SURPRISE NEW MINECRAFT UPDATE – NEW LAVA CHICKEN MUSIC DISC & ALL SECRET CHANGES!

oh my god what tippy to you laddies it’s me Shaon and welcome to a brand new Minecraft update baby 1.21.7 it’s well just about here and oh my god this is one of the most amazing exciting surprises in literally years smack that like button harder than the Subaru slamming into a tree and let’s dive in all right so this morning it was interesting at about 9:55 a.m eastern time a brand new article popped up on the Minecraft website talking about some brand new updates in the game except they weren’t in the game quite yet following that perhaps the most excruciatingly long mental breakdown of an hour all documented on my timeline for you to see publicly i’ll leave it there um yeah the article went away and then it came back so this brand new update is a technical hot fix update to Minecraft Chase the Skies i’ve set ourselves up a little showcase world here there will be a world download for channel members not you there’s a world download out right now excuse the rude llamas okay i’ll take care of them before release now this hot fix update it’s not just a hot fix alongside about 10 different changes we’ve got two brand new giant features we start with the signs though in case you like to ride things in the chase the skies drop there were some issues with signs in specific conditions very specific certain conditions wherein if they were glowing they were just basically unrendered and unreadable and as you can see right here I’m not having any of those issues we can read all of the top secret very important messages on every single one of these signs that it’s perfect another big fix that we’ve had having to do with rendering has to do with maps so maybe you updated your world had a beautiful map wall that was fully filled in except all of a sudden it was a little bit less beautiful inside of the update well that’s because Chase the Skies completely broke maps in their rendering well bam now since last week I’ve seen so many comments about a vibrant visuals on Minecraft Java this was heavily promoted as part of the update for Bedrock Edition unfortunately Java gang still no word the vibrant visuals update is still under works over at Mojang HQ and will hopefully be here i don’t know i guess fingers crossed before the end of the year but maybe don’t hold your breath speaking of hold your breath so check this out and I’m throwing you back in time a little bit this was 1.21.6 chase the skies drop we had a problem with not only the blindness effect but the darkness effect when you were to jump underwater essentially as you can see right here when I’m jumping under the water with either of these effects I think I had them swapped around originally well the effects just don’t apply they don’t really work and back over inside of the main update now I’m going go ahead and give myself blindness 1.21.7 jump under the water while the blindness is really hard to tell but if I move farther away you can see that it’s totally working the other no bueno effect is the darkness effect if I were to get the darkness effect maybe ancient city then I jump in water hiding from warden well darkness will again pulse in and out while I’m under the water so uh be careful today’s a big day because not only do we have our first true surprise update with new features since like the golden era but also I’ll be live a little bit later inside of my survival world checking out this update and also building my biggest build so far if you haven’t seen quite yet our world is coming along quite nicely we’re already past day 100 to be at the top of the chat leaderboard or just become a channel member to get your name inside of my world forever this will all be going down at 3:00 p.m eastern time i hope you swing by we’ll definitely be listening to that chicken jockey disc all right speaking of chicken jockey disc we we’ll get to that in a second to first things first oh my god we’ve got a new painting and this thing right here it’s called Dennis y Minecraft movie spoilers it’s been out for like 3 months now sorry that’s on you if this is a spoiler but whatever in the Minecraft movie also in the movie trailers there’s this good boy named the Dennis it is Steve’s faithful companion dennis has now made his way into official vanilla Minecraft this is fire i I definitely said it so many times over here on the channel you guys remember I talked about needing things from the movie in the game we got the happy gas kind of movie adjacent and now we’ve got a brand new painting it’s 3×3 so this brand new painting is the sixth painting in the game by Sarah Boing now if you can remember Sarah Boing is the artist behind some of these new gen masterpieces like these different pieces right here oh beautiful you know how a painting works i don’t even need to give you a tutorial but I’m a nice guy i’ll do it anyways in survival Minecraft place a painting down in a 3×3 area there’s a whole lot of 3x3s so you’re going to have to cycle through quite a few of these paintings but eventually hopefully sooner or later oh my god you’ll get Dennis this painting is beautiful now this new little painting is over on Minecraft Bedrock Edition right now both of the big new additions will eventually make their way to Minecraft Bedrock Edition in full release as well by the way what do you guys think genuinely is this maybe the best painting in all of Minecraft now I I think it might be in the world of other graphical fixes inside of this update the dropper the dispenser when they were facing up sometimes their particles when being broken were completely broken now as we can see here with these things facing up and I break these things well yeah the breaking block particles that happen really really quickly little pixels that fly up here well yeah they’re fully back all right now this next one is maybe the biggest fix of this update i actually experienced this problem when I was working on a science experiment with a happy gas so this will mean be very careful with your happy gas until this update fully releases but let’s say I was flying around the my world inside of 1.21.6 well while flying the happy gas if I dismount and hold forward sometimes I would glitch clean through the happy gas and fall all the way back down to the solid ground way down below me so again in order to pull this off I am flying the happy gas holding forward dismounting still holding forward and I would fall straight through the entity no bueno that gigantic massive whopper of a problem has now been fixed when you dismount the happy gas even if you’re still holding forward you will no longer glitch through the mob but seriously it’s dangerous be very careful and my word of caution even after this update is when you’re dismounting the happy gas maybe just don’t move at all hold the gas still dismount and then go ahead and jump off of it you know do whatever else you wanted to do this is such a dangerous issue but compared to some of the problems for the Happy Ghast on Bedrock Edition I I mean look us Java gang over here we have it nice and easy in the midnight hour sometimes from time to time actually every time we have phases but it’s always there the moon will pop up in the sky and there was a problem with this thing in the chase the skies update ironically basically our problem with the moon here is it wasn’t rendering sometimes obviously this is going to be a little awkward because we’re all about chasing the skies in this update and you can’t even chase the big ball of cheese if you were wondering why your moon was missing it was a bug and it’s fixed now but perhaps the greatest surprise of all with this update is the final thing that I’d like to talk about today this thing is giant it’s a brand new music disc that you can find inside of your world so don’t get me wrong of course the painting it’s beautiful probably best one in the game except we’ve known about this since the updated release date last week you see over on the official Minecraft website we had a little hint about this new update inside of the Bedrock Edition change log tucked about a quarter of the way down on the bedrock change log we have one simple line added a painting of a good boy by artist Deser Bo so that means good boy is out in Minecraft 1.21.90 to chase the skies but now today we have a brand new music disc now of course you might be wondering how could one caress thy hands upon it the new music disc well I have a little contraption in the world go ahead and flick the switch oh my god no this is Jake and Jockey what am I going to do i’m stuck inside of a pen fighting this thing and oh wait what is that did I perhaps give myself resistance so I will never take damage from this immortal being well yeah i’m the immortal being up here i see no king no king other than me that is if I go ahead and take out the chicken jockey i’m so sorry about this i’m so so sorry about this i don’t know if it’s going to work cuz I summoned it in but if it spawned naturally a chicken jockey oh my god why are there two if this thing had summon Oh you take the zombie out first never mind it does work if you take a baby zombie out while it’s riding a chicken you will get the chicken jockey music disc or I guess I should say lava chicken no way all right so this is kind of beautiful the disc texture right there chef’s kiss that is a wonderful looking music disc i love it with spawning conditions or mechanics like this this will mean any chicken jockey that pops up in your world even if you’re cheating use a little bit of a command you’ll be able to get it this is the only way to get your hands on the music disc as far as I’m aware now listen for legal reasons and also because I mean don’t you want to play Minecraft right hop in game and listen to it we’re going to go ahead and listen to a tiny bit of this music disc right here just like maybe not too long there’s a little bit more about it so don’t go anywhere sit tight three two one [Music] oh my god that is beautiful and might be the best music disc in the entire game jesus brand new music disc you know how things go i had to take it over to the science lab that I set up for you over here we throw it in the jukebox with a comparator and what signal will it get but one less than the signal of the disc that was added in the newest update Chase the Skies so in Chase the Skies if you remember the tears music disc will give you a signal of 10 the brand new Lava Chicken music disc by Hyper Potions this one will give you a signal strength of nine inside of your world oh my god legit I’m so excited about this i can’t decide if I’m going to try and get my hands on this disc today or on Friday but oh my god I wonder if I can get this thing from a zombie spawner farm because mama I just built one now release date for this update today technically we have 1.21.7 release candidate number one but as long as no critical issues are found this update will be releasing shortly depending on when you watch this that means the update might already be out if I had to take a guess concretely this thing will be out by the end of the week so this little snapshot video but also updated video will suffice i won’t be making a full update maybe I’ll drop a short to let you know that it’s out but yeah this is the update what do
