Should Terraria expand past the Moon Lord? I wouldn’t have said yes before 1.4, but at this point, I think an expansion past Moon Lord could do more good than bad. Every new update crams even more content into this already dense game. Having a fully fleshed out experience is great, but there is also something to be said about spreading out content. Since we’ll probably get more updates in the future, possibly with new weapons and bosses, I think an expansion past Moon Lord is almost necessary. Moonord also drops some really fun gear, and without mods, there’s really nothing to use it on, which is a shame.

  1. The singel worst flaw with terraria is that it absolutely SLAUGHTERS your will to keep going the moment the moonlord is killed, progressing through it is so fun but as soon as you beat the final boss thats just…it….

    I know it cant go on forever but it just kills my interest in that world immediately.

  2. I personally hope if they do expand it, they should do it in a way that feels like you're just starting the game fresh. Calamity is great but it doesn't feel like Terraria but rather just a combat game.
    In Calamity once you beat the Moon Lord you're already pretty overpowered to the point where the common enemy doesn't seem like a threat. Even when you unlock new ores it takes like 5 minutes to gather everything because by that point you have a powerful and fast pickaxe, probably infinite flight and enough money to buy all the spellunker potions in the world.

    When you start Terraria you struggle, a lot. The avarage trap is deadly and not to mention the enemies can be really rough as well making you build around them to gain an advantage

  3. I think having another pre-mechanical boss boss couldn’t hurt. Maybe with some new ranged weapons. Maybe more viable explosive/spread ranged weapons. I don’t know.

  4. I feel like they should make a boss rush and after completing that boss rush you get awarded with a few bars of metal which are used to make an insanely good armor set

  5. A boss rush summon
    Using one of each spawn item (and using things like the truffle worm and lihzard cells) you can craft a boss rush summon, making it permanently night for the whole fight. The next boss spawns every three-five minutes after King Slime has spawned, going in difficulty order

    Also, we have a moon god, now we need a sun god, not like EoL, but one where attacks set you a flame, many fire enemies, like moonlords successor.

  7. Maybe not a new final boss but like Potential dlc content (or just terraria 2) would be so amazing maybe with the curse lifted or whatever is keeping us here we could leave to distant lands and find new things to use or fight

I've never truly gotten into this game I've played bits of it fought the eye of kathulu and the skeleton thing sorry I csnt remember his name ended up joining my friend he gave me op gear like zenith blade and all that maybe that's what stopped me from just wanting to play thr gsme normally idk defo suld give it a proper chance

  9. New Game+ where damage and health increase, all the weapons/armor are buffed, and the pickaxe/other tool power needed for things increase

  10. I feel like instead of getting the garbage accessory from expert mode moon lord, you should get a consumable item that completely stop evil biome spread and you can turn this on and off in your inv thingy

  11. Honestly, I think we should be able to visit other starts that have fallen to their respective corruptions and encounter old god themed bosses

  12. Well there's one issue the end game items are so broken that the new bosses are going to have to be absolutely insane and the drops are going to be even more broken. Then the pattern continues. This why it's no.

I could see an easy way to do this would be to make EX versions of the existing bosses and events, super tough versions that use their Master Mode AI always and then some and extra stats to better match up with the player, and the desire for these EX bosses is getting higher quantity Fragments and Luminite as well as unique drops that can create a variety of fun and powerful gear for a true endgame player, and you'd basically face of each boss in a determined order just like the base game, starring with crafting the King Slime summon, then Eye of Cthulu, Blood Moon, Eater of Worlds, Brain of Cthulu, Goblin Army, Queen Bee, Skeletron, Deerclops, Wall of Flesh, Queen Slime, Pirate Invasion, The Destroyer, The Twins, Skeletron Prime, Dreadnautilus, Plantera, Golem, Solar Eclipse, Pumpkin Moon, Duke Fishron, Frost Moon, Lunatic Cultist, The Pillars, and finally Moon Lord

    Obviously these would be recontextualized to have different names and designs to better match an EX super boss theme, but I think it'd be cool, could also give an excuse for Calamity and Thorium and the other big content mods to throw their bosses in, an EX Exo Mechs would be absolutely nutty

  14. Maybe add a superboss. Kinda like the primordial wyrm in calamity. It shouldnt be required to beat to finish the game but as a final challenge for endgame players. Also nerf the zenith on this boss as it will be too broken and make it not a challenge.

  15. I just want endgame corruption and crimson bosses, and I want purifying the corruption/crimson to be a harder, more important task. I would also tie the purification of the hallow to beating the empress of light.

  16. id love to see something like what monster hunter world did with high rank / master rank. basically playing the game again but with harder mobs who have different movesets and drop different materials.

  17. They should add a “true moon lord” boss fight that’s more difficult, even cooler, and those weapons you got are actually now useful. The boss does not drop anything, but it is the final test. After all the gear you’ve gathered post moon lord, you do one final fight against a harder version of him to beat the game.

  18. Lets be feir. For once, relogic always said they want moonlord to be the end boss. And even if he wasnt, people who already want post moon lord boss would switch to begging for post-post.moonlord boss. It needs to end somewhere.

  19. I think there needs to be more necessary progression between golem and moon lord considering that’s where most of the content is in the game
