What is Minecraft’s most rare mob spawner? Any dungeon spawners are definitely going to be the most common. These ones are going to spawn zombies, skeletons, and sometimes spiders. If a spawner ever tried spawning where a naturally generating chest was, such as a buried treasure or a dungeon chest, the chest is always going to take priority. So, imagine one of these chests wanted to spawn here. Instead of just not spawning this spawner, it’s going to duplicate it and spawn it next to it. But when that happens, it loses all of the data. So, for some reason, the game autofills that with a pig spawner. I have no idea why. If you boot up 1.16 and use this seed, once you teleport to these coordinates, you will see a naturally generating quintuple pig spawner where in the middle there’s a buried treasure chest that doesn’t work. Basically, what’s happened is a buried treasure has tried spawning here, but a Badlands cave spider spawner has tried spawning here as well. And the way that buried treasures work, it has to be covered on all sides and it just duplicates the block that would be next to it. So, it’s duplicated one pig spawner four other times. What are your chances of just stumbling across this? Yeah, you’re probably never going to have that happen in your lifetime.
