Hello, hello, hello. How is everybody doing today? Hopefully your weekend has started out well. We are back on Stardude and continuing our quest to get to level 10,000 in Skull Cavern. Uh we have a little bit of maintenance to do here. Uh we did pick up some new spirit coals and so we need to upgrade those guys. So let’s go ahead and get Um, I think should be in storage. All right, there we go. Okay, so what we’re looking for is level three here. Nancy, good to see you. Got that one to level three. Oh, that was pretty lucky. There’s no guarantee on these. Okay, get that redone there. Bacon wrapped lemon pepper chicken. That’s sounding pretty good. Anything wrapped in bacon honestly sounds pretty good. Victis, good to see you. Chef Victus, I guess tonight. All right. Well, we should continue to keep up on some of this stuff. We’ve been kind of pseudo ignoring a lot of it, but we’ll keep making mayo and cheese, I guess. Doesn’t hurt anything. All right. So, we’ve got our our luck soup, our luck ginger ale. So, the big thing that we’re hoping is going to carry us today is the fact that it is the desert festival, which means we can also get food from the chef there, and that will stack on top of our other food buffs. Um, hopefully we’ll get enough eggs. We will also be able to pull uh a magic rock candy here or there. Uh, things like that. We’re going to have to resurface at some point um to get another buff cuz that’s going to run out I think about halfway through the day. I Yeah, we probably eat the most. Chicken’s probably the thing we eat the most. Uh let’s see. So, we’ll take some health food. Um, why do we have that? That’s probably we swapped that for an a pom ring is probably why that’s there. Um, okay. I think we are. We’ll just turn that off since we’re not going to pay much attention to it. There we go. Oh, that’s that’s frustrating if you got stuff in the hopper, but having technical issues. Yeah, that’s pretty rough. All right, we’ll have to decide based off of statues here. Friendship and greater. All right, I don’t think we’re going to worry too much. We’re not going to magic rock candy today. Uh, if we get a super buff of some kind, we might um like if we get the the great the luck instead of like the friendship or something like that. What’s our daily luck at? Our daily luck isn’t that good either. I think we’ll go ahead and go with we get two luck here, one luck here. We’re going to get luck off of I think three luck off of the the chef. I think that’ll be good to go. All right. Uh, do I not have There we go. I thought I had that installed. Uh, desert we go. All right. So, we’re not really going to participate that much in the desert festival outside of getting the the mining challenges. All right. So, we’re going to go with some rare fruit, some hot sauce, and we should get some rumpled fruit skinned. All right, so that gives us a speed buff and a plus three luck buff. All right, what do we have? Reach level 30. That one we will get done quite easily. That little ginger ale, little pumpkin soup and we are off to the races. So we are starting 57. We just met the requirements for the for the mission. So, we got that done. So, we’re starting at 5745 with this event. I’m hoping that we get some depth out of the event and then that’s going to get us the the extra depth that we need, which will get us to I’m hoping 8,000. That’s ambitious. I don’t know if we’re going to get there, but 8,000 would be nice. Uh that would be 2,250 essentially 255. Um that’s that’s asking a lot. I don’t know if that’s doable, but we’re hoping if we can get our average up because of this extra buff that we might be able to pull this off. We’ve picked up two more coal spirits which will clear rocks even faster. We are going to miss, if you’ve watched our shipwrecked series, we’re gonna miss that pyro technician. That would make this challenge go so much faster. Um, but we don’t have that on this build, so we are not going to use that. Um, all right. We got our our 50 eggs from meeting the challenge. Um, we’ve got a level two going here. So, uh, what is Gill’s I don’t think we can get anything crazy. Let’s see. Desert Fest Gilgill Gill, where are you? Skull Cavern. All right, Gill’s ratings. If we can get a 55 on our magic rock candy, we or we can get a 55 rating, we can get a magic rock candy. So, we’ll shoot for that as well. Okay, let’s rock and roll. Woohoo. We’d like to see those shafts right away. The mine shaft is definitely the way to go. How is everybody’s weekend going? Hopefully you had a good start to your weekend. Now, this is good for egg raiding, but there’s risk involved there in that we could start to make our life harder. All right. Feel like feel like Yep. Feels like there’s already a shaft open or a staircase somewhere cuz we didn’t get one right away. See, like that one more monsters definitely doesn’t help us, but it gives us an egg rating. Uh, might have to start to decide if we want to skip skip the statues or All right. Feel like we’re missing an exit symbol. Or we’ll get a it’ll give us a good handle on just how strong we think we are. All right, we’re flowing pretty good here. Feeling good so far. It’s been a couple of couple of maps that seem to be on the slower side. Missing the speed a little bit. We We’re a little slower than normal. Not a lot. Uh, normally we’d have a plus two. Right now we have a plus one. So, we’ll do Okay, I think 50 eggs. Take that. Come on. There we go. All right. We got early mine shafts. Hey, the desert festival is open, but we haven’t gotten any in a little while. 100 eggs. Well, it’s helping our our egg supply for sure. There we go. Yeah. See, that’s that’s the that’s the tradeoff. We get the bonuses, but we also potentially get the the negative effects off those point. There we go. All right. Well, there was the more serpents kicking in. Felt that. No effect. But so far, it’s not not killing us. Lots of eggs. I don’t remember there. Maybe it’s a depth thing because we’re so deep. Does it spawn um more calico or eggs? Cuz we’re seeing a lot just laying on the ground. I don’t remember I remember seeing that many. That’s a good way to start. Actually, I don’t mind the no effect. I don’t necessarily need the the positive bonuses. Bugs become assassin bugs. Well, that doesn’t sound good now, doesn’t it? Lose more eggs when you’re knocked out. That’s not I mean that’s a bad effect, but not one I’m overly worried about. Monsters do less damage there. We’ll take that one. Oh, for sure. Victus, man. Get get yourself some rest. So far, the extra monsters and Such hasn’t been horrible. We are surviving so far. So rating at 28. All right. Got 48 seconds on that. So I don’t remember Does our egg rating reset if we leave the mines? I don’t think so. Normally, you would have to start over, but we can we can come back in at the depth that we left at. So, what we’ll probably want to do here is about when our buff runs out. Pumpkin soup. We’ve lost our ginger ale buff. We need to find a a stopping spot. Let us jump right back to that spot. So, we’re at 20 5828. We’re also probably going to have to clean our inventory out here in a second. It’s 5830. We started at about what? 7:30. 1:30. 2:30. This will take us to 930, but we have or we’re losing our our rumpled fruit skin buff here. So, I think let’s do a couple of things here. First off, let’s clean out our inventory. Next, since we’re at 5830, let’s go ahead and leave the mine. Hop back down here. Get our buff again. Rare fruit and hot sauce. All right, we are buffed back up, but I don’t see our egg rating anymore. Let’s see. It starts over. Okay, so that’s a decision we’re going to have to make. I think I’m going to forgo really trying to get the 55 egg rating. Um, if we get it, we get it. But I think the buff is better for depth. That’s the whole point here. So leaving and coming back doesn’t bother me, but is going to make it so that unless we get really lucky on this second run, getting that 55 egg range is going to be kind of tough. If they stacked, if we would have continued where we left off, that would have been good. But once we left the mines, we could have turned it in. So whatever we were at, we could have turned it in. Um, but once we came back into the mines, then it reset, which is fair. Makes sense. So, I think we’re in the 20s if I remember right. Pushing 30 maybe. I know I saw 28 at one point. On the plus side, that also should mean that all of those effects will have dropped off as well. which may not be a bad thing. Give us an exit. Oh, for sure. For sure. Nancy, take care of yourself. I have to sometimes when I’m watching somebody else stream almost force myself to type in the chat cuz I drop into lurker mode real fast. Usually cuz I’m doing something else while watching the stream, either working or prepping something. Uh, speaking of prepping things, I I think I’m up to 40, high 30s, maybe um, Joa inspired mods that I found so far that I haven’t tested anything yet. I I downloaded them, installed them, and now I need to need to fire up the game with with those Jojo mods on and see what happens. Uh there’s some some crazy ones in there. Um some look pretty fun actually. And that doesn’t that’s just the new ones. Uh doesn’t count like the there’ll be some of our normal mod packs that we’ll go ahead and run as well. You know, like the experience bars and stuff like that. We will we’ll continue to run those as well most likely. So, don’t know what we’re going to get to, but but I do have to go through them still. I’m hoping tomorrow spend some time going through the mods, making sure there’s no compatibility issues. Everything, from what I could tell, all look to be pretty solid. Um, what I tend to do is I tend to go and read through the posts looking for people complaining about bugs or incompatibilities and stuff like that. we read through the descriptions. Also, kind of check the date, right? You know, depending on the type of mod it is. Um, you know, if it’s too old, sometimes it’ll just not work, especially if it’s a pre 1.5. But I think I think everything I pulled is most likely usable. I feel like we’re missing missing an exit somewhere. Yep, there it is. There’s some creative modders out there, though. Um, found some decent visual updates, um, which is kind of cool. Um, you thought my last farm was joified. This one’s going to be crazy amounts of joified. Still has some more I want to follow up on. And again, I haven’t done a compatibility test yet either. So, all right, we’re probably due for some ginger ale. Now, I’m debating on I love the Walk of Life mod, but I don’t know if I’m going to put it on for for this playthrough or not. Like, I’m not sure if updating the skill system, but I’m thinking we’re going to go full perfection again. Uh, I think I’m going to play it a little different than the last one. The last one we were pro Jojoa do everything Jojo like we bought all the walnuts and golden walnuts on Ginger Island and stuff like that. This one I’m thinking of playing not not necessarily anti- community or anti- Jojo definitely money driven like the number one priority will be to make money just to but what you do with that money is up to you right you can provide provide for the town be a a good steward of Pelican Town even though you’re showed you linked. I haven’t I haven’t worked out all those details. That’s what I’m kind of working on right now as I download mods cuz also the type of mods I find will sometimes inspire that. There’s definitely a a lot of people, at least the modders that I’m finding, treat the Joa stuff either like Amazon or Walmart. That seems to be the inspirations for a lot of the mods. We’ve got online shopping, we’ve got computers, we’ve got all kinds of stuff. I’m looking forward to it. I went back through just to kind of look at the channel had a a moment where we started to gain some momentum. And I don’t know that it was because of the Jojo run, but it happened during the Jojo run. So, it’s going to be fun to go back to to Jojo. A lot of fond memories from that standpoint. 10:00. Uh, we’re at 40. We might be able to. Things go really well here. We get a lot of depth. I don’t think egg numbers are going to be a problem. I think we’re going to be able to buy anything we want. If we’re going to pop back up at the halfway point, the other thing we need to check is see what citizen vendors there are at that point. I did not do that this time. We’re getting denied an exit here. All right, we got to pay attention to our health here. All right. Am I just not seeing it? Jeez, this is our slowest level of the night. I think that one took a while. Two slow levels in a row. We were rolling and now we’re probably not going to get our 55. Our pace definitely slowed down there. again. Egg numbers I don’t think are going to be an issue. A witch hat. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a witch hat. That’s kind of cool. Yeah, those two levels really slowed us down. All right, let’s start looking for a depth number 5945, I think. And then we’ll try to jump out. All right, there’s 59 45. We got to 46. So maybe maybe we’ll get lucky and get a 55 at some point. We definitely blew past the 55, but because we left the mine and that’s on us again. It’s deciding if we want to come out for that that second um what you call it the the second rumpled fruit skin. That’s three luck. I think it’s worth it. So, we probably will continue to do that. Let’s go inside. There we go. We only need we do two a day and three a day. We’ve got plenty there. We’ll sell off some mayo. All right. So, let’s see. Let’s update our stats here. We started at 5745. What did we get to? 5945, I believe. So, it was a 200 run. So, we’re on pace for 1,400. That’s not enough. I was really hoping that that would get us closer to what we got with the um magic rock candy. We did that one run of 355. I really need to get closer to that 300 mark, I think, to make this happen. So, little disappointing. Um maybe we chase the statues a little bit less and go for depth. I don’t know for sure cuz we did go after some statues as opposed to going down the mine shafts or staircases immediately. All right. Well, let’s crash, get some rest. All right. I don’t know if I want to commit to rock candy on this quite yet. Oh, it’s salmon berry season. I forgot about that cuz we give up two. We gain three. We get five luck out of rock candy. thinking maybe maybe we divide it. Let’s do rock candy on our first leg. See if we can get the if we use one rock candy on our first leg and we can get to level 55 egg rating, then we can turn that in and replace that rock candy. Okay, let’s try that. We got decent luck. Little under half of the zero to 125. We can rot candy up, food buff up, rumpled fruit skin, and ginger ale up, and make a quick dive and see if we can get to 55. Then we can come out, turn that into gill, get our second rumpled fruit skin buff, and then probably go pumpkin soup after that. Um, let’s try that. That might work as a pattern. Give us the fruit. Give us a sauce. This will also give us a speed buff as well, which is always nice. So, we got one speed from that, one speed from the rock candy. So, this is immediately going to pop because we are going to be well below level 30. All right, rock candy, ginger ale. Okay, so what do we have? We have five luck, six luck, 7 8 nine luck, plus one plus two and a half speed, plus two mining. Doesn’t really matter. Some defense, some attack, and already two eggs. And we just got 50 uh because we just finished the mission. All right, let’s rock and roll. Because we are going to try to get the 55 on this first run. We will get the statues. Now, we might choose to start skipping statues in the second half of the run. We’ll see. We’ll see how things go. All right, we are definitely popping exits pretty quick. Uh, I saw the statue but was midclick when I saw it. Seafoam pudding. Uh, we do take the time to check these. If you get a mine shaft, it’s definitely worth it. Eight levels. That’s what we’re talking about. Uh, let’s go ahead and get that. Lose more eggs if you’re knocked out. That’s okay. It’s worth one egg level. So, that’s why we are clicking those. You get a free egg leg level. Otherwise, it is five levels. So, that’s worth an egg level right there. So, but that’s why we do click them. Now, they give positive and negative buffs. They can make your life harder in that they increase the danger. I was kind of hoping one of those would pop a a mine shaft, but they can also give positive buffs as well. I mean, they’re not all negative. They can give you eggs. They can give you like less damage for monsters, stuff like that. All right. This Oh, I was about to say this feels like the exit’s all the way at the end. But then we got our exit. All right. You can feel I think you can feel the difference, right? Look how quick we’re getting exits now. And we’re getting a lot more mine shafts, which is always welcome. What’s our inventory look like? Not too bad yet. Let’s go ahead and Oh, no. It’s not all the way to 999 yet. H. These are going to slow us down a bit. Man, I wasn’t kidding when it said infested Run, run, run, run. Get your little pixel legs moving. All right, that wasn’t horrible. As far as infested levels go, it wasn’t a giant level. We had to chase them all over the place, which is kind of nice. It’s all pretty centralized. They’re not always negative. Kind of that risk, you know? Is you might get a positive, you might get a negative. Are you willing to click on it? I’m willing to click on it because of the extra egg level. For me, that is is worth it. I think we can live through anything it’s going to throw at us from a negative standpoint. Unfortunately, it’s kind of hard to see our our egg rating since it’s underneath all of these buffs, which having lots and lots of buffs isn’t a bad thing, but is something we’ll have to again. We’re probably going to go until our fruit buff and magic rock candy buff wear off. So, at that point, we should be able to see where we’re at. Then we’ll make the decision if we’re close enough to it feels like we could ah was pre-clicking to get to the statue and the exit popped up and we got the exit instead. Lots of bats. There we go. 41. Okay. What has worn off? I think our one of our speed buffs wore off, I think. So, we still have 259 on our magic rock candy. That statue is still giving us speed buff. So, we got plus one, plus two, plus three, and a half on our speed. Our ginger ale has worn off. So, let’s pop our ginger ale. I don’t mind no effect. I think that’s probably 44, not 54. If it was 54, that would be great. But all right, we cross crossed 6,000 a while ago. That’s awesome. Going for eight. But again, that’s probably me doing my normal overly optimistic getting 2,250 in a single single week run. That’s what we’re trying to do. I mean, we could get the number. We just have to run longer and we might do that. We’ll see. But my goal was to try to pull that within a week. Chicane is probably asking a lot. But where’s the fun if you don’t challenge yourself? Okay, we’re something that ends in a nine. I’m going to assume 49. Feels like it would be about 49. That ends in a zero, so we’re going to say that’s 50. It’s 60. We’re golden. But I’m going to say it’s probably 50. So 55 is within striking distance. When our buffs run out, then we will go ahead and thought I saw something back there. Yeah, looks like 51 ginger ale rock candy. So our rumpled fruit skin has worn off. Uh but we got a minute 24 left on our rock candy. So, I think we’ll run until the rock candy runs out and we’ll take stock of where we’re at at that point. But that’s 52, so not too worried about hitting the 55. There’s 54. All right. So, that replaced our rock candy. So, that’s We’re not down any rock candy. Obviously, if we would have done that without the rock candy, we would be up one, but also we might not have made it if we didn’t use the rock candy. So, it’s probably worth using it. We’re definitely spawning some more monsters though, aren’t we? Look at that. Woo! Run, star, dude. Run. Animal cracker. All right. Not too bad. Let’s see. We got our ginger ale still. We got our rock candy still and magical shoes, which are all this is going to end at pretty much the same time. So, let’s start paying attention. We’re at 94. We’ll also try to again, you want to end on a multiple of five so that we don’t have to redo any levels. if we can help it. So once those bus run out, we’ll stop probably at the first multiple of five. Go out. We’ll also check the vendors. See if there’s anything we want to buy off of them. That was a good run. That was 155 in the first half. So, that’s better pacing. It’s better than our 200. So, the rock candy I think made did definitely made a difference. We’re not going to quite have that low today. Actually, we really don’t need the statues this time. We got our our level 55. We can’t get that again. So, I don’t think we might try to slip out and see if you can do turn that in twice. I doubt it. That wouldn’t make any sense. I can definitely definitely feel slower. What do we have? We only have just the Yeah, we just have just the ginger ale. So, one and a half instead of We were up to three and a half there at one point speedwise. That was nice. Missing that already. But as long as we don’t have to walk very far, it’s actually not too bad. Cactus seeds. That’s appropriate for the desert. Uh, missed the missed the mine shaft. And we’re out. There we go. Thank you. So far, none of the negative effects have really hurt us that much. We got lowish on health. I think we hit half health a couple of times, but nothing that we can’t live through. cuz we can also pick up that speed buff again, which would be nice, right? So, it’s like I think we’ll not go out of our way to chase statues, but if they’re conveniently located, we might as well cuz the negative effects haven’t gotten us in any trouble yet. If we were taking way too much damage, and such eight levels. There we go. Then it would maybe be in our best interest to ignore those statues. This isn’t a bad level in general. Pretty small. See, we have to run all the way back to the beginning. Wink run. Just had a little bit of our speed boost going there. How are we doing on eggs? Our inventory is packed full again. Too bad. cracker. I don’t remember on this play through where we were at for who was getting crackers and who still needed crackers. Beautiful. Oh, I thought that was um thought I saw a mine shaft, but alas it was not. The skeletons are after us. Oops. Right there at the entrance. Sometimes I’ll wait for an explosion to hit. like the nap palm ring to kick in just to see if we’re going to get lucky. Maybe catch ourselves a a mine shaft before we take the the exit cuz you just never know. Oh, liking that. Wouldn’t mind those appearing at the entrance every single time. We would fly through the levels. No man, no effect. No exits over there. Did we miss one of the beam? We did. Beautiful. Oops. I wonder I’d have to look up what the formulas are, but if you get the monsters do more damage and the monsters do less damage, I wonder if that puts you back to just normal damage or if they’re percentages that go up and down depending on the order that you get them in. Don’t know for sure. All right, we’re leaving stuff on the ground. So, that means we check our inventory cuz it’s probably full. We’re up to 5,000 eggs. Loving that. Four levels. blowing stuff. Ah, I saw it right right as I clicked. Didn’t quite get the full benefit there. Oh, this is going to be a H. This one’s rough. They can’t hurt us. It’s just the time it’s going to take to clear all of these slimes. Okay, see if we can get them to all kind of bunch up on us here. So, they were just crazy. I’m thinking my next playthrough, I think tomorrow, we’re going to start another Jojo run uh from scratch and we’ll do perfection on that run. Um, today I pulled I think it was right around 40 uh 40 Joa themed mods. So, every it’s we’re going to go deep into the the Jojo universe if we can. Um there’s everything from like one of them adds two NPCs to the game that are um clerks at Joa. Um lots of farm mods. Lots of things are going to be blue in that playthrough. But that’s kind of the plan. I think uh starting tomorrow I think we’re going to start a brand new playthrough that’ll be Joa themed. Um and obviously we’ll do the Jojo route on that one. Uh we might even I think there’s a mod to Mary Morris. Uh, we might even marry Morris. Um, I know it exists. I don’t know that much about it, but but yeah, that’s I think we’re going back to Joja for our next playthrough. Last night we wrapped up the um the Lost Island, the shipwreck mod or the shipwreck version. So, we need something new. So, I think that’s what we’re going to do. Um, but yeah, the blue chickens are fun. Now, um I’m sure you know this, but just just in case you don’t, um obviously when you go in to buy a chicken, it’s random. Uh but you can just hit escape or I whatever the if you’re playing on the Switch, whatever the equivalent of that is like if you get a white chicken or a brown chicken, you can just cancel out of that and just keep doing it over and over and over again. So, you don’t have to like buy a chicken if you don’t like the color. That’s how we got all of ours. Yeah, I figured you did. Um, I just would feel horrible if somebody didn’t know that and they’re like buying chickens and like, “Oh, I didn’t get a blue in this one.” Yeah, that’s how we got it. Um, sometimes you get them right away, sometimes it takes a few. But but yeah, we bought we bought a lot of chickens. Um, but the I think you’re on the Medallands farm, so the Meadowlands farm works really well for that. The blue grass makes a huge difference. Uh, especially if you’re raising chickens. the cows and the goats and stuff will destroy your grass twice as fast. But but the chickens, like I said, we had we had 144 chickens and then we did have some barn animals, but I had mostly the entire farm was covered in blue grass, but they would make it through the year and not eat all the grass with the blue grass. So, it actually worked out pretty well. 48. Is that what you’re going to do? Are you going to Are you going to try to do the 48 four coups? I think that’s what I saw in the chat the last time I saw anybody talking about it. 48’s a lot of blue chickens. Also, the other tip for planting your grass, if you have seen it or know of it, is uh fence posts or lightning rods work. um if you put them over the top of one of the tiles of blue grass, the animals can’t eat that blue grass. And so then there’s a chance that it will always spread from that point. So you can actually create like a a system, a grid system of spawners essentially that will keep spawning bluegrass for you. So that actually helps a lot. Uh if you know that one too, that’s a good tip. If you don’t, I’m happy to talk more about that one as well. Like obviously if we went longer, we could get we could definitely get more levels, but trying to do it in a just a one week span. Um, so far the the desert festival hasn’t been as impactful as I had hoped. I was really hoping to pull some 300 level days out of the desert festival. So far, we’re we’re over 200 for all three days. Our best was 270, which was yesterday. Today, I’m going to guess 240, 250. But it was a bad luck day. I actually we’ve done quite well compared to what I thought we were going to do. I thought today was going to be really bad. So not disappointed. So conservatively, I think two more streams after this. I think 10,000 is within sights of two streams. Maybe one if we do really well today and really well in the next stream. But that’s again that’s usually me being overly optimistic or believing that I can get more done than I actually can which is not uncommon. I appreciate it. No thanks. It’s fun is I’ve mentioned this before, this style of game play where you’re not doing you’re just it’s still a challenge, but the actual actions here are very much repetitive. I find relaxing. Oh crap, we passed out. I wasn’t even paying attention to Oh, 6449. If I only would have clicked on that. All right, that’s going to be a 6445 is all that’s going to count for that one. Some you get a treasure which is kind of cool. And sometimes you get a mine shaft like that. There’s the auto patter. All in all, that was a good level for us. Quick exit, mine shaft, and an auto patter. We’ll take that combination all day long. All right, feeling good. Starting off strong here. Got a good start going. Probably shouldn’t have said anything. I feel like I jinxed us into a slow level here. All right, back on track. Treasure rooms have been good to us. Treasures have been going really well. All in all, we haven’t hit any major snags. Hey, slime cake. Pink cake out of a slime tastes so much better than normal pink cake. We’ve never had pink cake out of a slime. You’re missing out. Like I said, I think again, player perception is not always accurate, but it sure feels like that that plus one luck from the Statue of Blessings carries um some other buff or some other perk or or something cuz we’ve done quite well when we get that. Oh, excuse me. All right. Well, we walked over here. We’ll blow him up. I’m a summoner. Last time I played D and D, and it’s been a long, long time ago, uh, I was a ranger. That’s what I played. But that was almost like a lifetime ago. It was that long ago. All right, let’s see. I think our ginger ale buff has worn off. So let’s rely that um in nonDN like just other other games that have similar type of stuff I tend to play my my my leaning is towards the tankier your classes kind of depends. Um, I also tend to lean towards, this is going to sound antisocial, but highly solable classes. Uh, so for instance, if there is a paladin or a paladin-like class, I’ll tend to lean towards those partially for the the RP side. You know, being a a holy knight is kind of cool, but in a video game sense, it’s also they are very very solo friendly classes. If I can wear heavy armor and heal myself, how good is life? But I think I have a natural tendency to want to be the defender of other people, which is where the the tanky classes come in. usually don’t play a lot of healers or anything like if I’m playing DPS, I don’t even I don’t like to be the old the proverbial glass cannon, right? Like I’ll give up some DPS for some survivability over a high high DPS with a more fragile nature. Those are my tendencies. Now, obviously, every game has a little bit different way of playing. So, for when I played Lord of the Rings online, my main was a burglar, a hobbit burglar. So, very rogue style gameplay, stealth gameplay, stuff like that. Um, which was a different way of playing. Oh, we got another coal spirit. It’s only level one. We’ll upgrade him later. All right, let’s keep the healer in there as well. I don’t want to lose my healer. We’re going to lose some offensive power there, but that’ll break more rocks. Hopefully, we’re not that far away from having a complete complement of coal spirits. What do you play, Noah. What’s your class of choice if given a choice? And again, it’s always contextual because when I would I don’t know why I ran down there. Um, when I was playing Minecraft on the Hypixel server, we played a game called Warlords. And in that one, I played a healer. And a lot of that was because I was playing with my kids, and allowing them to stay alive longer and have more fun was important to me. So, so I play the healer. I also like to play classes that have if there’s kind of any way to essentially get an assist. If there’s a stat that gives you something like that, I’ll lean towards those. I would prefer to get the assist than the kill, if that makes sense. All right, pay attention to our health here. It’s mostly the bats. The slimes were immune to. Let’s get over here into the rocks so we blow stuff up. Maybe we can find an exit. There we go. But again, it does vary from game to game on what your your tendencies are going to be everywhere. They tend to die pretty quickly and if they have any kind of Oh, I saw the mine shaft right up there at the top. um any kind of concentration or density, you can blow up a lot of rocks with them. I still want to try to set up a test where I think if we reinstall the the quick save and we quick save right before a floor like or right when we get a floor like that and then we go down the mine shaft over and over again to see if it gives the same number each time. if that’s random at the time of clicking or if it’s predetermined and then if it is predetermined if we can get that baseline then if we can get one that has two like that to see if they are the same. So if every mine shaft now what would we do with this information? Absolutely nothing. There’s not much you could do about it. Although I suppose theoretically if it’s predetermined, it seems like it’d be reasonable to create a mod that would tell you how many levels a mine shaft was. That seems like it would be doable. If it’s completely random, probably still do it. I’ll have to look and see. Wonder if there’s a mod like that that tells you this is a fivelevel mine shaft. This is a sevenle mineshaft. I don’t know. I can’t say I’ve ever seen one, but I’ve never looked. And there are tens of thousands of mods at least up on Nexus. This one might be the beast of a run. Let’s hope. Cross your fingers. We’re going to go right to the cavern. All right, here we go. 6710. That’s what we like to see. Mine shafts right away. That can be one of the biggest gains. Like finding lots of ladders is good, but finding tons of mine shafts speeds up the depth so much. the more of those we hit because you figure even a bad mine shaft is three levels and it could be up to 15. Now we once we get an exit, we’re going to take it. Like I don’t want to spend all day looking for a mine shaft. I don’t know if be interesting to do a test. The problem with testing things like that is there’s so many variables. I mean, I guess I guess if we stopped and just ran the same day over and over and over again with different configurations with enough runs, you could probably get a feel for I didn’t even see that mind shift till I clicked. You might be able to get a feel if it’d be better to stay on a level that you have an exit. You have a staircase. Do you stay on that level and continue looking for the mine shaft or take the exit and move on, right? Because you got to figure, let’s say you don’t take the exit and so you just keep breaking rocks looking for that mine shaft. If you get it, it probably would pay for itself. If you don’t, like right there, we’re out. We’re on to the next one. Let’s say we spent that we cleared every rock on that level. and we got the mine shaft, arguably we’d be ahead. But the moment you don’t, you burnt through a lot of times. Uh, is taking the sure thing better than taking the chance at a better thing? Like here, I’ll go ahead and kill those. Take a couple of seconds just to see if we can pull a a mine shaft, but So, I don’t know. Be an interesting experiment. Not one that I’m going to do today, but it would be fun to to set up and try. But again, I think you’d have to run the same day. is you’d have to run it with like, okay, we’ll take the quick exit every time and maybe run that day 10 times and get yourself like an average of how many how many levels you make and then run that day 10 more times clearing everything you can looking for a mine shaft. It would take that would take a while to do, but it would inform our strategy. The problem is right now we’re close enough to our goal. It would take more time to do that experiment than just finish the goal. So, don’t know if we’ll ever get to that. Don’t know if they’re I’m trying to think of a math mathematical way to figure that out. Yeah, these things are too much linked to the RNG component of it. This isn’t too bad. It’s not overly infested. Wasn’t the quickest level, but definitely not the slowest. So, there we go. Trying to blow up a slime. Another auto fetter. Our inventory isn’t horrible quite yet. Ginger ale still kicking. Now, if you’ve been watching our our other series when we ran the walk of life skill mod, these levels with the pyro technician skill would be insane. I think we would conservatively I think we could get through these 1.5 to two times faster. So that 200 to 300 would become 400 to 600 levels a day. I think it would make that much of a difference because imagine you popped onto this screen, you killed or kill your first enemy and it clears pretty much every single thing in the room, right? Not only would it give you quicker exits, but if you are going to find that elusive mine shaft, you got a lot better chance of finding it. I feel like it’d be worth trying. We might maybe when we do a we hit 10,000 on this save, maybe we’ll load back up our uh our deserted island mod cuz that one is not near as deep as we are in this one. But I think we’re in the 1500 to 2,000 range as far as levels in that one. So, we’re deep enough that I think we could do an experiment with it. Chasing down slimes. So, I don’t know, man. That that 355 we pulled I think two streams ago. I don’t think it was in the last one. For some reason, we haven’t been able to repeat that performance. We’ll see how this one does, but I’m not feeling we’re on the an over 300 pace here. Might have just been one of those super lucky runs. They happen sometimes where it’s like the RNG was just in your favor. If you did everything exactly the same a second time, you can’t repeat it, right? It just it’s just a really really lucky run. That might be what we got that day. So, I don’t feel like we really did anything different. It was a We did do the rock candy. Well, two two rock candies that day much like we’re doing today. So, I don’t know. We were we weren’t using ginger ale. So, that one would have been rock candy and espresso for speed. Holy cow. It’s a good series of good series of treasure floors. So, this is actually trying to naturally find the exits as best we can. And again, we could also speed ourselves up if we would just carpet bomb these levels. That’d be another way to go. But we’re kind of trying to preserve the challenge into how we we mostly played this character. We’ve got our little coal guys. They’re helping us a ton. Three aridium bars. I’d like to say you can never have too many aridium bars, but on this playth through that we arguably have too many aridium bars. I think we already sold 10,000 at one point as part of a sub challenge to try to get 10,000 redeem bars. I think we did it and sold them if I recall. 10:00 Let me think. I think 6950 is within striking distance. 7,000. Maybe not. Yeah, I’m not sure in this time we could pull that many levels, but question is, does this be our best run of the day? That was a hall to get to that one. When you start breaking that many rocks and don’t get an exit, often times it means there’s already one exposed. Then you have to go find it. All right. We’re not going to get all those like you break one rock and you get an exit right at the beginning. But you never know, sometimes you’ll get surprised. But as of right now, it’s holding true. I don’t even want to look at our our level right now cuz I know it has felt very slow. So, we’ll save our disappointment for later. All right. Uh, I have since did a little bit of computer kind of maintenance. um had a new video driver, but I don’t think that would be it. I still think it’s We’ve got a mod that’s potentially causing some slowing, but we’re not getting it tonight. But we have a whole different set of mods loaded. So, what I might need to do, our first step in diagnosing that problem will be to cross reference Star Dudes mod list with the shipwreck mod list cuz then arguably you can eliminate mods that they’re both using. And now it can sometimes just be combinations of mods as well, but eliminate the ones they’re both using and then concentrate on those that are different, those that are unique to the the deserted island playthrough versus the superhero playrough. See if we can track it down. Oh, there’s an exit. Just didn’t see it. It is why I tend to just keep moving and not stay and clear everything out of one area. Like so we’ve seen this whole map. That’ll help a little bit, but we don’t have any of our big perks that would make for a really good run. That’s fine. They’re all going to average out, right? That’s kind of the point of get a good run, you get a bad run. But the average of the two should be okay, which seems to be right about 200 for an average, I think. Guess where things were flying. 250 was my hope. I do like having the speed though. Even if this is less effective, it’s arguably easier to play having the speed buff. Yeah, here’s definitely a level where we’ve either missed an exit or it’s just slow giving it to us. Feel it. Just taking too long. Oh, sad ghost or I guess moose. I see an exit down there. So, we’ll head in that direction. If our whole buddies pop us someone before we get there, we’ll take it. Otherwise, we’ll just keep moving towards that exit. Oh, the other the other change that we made now is we have to fight everything by hand. We we don’t have our quiver anymore. We gave up our quiver or more coal, guys. So, I guess that’s another parameter. So, there’s a number of parameters we changed, which isn’t the ideal test, but So, we have a little bit more luck. We have more coal guys, coal spirits, but we gave up our quiver. So, we have speed, more coal, guys, more luck, less offense. We gave up offense for speed, both in the ability to uncover rocks, which the extra coal guy helps us with, and the the bus, the speed bus. and we’ll see if all that change makes any kind of a difference. Be hilarious if we get the exact same number. It’s like, okay, you changed all of that and nothing. No difference. By and large, I think in Stardw Valley, and this isn’t a bad thing, it’s not a critique. It just is. I think the in most cases the RNG is the determining factor, not the stats. So even on an unlucky day, if you just get some good RNG rolls, you still get really good stuff. And on a really lucky day, if you get some bad RNG rolls, you don’t. And so I think luck and parameters and all the data behind the scenes, they set the scope for the RNG, right? So let’s say you have really really good buffs and stats and stuff like that. And so what that means is your rolls are going to always be between five and 10, right? 10 being a great roll. Well, you could get bunches of fives and sixes and stuff like that, even with that potential for awesome rolls. But then on the flip side, you could have a bad set of stats and so all now all your rolls are going to be between like four and eight, right? So, not as good. Um, but you could get a whole bunch of sevens, right? you could actually get better rolls even though your stats say that they shouldn’t be as good. So, it’s can be deceptive sometimes. Might have to actually eat. We rarely have to eat something. Usually our rings and everything keeps us alive to the point where we don’t have to worry too much about our health. So that’s why you’ll hear players talk about it. They’ll be like, “It was a bad luck day.” And on that bad luck day, see, look at that. We got two of these with our luck being low. Um on that bad luck day, I got two auto pedters, right? And on a good luck day, I got zero. Yeah, that can happen. Like I can say I haven’t I’m not looking at the number per se. This feels better than the last run as far as how quick we’re getting exits and stuff. Now, partially that could be perception bias. The bias might be because I’m moving faster. I feel like I’m making progress more, right? It’d be completely untrue, right? But and sometimes you just feel like something’s happening. Ran away from the bat. So maybe we ah saw it too late. got that tunnel vision. Once you get that tunnel vision on, like I need to get to this and do a thing. It’s easy to just not even see the thing until it’s too late. All right, we up ourselves a little bit of espresso here. But in the end, putting on a developer hat here, player perception is the reality of that player’s game, right? So, we got 33 of those little guys following us around now, which is pretty crazy. Come on. There we go. A spam clicking just couldn’t couldn’t align my cursor. There we go. This guy little coal guys are doing awesome today. Open this up. All kinds of exits. Doing their job. Actually, we’re doing quite well. See, there’s probably there’s a chance they opened up an exit behind us. We just didn’t slow down enough to look. But we knew there was an exit at the end of that level. So, we just took the sure thing over the the hope and just see what we can do. We got 750. Good job, coal guys. They did the work on that one. So, what we’re going to do is do a quick just kind of general check around the level. Make sure there’s not an existing exit before we pop around too much here. A really good ranch dressing. I like ranch, but I will admit I can’t say I have a favorite or preference for a particular ranch. Um, I have to ask if you are a ranch dressing person. Did you grow up and or affiliate yourself in any way with the Midwest? It’s a very Midwestern thing, ranch dressing. Not that other people can’t like ranch dressing, but but there is a bit of a stereotype of Midwesterners loving their ranch. I know people from other parts of the country that look at you weird. They’re like, “You put ranch on what? But I am a ranch dressing fan. How you doing, Cinjun? Lydia, how you doing? Good to see you. All right, this level shouldn’t be too bad. Except now we have to run all the way back to the beginning. Nope. We wouldn’t have had to. I just missed a guy. Oh, yeah. Our aridium’s gotten insane. Um, so yeah, there there’s a lot in there. And then we’ve got like 25 heavy heavy furnaces processing just aridium. And it’s still not keeping up. I had to remove all the other stuff out of that chest. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. We’re almost 8,000. We’ve already sold I think we’ve sold 10 to 12 13,000 Aridium bars already in this save. Yeah, the the amount of Aridium is insane. Now, that is because we are at level 7,000 in the mines. Like pretty much all that spawns mostly is aridium. So So we are definitely ripping through. Oh, look a little patch of gold. Isn’t that cute? It’s like I will make you a make a liar out of you. It’s not just aridium. But yeah, it’s it’s actually pretty ridiculous. It’s taken a while on this save to just accept the fact that we’re just going to run past just ignore huge swaths of aridium or right like in any other playthrough. It’s like if you got to a level like this and you’re like I must get every single piece of aridium off this level. We have gone so crazy that Aridium more is meaningless honestly in this save. Hope you guys are having a good weekend. Okay. So, Montana. Yeah, that makes sense. I grew up in in Iowa. I know people from Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Illinois. Again, it’s kind of that that Midwestern core. Ranch is just a thing. It’s better. Watch our health. And that’s true of all kinds of things. You know, in different parts, different parts of the country, you’re going to have different go-to foods. There we go. We’ve recovered our health, so we’re doing okay. take our exit. I think that’s a fair assessment. Anybody I’ve ever met from Louisiana or just cinjuning country in general, usually the the stereotype is just don’t ask. Don’t Don’t ask what’s in the food. If it’s good, it’s good. You don’t want to know. You don’t want to know what kind of whatever is in this. At least that’s been my experience. You don’t ask too many questions, you can enjoy it. I’ll admit, in my younger days, I was pretty picky. I’m still a picky eater, let’s be honest. But I have gotten to the point where for the most part, if it’s something I’ve never tried. All right, 120. What are we at? All right, 7310. Okay, we actually did better today than we did yesterday. So, yesterday we had pumpkin soup luck buff, ginger ale luck buff, but we had negative spirits. Uh we had no real help on our our buffs here. Same thing today, right? Like our buffs here are not helping us in any capacity. We had better luck today, right? So, our luck here was a little bit better, but we forgo the the luck buffs and went with speed buffs today. And yesterday we got 165 levels. Today, we got 170. Um, this might be what got us a little bit more. Uh, we’ll hang here long enough to see if we can find a mine shaft. We’re not going to get five more levels naturally, but if we can get a mine shaft, we could potentially get lucky and drop, but not looking like it’s going to happen. All right. We’re out of here. So, we actually did better with the luck B or with the speed buffs than we did the luck buffs. So, Oh, for sure. Cinjun, for sure. I’m kind of as I’ve gotten older, like let’s say I was at an event and food was served, there’d be certain things I probably wouldn’t eat, but for the most part, I’d probably just eat whatever was served. Now, given that I’m going to assume, are you a fan of seafood? Because that is definitely my I I don’t do seafood. I I grew up I developed no taste for seafood growing up. So, the seafood is not something that I tend to eat. All right. I just I don’t think we’ve gone outside on the farm this entire stream. We’ve just teleported directly to the desert every single day. So, I think tomorrow we’ll poke our head outside, see if anything’s a mess. That’s right. Yeah, I do recall. Yeah, that’s that’s one that I’m just like, yeah, I I didn’t grow up eating it. I grew up in, you know, steak, pork, chicken, potatoes, corn, green beans. your very very classic Midwestern meat and potatoes type of type of stuff. So that’s what I tend to eat. Now, do you do the big like whatever they call them like where they just cook ton of food and it’s all seafood and they just pour it into a giant pile on the table and then you guys go crazy and eat it all. Is that a thing? I swear I’ve seen that. Uh, let’s see. Tackle box. Put that away. That can go in there as well. And oh, that one’s perfect, too. That was a drop. We got a drop of a perfect. So, I think we’ll try to do the same thing. We’ll rate him tonight cuz he was playing Mario Kart last I checked. All right, we got a good luck buff going. Let’s poke our head outside. Um, we have not gone outside today. I don’t even think we’ve let our animals out. So, we’re 3 weeks into spring and we’ve yet to open up our animal doors. So, we should probably do that. So, that’ll be something we’ll do at the beginning of the next stream. Uh, let’s see how upset they are. Are they mad? Nah. Iron Noah looks really happy today. That’s good. Super chicken’s fine. All right, we’re okay. They’re not upset with us. Yeah. Um, yeah, we we got through the week. Uh, so our goal was to see how much we could get in the week. We had the desert festival going on. We started at 5745. We made it to 7,310 for a grand total of 1,565 levels today. Um, our daily breakdown was we got a 200, a 270, a 230, a 265, a 265, and then the last two we got 165 and 170. Um let’s see if we take this number that was an average of 223.5714. So 200 I think is very doable. 250 is a stretch. Uh but that does put us if if we’re at 7310 right now. Uh, so yeah, 7310. I don’t think we’d have to have a perfect day or perfect run, but I think two more streams is where we’re going to be at. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I can I can pop around this farm. Um, let’s go ahead and let’s see. Do I have my motorcycle in this? Yeah, we’ve got our motorcycle. All right. Um, so normally there’d be crops planted. Since we ended this stream, we don’t really have a whole lot going on here. Uh, as always, we’re going to have coffee, coffee, bananas, mangoes, stuff in there. That’s our our normal thing. Um, but so yeah, this was our farming area. Uh, we got our little shrine to to grandpa. Um, we did get that and I just left it there cuz I I was going to build out a a large crop display up here, but we just didn’t do it. And then we keep track of like special things on our signs up here since you only get one shot at those obviously. This is a perfection farm, right? So if we look uh we hit perfection on this farm. Uh let’s see. So then down here was our essentially our animals. So we will we will free them. Now we’ve got the you notice the fence posts. The fence posts are there so that if you plant grass and put the fence post in, the animals can’t eat the grass under the fence fence post. So, it creates spawning points to let all that grass kind of go. Um, this is a pretty small little farm though. Uh, which one is this one? I honestly don’t remember. Oh, this is the uh it’s the wilderness one. the one that has combat and stuff. So that is so it’s a pretty small little farm. And then if we pop out to let’s go out to the island. Out here we are set up half coffee, half ancient fruit, and then some other odds and end things that we were we were working on here. Notice that on this farm, if you look here, all of this is part of the automate mod. So, basically, I have uh nope, it’d be up here. Let’s see. All right. So, island volcanoes, it just automatically grabs coconuts for us. Um, so all that is just automatically populating. So that’s what all this pathing is. Is this pathing links this up so that um it it grabs all of the coconuts and drops them all into that chest. And then if we pop over here, we’ve got the same thing set up up here. Right. So all of these grab coconuts and put into that chest. And then up here, these two trees feed into that chest. U and then we’ve got the same thing set up out in the desert. Uh we’ve got our mystic and solar panels. And again, that all feeds along, you know, the the green feeds in, grabs all the coconuts from the trees, grabs all the resin from there, and then up here, grabs all of the seeds and moss and anything like that from this tree farm as well. And then all that again feeds into a single chest because it’s all linked together. Uh, so yeah, that’s uh that’s the setup. And again, this all works because of the automate mod, right? Because these are all linked by this. What I’ve done in here is if you look in here, I’ve said weathered flooring links the machines. So, I can basically create essentially conveyor belts so that everything in here just feeds into this chest, right? Resin, mystic syrup, mossy seeds, everything. Um, yeah. Yeah. automates a mod. Um, the guy’s following us. So, that’s a mod as well. Uh, what that is is it’s something called it’s a trinket called a spirit coal. Um, so we’ve got there’s so many of them because we have 11 of them. um because they break up the rocks for us. So that’s what those are for. So tomorrow, today I spent some time going through and I I pulled about 40 Joa themed mods. So I think there’s going to be enough there to do a Jojo run. I think I found a Jojo map. I’m going to take a look at that. Um, but there is a farm map called the legacy farm map that I reviewed and I want to use that map. So, I think we might use that map. Um, but I found all kinds of of Jojo thing, Joa houses and lotteryies and online and NPCs and and things like that. Uh, so I think we’re going to go back to our the channel the channel took a a big step during the Jojo playthrough and so I think I want to go back to some Jojo just for some nostalgia. So that’s kind of where we’re at. Uh, I think it’s going to be a Jojo run will be our next one and we’ll go to perfection on that. It’ll be modded though. Um, obviously for the Jojo mods. Uh, tomorrow I need to figure out which nonJoa mods we’re going to add um in order to to get that going. But yeah, I found, like I said, I think I found like about 40 mods that are either directly Jojo, like there’s Jojo coffee and Jojo all kinds of things. Um, or ones that were very Jojo like. So, for instance, I found one that replaces the the silo with kind of like a metal silo, right? Very corporate looking. So, that’s the thing I’m going through now is just anything that looks kind of like super corporate. Uh, we’re going to pull those together as well. So, and then we haven’t done a whole lot of decorating in the house here. Um, this is a very utilitarian house, right? You can see most of the stuff is set up to be just to create. Um, so like again, we’ve got and the automate mod allows you to do stuff like this. I don’t have to be able to get to any of this stuff. Um, but that’s all of our processing that we’ve got going on. So, all right. Well, I think we will. So, let me double check now and make sure make sure he is still alive. We don’t want to raid him again and and fail. Uh, let’s see. Looks like he’s still alive according to my YouTube. All right. So, let’s go ahead and we will I think we’ll just throw deconstruction gaming raid. Uh if he’s not part of our community, he won’t understand chicken raid. So, we’ll just do that. But we’ll we’ll raid the Oh crap. Beacon of Nick, right? Isn’t that his name of his channel? I believe. Um I think so. Uh but with that being said, yeah, we did pretty well. Uh, like I said, 1,565 levels in seven days. We’ll take that. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely.
