what if minecraft had an infinite render distance?

what if Minecraft had an infinite render distance the max render distance is only 32 but there’s a mod where you can go way higher making it seem like it’s infinite and you don’t need a NASA PC because right here from where you stand the terrain looks normal but if you look closer you’ll see the farther away something is the lower quality it is which is what a lot of other games do this might look like a bunch of colorful blocks but once you get closer it’s just a couple flowers and you don’t really notice these things unless you zoom in and just stare at them if you add a shader pack you can make your world look even more insane and it’s not that laggy just hope your world doesn’t end up being 100 GB

  1. I play on Steamdeck and I got constant 40fps with Distant Horizon, around 60 mods, shaders and texturepack within a giant city I build

  2. you can also use nvidum for the render distance and quality isn't reduced.
    There is a con:
You need a RTX NVIDA GPU (there might be like one or two gtx which also works)
The distance scales on VRAM rather than GPU power

  3. this mod is one of my favorites it's so good. super easy on the computer too!! the only downside is that not all shader packs work with Distant Horizons!!!

  4. Guys it wont fry your pc, as LOD doesnt affect pc's, the whole reason your pc was laggin on 32 was bc all the chunks textures were loaded, execpt the blocks that are covered by other blocks
