heat hey heat hey heat heat heat good evening ing brothers sisters and gender normous sisters it’s time for some more Stardew Valley with me your host Olive and Kaden uh so we’re getting everything set up let me go ahead and get everything ready and going and there we go i think he may still be doing his intro no I was making sure that I had everybody turned down where nobody’s deafening anybody have a face all right sure that afternoon game is actually Ah yes fruit trees okay looks like everything is working properly yeah okay good so yeah I I I got a fair amount done yesterday so in your green chest you should have the five uh yep I already grabbed everything cool on my way to town oh and we are down to level 25 in the mine oh well damn i guess I’m going to have to go grab my equipment guessing you busted like did you did you hit a trash can or something yeah right as Shane walked up and I was like “Go ahead judge me you drunk bastard.” Oh right uh we also have the bulletin board opened up and the boiler room okay that fish oh I did get one of the ghost fish as well you really were a busy bee yes I was so we need a walleye and a sturgeon okay so the sturgeon is only available in the summer and winter in the lake mountain in the all day that’s cool yep and walleye is in the fall and winter or in the fall in the rain in the afternoon okay now the catfish is in the uh secret forest it’s also just in the in the river but you have to be it has to be raining and you have to do it in the morning yay a car which did you get pick for upgrading i upgraded my axe okay and we will want to save up some money coming starting uh in the next few game days cuz summer is the the time for for planting is a big time for farming oh yeah I get all my best crops in the summer oh yeah I just realized I need to pop up my uh my live chat all the way down here Leah via my live chat uh Knox would would uh like to share the fact that birds are [ __ ] in this game oh yeah crows in particular that’s why I always get a scarecrow like burst thing yeah I had to I had to put a scarecrow down by my strawberries because they stole one i had just planted them were just starting to grow and the crows are like “Ooh your food thank you that’s not for you if not mine why too shiny?” Yeah we need to get an iron axe for the secret forest yep so I went ahead and upgraded my top all right might as well do some fishing it’s way too late to plant anything new allmouth bass those things are everywhere almost like they’re an invasive species yeah apparently the herring the the the herring boost was because of a genetically engineered herring that was accidentally released that was like super virile i’m so glad they came out they they want lore with their right like okay so it’s not just oh hey catch a bunch of herring because I said so it’s like no no no somebody let loose the super herring but when did I turn around why did you am I slowly stocking us up with explosives yes leah is apparently drawing at least I think so yeah I went and explored quite a ways like I I I was just looking for copper at that point but I’m just like “Oh oh well [ __ ] okay you’re going to let me down.” And oh here we are at level 20 cool sometimes you get really lucky like that i assume you went you popped down to level 20 right yes okay let me try to get my sword i kind of question their the the sound and stuff that they have as far as the fishing it sounds like it sounds like somebody straining in like a a a latex outfit or something hey a chub you just had to bring back the flashback of that awkward conversation I had with my father today okay were you like out of nowhere a purpose of nothing he was like “Hey so do you remember a while back when we were talking about people who like to be sealed up in like rubber and with only hoses to breathe?” I was like “No actually I don’t recall this conversation cuz that would be horrifying to have with you but you’re” He’s like “Well someone took it a step further and he turns around his phone to show me someone that stealed an Insta pole.” Okay and he’s like “Wouldn’t that burn their skin?” And I was like “Yeah but it looks like they’re wearing like a full latex gimpsuit so they might be protected but why am I having this conversation with you?” Yeah there’s some conversations you just don’t want to have with your parents like don’t get me wrong I’m sex positive and open about [ __ ] but like this was out of nowhere man a perfect bream 19 in that bream is hung you’ve walked 10 minutes has a has a reason to be dreaming huh [ __ ] it’s already 9:00 yeah that’s why I didn’t start it till we were both in and ready it’s like okay I agree Nox some things are better left unknown wait no i wanted to sell sell sell sell oh I got a 20-in bream i’m waiting for the inevitable it’s not the size that counts i’m pretty sure the fish already know that that’s it’s all about the motion in the ocean well it wasn’t an ocean it was a sewer river speaking of which that is going to be the most annoying fish to catch there we go i’m already in bed so we’ll pop over to your view i’m headed there when I can find the damn entrance it was a team effort until Kaden got lost in the forest then it became hilarious maybe we should build like eth roadways we’ve earned 15,000 gold huh yep why does the [ __ ] have to be so loud because it’s compensating oh yay mom sent me cookies oh yeah oh what look what few crops we have are watered don’t water it go and put my sword away for right now forgot to check the TV uh nothing special so what’s the weather supposed to be like tomorrow supposed to rain tomorrow good uh right i have unmilled rice i’m going to check in with you when 9:00 is oh right uh also in your dungeon in your dungeon chest there is a uh a a a nice little tasty treat for you the bug stick says it’s last resort type food but it’s like but it’s it’s it’s actually pretty good for you it’s pretty handy too i didn’t click on that god damn it i know my axe isn’t strong enough for that all right what we have as far as stone what I have as far as Okay here what do you got we got parsnips beans cauliflower i wouldn’t buy anything right now i always check this to see right oh yeah and the jazz scene i always get beans because it’s just the easiest way to do things yeah but they take What are you doing i am I am making cobblestone oh and yeah they take 12 days but they also last the entire season that’s the appeal yeah but the season’s going to be over in two days i wish I could catch the frog that’d be nice now we actually have walkways oh did you have a green rain huh did you have a green rain while I was gone uh I don’t know gosh we cleared all this stuff out no I haven’t been focusing on clearing this side out yet i’ve been focusing on fishing ah probably are good for money but fish get you a little bit more oh I did repair the the uh the bridge on the beach okay cool don’t need to worry about collecting wood for that we do need a crap ton of wood for our coupe eventually well in a couple more days I’ll have enough or I’ll have my copper axe so I’ll have enough to just run through and destroy some of these trees i figure that’s what I’m I’m kind of focusing on at least until tomorrow then once once tomorrow hits then I’m just making a beline for the river and I will fish until I get a freaking catfish aren’t catfish not turtle uh I don’t think so starting to feel exhausted better cut better better back off on that power through it you can do it i can with some field snacks they’re made from the most disgusting stuff they’re part pine cone that’s Hey you know what sometimes you got to do what you got to do [ __ ] okay hey we’re we’re living there we’re We’re living there not anymore no you’re not think of this as an eviction house we need like three or 400 wood for our know we need like 5,000 gold or 10,000 I don’t remember and I’m exhausted This is why lumberjacks ate such huge breakfastes this is why lumberjacks are always built true all right uh got some moss don’t know what to do with moss moss doesn’t know what to do with moss it is an ingredient i just uh forget what you do with it right off hand right i do have the ability to make wild seeds for summer oh part of a mushroom log i love how we just have this random creepy shack that no one uses i wonder if we can get rid of those the uh other houses yeah we can okay we’ll technically not get rid of them um eventually after a few upgrades Robin will offer to make them storage houses ah okay all right let me dump all this stuff in here i have 589 pieces of wood now you can’t complain about getting lost on your way back watch me you shouldn’t be able to complain where you are in the Midwest yeah I was going to say Midwest is kind of a big place so I mean it can be i mean the Midwest is mostly farms so you got you know places like Minnesota which were so boring that they created salads that aren’t really salads wait why are there stars on some of these days there’s mystery stuff on the 15th 16th and 17th i Okay something apparently going on but it didn’t tell me what it was i’m going to receive dehydrator place five pieces of fruit or edible mushrooms inside to dry them that’s pretty much what it says it is right i wanted to check out some some of the stuff like a cookout kit use this to create a cooking campfire allowing you to cook on the go that actually sounds pretty handy okay so a worm bin creates worms that’s price why does Why does it need a gold bar though that because the worms are are rich i don’t know pretentious maybe like I was going to say fascist but that wasn’t the word I wanted oh yay it’s quarter till 1 and people are setting off fireworks guys you still got a few days before that happens around here they they they set them off pretty much from June 1st till September 1st what else I wanted to do that’s right i wanted to talk to Robin around here we play the ever fun game was that a firework or was that a gunshot yeah same here there have been more than a few times where I was like okay what was that especially when you hear them rapid fire and stuff it’s like okay so either somebody’s uh either somebody’s having a shootout or I personally like the fact that every year we get the reminder that certain fireworks are illegal we also live in a neighborhood with like five cops so those illegal fireworks get shut off anyways oh we can’t do we can’t get rid of them right away get rid of who the extra buildings yeah or I guess the extra building like there’s only one i mean you can get rid of it you can turn it into a storehouse i’m good either way I just went ahead and got rid of it cuz I want to be able to I want to have options when we start buying buildings like if we put if we put up a a storage shed or something like that that’s that’s cool i’m I’m totally fine with that but it’s like yeah I want to be able to to And we can always rebuild if we need only 100 gold a 9 in herring okay so the coupe is 4,000 gold 300 wood 100 stone all right well I have got some wood going on in my chest to the left of my door yeah but we’ll wait till after we buy our first round of crops for summer first thing I’m going to go for is like I think it’s the peppers and the uh the peppers are ability what when we get the ability to grow it coffee coffee i don’t think I’ve ever grown coffee before okay we’ll take that seriously you guys you see me standing there fishing you can go around me learned your lesson that it’s better to you know that if if you have to go out searching for your heart’s desire then it’s you know you don’t need to go any further than your backyard cuz if it isn’t there you don’t need it like yeah what a great way to say never have any ambition in life but you have to remember this was made towards the end of the Great Depression so is don’t go out searching new crops to plant take hops for example the the vines take a while to grow but once they’re mature they can be harvested every day good luck yeah the the the 19 19 1930s and and 2020s are Yeah they’re they’re kind of disturbingly getting to be seem to be pretty similar there’s a phrase for that and we’ve mentioned it on Pirates a few times i believe it goes something like those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it i was just going to say shit’s [ __ ] up [ __ ] happens and then you die i think it was last night uh chat was saying that you know what would what would somebody from the 1920s say if they came to the 20 if they came to 2020 it’s like they probably still be sitting there say wait you guys have a pandemic now too weren’t you supposed to learn from this wake up the next morning and you’re still exhausted but because I’m waiting on him I’ve just got full energy already move over cat and then suddenly I’m at like half energy good job all right all right so who found us oh oh oh we let Joa onto the farm and they build us 125 for that service who the hell let them onto our property i suppose you cuz I was passed out did you forget to to to uh to cancel your your Jojo insurance i don’t have Jojo insurance i don’t have insurance what are you talking about i’m an elder millennial i can’t afford insurance it’s all that avocado toast here’s the question how How much energy do I expend watering all of these damn crops wait when did I get numbers on my energy meter i don’t know huh that’s so weird i have not you’re right V i have not uploaded a video to my channel in a long time i mostly just do live streams these days yeah I’ve gotten into that bad habit too maybe it’s because you know technically lives are easier yeah oo a sweet pea play about the you know juvenile sailor i feel it’s very important to differentiate between the two i’m not just picking up a kid i mean Oh right i did pick up one of those because we specifically need one what sunflower oh I picked up a few sunflowers picked up I I’ve got a row of sunflowers actually one or two okay cool calling it an early night already have you seen my energy no I haven’t i’m already about to pass out again rainbow shell i do think that when we get our foraging high enough one of us needs to go the uh always get aridium plants and the double cuz that that makes money hand over fist all right so I have combed the beach there wasn’t much there also what was that advice you gave me for for doing the lives was lives are easier because they can’t skip to the good part yeah the watch time generally for for doing live streams is going to be better because Yeah they they can’t be like “Oh okay well I I’m going to skip this i’m going to skip that i’m going to skip this i’m going to skip that.” It’s like they they really can’t do that i mean they could always just you know skip the live and then watch what they want but see then you’re praying on the the idea of the fear of missing out my inventory is full well [ __ ] me all right fine oh I’ve got one of those anyway i don’t even know what those are like the red things red things whatever the red plant is you find in in the summertime but it’s spice berry i was about to say there’s a lot of those spice berries sell pretty well i don’t I’m using just shy of half of my my energy to water everything each day so all right me plant my stuff he’s a cat i mean I suppose that’s kind of redundant isn’t it what l calling a cat lazy get Get out of the way there you lazy solar powered yeah but their battery life sucks they require a 36-hour charge time yeah for like 15 minutes of doing stuff yes but in those 15 minutes they can destroy a planet or at least a medium-sized apartment only thing there’s some grapes i think yes grapes ah that will help out a lot as far as the community center all right let’s see here forge yes forge is down here i’m a forge bundle so boom boom and boom summer forge bundle is complete yay we have 30 summer seeds right oh and we are opening up the It’s got to be the the the office so now they’re wanting money from us the vault yes yeah why could it be the kitchen could have I’m going to say it’s not proper to be screwing another person’s wife while you’re married as well wait is Louis married yes at least he used to be might not be now get your ass into the net freaking usually have fruit like fruit trees planted i usually try and plant them in like the fall or winter yeah well I just go for the fruit bats because you know again you can get your foraging leveled up and you always get rid of them and they they sometimes just bring you really weird [ __ ] i usually go with the fungus because I don’t like searching around in the in the in all the caves for the different type of fungi all right seriously who’s throwing who’s throwing seed beads in here a pike come on you son of a [ __ ] for not escaping me a pike 30 incher and trash yeah I’ve got a Jojo cola my crops no sunny day uh here’s rundown of fish can find in the summer durando found in the forest rivers during the day rainbow trout found in the forest rivers in the mount and in the mountains during the day puffer fish found in the ocean in early afternoon and octopus found in the ocean during the morning okay that’s all sounds i’m taking the shortcut to the cave i’m watering my crops first hit the kitty hey some grapes remember kids if you see random fruit laying on the ground eat it what’s the worst that could happen hey if you’re really lucky it’ll have been there for a while it’ll be fermented how far down in the caves are you going until I pass out or die no I mean where are you starting well I went I started at 25 oh okay i’m probably going to start at like five or 10 like serious there’s bits of of copper here i got 27 nice and I’m also going to call it a day for the mines cuz I’m going to come back when I have my cherry bombs skeleton’s giving you problems h that’s going to be a lot if I want to make four staircases yeah it ain’t cheap all right I’m going to water up one of us should upgrade our uh upgrade our watering can yeah well let’s see how much copper I’ve got i’ve got 30 pieces of copper that would be enough but yeah one of us one of us upgrades the other one waters everything cuz if I remember right with the Oh I can’t use your stuff okay some stuff to the museum there’s If you had looked around you would have noticed there was more stuff than before i’ve always looked around there’s something Oh that’s right what’s his name is selling ice cream is that Alex or uh the other Kent no Kent’s not home yet yeah Kent’s the Kent Kent’s the K’s the guy that is kind of questionable oh [ __ ] i mean again we live in Stardew with Shane not mean to bash you sir that was You know what i am going to sell that club i don’t know do you want a level two club is it any better than our shortsword i don’t know cuz I don’t know what the stats are on uh four to eight with plus two speed uh this is 9 to 16 damage without any extra bonuses so like double damage but it’s not as Yeah but I was about to say the speed’s slower all right so we’ve got melons planted we’ve got seeds for next spring we got some iron ore for whenever we start getting iron so if we’ve got five iron ore we can pop that in the furnace and get us an iron bar we’ve only got one right now yeah okay right the rare seed is needs to be sewn in fall and it takes all season to grow we’ll sell this stuff uh I want to start I’m going to start collecting towards our 99 slime or the community center uh I actually do maybe have um okay so I’ve got the maple seeds I’ve got the pine cones I need the acorns I’m wanting to say or the uh field snack no I’m getting pine cones that didn’t sound good all right so I need the darker ones that are curving the other direction yeah you I don’t know about you but I am starting to uh bait out again all right I may call the stream early that’s understandable i am so wait till it actually saves progress yeah that that is good that would be good this means I got to get my ass to bed take your time it’s only 8:50 wait I want to deposit a bunch of [ __ ] all right so you and you the hell was that whistle oh it’s a bird oh it’s a bird 9:30 at night that’s odd uh sell those all right now I’ll go to bed and yeah I mean it’s already We’ve been going for about an hour almost an hour and 50 minutes so yeah that that’s Yeah that sounds like a good place to end and money like because we’re used to doing three-hour streams and such but you know like we said this is a chill stream this is not meant to burn us out yeah i mean we usually try and keep our streams to two hours when we think about it all right uh let me hit okay so that it actually goes through and saves there we go progress has been saved hallelujah yeah we’re going to go ahead and switch over to exit to title so that way it doesn’t just All right going to be everyone another clear sunny day also I get to play with the title screen and and get to show everybody look the Jew must show up and that does a thing i don’t know what it does what does a thing uh so if you’re on the title screen Yeah click leaves and the join modes will pop up oh yeah there they are and it’s just like and then click the uh bottom left corner here and you’ll get like a thing on your mouse but it doesn’t really do much how’d you get that to open oh you Yeah you just click on the basically you’re knocking on pounding on the door saying “Open up let me in take me away from this hell hole please all right well that’s where we’re going to end for tonight.” Yeah so uh Yeah i’ll go ahead and do my outro you go ahead and do your outro and uh we’ll I was like why don’t we just do our outros together tonight just All right we can do that yeah so as far as I’m uh gonna say thank you everybody for joining us and I hope that this helps you guys cuz I know there’s a lot of people who are just like up early in the morning it’s like almost 3 for me it’s two for you so I know there’s there’s a lot of insomniacs just sitting here early in the morning nowhere to go so hey I’m going to be up might as well do it do we have a plan for our final Friday uh game night jackbox i was about to say like did we choose a game i guess yeah Jackbox is always good we haven’t done Jackbox at all this this month yeah I was actually having fun like playing uh other games i especially like Guilty as Sock but yeah Jackbox will be a nice return to form so don’t forget everybody to join us on Friday for that um Tuesday I don’t know if I’m gonna do anything Tuesday i know the D&D group wants or at least one player has been asking me if we’re going to do it again but until I hear from the rest of the group and I know that we have enough people to run I’m not going to say whether or not we’re going to do it that night and as usual I’ll be running ChronoCross and Blueprints and Oblivion and I may have one or two new games i don’t know we’ll see i kind of want to finish one up before I start a new one cuz I don’t want to have too many going on at once and I don’t want to just
