex tree to make it and it’s pretty cool and with this new weapon I spawn in the Goblin Army and as you can see the flames home in on enemies which is great having a homing weapon fantastic a goblin warlock arrives it’s not too hard i’m keeping my distance from it i end up switching over to my magic dagger cuz it can just do more DPS if I direct it straight onto it and the first warlock I kill drops the shadow flame hex doll i have used this weapon before it’s pretty good so we’ve got a pretty good lineup of weapons the Medusa head is already rotting in my inventory but now we can go straight onto the twins our first proper attempt at a mechanical boss now the spirit flame seems to be the best choice here just having homing projectiles on the twins is really nice i’m trying to hit spasmatism first i do like to single out a twin and spasmatism tends to be my choice for that it’s not very long before spasmatism is in second phase when he’s spewing out the flames though he’s pretty slow which means that it’s harder to hit him with the homing projectile and without a dash considering I can’t use the shield of Cthulhu this playth through as per usual it’s kind of tough spasmatism is hurting me a lot and retinaser is already at second phase here before I can actually kill spasmatism i do get a heal off though the feather fall potion is definitely helping with my ability to control my movement really underrated potion and in no time Bretoner is destroyed and down go the twins i went down to hell to get some souls of light and the first red devil I kill drops a fire feather that’s a 1 in 50 chance my luck in this playthrough so far has been kind of crazy but there was a reason I fought the twins first with souls of sight I can make the magical harp an other magical weapon this one I’ve definitely used before it’s pretty consistent and good especially against a destroyer because it pierces really well and speaking of destroyer that’s exactly who I’m fighting next again I’m fighting it at the beach just to protect my NPCs like a good citizen and yeah I’m just shooting the harp close to me so that it’s slow projectiles hitting lots of the destroyer segments i can also use the spirit flames homing projectiles to kill off the probes really easily or you know I can just use the magical harp to kill them as well the weapons I’m using now are really good the harp is just beautifully destroying this guy it is raining so nimbuses are spawning which is very annoying and then a wraith comes out of nowhere and hits me i was about to say I don’t know why so many enemies are spawning but I just realized I had a battle potion on this whole time that really explains it but you know battle potion we’re at battle so very good potion to use for this and simple enough destroyer defeated there’s nothing we really gain from the destroyer so we’re going straight to Skeletron Prime i start off with the spirit flame the homing projectiles are pretty nice although they do home in on the limbs most of the time so I’m not attacking straight to the skull i then switch over to the harp to do some damage and then to the shadow flame hex doll and that seems to be the biggest damage dealer and yeah skullron prime isn’t too hard i’m just keeping my distance from him i have a cross necklace so that if I get stuck at all I don’t because of the invincibility frames just chipping him down eventually the vice is destroyed the laser hand is really low and we’re doing some big damage to his skull when it’s spinning around these weapons are quite fun to use against Skeletron Prime being able to switch around use the Spirit Flame for the homing and then Shadow Flame when he’s coming in to kill me it just synergized really well and with only two hands remaining the final mech boss is down and the jungle is now growing restlessly and now with my pickaxe axe I can go mining for some life fruit and chlorophy ore which you know not a great grind you got to do what you got to do i then got some butterfly dust for a wings upgrade uh even though the flame wings are literally the exact same as the butterfly wings but what’s crazy is I was shimmer forging the first craft I did I got warding and now with a full 500 health I start dynamiting my jungle near a planter bulb creating what the kids call these days an oag tunnel and on my way down I spawn in the queen bee whoops we’re going to have to fight the queen bee this one is really hard i got down really low lots of damage here so I’m going to have to be real careful here we’re doing some big damage though and just like that the queen bee is defeated and now let’s just boss rush this you know after fighting the menacing queen bee let’s fight Planter now this arena for first phase planter it’s not great it’s pretty bad but it doesn’t need to be good first phase is a breeze the moss hornet jumps in while I’m fighting her and it drops a tattered B-wing that is three postmech wing options that I’ve gotten i’m just mostly using the magical harp spinning around Planter until she is in second phase and then I jump down the tunnel as I always do nothing has really changed i set down some Nimbus rods so that she is going straight into that sweet damage i’m shooting the magical harp mostly at different speeds but mostly a slower speed so that it hits multiple times we’re doing big damage here she’s getting low real quick super simple but I run out of Oiggo tunnel space so I have to go through the natural caves and luckily there was a minecart track which naturally cleared out some area and there we go planter down now that Plantara’s defeated I get access to a new weapon and our first step for that is finding the lizard temple and then I looted through the chests and our second step was spawning in the solar eclipse now this wasn’t too bad the weapons I had were sufficient enough to kill these enemies for the most part i could just go on the ground shoot the magical harp and it pierce through all of them and if there’s any flying enemies I can use the spirit flame for homing projectiles such as vampires and mothron which won’t be dropping anything that we can use here no what we’re really looking for is the Dr manfly which drops us the Toxic Flask now I’m a bit skeptical about this weapon it is good for crowd control but I’m not so sure about its single target damage i don’t think it’s going to be any good for that i reforge it to mythical and head straight into the postpla dungeon pretty quickly I get the tabby and the black belt and the ectoplasm takes a while but I do get enough to make a full set of spectre armor with the hood so I can switch for life steal with our endgame armor set i spawned in the pumpkin moon the toxic flask is doing a really good job at killing those land enemies and it honestly does some respectable damage against the morning wood and morningwood are what I am fighting here there’s actually no weapon or anything that drops from the pumpkin moon that I can even use all I want from this is a witch’s broom i’m a bit of a sucker for it these days i end up killing lots of morning wood and some pumpkins but not getting the witch’s broom and I fight not one not two but four pumpkin moons before I finally get the witch’s broom from a morning wood and now with that in hand not even using the witch’s broom I spawn in the Golem i’m exclusively using the toxic flask here it’s actually decent against the Golem since it’s so big and mostly stationary he just sits still so he’ll linger in the gas cloud for quite a bit of time he gets the second phase head detaches i started losing a bit of health there but I can just switch to the spectre hood and just heal all that back up we’re completely fine and with no shock to anyone the golem is defeated i then fought him a bunch more times giving me the final ingredient for the celestial shell and now it’s time the Empress of Light i start off the fight losing a bit of health so I switch to the hood to gain that health back i try using the toxic flask and it’s just not really doing a lot since the Empress moves so fast she’s never really lingering inside of it so it’s really not that great against the Empress so I quickly switched to the Spirit Flame which is doing more consistent damage it’s not great since this is an early hard mode weapon but honestly it’s not that bad it is a blood moon so the colors are a little off but it looks kind of cool i guess it’s not going too bad although it’s taking a long time there are multiple things I could want from the Empress first of all soaring insignia goatated accessory her wings fantastic wings and she drops two magic weapons both of which I can use the night glow and the stellatoon which is much more rare it’s only a 5% drop chance making it rarer than the wings so I expect I’m going to have to fight this boss many times i’m easily dodging these attacks i know hit second phase up until the end and there we go empress light down i open up my treasure bag and oh my gosh no freaking way what are the chances of that i got the freaking both magic weapons that’s actually insane i thought I’d be grinding the Stella for ages i got the night glow and the stellatoon in the same treasure bag that might be the luckiest I’ve ever been in this game getting a 25% drop and a 5% drop that I want in the same treasure bag on the first attempt people are going to start thinking I installed like the dream luck mod or something so now I have two fantastic weapons the night glow homing weapon really good i actually love this weapon it’s so beautiful and you hold out the lamp and it’s really powerful especially against like hordes of enemies and the Celatoon you hold out the guitar it makes guitar strums and it does good damage against single target but it’s a bit harder to hit than the night glow and it’s really nice to be serving out this much damage in this playthrough like these weapons could carry me through the rest of the game and just like that Empress Light has been defeated again i open up my treasure bag and I got the wings what is this the wings bro i got the wings a 10% drop chance on the second Empress fight so apparently on this world I have like the most goated luck ever i can use the night glow and stellatoon to just tear through all the enemies now so who better to test my new weapons and my new wings than soaring insignia than Duke Fishron the Stellatune is absolutely shredding him nightlow does respectable damage while being completely homing so I don’t even have to think where I’m aiming the Stellatune is also homing it’s just shorter range and does like a wave pattern of the stars these weapons have so much aura like I love these weapons bro the Empress of Light is an S tier 10 out of 10 boss drops are fantastic the fight is always fun and here I am fighting Duke Fisher and talking about the Empress the Duke gets the third phase and I’m just soaring through the skies no problem stellatune absolutely destroys him i mean imagine I got the Duke Fishron wings from that treasure bag i didn’t i was expecting it though okay now we’re on the home stretch now I’ve definitely done better damage against the cultist but this is definitely respectable it’s good damage unfortunately I didn’t get a DPS meter in this playthrough there’s no easy way to gauge how much damage I’m doing across these weapons but yeah the Stella tune destroys those ancient light like nothing he’s losing a lot of health quickly but one of my Nimbus rods that I set up earlier actually hits one of the fake cultists right before I’m about to hit the real one which spawns in the dragon but I killed the dragon instantly and soon after I killed the lunatic cultist with no real issues the Stardust pillar spawns right on me so I decide to just use the night glow putting on the spectre hood if I need to heal the homing projectiles are just mincing these enemies making light work of them it’s such a cakewalk with this weapon and now the pillar’s shield is down so I can kill it and we can go straight to the nebula pillar this one pretty easy as well with the night glow being able to heal at my will and deal crazy damage that is homing easy pillar unfortunately though I didn’t get that many fragments and I do want to make both the Nebula weapons that is the Nebula Blaze and the Nebula Arcanum and the Nebula Blaze I get mythical on my first reroll bro so yeah we just got some new epic Empress weapons and they kind of just got replaced although they might have some uses here and there as you can see with the Solar Pillar the Night Glow still has its uses the Nebula Arcanum is a great crowd controller but the Night Glow is just quicker and a bit more consistent I feel like and soon enough the solar pillar is defeated leaving one pillar left the vortex pillar which I honestly find the most difficult of them i do defeat the pillar but I actually die before I can get all the fragments and that puts me on a 15-second respawn so I don’t have much time to collect my stuff i make some super healing potions but I realize that I quick stack my soaring insignia into a chest so I don’t have my soaring insignia which is a big strat of mine i’m fumbling around looking for it but I instantly die to a death rate we got pants but purely for a lack of trying i just need to lock in real quick and I can beat this the moon lord spawns in i do some damage to the top eye i’m trying to decide which weapon I should use i have four weapons at my disposal i’m probably not going to use the Nebula Arcanum but I’m switching between the Nebula Blaze and the Stella Tune trying to find my rhythm here i do dodge the top eye easily we’re doing just fine i do take some damage but I get a heal off now I obviously can’t use the hood here because the Moon Lord’s leech disables any life steal but the eyes are getting pretty low here we’re doing good damage and I’m actually opting to use the stellar tune when I’m attacking the top eye because the Nebula Blaze tends to just divert and attack the hand eyes which is really weird and I do get hit pretty hard but my regen’s pretty good i then go to dodge the top eye and I get hit by something but we managed to just dodge the death laser now one of the hand eyes are out of the socket so I quickly destroy the top eye and then the left eye and now I can just use the Nebula Blaze out of range and as long as I don’t get hit by many of the true eye of Cthulhu projectiles we should have this in the bag i’m dodging i’m dodging the projectiles i switch to the Stellatoon to do a bit of damage and then back to the Nebula Blaze just to keep my distance regen back up and not get hit by the projectiles and he’s so low now i go in with my Stellatoon finishing off the Moon Lord with a guitar and we have officially beat Terraria with other magic weapons now there is an endgame other weapon that I can get from the Moon Lord i didn’t get it from the treasure bag so I do want to farm it so I fought the Moon Lord again not getting it the cultist and the pillars again how I’m able to make some nebula armor for my endgame mage armor and once again I don’t get the weapon uh let me just skip through this until I get it uh yeah skip that skip that skip that beat him again so what finally we got the last prism what was once the most damaging weapon in Terraria until the Zenith came along but I tested it out against the Moon Lord and it is just frying him that top eye got absolutely annihilated like that damage is utterly unreal honestly against the Moon Lord it does rival the Zenith and then I fought the Frost Moon just to finish things off destroy some things with my last prism it just tore him to shreds so yeah That’s right. I’m doing it. Terraria but only “other” magic weapons. I alluded to this being a thing in my wands only video, saying that it would be “terrible”. It was, in fact, terrible. At least in pre-hardmode. This was purely due to the fact I could ONLY use the CRIMSON ROD in pre-hardmode. This made it incredibly challenging, especially against the Wall of Flesh. But, if I manage to beat the WoF, it unlocks a bunch of cool, fun and even strong weapons to use for the challenge in hardmode. SO LETS DO IT!!
