My Favourite Stardew Valley 1.6 Mods You NEED To Try!

If you’ve played Stardw Valley as much as I have, you’ve probably found out that we have one of the best modding communities in all of gaming. Today, I’m going to be showing you my favorite mods from three different categories: quality of life, expansion, as well as aesthetic, so you can hit the ground running on your next modded playthrough. Have you ever heard of Stardw Valley Expanded? Well, of course you have. It’s only the most highly rated Stardw Valley mod of all time. This is because it doesn’t really change the core gameplay and feels like an extension to the base game. There’s a ton of new locations to explore, from the homes of other farmers like Sophia’s Blue Moon Vineyard and Andy’s Fair Haven Farm to the elf and dwarf soldier graves of the wartorrn Junimo Woods. There’s even an entirely new continent, Golderin, and its Crimson Badlands, a deserted combat focused wasteland where you can fight horrifying creatures and immerse yourself in a brand new story line. But don’t get me started on the new NPCs. My favorites are the anime obsessed Sophia and the confident yet cocky Lance, of course. But there’s so many more for you to discover. You can also date NPCs like the wizard who’s now called Magnus. He’ll always play chess with my heart. It’s truly wonderful. What’s your favorite thing about Stardew Valley Expanded? Now, there’s certainly a lot more that expanded has to offer, but it’s a lot easier to handle when you’ve got these quality of life changes. Have you ever wanted to automate, well, everything in Sju Valley? With the automate mod, you can set up connections to all your machines, sending your produce to new locations, into chests, and even into different machines entirely. You can choose which path type you want to use as your wire, so there’s no need to sacrifice style for glory. You’ll get a ton of fishing exp by lining up crab pots just like this, then path connecting them to both a chest that replenishes the bait and recycling machines that’ll get rid of all of that trash. It’s absolutely amazing. You can also set up an automation machine near Ginger Island’s coconut trees and watch the golden coconuts come pouring in. And you can connect all the bins to finally get that trash hat. and just press U to see this screen. But be careful, this only works in the same loading zone, and you can’t let a single block break. So don’t let any NPCs destroy your setup. What would you use this mod for in Sarju Valley? This is the coolest thing about the automate mod. You can use Junimo chests to create automation machines that span across multiple loading zones, so you can make a busted starfruit wine money farm. First, set up some Junimo huts to cover a giant field of starfruit. Then connect them to a Juno chest. The next step in the machine is to connect a junimo chest to both a shed of kegs and your seller of casks, taking the starf fruit from crop to wine to seller. Finally, place a junimo chest next to your shipping bin. The automate mod will automatically place the shipping bin at the lowest priority, so it will always sell your wine after it’s been aged to aridium quality. That’s 6,300g per bottle. You can speed this whole process up by adding fairy dust into your chest and connecting it to your machines. This will be applied to both the kegs and casks, making the whole process heaps faster. But just remember, press U to make sure your connections are all set up correctly. I guarantee you, you’ll be the richest person in Pelican Town. Are you always forgetting birthdays, weather, or luck in Sarju Valley? Well, this mod has got you covered. The UI info suite mod brings a ton of quality of life upgrades to Sarju Valley, like these icons, which always show the current day’s weather, luck, birthdays, and even if the Queen of Swords is on TV. Additionally, you can jump into the mini map and see the live locations of all NPCs that you’ve met in the valley. You’ll never forget Sebastian’s birthday ever again. Don’t get me started on farming. You’ll be able to see exactly which animals need to be pet and how many days are left until that incredible pumpkin harvest. You can even see the block ranges for the sprinklers, scarecrows, beehives, and those junimo huts. Finally, you’ll never lose track of exp again. The UI info suite mod displays all the exp gained and tells you when you’re just about to level up. Give it a shot and let me know what you think in the comments. Have you ever wished to have a to-do list in Stu Valley so that you never rock up to Pierre on Wednesday ever again? Well, have I got the mod for you. This mod called the to-do list lets you not only make a list, but also keep it up on screen at all times. You’re able to edit every individual item to decide the name, formatting, and whether or not it’ll be a repeating task. So, I consistently have give Leah goats cheese on my screen at all times because Leah deserves to always have a love gift and I won’t hear anything otherwise. So, for example, if I wanted to remember to check the traveling merchant on Fridays and Sundays in spring, summer, and winter, I could. After this, my friends, you will never forget to do anything again in Stardew Valley. Now, come on, it can’t all be practical. Here are my favorite aesthetic mods that will absolutely change the vibe in Pelican Town for you. Starting off, we’ve got the wild flower grass field. This mod adds 52 grass and flower variations across all seasons, completely transforming the look and feel of the valley’s foliage. It’s such a small change, but it is beautiful. Now, the visible fish mod doesn’t seem like much of a big deal, but the ability to see the fish in the water just makes the game so much more immersive. It really makes me feel like I’m spending my days in the mountain chatting with Lionus and watching the fish swim by. Amazing. Now, who doesn’t love a cozy living room? Daisy Nico’s earthy interiors provides just that with a full revamp of the interior tile set, giving Pelican Town vibrant colors and cozier lighting. And at last, but certainly not least, Daisy Nico’s recolor is an amazing example of a mod that makes a massive impact without making any drastic changes. Now, which mod is your

  1. I loved using To-Dew list when waiting on the gembirds, by having the task to collect a gem repeat on rainy island days! <3 Love this video!!
