in this video I tried beating Terraria using daggers only i installed a mod that adds a whole arsenal of daggers each having their own special effects there’s even one that requires a bunch of previous daggers that can be used to create the zened equivalent will I be able to defeat Moon Lord using these weapons let alone even make it to that point and just how strong is the final dagger let’s go find out okay first things first let’s find out how to make my first dagger so right away it looks like I’ll be able to make the wooden dagger just by using 12 pieces of wood let’s go make that real quick all right got enough wood let’s make the workbench and then the wooden dagger okay let’s make another one there we go so this wooden dagger has 10 melee damage 15% critical strike chance gives the player the stealthy buff when the dagger is held for 3 seconds without attacking this buff doubles melee damage and increases crit chance by 12% okay let’s hold it and there we go 20 damage and then 27 critical strike chance and now that I have my first weapon I can farm the materials for the next one the dagger that I’ll be going for next is going to be the grass dagger this requires one vine eight stingers and 10 jungle spores so let’s make our way into the jungle looks like the jungle is on the left side now let’s see if I can find a cave without dying this looks like it’ll lead me deep down ooh a chest band of regeneration found my first life crystal there’s another one over there too ow okay let’s kill these man-eaters for the vine okay got the vine now can I make it to that life crystal without dying probably not there are a lot of monsters ow get it get it get it oh another one over there heal there we go got this one as well and inside this chest flower boots another chest there we go something I can use cloud in a bottle oh my god that’s a lot of things anklet of the wind suspicious looking eye and some gravitation potions that’s going to be 200 health at this point I just need six more jungle spores and three more stingers okay that’s enough jungle spores and is this enough sapphire for the sapphire hook ooh 13 i just need two more oh actually scratch that there are some rubies over there and I already have eight so I might just make the ruby hook if that’s enough come on yep it is oh my god that’s a lot of man-eaters what the heck let’s just make the ruby hook right now so I can move around better found the magic mirror and that is enough stingers so now I can make the brass dagger got keen on it so this has a base damage of 11 and 19% crit chance this also gives the player the nature’s power buff so when I hold this for 3 seconds without attacking it doubles my melee damage increases crit chance by 100% and increases defense by 12 and this weapon is able to shoot leaves towards the cursor so we have a dagger that can shoot projectiles oh yeah that is very nice now I don’t have to get up close to attack monsters oh gladiator leggings that’s going to give me five defense i think before I return back onto the surface I’m going to try to find the remaining life crystals for max health and a bit more materials so that I can craft myself some armor oh god I might die here place down the freaking campfire heal please anything uh no well I guess I’ll look for the life crystals later for now let’s just build a little house to store my items away all right inventory has been cleaned out now let’s start making some items let’s make the platinum pickaxe and because I mined a bunch of tungsten I think I’m just going to make the full tungsten armor and that’s going to give me 15 defense oh plus the buff from the grass dagger then it goes up to 27 let’s now drink a gravitation potion to search for some sky islands for some better accessories and then once I get my hands on the shiny red balloon and the lucky horseshoe I’m going to wait until nighttime to take on the Eye of Cthulhu okay this should be it yep there it is ooh and we got armored on it let’s prepare for the fight now by building an arena okay it is officially night time let’s go ahead and summon the boss here we go we’re dealing about ooh 50 to 60 damage per second not bad it’s a bit slow but at least I’m clearing out the servants while attacking all right second phase [Music] going to dash now oh I don’t have Hermes boots so I’m going to be taking a lot of damage let’s try to use my hook more then there we go first boss down i’m now going to be switching over to a new weapon and that weapon is going to be the enchanted dagger the reason why is because this has a higher damage and it gives a buff that triggers while attacking and the buff from this weapon is a lot better in my opinion it doubles melee damage increases melee speed by 25% and crit chance by 10% in order to make the enchanted dagger I’m going to have to make the platinum broadsword and five fallen stars which I have all right let’s make it there we go projectiles move a lot slower but what about the range let’s check it out so it reaches Ooh it kind of varies okay that’s interesting and then the grass dagger i think the grass dagger is a bit more consistent when it comes to range yeah it is but that’s okay cuz this is still better before I do anything else let’s go max out my health that is 300 health and that is max health let’s just grab another Whoa okay three of them down here but as I was saying let’s just grab another one so that I can make a heart lantern okay now is there Hermes boots in one of these chests menacing shoe spikes and no another one okay let’s try to find Hermes Boots before I leave hey and there it is okay time to head back up and now let’s go check out another dagger next one is going to be the sky protector so I’m going to have to go back up onto those sky islands to collect some cloud blocks and sunplate blocks okay I’ve got enough sunplate blocks and a bunch of clouds oh so looks like I can only craft it during daytime guess I’m going to have to wait let’s just speed things up a bit by building a bed okay it is now daytime let’s craft the sky protector so this also has 17 damage just like the enchanted dagger but the buff gives the star strength buff when it is held for 3 seconds while attacking I gain increased life regen defense and movement speed when it is held for 3 seconds while attacking I gain increased life regen defense and movement speed and every time I hit an enemy it causes fallen stars to rain from the sky okay let’s check it out here’s a blue slime three two one oh whoa so this thing has like the Excalibur melee effect not only the Excalibur the true Excalibur Terror Blade and the Horseman’s Blade as well now the only thing I’m curious about is if the Fallen Stars can pierce through enemies or if it can hit multiple enemies at a time it comes down pretty fast though and let’s see how much defense it gives so I have 20 27 so I gained seven defense okay let’s use this to take down the brain of Cthulhu oo okay I just got my answer the fallen stars do not pierce i’m still not sure if it’s able to hit multiple enemies at a time though all right made it down into the crimson let’s build the arena first arena is done now let’s go break the crimson hearts okay last one get up oh that was a panic necklace i’m going to grab that later oh but damn this is pretty good yes so it looks like it is able to hit multiple enemies at a time and the amount of fallen stars is pretty nuts all right second phase just like that it shouldn’t be a problem anymore oh little too close there uh where’s the real one up there on the right left and done brain of Cthulhu has been defeated okay this weapon is pretty damn good let’s go grab that panic necklace and I think I’m going to take it down one more time to ensure that I have enough materials for the full crimson armor set and the deathbringer pickaxe okay down it goes for the second time now with a bunch of tissue samples and crimine bars I’m going to craft the full crimson armor along with the deathbringer pickaxe and might as well the blood lust cluster cuz I still have the copper axe i have a bunch of gold on me so let’s now build some NPC houses for the merchant to spawn five should be good next up is Skeletron but before that I’m going to mine down to hell to obtain my next weapon the inferno hand and this dagger is dropped by lava slimes all right made it down to hell let’s mine some hell stone and kill some lava slimes ooh magma stone hello was not expecting that oh my god and there it is the inferno hand 33 melee damage 12% critical strike chance gives the player the inferno sacrifice buff when the dagger is held for 3 seconds without attacking this buff increases melee damage by 75% increases melee speed by 30% and crit chance by 15% melee hits causes a flame to burst from the enemy and go towards the cursor and then applies the onfire debuff to the player oh so to me while swinging the inferno hand not sure how I feel about that i mean I do have the obsidian skin potion that would prevent the onfire debuff oh I think I know what to do i’m going to have to craft the molten armor set cuz that’s going to make me immune to the onfire debuff okay I’m not sure how I feel about using this weapon it is extremely short-ranged i thought the fire would go further out but apparently not ooh and a voodoo demon give me that doll yeah I don’t know i’ll probably just test it out on Skeletron and if it’s not that good I’ll just switch over back to the enchanted dagger okay that is enough hell stone i’m going to need a lot more obsidian though so back down I go okay that is enough obsidian molten armor made okay now I won’t take any fire damage let’s also make the molten pickaxe okay to the dungeon I go to take on Skeltron okay I think that’s good a two-layered arena time to summon Skeltron 3 2 1 Okay I have to get really close up to deal damage oh I’m going to take so much damage here run run run oh no okay get back to the arena god this is so bad okay heal god damn that’s so much damage okay I think I got to chill a bit here [Music] well that was pretty bad i’m going to have to wait until the next night to take it on okay this time should be a lot better i have a heart lantern now and some potions let’s just clear out these guys okay round two okay that’s one hand down yeah this feels so much better and oh one more hit go there we go now just the head yeah I can afford to get hit a lot more this time now this part is a little dangerous because I have to be basically almost touching the boss in order to deal damage okay less than 1,000 health left and this should be it okay that took quite a while but I am glad that is over and done with so now that I have access into the dungeon I’ll be looking for the shadow key and cobalt shield i’ll also be killing some skeletons down here for some bones and then with the bones I can make the water dagger with three water candles okay that’s three water candles and that’s enough bones oh my god there’s the cobalt shield and shadow key all right that’s everything that I need let’s get out of here let’s go make the water dagger oh nice got superior on it so it now has 29 damage 29 crit chance gives the player the refreshed buff and that doubles melee damage increases melee speed by 15% and crit chance by 50% this only happens while I’m not attacking though and then getting the refreshed buff spawns water bolts around the player interesting let’s see yeah I’m not attacking and that just happens automatically and when I do attack it looks like this very short stream but at least it’s ranged now I’m going to go collect the materials for one last dagger in free hard mode and that is the prehistoric dagger this requires eight ambers 12 shadow scales in this case tissue samples and 16 sturdy fossils got enough ambers i just need to find the extrainator now and there it is along with a bath statue let’s start extracting now all right that’s everything got 111 sturdy fossils let’s make the prehistoric dagger this has 15 damage 21 crit chance gives the player the prehistoric power buff when attacking for 3 seconds and this buff increases melee damage by 50% and crit chance by 100% and now that I have the prehistoric dagger water dagger grass dagger and the inferno hand I can combine all four daggers well not sure about this one but I can combine them into the dark portal so let’s head to a crimson altar to craft it here we are let’s make it so this has 36 damage 21 crit chance oh my Oh my god it shoots out three death sickles okay let’s keep on reading gives the player the shadow strike buff when the dagger is held for 3 seconds without attacking the buff doubles melee damage increases crit chance by 30% melee speed by 15 and increases defense by 10 getting the buff shoots death sickles towards the cursor yep shoots dark orbs that spawn new dark orbs towards the cursor on death newly spawned dark orbs lose velocity on hits has a chance to cause a shadow flame blast on melee hits damn this has a lot of effects let’s see ooh oh it has pretty good range on the projectiles although it kind of goes everywhere let’s go test out this bad boy against the eye of Cthulhu here we go where you at there you are oh it homes in onto enemies okay 400 damage per second pretty solid it’s almost time to take on the wall of flesh but before that I’m going to go head to the right side of the world to kill some goblin scouts for their tattered cloth so that I can summon the goblin army and after I defeat the army I’m going to go search for the Goblin Tinkerer to start combining my accessories together there we go got enough tattered cloths time to summon the army yeah this weapon is going to be really good against the wall of flesh i’m not worried at all when I do fight the bots there we go goblin army has been defeated let’s take out a hunter potion and then search for the tinkerer ooh the gladius hold up i’m pretty sure this can be used to make a dagger although it’s a dagger itself but let’s see so it can be turned into the rusted dagger fires a very smallsized beam that deals consistent damage to enemies okay that sounds interesting so I just need the wooden sword and iron broadsword let’s just try to find the goblin tinkerer first oh my god there he is okay let’s buy the rocket boots and the workshop i’m also going to reforge the dark portal ooh demonic do I want that or can I get godly hair oh maybe I should have stuck with demonic no oh that was a huge mistake okay time to start combining my accessories together first up spectre boots then the blue horseshoe balloon obsidian shield and I think that’s about it i guess I’ll just slap on the band of regeneration to fill in my last accessory slot now it’s time to make the rusted dagger so I need to make the wooden sword then let’s smelt eight iron bars okay iron broadsword made and oh god and now I can make the rusted dagger i obviously won’t use this but let’s just test it out okay got myself a dummy over here three two one oh you know what if I got this earlier on it would be a pretty good weapon probably even better than the grass dagger this is also a material which can be transformed into the pale rapier however I do need the katana which is sold from the traveling merchant I believe and the exotic scimitar which is dropped from the die trader so I can’t make this quite yet but I probably will later on for now let’s get ready to take on the wall of flesh oh wait romeo the traveling merchant has arrived are you selling the katana no you’re not okay back down I go all right made it to the edge of the world let’s drop in the voodoo doll to summon the wall three two one here we go let’s see how good this weapon is and yeah that is pretty damn good explosions let’s get closer to deal extra damage not too close though oh my god 1,000 health left and done wall of flesh has been defeated and now I’m in hard mode anything useful inside this treasure bag yeah warrior’s emblem i’ll take that i’m going to go ahead back into the crimson now to break some crimson altars to spawn in the hard mode ores we’ve got cobalt or calalcum and titanium okay that should be enough cobalt onto the oricalum that should be enough orical and lastly let’s go mine the titanium but before that with the leftover oralum bars and crystal shards I can make the crystal dagger this has 36 damage 22 crit chance gives the player the crystallized buff when attacking for 3 seconds this increases melee speed and movement speed by 50% that’s a lot oh and increases critical strike chance by 12% whenever I get the buff it shoots out a oral pedal towards the cursor shoots out three to five crystals instead of swinging a dagger okay oh my god hold up this thing’s got godly on it all right let’s go test it out oh oh okay this is like the crystal storm spell book combined with the Oracalum armor set bonus now is this better than the Dark Portal this one does around 700 damage per second while the dark portal oh yeah a lot better i won’t get rid of the dark portal completely because this is a material and it can be upgraded later on to the cursed portal okay back to mining and that is enough titanium with the titanium bars I’m going to craft the titanium armor sets and now I’m going to need myself a pair of wings so let’s head up to a sky island to farm for some souls of flight all right that’s enough souls of flights and now I can craft myself angelings it’s about time I take on the mechanical bosses so let’s go farm the materials in order to summon them okay got enough souls of knights and that is enough souls of light okay all the mech bosses have been made and it just turned into day so let’s wait until the next night to summon them all right it is officially night time so the first mechanical boss that I’ll be taking on is going to be the twins three two one here we go not sure how this is going to play out range kind of sucks but I think it should be fine the bosses will just dash right into him all right second phase for spasmatism 3,000 more health and dead okay just resonator now second phase and done all right next up the destroyer and I’m going to see which one’s better i’ll start off with the crystal dagger and if that doesn’t do so well I’m going to switch over back to the dark portal here we go on the right side so that pedal is able to pierce and we’re dealing around 1,000 damage per second not bad okay let’s switch over ooh this one is it this deals a lot more damage actually you know what it doesn’t i thought it did okay back to the crystal dagger then less than 50% health now oh my god we are so close to dying and done a bit of a close call for that boss but we managed to defeat it and lastly I think I do have enough time so let’s just rush down Skeleletron Prime oh a bit too close there i’m just trying to get as much damage in as possible especially with my armor set bonus 5,000 more health let’s get some distance away ow come on 1,000 more 200 more heal up all right all three mechanical bosses have been defeated so now that I have all three souls from the mech bosses I can craft the Cursed Portal this weapon has 79 damage 35% crit chance and just by looking at it I think everything is the same yes so it still doubles my melee damage increases crit chance by 30% melee speed by 15 and increases defense by 10 this is just for the regular Dark Portal and then this one yeah nothing really changed there but what if I attack let’s see oh the number of projectiles doubled oh my god even the death sicles it’s now at five rather than three okay let’s check out the DPS solid 1,000 damage per second if I get up close like this ooh all right almost reaching 2,000 now there is also one more dagger that I saw and that is the holy dagger so this one has 43 damage 31 crit chance gives the player the refreshed buff when the dagger is held for 3 seconds without attacking this buff doubles melee damage increases melee speed by 15% and crit chance by 50 whenever I get the refreshed buff it spawns a holy explosion and hitting enemies heal me okay so looks like I’ll be pretty much swapping between these two weapons this one’s going to be for when I want to deal as much damage as possible and the holy dagger is when I become low health okay let’s check out the holy explosion oh that was it but how much damage will it deal 182 100 okay that’s the highest 222 yeah I don’t know about this explosion cuz if I’m attacking then it just won’t trigger at all now let’s check out the amount of health I get whenever I hit an enemy oh okay so I get two health every hit let’s go craft the pickaxe axe and then head down the jungle to look for the planter bulb and to mine some chloropites with the chlorophy I’ll be able to upgrade the holy dagger into the sacrificial dagger oh is that the planter bulb yes it is all right that didn’t take long at all okay the arena is pretty much all complete but before I break the bulb to summon Planter I’m going to go craft myself the sacrificial dagger and hopefully 131 is enough all right let’s make the sacrificial dagger this has 66 damage 35 crit chance and basically the effects are the same just like the cursed portal so let’s make it oh my god all right got godly on it let’s see anything different with the damage oh it’s a lot higher okay and then when I attack it heals me for three points of health instead of two let’s go reforge this cursed portal you know what i will take that okay let’s head back to the jungle for the boss fight here we go three two one uh where where is it oh there it is all right let’s try to get it to the center of the arena and then let’s just fly around it yeah this weapon is really strong wow basically already second base oh my god look at all those explosions 3,000 damage per second well then that’s all done so next up is Golem made it into the boss room and what the heck is this this has to be the most odd looking arena I’ve ever seen okay let’s go block this off so that no monsters can leak in let’s also get rid of these spikes and that should be it let’s just start it up oh my 7,000 damage per second i saw that holy crap why did it do so much damage oh my okay I’m taking too much damage here head is down though i think I’m dead here i wasn’t paying attention no keep going dodge dodge dodge dodge dodge no no come on no i killed it i killed it oh I was so amazed by the damage I was dealing i wasn’t really dodging the attacks or paying attention to my health okay made it back into the boss room let’s pick up the treasure bag anything new no same old next up I’m going to summon the solar eclipse to get my hands on the broken hero sword here it comes the first mothan and damn no broken hero sword this time here’s another one come on yes there we go oh I’m dead okay I got it now let’s combine the cursed portal and sacrificial dagger to make the terra dagger there we go oh I’m excited terra dagger so this weapon has 86 damage 42% crit chance gives me the Terra power buff when the dagger is held for 3 seconds without attacking honestly not a fan of those i like the ones where it actually triggers when I do attack but anyways this buff increases melee damage by 65% crit chance by 30 increases melee speed and defense by 12 whenever I get the buff then I shoot terror beams towards the cursor let’s check that out oh yeah there it is then normally shoots sword projectiles towards the cursor which looks like this and then has a chance to cause a chlorite blast on mele hits let’s see oh yeah there it is oh and I still get to keep my life steal and I’m dead too bad the projectiles aren’t the updated version of the terror blade otherwise I think it would have made this weapon a lot better before I head to the dungeon to take on the lunatic cultist I need to upgrade my armor i can’t be sticking with the titanium armor because the set effect is basically useless when it comes to taking on Moonlord and even the Lunatic Altus so let’s head back to the jungle get some more chloropites and farm some turtle shells so that I can make the turtle armor and then eventually turn it into the beetle armor okay I should be good on chlorite okay and that is enough turtle shells and I should have enough beetle husks for the beetle armor so let’s make some chlorop bars turtle armor first and then the beetle armor and for the body armor I’m just going to make the beetle shell cuz that one gives the most defense all right 85 defense time to take on the lunatic cultist here we go oh my god should I be like not attacking to let my character get the buff and then attack for more DPS i’m not sure which way is more optimal let’s just make things simple and keep on attacking oops okay that’s not going to matter too much right kill it kill it kill it there we go down goes the solar pillar ooh and I can make the solar explosion with the fragments 117 damage 33 crit chance gives me the energized buff when the dagger is held for 3 seconds again without attacking this buff doubles melee damage increases crit chance by 8% that is quite low and doubles movement speed whenever I get the buff it shoots out a solar eruption towards the cursor and then shoots explosive solar fireballs i think that’s just my normal attack let’s check it out ooh wait okay these projectiles reach to the ends of my screen that is good that is actually very good especially for Moonlord whoa oh so it’s actually the soul eruption okay come on godly okay demonic onto the next pillar oh my god I’m moving so fast okay how much damage does it do with the soul eruption okay I think that’s pretty normal and then now just normal attack yeah that’s just way better i love the spread of the attack too makes it pretty easy to land my hits against the enemy okay Stardust Killer has been destroyed two more to go let’s see if I can use the Stardust fragments for another dagger oh I don’t think so okay maybe the vortex pillar or nebula pillar will have one probably not though okay down goes the nebula pillar one more to go can I make a nebula dagger please no I can’t that’s a bummer all right time to destroy the last pillar oh my god everything just clicked in at this moment so I wasn’t really supposed to hold down the attack button but rather just tap that’s how I’m able to trigger the buff while attacking oh my god why did it just click in now yeah look at that i’m dealing so much damage now oh okay well now I know what to do let’s use this method against Moon Lord oh boy here we go and attack keep on tapping yeah look at that 5,000 damage per second oh my god i’ve been playing the dagger class all Wait what i clicked oh my god okay but as I was saying I was playing the dagger class pretty much all wrong this entire time jesus okay fly over one hand’s down going to shoot again fly over okay other hand’s dead and okay just a core oh teleport teleport teleport woo teleport again and come on we’re done i am so much stronger using this method okay the video isn’t over quite yet because there’s just one more dagger to make and that is the darkest dagger so I already have the terod dagger wooden dagger enchanted dagger sky protector so I just need the seedling storm dagger candy corn dagger shock dagger space dagger and the cat’s paw luckily I did get the meoware so I can turn this into the cat’s paw but for the rest I’m going to have to go farm for them let’s go for the seedling first so I’m going to have to take on Planter once again but this one also requires the prehistoric dagger so let’s go make that first okay that one’s made then I need another turtle shell and the seedler by the way if you guys don’t understand why I did the tapping method it’s because the timer doesn’t get reset whenever I attack but rather it starts off at where it left off so for example it counts down starting at 3 seconds then I attack when it has 2 seconds left for it to trigger the buff when I attack it’ll freeze the timer for that split second and then start again from two seconds okay found another planter bulb let’s go all done now can I get the seedler yes I can and there’s the turtle shell now I can make the seedling this only has 34 damage 29 crit chance gives the nature’s power buff uh this one deals double melee damage increases crit chance by 100% and increases the defense by 12 whenever I get the buff it shoots exploding seeds from my player and then hitting enemies normally spawns spores around them oh can’t tell if that’s good or not it says it’s dealing around 1,000 damage per second so I think it’s pretty good but the thing is I just have to get really close to enemies first onto the next one which is the shock dagger and luckily it is a Martian madness right now so I can collect the Martian conduit plating okay Martians have been defeated and I managed to get well over 100 Martian conduit plating let’s go take out my crystal dagger and now I can make it 70 damage 33 crit chance the buff doubles my damage increases crit chance by 8% and doubles movement speed getting the buff shoots an electrosphere missile towards the cursor so let’s not attack okay looks like that shoots out three to five lightning bolts instead of swinging a dagger oh okay how much damage 1,400 not bad and then in order to get my hands on the space dagger and storm dagger I’m going to have to create the corroded dagger when used during the day summons the shadow thief NPC so let’s use it right away there he is somewhere oh there he is and now he is selling Yeah the storm dagger and space dagger along with the Lazardian dagger let’s check out this one first so this has 147 damage 59 crit chance gives the player the guardian defense buff this buff increases melee damage by 50% and doubles defense but it sets my life regen to zero and dealing melee hits confuses enemies and have a chance to cause a stunning explosion all right this is while attacking right yeah oh my god look at my defense 93 to 186 okay next up storm dagger and oh I need more money let’s just sell my glorified bars i don’t think I need them anymore okay I think I have enough now yes I do storm dagger first 119 damage 36 crit chance gives the storm shield buff and this one increases defense by 12 life regeneration by six and grants knockback immunity so right away I don’t think this is going to be very good it shoots storm blasts that split into storm balls upon death ooh wait that’s really pretty wow and if I position myself correctly I can reach up to 4,000 damage per second okay I stand corrected this is pretty good then it has a 10% chance to do three times the damage okay next up the space dagger 147 damage 29 crit chance gives me the star strength buff while attacking this increases life regen defense and doubles movement speed every melee hit causes a barrage of stars to rain from the sky is this going to be like the star wrath yeah yes it is oh and I just Oh I just hold down oh my god this is like the enchanted dagger oh it’s going up there 5,800 damage per second up to 6,000 there we go i saw it so all I need now is just the cat’s paw and the candy corn dagger which I’m not sure how to get so I need three cat licenses and then I need 150 rainbow bricks i can only collect those when it rains so let’s sleep until that happens oh there we go okay got enough and Cat’s Paw Maid 172 damage 25% crit chance gives me the Crazy Kitty buff this increases melee damage by 50% crit chance by 12 doubles my movement speed and increases melee speed getting the buff shoots rainbow bolts around the blood though coming out now the last dagger I need is just the candy corn dagger so let’s go summon the pumpkin moon okay I’m not sure why it hasn’t dropped yet i’ve killed a bunch of pumpkins i mean the candy corn rifle dropped but I don’t see the candy corn dagger maybe the new NPC sells it after I defeat the pumpkin man okay that’s the end of the pumpkin moon let’s go summon out the shadow chief again now are you selling it yes you are okay so this one has 99 damage 21% crit chance and gives the prehistoric power buff is that not the same as this one it is yeah it is exactly the same effect but the difference between this one is that whenever I get the buff it shoots an explosive jacko’lantern towards the cursor and heals the player also hitting enemies has a chance to cause a fiery explosion let’s see oh there it is this is pretty bad okay but now let’s not attack and let’s just tap yeah a little better there’s also one more dagger that I saw the light show 94 damage 39% crit chance shoots a small beam that ignores tiles and does constant damage gives the player the prismatic power buff when the dagger is held for 3 seconds without attacking this buff doubles melee damage increases life regen by five but halves defense and melee hits cause enemies to drop more gold and have a chance to spawn homing stars interesting let’s plop down a dummy and go ham oh my god that’s what the beam looks like that is nice and what happens if I just tap okay tapping doesn’t really do that much of a difference for me i think holding it is better to be honest but anyways I should have all of the daggers now let’s take him out here we go where is it there it is darkest dagger 127 damage 33% critical strike chance gives the player the darkened power buff this doubles melee damage increases crit chance by 100% increases melee speed increases defense by 16 and doubles movement speed whenever I do get the buff it also heals me and fires a devastating beam that inflicts shadow pain and is capable of grabbing enemies shadow pain causes an extreme amount of damage over time well let’s get this reforged first oh my god oh my god that is so expensive oh legendary oh wait it’s pushing the dummies what i thought it grabs him oh it does oh wait it’s lifting them up okay I have to test this out on Moon Lord here we go uh oh it’s kind of jittering the Moonler’s hand come on move move move nope a little bit teleport okay that hand is done it doesn’t really do much i guess it only affects uh smaller enemies more okay let’s try tapping and then I gain 50 health whenever the buff activates ow ow ow ow oh it does affect Mulard wait it’s freezing him oh my god he’s not moving okay so it does affect bosses all right that’s going to be it for the video In this video I try beating Terraria using daggers only. I installed a mod that adds a whole arsenal of daggers each having their own special effects. There’s even one that requires a bunch of previous daggers that can be used to create the zenith equivalent. Will I be able to defeat Moon Lord using these weapons let alone even make it to that point and just how strong is the final dagger? Let’s go find out!
