in this video I try beating Terraria as the rocket class I installed a mod that adds a whole arsenal of rocket launchers accessories and even adds the ability to perform rocket jumping What kinds of weapons will we see how strong will they be and will I end up taking down the final boss Moon Lord stay tuned to find out All right let’s get this show on the road So first things first let’s figure out how to get my hands on the first weapon It looks like I can either head into the jungle to farm materials for the pineapple launcher or I can head underground to mine a bunch of iron for the big iron I think the pineapple launcher is a bit easier to get So let’s go for that first Let’s go see if the jungle is on the left side Oh no I just hit the corruption Will I be able to get past this probably not Oh jump over Oh no Get up Nope I’m dead Well let’s go search the right side instead Okay Thank god the jungle’s on the right side Otherwise I would have kept trying to go to left past the corruption So in order to get the pineapple I just need to keep on knocking down these rich mahogany trees Ooh there we go And that’s enough rich mahogany So I just need the jungle spores and vines Oh nice Got a warding radar Now let’s see if there’s a passageway that leads underground I think this is it Yep What’s in here cloud and a bottle Oh and some rockets Scrap rockets So these rockets deal reduced self- damage that also launches user in the opposite direction Rocket jumping prevents fall damage and doubles flight time until the user lands Melee weapons and whips land a powerful ballistic strike if used while or right after rocket jumping And these do not destroy tiles Okay I can’t wait to test them out But first let’s go get our rocket launcher Oo that is a lot of topaz Is that 15 don’t kill me Yes it is Oh dodge it Nope Going to need that jungle spore Found my first life crystal Oh my god that’s a lot of maneaters What i’ve never seen that before They’re all in one area Well that kind of makes them easier for me to kill Oh my god Ancient cobalt helmet Don’t mind if I do And that is enough vines Okay that’s all done Now I just need two more jungle spores which is right over there There we go Then in order to make it I’m going to need the heavy workbench So let’s first place down a workbench then the iron anvil and then the heavy workbench All right pineapple launcher made Nice got intimidating Let’s also craft the topaz hook And it looks like I can combine the scrap rocket one with a bomb to make the scrap rocket 2 But the only noticeable difference is that the scrap rocket 2 is able to destroy towels So I won’t be making these Okay Well now that I have a rocket launcher let’s go test it out Three two and one That’s some pretty decent damage Then let’s go test out the rocket jumping Here we go Shoot downwards I believe Okay that was pretty high Oh and I can shoot horizontally like that Okay I can definitely see myself doing these jumps to dodge attacks but doing so does deal uh a decent amount of damage to myself All right let’s not waste any more ammo What I’m going to do now is collect some more life crystals and find accessories as well as mine a bunch of iron ore for the big iron All right that is 200 health That is 300 health Ooh there’s Hermes boots Found warding band of regeneration and the suspicious looking eye What’s in here another Hermes boots This one has violent Oh my god another house down there too Another suspicious looking eye Another one And another band of regeneration I think I’ll keep the warding though Just need two more life crystals until max health And another What what is going on okay magic mirror and a gravitation potion Oh and those are my last two life crystals for max health All right max out I’m just going to stay down here for a bit longer because I still don’t think I have enough iron for the big iron Okay and finally that is enough iron Let’s head back up and let’s sort out my inventory first Okay inventory has been sorted out Let’s first craft the big iron So this rocket launcher has 42 damage 6% critical strike chance snail speed extremely strong knockback and has some recoil that knocks the user back a bit on firing Let’s make it Okay it’s got agile Let’s see how much damage I can deal Boom Oh Um that’s more than a bit of recoil What okay let’s try again Fire Ooh Okay that time it wasn’t so bad Is it because I jumped while firing no How about if I shoot downwards oh I think the explosion is what causes it Yep there we go Oh my god In terms of movement I think I’m just going to use the pineapple launcher It’s way more consistent And then for damage obviously the big iron I’ve also managed to mine a bunch of platinum So I’m going to craft the platinum pickaxe and some platinum armor Damn Now I have 24 defense It looks like it’s about to turn into night So it’s about time I take on my first boss the Eye of Cthulhu Arena is all complete However I only have 31 ammo and I don’t think that’s going to be enough to take down the boss So I’m going to have to craft some more To make these rockets I’m going to need some wood copper and some gel I already have some wood and gel but I don’t have any copper The reason why is because I threw them all away I wasn’t expecting to need them so let’s go mine some more Oh there was a bunch there How many was that 75 Okay I can make do with that Let’s make about 500 That should be good Okay here we go First boss Let’s do it [Music] Coming in on the left Fire away Wow this is actually really slow I know it said snail speed but damn this is beyond that Okay second phase Let’s try the pineapple launcher Trick shot Boom And again Pop up and switch over Ow Ow Ow Okay let’s finish it up One more shot should do it There we go So judging from my fights against the Eye of Cthulhu I feel like I’m pretty strong So I’m going to head over to the corruption to take on the Eater of Worlds While I’m there I can also collect some corrupt torches to make myself the Briar Bomber But before all of that let’s just build some NPC houses And there we go Five should be good To the corruption I go Oh my god Wait I didn’t even realize I could have just made the wood launcher basically like right away I mean it’s not too late to try it out Let’s do it Probably nothing special about it though as it is the first weapon and the weakest Yeah it just fires the rocket straight ahead I mean it still deals decent damage around 20 Okay got some corrupt torches Let’s head back to make the weapon The Briar Bomber Frenzying So this has 12 damage originally 14 9% critical strike chance very slow speed very weak knockback and explosions also fires horizontal and vertical corrupted thorns Interesting Oh so this one shoots forward straight ahead and then it launches out four corrupted thorns Not sure if this is going to be better compared to the big iron when it comes to taking on the eater of worlds I’ll try them both out though to see which one’s better Let’s build an arena first There we go And now let’s go break the shadow orbs Okay last one and it begins Go Oh no let’s go past it Okay let’s start Going to use the Briar bomber first dealing about 400 damage per second And then switch over to the big iron Ah okay Nope Nope Nope Back to the brar bomber Okay Almost done There we go Honestly I thought the big iron would deal a lot more damage Now having some shadow scales and a bunch of demonite bars I’m going to craft the nightmare pickaxe and some shadow armor I don’t think I have enough for the entire set Yeah I don’t Okay I’m going to head back to the corruption to take the boss on one more time Okay that’s all done Now I should have plenty of materials And there we go Full set of shadow armor made So now my rocket launchers have 24% critical strike chance I’m now going to head over to the dungeon to take on Skeltron Ooh wait Meteorites So it looks like with some meteorite bars I’ll be able to make the hyperdrive which increases rocket damage and rocket velocity by 5% Let’s go look for that first then Oh there it is Let’s mine it up Okay that’s good enough So I need to make some meteorite bricks first Turn them into six meteorite platforms and then I should be able to make it Yeah there it is So from 42 damage to 44 The damage doesn’t change on the BR bomber unfortunately cuz it has too little damage Let’s check out the difference with this thing So with it off attacks look like that And then with the BR bomber looks like that With it on whoa that is way faster Oh my god And then with the BR bomber Oh yeah let’s make some more rockets and then head back to the dungeon to prepare for Skeletron Okay arena has been completed Now we just wait until nighttime All right nighttime is finally here Let’s talk to the old man to summon the boss Three two one Here we go I’ll start off with the big iron burst Oh don’t push me Get up Okay let’s switch over to the Briar bomber This honestly might be better Okay one hand down and that’s two just ahead Okay Sometimes my missiles or rockets pass through the boss and it’s probably because of the thorns Okay back to the big iron Ooh big damage 208 1,000 more health Two more shots One more maybe Nope One more There we go Now that I have access into the dungeon I’ll of course be looking for the cobalt shield and shadow key but I’ll also be looking for the blueite multibomber I’m not sure if it can be dropped by monsters or found in gold chests First one Okay it was in a gold chest Nice Let’s see what this thing can do Uh shoots very fast but the damage is not there Ooh another one but also the cobalt shield Found the bound mechanic And with the mechanical lens I believe I can make something useful out of it Oh yes Okay so I can use this I have the hyperdrive so I just need to make the tungsten reloader and the silver targeting system to make the rocket booster This accessory increases rocket damage and crit chance by 6% Rocket attack speed and increase rocket velocity by 15% and then 20% for rocket knockback But of course I am going to need the tinkerer’s workshop Oh my god speak of the devil A goblin army is approaching What okay that was lucky Let’s try to find the shadow key if I can If I can’t then I’ll just head it back home What about in here yes it is Okay let’s go take care of the goblin army now I also just noticed the big iron can inflict the onfire debuff There we go Goblin army has been defeated Now I’ll be able to search for the goblin tinkerer Before I do anything else though I’ve noticed that I keep on running out of rockets So I need a good way to maintain them And the way I found is to take on the king slime Got enough gel Now I can make the king slime summon There we go And let’s just summon it Where is it at okay right here th000 more health and all done Okay that should give me a lot of gel I now have 48 But the reason why I wanted to take on the King Slime forge gel is because once I have 3,996 rockets I can turn it into the box of scraps which is pretty much an endless supply So then I wouldn’t have to worry about running out of ammo anymore But of course I would need the crystal ball which is only obtainable in hard mode Let’s just see how many I can make right now Oh not even close Next up let’s drink a gravitation potion to look for Sky Allens for some more accessories There’s the shiny red balloon And there’s the lucky horseshoe Okay now let’s go look for the goblin tinkerer Oh and there he is Let’s buy rocket boots and the workshop Now I can start combining my accessories together So let’s make spectre boots and the blue horseshoe balloon I can then turn the radar into the silver targeting system which increases rocket critical strike chance So then all I need now is the tungsten reloader which is made from 10 tungsten bars and a copper watch Okay copper watch made And then I need to convert some of my silver bars into tungsten And then I can make the tungsten reloader Now having all four accessories I can make the rocket booster Let’s continue to mine down to hell so that I can collect some hellstone And with the hell stone I will be able to make the ash kicker Okay finally made it down to hell Let’s start collecting some hell stone All right that should be more than enough hell stone I do need to collect obsidian now to be able to make hellstone bars Okay got a bunch of obsidian Now let’s make the molten pickaxe And then with the rest of the hell stone the ash kicker But I forgot to collect the ash wood So let’s go do that right now There we go Okay Ash Kicker Maid This one has 23 damage 28 crit chance very slow speed average knockback rocket set target on fire and produces a fiery backdraft behind the user Let’s check it out Okay wait Yep that deals damage I know I just crafted this weapon and I really wish I could use it more However it’s just going to get turned into the Umbra Blaster pretty much instantly because I have the other three on hand So let’s head over to a demon alter to craft it Here we go Umbra Blaster 29 damage 27% crit chance slow speed average knockback fires an unrealistic enemy piercing rocket Destructive and liquid rockets do not pierce Well I don’t have to worry about that Let’s check it out 3 2 1 Okay but in all honesty I thought it would shoot out a cooler looking rocket Maybe like a purple one Damage and functionalitywise it’s pretty good I can definitely see the wall of flesh getting destroyed by this weapon I’m basically all set to take on the wall now but I’m going to craft myself a new type of ammo And this new ammo is the space rocket This has 19 damage and has 4% crit Let’s see how these rockets look like Oh yeah Okay Not sure if it has a bigger explosion radius It looks like it though You know what let’s actually test them out Let’s sleep until nighttime Okay And then let’s summon the eye of Cthulhu All right So dealing about 300 damage per second Switch over Oh my god That is a huge improvement Up to 600 Damn If it’s that good let’s just make a bunch of them Ooh I got 23 more fallen stars in here There we go That’s over 1,000 space rockets Then let’s go reforge this rocket launcher There we go Got godly And now let’s go take on the boss All right made it to the edge of the world Let’s drink some potions and get things started Three two one Let’s start blasting away Yeah decent damage Getting rid of the hungry as well Oh my god my defense is up to 800 Okay 30% left 1,000 more and done Damn this thing’s actually really strong What do we have inside the treasure bag ooh Oh I got a firecracker With the firecracker I can test out the ballistic strike Let’s see Shoot up Smack Oh my god Wait 200 Over 200 damage Can I like spam it oh I think it’s only for one hit Yeah Okay Kill it Kill it Kill it Let’s take a better look Next melee hit deals high damage as long as it happens while mid jump or shortly after you land Yeah I probably won’t use the ballistic strike I think just firing the rocket launchers is better Let’s head back to the corruption now to break some demon alters to spawn in the hard modors Let’s see what we got Cobalt oralum and adamantites That’s enough cobalt onto the oricalum Ooh and the bound wizards here Let’s get that crystal ball So now I just need to make 3,996 rockets for it to be infinite ammo That’s enough orical And lastly let’s go mine the adventites And that should be enough adamantes With the adamantite bars I’m going to craft the adamantite armor And hopefully the adamantite mask does increase the damage of my rockets I’m not sure if these are actually classified as rocket damage or range damage Thank god Okay so it does increase from 33 to 40 And with the set bonus I do have a 25% chance to save ammo But that’s not going to matter too much once I make the infinite version of the rockets To make more rockets I do need more gel So let’s make two more King Slime summons Okay Well I can only make one for now So let’s just do that and then come back when I get more That’s one down And that’s two All right let’s go make some more rockets now And hopefully it will be enough Oh my god I am so close Okay that should be enough gel Come on Is that enough 3,9 No God damn it I need 3,996 right yeah Okay back to the jungle Oh wait I have the gel Oh I’m missing I think the copper Do I have any more no I don’t Okay I have to go mine some more There we go Okay that should be enough Beautiful Time to make it Box of scraps And now I can spam my attacks Now it is time to get my hands on a hard mode rocket launcher The one I’ll be crafting is going to be the bigger iron This has 117 damage 31% crit chance and of course it has snail speed but insane knockback just like the big iron This time I’m going to need 200 iron bars 10 living fire blocks and then the big iron Okay I should be good on iron I’ve mined 471 and I already have 75 iron bars Now let’s go get the living fire blocks Oh there we go Got some With that I should now be able to make it Here we go Bigger iron And we got the best modifier 135 damage Let’s see Anything different about this one oh my god Okay the blast radius is a lot bigger Let’s test it out against the eye of Cthulhu Let’s go test it out against this boss 3 2 1 Almost 500 600 damage crit hit Oo All right I cannot wait to use this against the destroyer Next up I’m going to go farm some souls of flight so that I can make myself a pair of wings Oh that was exactly enough Just need to grab some more feathers [Music] Okay that’s enough And that’s enough souls of lights Let’s go craft angel wings And then I’m going to wait until the next night to take on the mechanical bosses Okay it is officially night time So the first mechanical boss that I’ll be taking on is going to be the destroyer Three two one Okay let’s hurry up to the clumped up parts Go go go No it’s kind of hidden Okay missed opportunity It should be fine though Dealing about a,000 damage per second Oh never mind Going higher 2,000 It really does depend where I aim though Like that one That was 3k Let’s go test out the Umbra blaster See if that’s any good Ooh this might be better Okay I’m getting low here Where are the probes less than 10,000 health now Two more shots One more and done Onto the next boss the twins And I’ll probably use the umbra blaster for this one just because it shoots straight and it’s easier to land my hits Second phase for spasmatism Oh that touched me Nope Almost dead Okay that’s one down Second phase for retinas now And done Oh that fallen star would have killed it And let’s just rush down Skeleton Prime Okay 50% health now Yeah should be good Plenty of time left Less than 5,000 health now And let’s finish it off with a trick shot Oh Um wait What shoot up And boom There we go So now that all three mechanical bosses have been defeated I’m going to craft myself the pickaxe axe And this time I’m going to skip out on crafting the hollowed armor set But instead I’m going to make the judgment 33 damage 34% crit chance very fast speed very strong knockback smites enemies and shoots fast Gains only 80% of ammo damage Before I test it out let’s go reforge it Okay I’ll take demonic Here we go Oh wait Let’s use the box of scraps Okay now let’s test it out on an actual enemy Here we go Let’s see what the smite looks like Oh my god Really oh Oh wait There was something different So it makes them a little bit brighter And then it deals 15 damage per tick Let’s take a closer look Yeah I guess that’s what the smite is Before I head into the jungle to search for the planter bulb I’m going to craft myself another accessory This is the merciless man shreds And it requires rocketeers gunboats 25 cobwebs five hellstone bars and three souls of flight To make the rocketeers gunboats I need four iron bars six leather and two silk Okay rocketeers gunboats made Got some more souls of flight And now I can make the merciless mantrads So this gives plus 50% blast jump force which means I can go higher and plus 15% ballistic strike damage Not really useful cuz I don’t use that but it does cut blast jump self damage by 15% Okay let’s go check it out So without it 16 damage to myself 17 And then with it on a lot higher And I think I only dealt two damage to myself Yeah only two damage Through the jungle I go to search for the planter bulb Oh damn Okay it’s right at the entrance I got to make sure I don’t fill the arena too high up onto the surface otherwise it might become enraged when I fight it Okay the arena has been completed Time to break the bulb to summon the boss Three two and one On the right There we go First phase is always the easiest Just got to fly around in circles This arena though is pretty narrow in my opinion So hopefully I don’t regret not making it bigger when I had the chance to You know what i should probably switch over to the space rockets Yep that deals more damage Second phase coming up Here we go Ow Heal Come on 10,000 more Oh god Okay less than 5,000 We got this Th000 more and done Oh close call had 60 health left All right let’s head over to the temple to take on Golem Okay made it into the boss room Let’s clear out the traps first then let’s build a platform And I think that’s about it Let’s start it up Head is almost done There we go Head is down 5k more HP We’re almost there And there we go Golem has been defeated I’m surprised it took that long even with these space rockets Oh I have 69 left The next weapon that I’ll be getting my hands on is going to be the Terra Annihilator And this is basically like the Terra Blade equivalent So I’m going to need the True Umbra Blaster just a regular judgment a broken hero sword and 20 living ultra bright fire block In order to make the true Umbra blaster I’m going to need 25 living cursed fire blocks and 25 nails which means I’m going to have to summon the solar eclipse Did I get it oh yes I did Got the broken hero sword Ooh and there’s the nail head Did I get it ooh there we go 12 nails But I need 25 Oh there’s another one Perfect Okay I think that’s it No I just need one more Nice Got moth on wings Okay and that should be enough nails Then let’s go collect four more living fire blocks Oh there’s some right there Okay that’s more than enough Then let’s go make the living cursed fire blocks And finally I can craft the true Umbra blaster So this rocket launcher has 48 damage 32 crit chance fires a stronger still unrealistic enemy piercing rocket Destructive and liquid rockets do not pierce So basically the same thing Let’s see Oh it can inflict shadow flame now Yeah there we go Look at that All I need now are the living ultra bright fire blocks And the only way to get these ultra bright torches is from the traveling merchant Willie are you the man yes you are So I’m going to have to get some more living fire blocks now Oh there we go Got some more Now I can make the living ultra bright fire block Oh and now I need the ancient manipulator So let’s go take on the lunatic cultist Here we are Let’s get the show on the road Oh I should probably take off the sports cuz I’m not dealing any damage Oh god Okay it’s up here Wait did I not hit it oh my god I missed everything Okay get rid of this freaking dragon Shoot there I just realized the lunatic cultist cannot be set on fire with the shadow flame debuff Okay maybe the judgment is better for this Yeah feels like it 10,000 more health This is by far the longest boss fights Almost done here There we go Oh how long did I take felt like 15 minutes Hopefully the Terra Annihilator is going to be like exponentially better compared to all the other rocket launchers I’ve made Here we go But let’s make it So this one has 88 damage 43% crit chance very fast speed extremely strong knockback fires rockets that pierce twice and rockets inflict smites and shadow flame Reforge time Ooh unreal Oh yeah that feels way faster Let’s go test it out on some actual monsters though Yeah feels pretty good Okay down goes the Stardust pillar There goes the vortex pillar Nebula pillar has been destroyed Just one more to go Before I destroy the last pillar I kind of want to upgrade my armor I just realized that I still have the adamante armor set which is clearly outdated at this point So I’m going to head back to the jungle and mine some more chlorophy so that I can make the chlorophy armor Okay I think that’s enough chlorophy And now let’s make the armor Okay got 57 defense now And then the set bonus gives me a powerful leaf that shoots at nearby enemies I am all set to take on Moon Lord now So let’s go destroy the last pillar I still can’t get over the fact on how fast I can propel myself It’s just ridiculous Look at that Oh and there goes the last pillar Time for Moon Lord Here we go Let’s target the center eye first Man I wish there were like warfight rockets or just rockets that can home in Then I’d be dealing a lot of damage Oh teleport Oh no that hit me That was bad Okay all three eyes are almost done There goes that hand Peel There goes that one And then just the core now Almost done here 15,000 more health 10,000 and done That is it for the rocket class I hope you all enjoyed watching I covered basically the majority of it but there are just a few
