So, um there’s been a little update to Stardew Valley expanded. I think it was mostly like behind the scenes stuff. Um but one of the things that intrigued me was the winery. So, a new building that they added and expanded. It used to be very expensive to build. Um, let’s check it out now. I’m pretty sure it used to be a million a million gold. I’m going to see if it’s here. Where is it? Unless cuz it’s not an upgrade. You have to go and see it. H I mean the barns are here. Maybe there’s a quest line we need to do to trigger it. But yeah, we’ll start working towards our wine empire with a winery. Oh, do you know what? This might be it here. Let’s see. Good morning, Luna. Moon Beam has produced a lot of wine over the seasons. You should consider building a winery. Here was me checking on the phone. I took the liberty of procuring the building blueprint for Robin. But be warned, it’s quite pricey. There we go. Chan, hello. And brand new season. Look at that. We’re in fall. So, we did use wheat towards the end of the last season to try and keep our plots. Uh, within 2 days, it’ll clear out. So, I’ll maybe just let it do its thing. We do also have star fruit on the island in our greenhouse. So, I think we’re okay in terms of crops. But if my voice sounds a little bit croaky, apologies. It It’s been a bit um in and out the last few days and I’ve been sleeping a lot. So, I’m hoping I’ve gone through the worst of it now. But yeah, if I sound extra croaky, that’s why. Oh, just trying to pet my chickens. There we go. I say chickens, I also mean duck, dinosaur, all of the above. It’s always lovely to see you pop by, Chan. Always lovely to have you here. If you need to head to bed, no problem at all. It’s nice just uh just seeing your name pop up. Uh, okay. Let’s We’re doing the usual. Doing our dailies, doing some chores around our farm. I think it’s like part of the materials you need to put in. Let’s cut down these. We need fur wax actually for our new barns. So, I wonder if I just maybe cut down a couple and put out some more toppers cuz fur wax takes a long time to produce. I’m glad to hear you’re both doing well. Hopefully, this is some nice cozy vibes for you if you’re uh tucked up in bed. [Music] [Music] Okay, so we are aiming towards the new barn and coupe that come with expanded as well, but hearing that the winery is now cheaper to build has made me want to pivot slightly. I see the winery as a bigger investment in terms of our money-making plans. I’m wondering about putting it up here. I could maybe do with some flooring around here as well. I did start to do fish ponds, but actually if I build it will clear out the grass. Anyway, what were you after? A dried starfish. Two mega bombs. Oh, we could do the two mega bombs. Let me know. But welcome in. I think as a general tip, it’s not usually the dumb thing to go in other people’s streams and try and promote your own channel. So, that would be that would be one tip I would suggest is to avoid doing that cuz I know some people I really don’t like that. Um, it’s kind of stepping on people’s toes a little bit. So, I’d recommend avoiding that where possible. The main thing is just persistence, I guess. uploading or doing stuff frequently, making friends, making friends with people in the community. That’s probably a a good tip. Um, okay. So, let’s check up here. I haven’t been in here in a while. It’s just regular mushrooms. We did work out um the quest line with the henchman in the last episode. We helped him out and that involved donating a lot of mushrooms, but do want some more. Where is it? Tappers. Cuz we want more of this. I can’t really see this one. So, I’m hesitant to put one on this. Okay. Run down here. Yeah. In the last episode, we were also working on our friendship. There’s quite a few new characters in expanded. So, where possible, I might try and like do a day of running around giving out gifts, making friends, cuz I think Yeah, look how many we’ve got zero hearts with. And zero hearts with our baby cage. I feel like other people on here would, you know, delete those kinds of messages, but I was just trying to help out. Sorry. Reddit and Discord can be great places for advice. I’ve been doing it for about a year and a half now. Rose are ruining one of your pumpkins. Bear was kind enough to give me a replacement [Music] as moon bean recently on a morning walk. Your grandfather would be proud of how much progress you’ve made. Luna, I wish your grandpa was still here. He was an absolute joy to everyone in the valley. I can tell you about him. Close friends when he was living on the farm. I’d love to know more about my grandpa. Your grandpa was charismatic, had an exceptional amount of integrity, generosity, empathy, and humility. Many ways you two are very similar. When he first moved to the valley, Pelican Town had just begun to attract residents, and most of the region wasn’t developed yet. The land was cheap. He was able to purchase a large plot of land that became the farm you inherited. Oh, Chan, thank you so much. That’s very kind of you. I appreciate it. I really appreciate it. Sometimes uh sometimes it’s a bit tricky trying to do the right thing. So, uh, thank you. I appreciate your support. It means a lot. I don’t know. Some people just delete things and don’t say anything. I thought I would be nice and say something cuz you don’t know, like someone might do that somewhere else and, you know, not know that it’s not usually the done thing. So, I was just trying to be helpful. Um he never raised any animals focused on cultivation. His farm was one of the largest and most plentiful in the Ferngill Republic. When he obtained enough funds, he had a greenhouse constructed on the property. He was overjoyed when it was finally finished. We’re bringing the town handfuls of fresh strawberries and blueberries in the dead of winter. always wanted us to share his happiness. He met his wife here and they had a wonderful child. Your father, dear, we’re getting so much lore. Your grandpa retired. Oh. When he was about 60 and moved to Pine Messa City, I’ve never heard of that place. He wanted to pass down his farm to your father, but he had other dreams and wanted to follow his own path. Farmland was never sold, paid for the land every year and kept the deed. With no one taking care of the farm, nature eventually reclaimed it. As you saw when you first arrived, it was completely overgrown. [Music] I didn’t understand why he held on to the land until you arrived and then I realized he never stopped thinking about the farm as a piece of his family. [Music] I’m glad you know more about your grandpa, dear. I understand you were just a child when he passed away. [Music] He was a remarkable person and I see so much of him in you. So, what does the winery actually do? I was thinking this like, oh, we have lots of space for our kegs anyway because I have a mod for my greenhouse. We also have grandpa’s farm, but it says wines age 15% faster. So, I think it’s worth it cuz aging stuff does take a while. I have a photo of it now. Interesting that you need kegs to build it. Also, if I give the kegs, I then lose them, right? Cuz it’s a material for building it. We can make 10 right now. We’re fine for the hardwood and the aridium bars. Oh my goodness. We can actually maybe build it like tomorrow. Um, I know it’s a Tuesday, but we could try and time it when Robin I want to sell some of these. We really don’t need that many. Just a bonus bit of cash. It’s just the kegs that are holding us back, I think. Um, unless I was to take kegs from in here. I wonder if we stop it from like automating. How long are these going to take? 5 days. 26 hours. Ideally, I didn’t want to have to destroy any of these things. Okay, we’ll leave it at that. We’ll see. All right, let’s hit the hay. The first day of the season done. Okay, day two. Um, I was kind of hoping to build the winery, but it’s the kegs that are holding us back. Ideally, I don’t want to stop the kegs that are processing starfruit wine. That seems like a bit of a waste. I discovered a beautiful piece of classical music. We could dance together. It’s really sweet. Do we have anything we can maybe gift you? Um, do you like pink cake? Okay. You like it? You don’t love it. That’s fine. A rainy day. Some nice chill vibes. We need more coal. Um button. There we go. We’ve got our little setup over here. Automate happening helping us out big time. All right, let’s see if any of these eggs are free to pick up. No. Doesn’t look like it. Although, we do have two gold carrots. I don’t think they’re useful for anything. You can get them from the desert trader in exchange for a couple of gold bars. I think it is. We need the gold. How many do we need? Five. We’ll have dinosaur mayo soon. I think maybe I take one turn into seeds because ideally we start putting them on these plots. Yeah. So the gold carrot. Oh, there’s the seeds. Actually, I’m carrying them around. Maybe we clear out. Cucumbers are kind of worth like nothing. Oh my god, we only got one seed. That’s kind of annoying. Kind of annoying. Okay, maybe maybe we do just go for it and hope the more we have down, the more chance we have of getting gold. Oh my god. No. Oh well. I don’t think these are used for anything. It was crystalariums we were initially looking at before I came across that really helpful statue that I didn’t build. Um, don’t need that just yet. I just keep them there cuz they’re within my eyes sight, you know. Oops. Oh, wait. I can’t collect them though. That’s silly of me. I forget I don’t have a chest set up here. That’ll do for now. I think we’ve got a bunch of spare sprinklers on Ginger Island as well, so we don’t need to worry about them too much. Let’s throw our geodess in and then grab our pumpkin seeds. Let’s replace our crops. Um, let’s grab scythe and axe cuz we need more wood. So, for anyone wondering why do I have fields full of wheat, that was just at the end of summer. I wanted to keep my plots of land. So, I just forgo the first like couple of days of the season for most of the fields cuz I’m lazy and I don’t want to have to redo it all. Oh, I missed a patch. Let’s grab our hole and fix that. At least it’s raining today, so we don’t need to worry about watering it. Yes. Oh, let’s fix it up. And you know what? While we’re here, why have we not got fertilizer? Let’s throw down some fertilizer. Do we have any fish? I have loads of muscles. Oh my goodness. We can use that. Just use all of them. The muscles on Ginger Island. That’s like the best thing is you can use them for this fertilizer. Also sushimi because you get a pretty steady supply of them without, you know, putting in too much effort. Anything else? or do we need to just make regular? Um, I don’t really know what I’m keeping some of these for. We’ve we do have the aquarium mod, but I’m pretty sure I would have donated a lot of these. We do have crab pots in town. So, as long as I put them on the soil today, we should be fine. We’ve got all those fields ready as well. Oh my goodness. We’re going to need more pumpkins. I know it’s a Wednesday, but I’m pretty sure we’re good because we completed the community center. Okay, this field as well. Harvest anything with a scythe mod. Thank you so much for your service cuz it means I’m catching other things that were ready as well in amongst the the wheat. Okay, we’re going to run to see our friend Pierre. I think I bought 240 last time, so we clearly need way more than that. Maybe we do 550. I don’t need to keep this wheat for anything, I don’t think. Just buy We’ll buy more. I feel like cuz we’re in year two and it’s quite an expensive thing to build. Like I’ve watched videos on YouTube of people playing with it before. So it’s not exactly easy to build. It’s like expensive, you know, aridium, that kind of thing. I’m wondering if it’s time because to spend the whole day doing like crops is kind of gets a bit dull, you know, and we could be sewing our sewing the seeds, picking the crops really quickly. We did that. What do we think? Maybe next stream we could try it out. Oh, got another patch missing. Okay, let’s check on our animals. Friendship is looking good. I’m wondering until we get our lovely new barn and new animals, perhaps we put our autoetter in one of these. Might as well put it to good use. Oh, that’s the egg the witch left cuz I think Yeah, we have our little dinos are new also. I’m pretty sure in the last episode Leonard was spelled wrong. I just keep checking on spaghetti. My bad.
