MINECRAFT JUST ADDED THE COPPER GOLEM, COPPER CHESTS, + COPPER GEAR

Oh my god, my Shayla. My beautiful, beautiful, amazing Shayla. Oh my god, my armor too. What in the world, guys? Welcome back, Tiffy. Top of the morning to you. Or by the time the preview finally releases after being delayed for like 3 hours. Oh, good afternoon. A brand new mob has been added to the game. This is insane. Over the course of today’s video, we’ll take a look at this brand new mob, talk about it, and take a look at the new gear. all of those juicy items and even more. Baby, it’s update season. You smash that like button right now. Subscribe for even more videos and let’s do this. Minecraft preview over on the main menu inside of this update. When we go to create a brand new world, we’ve got oursel a brand new experimental toggle. Welcome to drop 3 2025. Now, the devs have declared in multiple places everything that we’re seeing today is only the beginning of drop three. I I think this thing is going to be insanely big. And I wonder what will come next. You go ahead and make your best prediction down below. It’s time we head to the mines. Oh my god. But before we go to the mines, we go into the settings menu. And what have the devs done to it? They went ahead and and spaced everything out inside of this menu. That is that’s definitely a thing. They said they’re working on it. So stay tuned for even more changes, but like uh bro, what? All right. Now, but for real, here we are over at the local mine. We find ourselves a little bit of copper ore. Of course, in this scenario, we’re early game. We use the wood pickaxe. Can I use the wooden pickaxe? No, I can’t. Of course, I knew that copper ore, I mine it all the time. I mine it with a little bit of stone. I get the copper nuggets all over the place just like normal. Now, typically in Minecraft survival world, I will go ahead and find myself a little bit of coal, make a furnace, whatever. I went ahead and fasttracked it over to the crafting table with some ingots though. And oh my god, we can make a They said they would never do this. The copper pickaxe. Now lookie here. I don’t like to be that guy, but yesterday we kind of called it when we got to our theoretical section of the copper golem copper update teaser thing. We talked all about maybe copper armor coming to the game. Oh my god, here we are. A copper pickaxe. I can go ahead and craft myself one of these things. Break a block. And look at this thing. Compared to stone, it’s kind of hard to not only. But compared to stone, it’s slightly quicker than a stone pickaxe. If I were to go ahead and find myself a little bit of coal mining, then I realized on bedrock edition. I don’t think I can see the statistical elements, but it has a little bit more durability than stone. Oh, back over to the craft table. This is such an amazing day. This drop is going to be gamechanging because bam, what is that? But for the first time since what? The Nether update, a brand new set of armor. Maybe it’s copper. So, the thing with the copper armor, if I am to understand everything correctly, this starts out all coppery looking and well, it’s going to stay all coppery looking. Yeah, usually my flow with the snapshots as I jump into it. I will test out some of the stuff a little bit here, but basically, I’m jumping into the preview blind today. It took so long. Anyway, back inside of our world copper armor. It will never oxidize. It’s pretty clean looking, nice and orange. Statistically speaking, this armor is just a little bit worse than iron armor. We can see the difference right there. When I bump on the other gear, my armor bar slightly fills up a little bit more with iron. Like, what is that? Two and a half. A little bit better. Oh, mama. But we slide into the crafting table here. You thought it was just a copper pickaxe? No. Look up. We have a copper sword, a copper shovel, a copper axe, and a copper hoe as well. The entire tool set. Now, you better believe it. Over the next couple of days, I’ll be testing this stuff. But I love the aesthetic of the copper tools. It almost looks like a little bit pinkish, dare I say. Oh, pig. Why are you run? No, I would never. A Minecraft sheep. We swing at you with a copper sword. What is that? Two slices and you’re done. And hold on a minute. That red glow that looks way less red than before. Is that a secret update? The copper tree axe. Meanwhile, we go over here and chop it down a little bit. And wow, that’s quick and smooth. That feels really good. The copper shovel. Oh, you already thought so. Look at this thing. It is so speedy. Not as speedy as iron shovel, but definitely a little bit better than stone shovel. Now, look here. The big honker with this is keep in mind how common and easy it is to find copper. Get a lot of it inside of your world. What the devs are going for with this update here is trying to make copper a little bit more useful and less of a general community meme where it’s like, “Hey, I got a load of copper, but like I can’t really do anything with it. Oh my god. I can’t believe it. We’re getting a whole new set of tools and armor. And they look so so good. Ah, and look at the copper, the copper, the copper, the copper. It’s everywhere. Now, when it comes to iron ore, they haven’t done anything to it quite yet, but it does make me wonder if they’re going to change ore generation at all in this update cycle. Which, by the way, this is being confusingly marketed as both a drop and an update. inside of a dev diary that was dropped on the same day as this preview here. The devs called this thing an update. H. So, I don’t know. Right now, it’s a drop, but I guess it’s also an update. Now, back inside of our world here with the crafting table, or actually with a furnace, if I got my hands on a little bit of coal, I can craft myself a brand new item. So, go ahead and give this thing a little bit of time. And bam, copper nuggets. Oh my god. And over in the crafting table, one ingot down into nine nuggets just like gold and iron. Guys, it’s just a theory, a watery. But over inside of the crafting table, iron nugget. Go ahead and get nine of those things. Circle, torch, lantern, copper. Oh my god. Now that we have nuggets, we could theoretically make like say copper chains. Maybe the ingots more of a crafting recipe. We could heck make some bars or please, please, please, an oxidizing lantern inside of our worlds. Oh my god, devs, hear me out. Now, listen here. Over the next couple of days, I’ll be diving even deeper into this copper update, digging into the mechanics, statistics, etc. You don’t have any of this goodness on Java quite yet, so it will take me a little bit longer than usual to test. So, god. Four years ago this year, the copper golem was a proposed mob. This is probably the most popular, wanted, sought after mobbo vote loser. Now, when this mob was initially proposed and lost, it was said to interact with copper buttons inside of Minecraft. Well, oh, baby, throw that idea out the window because this new functionality is so much better. All righty. So, the mist of the legends, I’ve studied them. A golem. We all know how it’s done. We place whatever block down, place a car pumpkin on top, and we get a brand new mob in the world. Well, our copper golem friend is even more affordable. We’re going to place one single block down. Just a little bit of copper. And then we’re going to place a car pumpkin on top of it. And oh my god, look at this thing, dude. Oh, you interact with a chest. It’s eyes. Oh, the sounds. We got a brand new block in the game every single time. And we get a new golem with a little lightning rod. Oh, dude, what are you doing? What are you doing? Okay, so I haven’t opened a chest quite yet. This is my first time trying this out, but we got a new chest. All right. And then copper golem. Dude, I could I can watch you dance all day long. Oh my god. And now even better here, if we take a different state of copper, it will work as well. The copper golem, we can create different oxidization levels of this moth, this creature right here. And look it, they all interact with the other copper chest as well. I’ll play one more and done. Oh, dude. Dude, I’m so hyped. I said I was going to freak out if this is going to happen and I’ve been freaking out for like a couple of hours now, dude. Oh my god, look at these things. So, the copper golem. Here’s the mechanic. So, let’s say I had a normal Minecraft chest over here. Then maybe there’s so many of you. I want one-on-one. Ah, so if I do this, they don’t have very much health, but if I take them out, I will get a little bit of copper ingots. no experience it seems like, but it’s a little quieter. Now, this copper chest, a brand new item. Can I break it with my hand? Well, I could, but it will take a really, really long time. On top of that, when I break it with my hand, I’ll get nothing. So, instead, the smart way to do things, break it with a stone pickaxe or better, and you’ll be able to get yourself the copper chest that was spawned in. Now that we’re in a little bit more of a romantic one-on-one situation, inside of the copper chest, I can open it up and drop something. Let’s say maybe half of those plank. Wa, dude, you just took them. All right, we’ll go with all the planks. So, if you saw right there, the copper golem took out 16 planks and is now holding it. Now, how this is going to work here. If I take some of the planks, or even just one of them, and put them inside of a different chest nearby, the copper golem is going to wander around with these blocks that it’s holding and basically look for a match. In time, it should realize that this chest has the match. H. So, go ahead and do the thing. Do the thing. Do the thing. In the meantime, we’ll go ahead and queue up some other things inside of this chest. Basically, just throw a bunch of random junk inside of it. And then, hey, hey, dude. We try it one more time. We’ll go ahead and put some planks inside of that chest. Any minute here. Shouldn’t matter if it’s a trap chest, but fine. Fine. We’ll make it into a normal chest. And maybe it does matter because Oh my god, look at this thing. Now it’s interacting with the chest and taking the items from its hand, putting them into the chest. Now he goes over here and opens this up again, doing a little bit of things. And look at it. It’s using the chests inside of my world for me. It is an auto sorder. It’s a mod that will walk around. It’ll take things from one container like that. Look for matches nearby. Oh, he’s armed. All right. Who armed the copper golem? Oh my god, dude. So, if it can find a match for an item, let’s say I had an organized storage room, then basically if it’s carrying an item, it will go into that chest where the match is and actually deposit whatever that item is that it’s carrying. Go ahead, do give me my trident back. Oh my god, this is revolutionary. Item sorders, organizing your base, your storage. You’re going to want to have a copper chest now. You could basically have a storage room with a copper chest inside of it. You have a copper golem that is living inside of it. and hopefully putting your trident back and then it will go over to the chest, pick up items outside of it, go and put it in other chests and maybe even just steal your trident. Dude, don’t make me. So, my next big question here is every single time we make a copper golem, we get a chest. Is there a copper double chest? Oh my god, there is. There’s a copper double chest, too. Now, these new copper chests, Mojang has done one of the coolest things in the world ever with the crafting recipe. Oh, and by the way, the oxidization level of the copper golem does not matter. They can all interact with other copper chests. So now I’ve got one armed with a mace, one armed with a crossbow, one armed with a trident. This is I I’ve literally made an army. But the copper chest, I will not be able to craft one of these things until I pick it up. And the only way to find one of these things inside of your world is to craft a copper golem. Like spawn one into your world, then take the chest that drops it every single time, break it with your pickaxe, and pick it up. After you’ve done that, and only after you’ve done that, you will then be able to take a normal chest and upgrade it inside of a crafting table with copper ingots. Copper Golem science. What happens if it’s holding your trusty mace? If I slaughter the copter golem, it does not drop the item right now. That feels like definitely a bug, a glitch. There’s no way it’s meant to work like that. Dude, give me my Give me my armor back, man. If I walk up to a copper golem and try and use an item on it, like basically give it to it, I does not care about the carcass of its old dear friend. And dropping an item on the ground as well will do nothing. The copper golem will only pick up items from a chest entity. Putting items on the ground all day long will not work. Also, the copper golem does not seem to be able to take items out of a normal chest. It can only take items from a copper chest. I’m obsessed. I’m literally obsessed with this mob. I love how you craft it. I love how you get a chest in the world now. You could literally go mining inside of your world and get a bunch of copper chests for your decked out storage building and just like, oh my god. Wait, hold on a second. My first thought here is what if I went mining, found a bunch of copper, and literally just made copper golems for extra storage. Oh my god, this might be one of the biggest days in Minecraft community of all time. This is insane. What do you guys think about this new update already? Tell me your takes.
