ALL MINECRAFT MOB VOTE MOBS ARE GETTING ADDED?!
Good morning, Waddlers. It’s me, Catsai. Are all of the lost Minecraft mob bow mobs finally coming back? As in like every single one of them all at once? On top of that, would it even be possible? Like, are all of the technical functionalities necessary already here? Lads, ladies, and lovers, the answer to both of those questions might just be yes. That like button right now, subscribe, and let’s check this out. Then why? With such bold, massive questions honkering in front of us, it’s only fair we begin with a little bit of why this might even be a thing in the first place. So, we’ve got not one but two different things I’d like to call on for today’s video. The Nenbone Tidimmy interview. Oh man, you remember it like the back of our hand at this point when Nenbon was asked by Tidimmy about what update he’d like to see next. Well, you go on ahead and fill in the blank. You already know it’s the posters behind him. He pointed to him. But hold you on just a minute here because in Nenbon’s interview was about the biome losers, not the mob losers. Ah, you’re right. But at least to me, I sort of see them almost as all in the same. We won’t be talking about the biome losers today, but they’re very similar to the mob losers. Fine, fine. That’s not impressive enough. Bernard number nine, what do you think about the mobs who lost the mob vote? He asked Jeb this before Minecraft Live this year. Jeb hits him up with a reply that he didn’t have to do, by the way. the team remembers them. That’s all I can say for now. Now, if that’s not the most sus looking reply ever, then I don’t know what is. Oh, and on top of that, of course, we already have one. So, with that all out of the way, wait a second, I think I heard it. Oh my god, there’s only one mob that we could begin with today. The Move Loom. This thing is adorable. This thing is also a half a decade old, and I hate to say it, but it never really stood a chance in its vote. Even though this is the most aesthetic miniaturized Minecraft video ever, the Moo Bloom, probably because it was so vague and simply just adorable, it lost. Now, the developers never really made clear specifically what the MLoom would really pull and bring to the game. Of course, other than its adorableness and potentially some B- related functionality as well. Within the community, it was always theorized that maybe the Mubloom will walk around and place flowers down on the ground, kind of like it did back in Minecraft Earth, but that technically was never confirmed. In the modern era of Minecraft, would a mob like the Mloom walking around, placing flowers, and interacting with the bee even be possible? Well, bee interaction, we literally just saw it. That is 100% easily possible and has been able to be done for years. Placing blocks on the other hand. Well, for one, we would need the block to actually be in the game to be placeable in. Wait a hold on just a minute. The spring to life drop. Didn’t that literally Why wasn’t the mlum there? Oh my god, I still cry to this day. It does seem like those fancy new yellow flowers would be perfect for the mlum to drop down onto the ground. But maybe dandelions could work, too. But still, even at that, technically speaking, is it possible? Can a mob other than say an enderman actually place a block down? Well, now as of a few weeks ago, the answer is yes. Stemming from a technical update inside of Minecraft Preview 1.21.100.21, they can do it. The devs not only updated Enderman place blocking this, but added a brand new functionality that we’ll dive into in just a few more minutes. So, here we go at our professionally made, perfectly symmetrical t- chart of possible or not, the Move Loom firmly inside of possible. We’re talking about what each mob could do and if that functionality is currently possible within vanilla. Next up next we have a mob that I totally didn’t vote for. No, of course I always wanted the dogs to have armor the crab. The crab is one of the most recent mob vote losers who was meant to live inside of the mangrove swamp biome which spoiler alert. Check. We’ve had that biome. Oh man, these things. I don’t even remember how they were meant to work. Do we walk up to them with shears? No, that doesn’t seem to work. Ah, this mob. I think maybe we just wait around by this thing for a little bit of time and eventually, theoretically, it should shred it. Shred. Huh? Oh, no. Don’t do it. You have to be careful. They’re a little derby. They climb the walls of blocks, which is a unique functionality. Really, really cool, but also really easy for the devs to pull on. That could totally be achievable. But in time, they will randomly drop their claw and then I hope think maybe regrow it. Oh, mama. But their claws. So, placing blocks in Minecraft, you know how it is. You can only place a block so far away. If I had the claw in my off hand and then I wanted to place a block. Well, all of a sudden I can place that block just a little bit farther away. Ah, I just love how these things like walk around here, climb the walls. Is so cool to watch. It doesn’t even care that it lost the vote and we voted it out of Kasa Amore. Like, it’s just so chill and happy. Ooh. Now, for this one, we throw it all the way back to the armored paws drop on Minecraft Java Edition because of course the armadillo, it made it into the game in this drop. But funnily enough, in the update all about the armadillo and the dog armor, of course, the winner of the same boat that the crab was included in, well, crab functionality was also added inside of the official change log for this update. All the way down to the technical section, specifically attributes, added player block interaction range attribute. This attribute by default is 4.5 blocks, but you could actually change it and scale it up and down. They literally added this functionality to the game at the same time that the winner was added. This is throwing salt in the wound much, right? Oh, now I don’t know if they ever said it, but I’ve always assumed that it was the lush caves biome in which we would be able to find our next contender today, the glare. I’m looking up your moss. I’m sorry. I won’t do it again, but if I feed you a little glowberry, now you like me. You’re my friend. You get this sweet flower drip going on. And I believe what the glare is going to do is follow me around and specifically let me know where there are darker spots in the cave. As if I couldn’t already see that that’s really, really dark. The glare is going to go to the darkness and get a little upset. So then I have to place a torch down and now it’s all of a sudden way, way brighter. All right, I’m going to be honest. I think I pointed out the exact reason why the glare never really stood a chance in the mob vote. We could see the darkness. Maybe if the glare actually moved around and lit things up for us, it would have had more of a chance, but it didn’t do it. But just for a second here, let’s go ahead and go with that assumption. Maybe the glare is going to get added to the game. And when it does get added to the game, instead of just throwing a fit in the darkness, it’ll actually move around. And I don’t know, maybe you have to arm it with some torches or something, befriend it, give it a little bit of a light action, maybe even just glowberries. But perhaps the glare will be able to fly around your world, let you know where it’s dark, and actually place light sources down in order to help you light it up. Bam. Preview, the one we mentioned a little bit earlier on from a couple of weeks ago. Inside of this preview, the same preview we talked about with an Enderman update, they did this Minecraft behavior place block mechanic. These are AI goals, which means these are new capabilities that could theoretically be added to any Minecraft mob. greaser chicken, cold pig, or yes, maybe even the glare. Technically speaking here, this mechanic is all about not only placing blocks, but also taking blocks as well. If a mob has the place block mechanic, it will be able to take any block that it has and place it down well basically anywhere as defined by all of these parameters inside of your world. For an amazing mob that you find down in the lush caves, it’ll help you light up the caves on your next caving adventure. It seems like this functionality Where’d you go? There you are. It sure seems like this would be the exact functionality this little guy would want to have to be able to pull it off. Just like with this friend, the move loom over here. I think this thing is only recently possible. So, that’s two mobs related to one single recent update. If I had a penny for each time that happened. Well, right now that would be two, which isn’t a lot, but it’s still kind of weird. Next up next, it’s time for the intermission. How about time for a little miniame? And down in the mineshaft, the rascal, I got you. All we need to do is inside of the mineshaft, run around, listen to the game, look around, and find the rascal a small handful of times. Oh, now finding a rascal inside of a maze is a feat that is actually way more difficult than you would probably think. And actually, it might kind of already be in the game. So, this one right here, it’s another one of those mobs that I think never really stood much of a chance. The rascal was a cool idea, but it stated loot or at least shown loot inside of the initial reveal trailer was enchanted iron pickaxes. And, huh, enchanted iron pickaxes. It’s almost as if just this year inside of the spring to life drop, enchanted iron pickaxes are now offered up by the wandering trader. So, in a sense, maybe some functionality that the devs intended from this thing, it’s already made its way into the game. But just earlier this year in the Happy Gas update, an interesting functionality was added that could tie into the miniame. At least for me, my problem with this Rascal miniame is I can never find the thing. Imagine getting into a mine shaft, hitting a rascal, then it pops up on the locator bar, and you can use the locator bar to relocate it again and again, at least until you finish the mini game. I guess is more of a dream fan theory, but all of the mechanics behind the rascal are totally here. A mob that drops something. A mob that teleports. Yeah, we could do all of that since the beginning of time. Another mod that’s been possible inside of the game for a long, long time. Oh, is the tough golem with three different blocks. Carve pumpkin, some kind of wool, and a little bit of tough. We stack them up and then we get a statue. Once we get a statue, we give it an item, and it will actually display that item. maybe even walk around your base and just like basically show it off. Look at that, dude. You’re so cool. I take that away and then I think it’s meant to turn just back into a statue and basically wait for something else. Give it something new. It likes to hold it and maybe it’ll decide to walk around from time to time. Now, by the way, all of these cool mod functionalities that we’re checking out today, I’m doing it thanks to the beautiful Friends and Foes mod. You definitely have heard about it before. I’ll make sure I’ll leave that mod and one other one that I’ve used here in a second down in the description. Ah, so functionality for the tough golem. This thing was added a long, long time ago. First things first, crafting a mob, like making a golem. I mean, that’s pretty straightforward business. We’ve been able to do it for years with things like the snow golem, the iron golem, whatever. Item displays though, these things are a little bit more tricky. Or are they? Because they’re actually not really. All the way back in Minecraft 1.19.4 before December of 2023. Wait, no, it’s actually even farther back. March 2023 added inside of this update, we had this interesting item display functionality. This would have probably been used by the tough golem. These displays could not only display items, but also block states as well. You could use them in game if you’re technically knowledgeable to this very day. We also had this interaction entities thing added, which was a new type of entity that records attacks and interactions. So like interacting with a tough golem, man, it was all here. Now I still don’t know exactly how useful this would be. Wait a second. Who said that? But I’ll use this picture of these tough golem making sweet romantic love for our chart over here. Definitely possible. You know, as time has passed, the more that I’ve thought about it, I almost feel like for the very final mob boat, the devs literally had no third idea. So they said, “Hey, penguins are pretty cool. Why don’t we just go ahead and add them to the game?” And I don’t know, man. And like they’ll swim around and maybe like make your boat speed up or something. That could be pretty cool. Making your boat speed up. Hm. So, we basically have a boat inside the game and then we have an entity. Any of these wonderful penguins, thanks to the World of Penguins mod, we have an entity that say basically grabs on to the back of the boat and kicks it little tiny pink feet. And in order to speed the boat up, h entities attaching. Look, I know leads are a little bit different here. This wouldn’t be done with a lead probably, but entities attaching. H, that was a whole focus of happy gas. Now, your boat actually speeding up. I mean, that’s pretty simple. That’s just a basic speed attribute. At this point in the video, you may be wondering, will there be a single mob being dropped into the not possible column? Well, I can’t spoil it quite yet. You’ll just have to wait and see. But things are definitely looking pretty good. Oh, we Now, this is a big one right here. Up a top, the tallest crest in the land that I could find over here, I found myself but a simple lone cabin. Hm. Fireplace seems on, which means somebody’s definitely home. Perhaps it’ll be a friendly person. Oh, blue candle. H. I wonder if that’s a hint. So, maybe we ought to go ahead and walk up to the front door. Go ahead and Oh, it’s already open. We walk in and Oh my, it’s empty. Oh no. But all of a sudden, I hear a noise from outside the door. Oh, what in the world is that? But the ice knowledge are freezing me with a freezing effect that was added like a million years ago and throwing ice on me. Oh, I just I was wondering if you are home to stop this. Stop it. Leave me alone. Oh, no. No. No. Don’t freeze me. Don’t freeze me. Okay, so that’s a bad dangerous mob. That’s really bad. And I guess I’m the new foundine owner of a house. But a mob that places blocks in the world, drops them on you, and freezes you. H legit guys, I better be honest with you. I don’t even know how this happened, but the iceager, I almost completely forgot to add it into this video. The iceagger was going to be this new pillager mob that would live inside of the frozen peaks biome. You basically summon ice, drop it on you, and then freeze you. All of these mechanics have been in the game for a while now. Different kinds of ice. I mean, we’ve got options on options, but I would assume maybe the type of ice that would be used would be something similar to the ice that is created in the water when you walk on it with that frozen enchantment. Now, the actual freezing effect, I mean, that’s pretty straightforward. That’s powder snow. The ice touches you and then all of a sudden you get really, really cold. You start shivering and take a little bit of damage. Yeah, guys. I mean, look, from the looks of everything that we do into today, the Mava mobs very well could be making their return very, very soon. All of the setup is here. Mob losers, out of them that we took a look at today, which one is your favorite? If we could only get one, which is the one we should get and comment down below. whats your favorite mob vote loser?!
Idea for Pengun Ability : Assume that we can ride penguins in ice biome and in water as shown in some cartoon .
Penguins eat fishes etc .biggest enemy of polar bear , they trolls him. That would bee amazing 😂😂😂😂😂
🥜( nut )
Yo what about the Blaze King
What if the crab was like a mixture of allay and copper golem gimmicks where it is an auto farmer
Crab would work great with Happy Ghast
Copium, Mojang is just way too slow to add all of them in one update
Dude, having a glare either place torches for you, or be a floating light source, or both would be super cool. But, I've said this a million times over, I want a rideable ostrich in the game. I know the ostrich was more a part of the biome votes, but I want that mob in the game so badly. Please, Mojang?
The crab would also be awesome. I'd love to have that extra distance placing blocks, plus it would give the mangrove biome more life.
We need Justice for the Iceologer 🥶🥶🥶
Honestly, the glare has a lot of potential. It'd be very useful even if it did something like leave a temporary glowing spore in the dark that functions sort of like a flare of sorts. It could also serve an entirely unrelated purpose, like targeting a creature you hit and periodically inflicting short bursts of an intense slow debuff with a paralyzing gaze where their eyes glow and their face-hole opens sort of like an enderman mouth.
The glare could be fed by glowberries, you fill up it's timer, 2-4 second per berries, so it will make light that amount time you charged it.
I want the bee armor in glare video.
I want submarine in glow squid video
I want to see vultures, Meerkat. Mobs not ever added that I would love is Ducks, Swans, Seals, seahorses and Deers.
I thought the penguin would work similar to Dolphin's Grace but for boats. Penguin's Grace?
Everything’s gnarly
Moobloom is confirmed getting added in the yt short of them showing off the copper golem, copper armor and tools, it went to 2 dandelions at the end for like 2 sexonds
They are adding way too many small features and the game is becoming convoluted. They need to focus on adding more endgame content, new structures and bosses and dimensions
I would like to see the rascal as an underground trader rather than a 'hide and seek' mob. Heck a rescal village would be cool. An underground civilization? would be epic!, and I hope they add the ice-pillager and the penguins. Cold biomes need something more. The floating bush would be more fun as a flying lamp, imagine him lighting your way underground. would be cool
Idea: Make the moobloom change form if you feed it different flowers, so if you feed it a poppy, it will become red and have poppies growing on it, if you feed it a cornflower, it will become blue and have cornflowers growing on it, etc
