A Cozy Night In The Fields – Stardew Valley
i pretty much play all of the games that you watch on this channel with no music to begin with because number one there’s copyright issues um that could arise at some point Now I’ve played this with music on YouTube There are no issues with copyright so don’t think that the guy is going around doing it now but he could That that’s the problem he could eventually or you know if something happened to him you know somebody that has the legal rights to it rather he sold the game or um you know he passed away or something and then the estate wanted to make a bunch of money off of it they could eventually come and claim you So I’m just that type of guy that I think way too far ahead and I’m way too uh paranoid which is uh partly why I made this channel was to help people like me that have anxiety and paranoia problems and overthink too much and can’t sleep because I have horrible uh times sleeping because of my stupid anxious brain and Yeah So Minecraft Stardo any game I play that I can I turn the music off just for the copyright reasons alone but also because I love the music in this game I really do But it does get repetitive you know when you’re playing spring and you hear the same song 30 days in a row in game and it just you just get tired of it because usually what I do is when I play these off air I will have something playing in the background which I won’t do obviously once again copyright but I listen to a podcast or I listen to some music you know or I would just listen to shows that I enjoy or just put on the news or whatever I want to listen to and I’ll just play that in the background instead of the music But when I record these no music no background noise no nothing I basically let the game’s ambience do the soundsscape So these videos are legitimately engineered as much as I can to be for sleep Now I was looking at uh different videos trying to do some research on this sort of content this um sleep content basically And what I learned is that most of it is ASMR and there’s pretty much nobody that does what I do At least I can’t find him That Let me take that back I’m not saying I’m super original or I’m like you know the king of this thing I’m saying even the channels that do have videos about fall asleep to you know Game X they only did a few of those and then the rest of it is regular let’s play content or um you know little video essays Like none of them are dedicated to sleep content period Nothing else Which is fine but I want to do that for you I want to basically have it where when you see peaceful pixels or you see uh whatever I want you to know that you’re going to be walking into a video that’s meant to help you relax and sleep And that there will be no explosions There will be no you know screaming and Call of Duty and any of that that I sit here and try to pick the games that are the most appropriate for sleep and relaxation which Call of Duty isn’t And I’ve seen people play Oblivion as a sleep game and I I will play it cuz I love Oblivion but I do not I couldn’t fall asleep to Oblivion because of all the talking from the other characters not being exactly the most relaxing things and you know the the combat and the banging and the clanking of the armor and you know I I feel like that’ll kind of hard to fall asleep to That’s just me So I may eventually do it but I’ll try to maybe turn the sound effects down or something to make it where it’s not you know 3:00 in the morning you’re hearing clang bang clang clang clang you know a bunch of racket that keeps you up all night So if I do play Oblivion I will probably just turn the sound down a lot and um try to mix it in a way where it’s not incredibly loud and you know a bunch of noise and all of that But Stardew is probably the second most searched for this sort of fall asleep while I play thing is Stardew is number two Minecraft’s number one and I don’t know what number three would be I think it was cozy What was it called uh something glade tiny glade or something And I’m terrible at building beautiful settlements So we may eventually play that Maybe eventually We’ll see And I just sold a bunch of stuff I kind of didn’t want to but it’s fine We’ll get more of it later It’s not a big deal We don’t have much for seeds but it’s fine We’ll take a run to Jojo real quick and grab what we can Hey Mayor Lewis How you doing buddy i think his name is Lewis Is it Lewis cuz that’s what the guy’s name was from Harvest Moon Actually it is Hey I was doing my nightly rounds and I noticed that your first parsnip was ready Congratulations I appreciate you Are parsnips even a thing i know turnipss are a thing and that’s what I always whenever I thought about like parsnips or whatever right i think they’re a real I think they’re a real thing Um sometimes I say stupid stuff because I don’t really go to the produce aisle a lot but in Harvest Moon at least the games I played like Back to Nature which eventually became Friends of Mineral Town um there was no parsnips It was it was turnups They were the the default cheapo you know 4day growth cycle plant that you started out with cuz you were broke and couldn’t afford the better seeds or whatever And I thought about maybe playing that eventually um Friends of Mineral Town the the remake cuz I have it in my library and I played an ungodly amount of of Back to Nature ungodly amount of Harvest Moon 64 which I wish they would remake Maybe we’ll eventually get a Harvest Moon 64 remake I hope would be nice As long as they get that inventory system uh sorted out I was thinking about Harvest Moon 64 last night actually and I was just like “Oh my god bro.” Just remember that inventory system you had to pause and select an item and it like had this really loud chime like really loud shrill chime and you had to do that over and over for every single item that you wanted to take out And it was just like if you wanted to harvest anything hence the name Harvest Moon it it was just it was just a horrific assault on your ears and it was also incredibly tedious but we played it We didn’t know we didn’t think about nothing but I remember playing uh Back to Nature for the first time which once again Friends of Min Mineral Town you probably remember it as but it was originally called Back to Nature for the PlayStation before they did the whole Friends of uh before they did the whole Friends of Mineral Town Story Seasons all that It was called Harvest Moon: Back to Nature And I just remember being able to cycle through my inventory and being able to uh put an item in my rug sack with just a button without ever having to pause And it was like oh you know compared to Arvis Move 64 which 64 is fine but it’s incredibly bare bones Like it’s incredibly bare bones with a terrible terrible terrible awful inventory system It has a certain vibe to it though beyond that But the thing with 64 is there’s really no way to make money outside of crops really I mean I don’t think there’s any crafting There might have been but you know you could raise animals you could do crops but you had to do crops to get the animals And no matter what you did you pretty much had to deal with that inventory system So if they fixed the inventory system and maybe expand the town a little bit it’ll be all right cuz the town was incredibly small I was like what four or five screens if that and those even those screens are really small but it did have a certain vibe to it that was really nice actually I will admit it did have a nice vibe to it and uh there’s a very sad scene that I won’t spoil that happens uh later in the game that was depressing but you can actually avoid that entirely I leave I’ll just say this Don’t talk to the grandma She She’s sweet She’s a wonderful little lady Don’t talk to her Just do not talk to her ever and you’ll be fine I forgot we don’t have Stardo expanded installed We might eventually do that So I wanted to go with vanilla for now just because I haven’t experienced vanilla in a long long time Hey Marty I’m sure Scooter would be a little shy at first It takes a while for animal to get comfortable in a new setting Not my boy Not my Bubba Bubba was never a shy boy Papa was shy Papa was I’ll tell you a little story about Papa Little uh little funny story about her I love my girl and I she was so sweet this morning She immediately came into my bathroom when I had sat down to use the bathroom and she was just like “Hey here I give you some attention.” And she immediately gave me kisses and everything Sweet baby But cuz she loved me and I love her and she’s so cuddly But um Bubba or Papa So when dad was still alive um and I brought them here and I brought them here in 2018 and we moved back in with dad me Bubba and Papa the two little weenie dogs that I had or have I have Papa still but Bubba passed away Rest in peace baby I love you man Oh I still do And um Bubba immediately and his name was Scooter but I called him Bubba a lot Scooter immediately took to his grandfather to my dad I mean like immediately I got Scooter in here and he immediately jumped in his grandpa’s lap and he found a spot and that was it Like he found his spot and he kept that spot you know every day until he uh his grandpa eventually passed away last year And Papa though she was she was a lot more shy And I think she was shy too when I first got her She was kind of a shy girl at first when I first got her Scooter was immediately within a day or two just you know loveydovey But the little girl was a little bit more shy and you know stayed towards him and didn’t really give me the attention she does now But what happened was to get to the story Um I used to sit on dad’s couch and I would talk to him about stuff and Papa would sit in my lap Well Scooter was already over there with grandpa and she would just go she like we had a like the it was a couch and then it was a table like an end table and then it was dad’s chair So it was almost like a little bridge between the two and Papa would sneak over there real slow right across that table and she would just look at her grandpa She just look at him and she would just look at him all big eyed at him just like you know as big as golf balls as they say And she um dad would be like “Oh hi pretty girl Hi pretty girl Want to sit with me you want to come over here and sit down?” And she would just stare at him And then like she would run back to me She just scary like turn around and run right back to me like like she was scared or something And then few minutes later or you know the next day or whatever she’d go over there and get a little closer stare at her grandpa and he hi pretty girl Want to sit with me i got a spot for you and all that And then Papa would just run back to me And then eventually she’ll just go over there She put a little paw on the on the uh chair like she was almost like asking permission if she could come over there with her grandpa And dad’s like “Come on pretty girl I got a spot for you right here.” And she did that for a while And eventually she um she did she did get into his chair with him And then she would stay there for maybe maybe like 10 15 seconds I guess And like she’d run right back to me and dad started calling that a visit just you know she would come for a visit and then she’d run back to me like cuz she would be like I ain’t sure about this kind of thing And eventually I swear to you it took her forever It took her like three or four years to finally go and sleep in the bed with him I I forgot where she would sleep before that but it took her for like three years for her to finally go to bed with her grandpa cuz Scooter I think he went to bed with grandpa immediately Um and dad you we had like five or six dogs at that point and they were all different sizes We had three weenie dogs we had a Chihuahua we had a big big old big burly American bulldog a a Jack Russell uh dachshund mix All of them would get in bed with dad It was a big mess And they would all get in bed and somehow none of them had to pee in the middle of the night and they would all stay in the bed till daytime And um eventually I went in there and dad was watching WWE cuz he loved WWE When I was growing up he was never a big fan of wrestling at all you know he he would I think he took me to a wrestling match once It was like a house show in Richmond but he never was in the WWE and he basically was watching something I don’t know who what match it was It doesn’t matter But I go in there to see what they’re doing and you know look at Papa and all that just to you know come see her And I go in there and he’s you know leaned back in his recliner watching it And I look and papa is on her back sitting vertically She is flipped on her little back with her little paws in the air just laid out looking all dreamy like right on under her grandpa’s left arm And I just looked I said “Papa what on earth?” And she just looked at me like “What?” So she eventually came around and loved her grandpa and eventually became incredibly comfortable with her grandpa but uh it took her a little while Little baby was shy at first And then she eventually loved the kids too I I don’t have any kids but um I have I have I have a couple of nephews and a niece It might they might have more kids now I don’t know I haven’t heard anything out of him in forever But anyway two nephews and a niece and they would come over So well the nephews but the niece never did Um they would come over and like watch you know WWE or whatever with Dan or play their Xbox whatever they used to do And Ha eventually got really clingy to them too And uh there was this one time with her and I never got along with the kid unfortunately Mainly because of his mother It wasn’t his fault at all but his mother was a mess We’ll just say she was a mess We’re not going to get into drama in this video but she was a she’s a mess And a lot of that caused uh me and the kid to never really bond at all or even you know talk through each other really because of her and uh the way she was So it’s her fault not his really And I you know when I did eventually have times alone with them I try to stay something You know I try to like look man you know your mama’s all screwed up and if y’all need us you know I’m here But the problem was just to put it out there his mama was very irresponsible I’ll be very nice about this She was very irresponsible And if I was to do my natural duty to try to bond with this kid to be like a a role model or like a uh a friend basically she would take that as license to basically make us raise her child for her And I didn’t want that because dad was you know in his 60s and he was already very sick and I was you know working full-time too to help him And I I couldn’t do it I was not going to be able to take care of a kid on top of dad and I didn’t want to cuz it was her responsibility and I wanted her to step up and be a good parent So that’s why I stayed out of it as much as possible But that’s a bit of a sidetrack Um but I just remember once when he was a little kid and he was staying over and I was never mean to him or anything I never got rude with him Uh I just I just tried to keep some distance so they wouldn’t get the idea that oh we can leave them up here for weeks at a time and you know go off and do our partying and everything and you know make y’all babysit him forever kind of thing So I just remember once he was watching a horror movie I don’t know what movie it was but um apparently it scared the little boy and um it scared him or something and dad said that he went in there and he grabbed Papa and he like he got Papa and picked her up out of dad’s lamp and took her in there with him to protect him So he he So she was always a very sweet baby She she still is She’s she’s in there now sleeping I think probably she might be outside of the door listening cuz she does like to cling to me a lot cuz she’s a weenie dog They’re very clingy very cuddly little monsters and you know they don’t care if you’re on the toilet or not They love you and they want to be right next to you kind of thing So I just remember that that the kid got scared of a movie or something and then next thing you know he’s like grabbing Papa and bringing her in there with him And by the way Papa’s real name is is Sneaky So if you hear me uh name something Sneaky or Scooter Scooter was Bubba the boy weenie dog and Sneaky is the little girl weenie dog That’s And Bubba and Papa Sneaky and Scooter which dad named them that Uh they are brother and sister from the same litter So I remember I’ll tell you a story about me getting them in case that helps at all So dad had this really beautiful big old fat weeny dog named Flopsy and she was adorable And Flopsy has passed away too unfortunately She died years ago but we had and she was friends with Bubba and Papa but Flopsy got old and she had cancer and yeah same thing that happened to Scooter unfortunately heart tumor So rest in peace both I love all of y’all We We had so many dogs pass from cancer at this point That’s what happened to the American Bulldog That’s what happened to uh Bubba That’s what happened to Flopsy We don’t know what happened to the Jackson She just got old and passed away one day and we didn’t even know She was blind and uh going deaf and the little Chihuahua was eventually going pretty blind and deaf on her own and that was sad to watch But you know we gave her the best life we could But Bubba and Papa were brother and sister and they always loved each other They were always together You could not separate those two If one if you picked up one to take them to take a shower or go to the vet the other one would get incredibly upset and they would just were super close like that Well I was living alone as I do now And I was a little bit paranoid about this house because I don’t know it just had weird noises and creeks and it was an old old house like a 100-y old house and it just had all these weird sort of noises at night And um I don’t know if it really was in the best area I see some reports saying that that town’s a bad place but I didn’t ever see anything I I actually want to move back there eventually um and buy that house I would love to because I I love that house and I’m probably eventually going to buy it if it ever goes back on the market uh for a decent price that is But it’s going to need a lot of work too It It’s definitely going to need insulation for sure And it’s going to probably need a new roof I’m sure and some other stuff done to it But it it was a very nice house And I was sitting there and I’m just like you know I kept thinking to myself I want a weenie dog I want a weenie dog And I kept I’ll talk to dad and just tell him you know I need to get me one like flops Well weenie dogs are incredibly hard to find at least where I live and you know because people don’t want to give them up for obvious reasons because they’re so sweet and cuddly and troublefree for the most part So I finally say “You know what screw it.” And I go on Craigslist and I’m like “I’m looking for a dachshun a female.” Woman text me about a week later and she’s like “Oh I got two of them I got a boy and a girl.” I said “Okay.” I said “Well I just want the girl.” Cuz I didn’t obviously I had not met Bubba yet I said “I just want the girl or whatever.” And she’s like “Oh well $200 for the girl.” And then she said and I quote “I would really prefer if you took both of them because they’re incredibly close.” And I’m thinking this woman’s trying to just milk me a bit or whatever but I was just like I can’t afford it cuz I really couldn’t I couldn’t afford another 200 So I’m just like I can’t afford that She goes “Well you can have both of them for 200.” All right You know so I I thought about it for a little bit you know not too long about you know an hour or so And I called Dad I’m like “Well this woman’s offering me a couple of weenie dogs and you know 200 bucks and can you spot me?” Cuz I didn’t have the money at that point I guess it was getting near the end of me living there anyway And he’s like “Sure yeah yeah yeah.” you know you know he just it’s like I’ll spot you Okay 200 bucks I go to Eden North Carolina which is apparently a pretty rough area I didn’t stay I wasn’t there long enough to to know Uh but I go down there to a Walmart and the I don’t know if they have multiple Walmarts but this was the Walmart there that I went to And I went down there and there she is in the parking lot with these two beautiful brown black and brown weenie dogs And they’re both panting and they’re on leashes and they’re super well behaved just standing there not barking not growling nothing They’re just looking at like “Hey who are you?” And I pay her and I take them both and put them in the back of my car you know and they just they just lay there They don’t make a bunch of racket They don’t protest They don’t nothing the super calm Took them home got them inside they sniffed everywhere in the entire house you know of course because they’re they’re Well first of all to the people that don’t know a weenie dog is a dachshun Doshach are hunting dogs They’re hounds you know they got the long you know long hot dog shaped body and the you know the big ear you know big ear flaps and all that And you know naturally as hunters they’re very curious of everything scentwise smell-wise So they smelled everything in the house Just every little corner they just walked around the entire house sniffing everything And then when they were done immediately as soon as they were done they got into what I used to call a weenie fight which is basically just like a little wrestling match between the two because they would just get in these little matches where one would give the other one the look is I would call it and then they get into like a wrestling match kind of playing around and you know they immediately got into a little you know one of their little play sessions or whatever and I thought that was adorable And then they calm down like you know they would stop the fight and stare at me for a second and then one of them would jump him I think it was usually Bubba would jump in my lap and kissy kissy kissy and then go right back to the to the fight again like I don’t know if they were celebrating or that they didn’t like her or what it was but I can’t imagine either one of them being like that with us because if you know when Bubba was separated from his grandpa at any amount of time he would freak out and cry Uh but with the with his original owner he didn’t care I don’t know what it was but he didn’t care He didn’t didn’t bother him one bit leaving her So but with his grandpa Oh my god when his grandpa went out that door Anytime I’d have to take dad to a doctor appointment anytime dad would go outside to check the mail anytime dad went outside to talk to a client that he had that anytime he went outside period Bubba was immediately throwing a massive tantrum the whole time whining crying barking howling ju just throwing a massive just worldending fit like he just couldn’t he just he was just mad and heartbroken and he acted like his whole world was ending when his grandpa would go outside But as soon as he came back of court he would immediately start howling again like hallelujah he’s finally back He loved that grandpa that baby He love his grandpa more than anything Whole wide world I prayed so much I prayed so much I swear to you I’m I’m a Christian man I’ve prayed so much that when Bubba passed away from his heart tumor that God take him immediately to his grandpa because grandpa died of a stroke last year in June And then Bubba died on May 8th uh this year and he died peacefully here at home We didn’t put him down because I couldn’t live with myself knowing that I had done that that I had ended you know his life and ended his life in a place that he hated which was the vet He hated the vet and you know always got upset and would get you know super nervous and scared So I didn’t want him to die you know scared alone miserable without me you know I don’t want to just be like “Here here he is.” Just you know goodbye you know kind of thing I I can’t imagine doing that to any dog no matter how painful they they feel like you know going up there and knowing that I’ll never see him again kind of I’m getting upset thinking about it Um I love you man That’s all I’ll say is I love you He was the best boy you could ever ask for All right let’s uh keep working in the mines Took a little break for breakfast Hopefully that little hint right there didn’t depress you too much It’s not my intention to depress people That’s why I try to stay away from those topics because sometimes it comes up and you want to hear about where I want to talk about the doggies But Pup’s fine and we’re just going to move on from that topic for now But he’s in a better place regardless and I did everything I could to take care of him He’ll always be my buddy regardless And we are Where is this there it is Finally the exit That was lucky First hit got an exit Very nice By the way I would appreciate it even though it’s probably a little late in the video for that but I appreciate it if you did just share a link with someone else Uh it is very hard to grow a channel let alone a gaming channel on YouTube at all So gaming channels are very hard to grow But this would you even call this a gaming well I guess so I guess it’s still gaming It’s it’s gaming related content but it’s more like aimed towards sleep rather than exciting you know in your face hilarious gameplay and epic moments Like I might have said in the previous session of recording this which you probably wouldn’t know if I didn’t even tell you that because of the way it’s edited but I do record these in chunks And that was one worry that I had up front was like how am I supposed to record eight hours of gameplay or how am I supposed to record these super long sessions and you know keep the energy and keep the um everything together and then I realized wait you know you can just you know pause the game save your spot come back later record again splice it all together as one big video And that’s what I’ve been doing and try to make it kind of seamless That way you don’t notice or if you do notice it’s not jarring It’s no new intro screen or no welcome back to this that or the other Almost out of energy No we are getting some We have anything we can eat Maybe this forest This This slime is just on me hard That sounded a little nasty Can we eat this it didn’t help much Maybe that’s one of the videos I should make is fall asleep while I explore the mines in Stardew That would be a neat concept instead of whatever I’m doing here that’s a little bit less focused I’m just starting out So I’m slowly figuring out how I want to title these and plan these out to be as relaxing as possible I’m already getting some decent feedback from fans of the other show that say that they uh enjoy this or this does help uh with the commentary and all which I’m glad that that’s the whole point This isn’t meant to be some big series that’s going to get um millions of views which maybe it will Who knows you know that’s you can always hope You can always hope for something like that But uh it would be funny if it turned out that this is the successful series you know more than Johnny Fox which as I’ve been working on setting this up I’ve really started thinking I’m like well I watch Think Media a lot and like all those other sort of YouTube builder things and I probably shouldn’t cuz a lot of it is BS but um some are good Like I like Nate Black I think he’s really good He’s he’s he’s insane I think he might be a little crazy but because he just comes off as someone that’s just you know probably sits up like you know till 3 in the morning drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes figuring out this YouTube system But he I like him I like Nate a lot Um otherwise he but he’s very intense Um I wouldn’t mind sitting down with Nate Black Maybe I’ll pay him one day to look over the channels and see what he thinks But uh point is uh one thing that Think Media who I do like I like Sean he sounds like a nice dude Uh he wrote a book that was pretty good Um he always talks about what is the value proposition of your video and with Johnny Fox I never really thought about it much I was just like well I just want to make people laugh I guess and you know that’s it But like there was no real I couldn’t pitch Johnny Fox to you in an elevator I I couldn’t be like “Oh well this is exactly what it’s about Is this exact uh topic?” Abigail saying she thinks her dad’s going to cook dinner tonight Apparently he’s very bad at it Sort of like Stan Marsher cooking with Jack even Um but he he says “What’s the value proposition?” Well the value proposition here is I help you relax and sleep And like who’s your audience and you can’t pick everybody but I would say uh people 18 to 35 who need help sleeping because of stressful situations you know or anybody Anybody could watch it I it doesn’t you know I don’t think this is really aged for like like there’s no age restriction on who can watch this But I’m saying my main demographic is probably 18 to 35 Oh god I’m past that aren’t I i’m 36 now I’m getting old At least I feel old that’s for sure But um 18 to 35 is the main demographic because they’re the most likely that would watch gaming content still you know period of any kind And they’re also most likely people with kids who you know younger children that drive them crazy or at least keep them up with like newborns Like one person was saying I have a one-year-old you really help me a lot with this channel I really appreciate it because the one-year-old of course is you know a toddler I guess is I guess is one is one toddler or is it still baby i don’t know Never thought about I don’t have kids but honestly close to toddler And um you know the little real small ones like that can be pretty unpredictable And um I feel your pain So I’m glad that I do help with that a lot But I know you love them and that’s nice But everybody needs a break I think Brian Adams said that in one of his songs Everybody needs some kindness Everybody needs a break That’s what this channel is is kindness and a break Oh yeah I forgot I’m second reward is like a thousand gold and by the time that you get to the second one it’s not worth it What do you have sarding grape starter Grape star is a fall though right oh my god 700 for grape starter This dude’s a ripoff Rare seed That might be the only thing worth it on there but that’s $1,000 Yeah this guy’s a rep The traveling merchant dude out in the forest Or is it a dude maybe it’s a girl I can’t Let me see No it doesn’t really show her avatar So it could be a guy could be a girl But um yeah that’s a ripoff It’s not worth anything I wonder if I can plant these out here Let’s see No not right there Right here would be a good spot with these little rice Must be planted on farm There’s some Maybe the mods let you do that but I need to Okay we’ll just do it right here then by this little water source This rain sound is actually interfering with my rain sound So I’m going to turn it off Um do because that’s interfering with the rain sound that I use which is actually the same sound So it’ll just double up and be kind of out of time and not sound exactly right There we go We got the rice planted Doesn’t yield much but hey it’s free Bats have given us a little bit of fruit don’t have much in terms of gold but let’s just go forge for a bit See what we can whip together And maybe we can sell some of it to Pierre to get some seeds Look someone planted something near the fountain in town Wonder what that is Well we got time There’s Lionus Is he going behind his bush again he’s going behind his bush again I remember seeing that in the first uh video we did here And um he went behind the bush He was obviously taking a leak or taking a boop or something I never noticed that until recently I wonder if you Well if you did use the mod where you can cut down bushes and all that it probably wouldn’t be cutable Or if it was it probably wouldn’t show him doing anything Just him standing there What would happen if you talked to him while he’s doing that who would look at that one day see if he says “Oh my god go away Don’t you know can I get privacy or something?” That’d be funny Do want to turn the little music back off of this because I do like the ambience in the cave We probably should do one like that like uh fall asleep while I explore the caves or something That’d be an interesting one Maybe that’d be the next one where we focus solely on the cave anyway I got the password manager which is free anyway But I got a VPN which runs so much better than NordVPN did It It does not break everything somehow like NordVPN tends to lately So I’ve had zero issues with it since uh even when I was using the free version because there’s a free version of it too But that’s why I went with the upgraded version because I wanted to keep it on 24/7 you know versus Nord where I had to keep turning it on and off and on and off And if I wanted to go to my bank I had to turn it off and you know all that because it would just lag it or something and it was full season spring or whatever and I was like “Yeah let’s uh let’s do that.” You know splice all the stuff together that I did record for spring and you know maybe somebody wants to sit there and watch that or who knows I mean the thing was I thought that the Minecraft episodes We only I only started like less than a week ago for this channel Um thought the Minecraft ones would do a lot more which they may eventually do more but I was expecting them to move faster because that’s what’s in the search but I know it’s saturated so I’m not saying “Oh why are you giving me views or whatever.” It’s not that But I’m just saying I expected it to move a little and it hasn’t yet But the one that I thought would not move which was literally called And yet Yet It moves did move And that’s the one getting most of the views from a little obscure well not even obscure but a little indie game from like 15 years ago that nobody cares about or ever talks about today And it’s like that’s where everybody went So you never know what the audience wants You you you try to guess and you try to do the best you can to give it to them But that’s why if you’re working on something especially if it’s a creative project don’t ever try to predict the audience because you don’t know what they’re going to like But the goal is you find something they do like and then you just milk that until they don’t like it anymore is sometimes you can get years out of that I mean look at uh TV show Law and Order You know it’s a lot of the stories are same sort of format Someone’s you know found dead and the cops talk to some people that are obviously innocent you know cuz the show wouldn’t be like five minutes if they weren’t And then halfway through you get to a court case and then the verdict and then the end of the show and there you go And that went on for over 20 years with that one format So you need to find your law and order you know and some people you know soap opers there’s some of them that go on for decades I mean Days of Our Lives like 30 or 40 years worth of episodes or something maybe longer I could never get into those because those are uh serialized and I I I can’t go and just watch like you know I wouldn’t want to watch them anyway I’m not a soap opera guy but if I was it would be hard for me because it’s like you know I got to watch 30 year like 30 seasons to understand what’s going on in today’s episode I mean really But if you do need something to watch for TV that’s um I wouldn’t call it soap opera but it’s not soap opera It’s more just like a drama TV show Everybody knows what it is The Sopranos Sopranos is a wonderful show If you haven’t seen it go watch it It’s totally worth it Season two is a bit of a slow Season one’s incredible Season two is a little bit slow but it’s really good and has a great ending But um then after that I think it pretty much just goes along and is great throughout Really I just thought season two was just a little bit flat compared to the first one you know it wasn’t as action-packed and Good Fellas as you know the first season where they really had to knock it out of the park Cuz the thing was David Chase the uh writer of it really thought there was only going to be one season of The Sopranos So he basically jammed everything you know he thought he would want to put in it in season one So that’s why it was so packed with action and you know murders and all of that because he wanted he he thought it was only going to be like you know one and done season wise but it wasn’t And that’s when you know that’s a what a lot of um TV shows have to do is they’ll put out a great first season and then when they’re like you know realize that they need a second season they’ll usually a lot of times they’ll just pull back you know cuz they they’re like “Okay well we made it past the first one We made our impression.” and they they like us or whatever but they’re like we need to pull back that way we don’t like blow ourselves out basically you know And that happened with The Sopranos where it got a lot slower in season 2 That happened in The Walking Dead where the season 2 got a lot slower um a more deliberate Stupid wasp thing Whatever it is Come on How many hits do you need i need to join that adventure adventure thing or whatever because I need to actually be able to get a decent weapon and not this piece of crap that I’m using right now Oh boy Is it going to turn into one of those fly things yeah we’re just going to leave We’re not going to bother By the way the one of the mods actually um I do have it where it’ll basically uh stop time in the mines just so we can not worry too much about that But it does have a drawback of um you know being down there for a long time then you come out it’s like ah god I still got to wait for such and such to open Speaking of that we can just skip ahead in time with this mod too So skip ahead to like 3:00 See if we can go actually go in the adventures adventure guild dudes See if we can go buy a decent weapon Something better than this broken sword crap we have here That’s not even better than a sickle really Or do they call it a scythe could marry I’m pretty sure the the woman like the granny was named Len But once again if you play Harvestman 64 do not talk to her Do not talk to Granny She’s very sweet But don’t talk to her It’ll it’ll make you very sad if you do Talk to her in Back to Nature Talk to her in any other Harvest Moon game if she shows up Just not on the 64 version Well we already talked about Scooter She dies There you go She She passes away if you talk to her I I don’t think she passes away the first time you talk to her though It’s like I forgot there’s some season or I I don’t know exactly what um what happens but I just know that you go and talk to her one day and like she just I don’t even remember if she says anything or she just stops talking or just doesn’t respond at all and then Ellie comes out and finds out that she’s dead and it’s really sad So but I I’m pretty sure I think if you don’t talk to her if I’m not mistaken that she doesn’t die which makes it a lot worse when you think about it cuz you technically killed Granny and Granny would be immortal if you don’t talk to her So I don’t recommend doing that in real life If you do have a granny you should uh cherish any moments you have with her As long as she’s a good woman you know just cuz she’s granny doesn’t mean that she’s a great woman Sometimes you have a bad granny or bad grandpa I had both actually My granny and my grandpa were both not very good people Rest in peace to both of Well I don’t know about my grandfather but my stepgrandfather was a terrible human being So and Grandma wasn’t far behind to be honest I don’t know Grandma was She had problems She Let’s just put it this way She was a drunk and we’ll just leave it at that She was a drunk Her grandpa was a drunk and step grandpa was a drunk on top of some other things that we don’t talk about But um yeah we’ll just leave it there with that But all of them are gone But I hear I hear grandpa dad’s dad was a a pretty good dude He was kind of he was a bit shorter I think he was only like 5,67 or something and like but he was apparently a real feisty redneck that would just you know get into he like going to the honky tonk and playing his country music and his Hank Williams you know records and all that So he was he was a something I don’t but dad never said he was a bad guy My grandfather wasn’t He died of lung cancer unfortunately I shouldn’t be talking about this stuff cuz it’s supposed to help you sleep not get depressed Never met him though cuz he uh was gone a year after I was before I was born I wish I could have met him My sister did apparently I don’t know if she really remembers or not But I think she said she she would have been real little too So it wouldn’t have been uh I don’t think she was super close to him from what I remember Uh what do we just journal updated what uh just kill enough stuff to get in the adventure initiation Enter the enter the guild Good We’ll do that after this I had a rough I have a rough history It wasn’t like poverty and you know assaults and all that but it was just a lot of bad blood overall So yeah make the best of what you got That’s all you can do Just you know even if you were raised bad it doesn’t mean you need to become bad later in life Just remember that you know you can be raised poor or you know abused neglected whatever and you can eventually overcome that and you know be something great Look at Tyler Perry I believe he was raised by his grandmother and they were poor and you know there was a lot of bad things going on at his early life and now he’s a billionaire you know doing those plays and stuff I mean he came from straight up as poverty as you could be I believe So there’s always a way out hopefully Just do the best you can That’s my dad used to say do the best you can That’s all you can do That’s what I’ve been doing for the last 36 years Haven’t gotten very far doing it but that’s what dad always said Do the best you can Dad was full of wisdom He He was a good guy He really was He he had flaws like we all do and he had some you know we had a lot of disagreements and you know had my criticisms I’ll keep in my pocket but on the whole he was a good man that just made a lot of bad decisions but his heart was good His heart was always very good So he was a very pure-hearted man a very good man but just a man that made a lot of mistakes and um just didn’t uh never escaped his bad mistakes But I loved him I loved that man He was a good dude We We need to find a way By the way after Johnny Fox comes back the that show gets remonetized I I’ll probably still do this I can’t um I just like this project too much and it has a good purpose and it’s not something that I’m expecting to ever get huge But it’s it it’s new ground it otherwise he’ll get fired Which that’s the but I’m saying it I know some people might say “Johnny that that’s the same argument of I was just following orders.” No not necessarily is he he gets paid and told that he has to be the way he is Gierre owns his shop He has to do he has all the power in the world to not be a greedy piece of crap to his family and his wife you know and then he takes all the credit if you do the community center thing So it’s like you know Pierre is like the villain of Stardew Valley if you ask me He really is I’ve played countless hours of this game and I still think he’s the worst character in the valley Like I don’t like the more you try to get close to Pierre the worse he gets If you think about it like the wor the bigger pile of crap he turns out to be the the better you get to know him And also if you do the community center you’d lose Jo which Jojo is the one that sells the cheap seeds But Pierre like tries to lie and says “Oh my seeds grow better than theirs.” And I’m just like I don’t know about that I need to look it up but I doubt it I really doubt it So we got Okay we got some time left We can probably still do some potatoes We don’t have enough time for cauliflower It It would be cutting it so close if we tried Let’s do it the Soviet way Get them potatoes Got plenty of energy Start cleaning up some of these trees Dude this axe is terrible It really is You know what I don’t understand why is there no chainsaw in this game a lot of you the game is you know does involve cutting down trees Nobody in modern era Well some do but I mean at this point you’re just more likely to have someone use a chainsaw than a freaking axe on a tree Just for my own ease I’m going to do something really quick I’m just going to bring in a just so it’s easier for me to grab stuff Where is your ring there we go There’s a mod called wear more rings where you can basically wear more rings and you can just like stack magnet rings You can grab stuff from like halfway across the world basically Pretty amazing What did we make today 2500 Not bad Not great but not bad
