Terraria, But Defeating Bosses INCREASES My Ranged Weapons Attack Speed…

in this video I try beating Terraria using ranged weapons only however for each boss that I defeat the attack speed of my weapons increase defeating the same bosses multiple times will not count how many bosses will I end up taking down and what will my attack speed look like by the time I fight against Moon Lord stay tuned cuz you’re about to find out here we go let’s go get my hands on my first ranged weapon i’m just going to chop down some trees for wood build a workbench and then make the wooden bow but obviously I can’t use it because I have no ammo so let’s go search for some arrows oh there’s a chest down here any arrows no but I did get the egglet i’ll take that oh nice living witch trees come on arrows not in here okay found some gold and my first life crystal let’s pick up some of this topaz as well there we go i did find a marble cave so let’s go check that out real quick oh nice got some wooden arrows which means I can now start killing some monsters okay a dead man’s chest and hopefully over there is going to be enough topaz for a hook let’s see i have five right now and then after this yes there we go okay let’s clear out the traps first what’s it going to be oh my god well I mean this is a ranged weapon so I can use it got another light pistol and let’s see if I can make myself an anvil yes I can or the topaz and that’s just going to help me maneuver around more easily a hook this early on in the game is pretty good another chest come on dune rider boots there’s also a bath statue and an extrainator come on okay you know what i’ll take that ancient chisel oh I’m probably dead here run run run run run god these guys are so annoying i have nothing better nope nope nope get up oh god no seriously it followed me all the way up there that’s crazy let’s head back because I’m pretty sure I saw some more life crystals down there yeah I think over there is another life crystal and while I’m down here I’m going to collect as many desert fossils as possible for the fossil armor it’s a good thing that I found the extrainator too okay that is 160 health ooh and another one up there nice found the magic conch okay hopefully this is going to be enough desert fossils let’s get out of here i’ve gotten 832 let’s first store my items away there we go inventory has been cleaned up a little bit and now let’s start extracting okay that is 98 sturdy fossils and I’m pretty sure that’s more than enough so let’s make the armor set helmet plate and greaves all right 18 defense and the set bonus saves 20% of ammo it also gives me a nice bonus to range damage and critical strike chance now I’m going to smelt some ores into bars and then make the gold pickaxe and I think that’s about it i was about to make the gold bow but I figured I just go to the corruption and get myself the musket yeah so let’s just do that instead all right here’s the corruption let’s head down there we go got the quick musket and because I now have a gun in my inventory the arm stealer is allowed to move in but I just got to build some NPC houses so let’s do that there we go three should be enough I hope while I wait I’m going to go ahead into the jungle to find myself some more life crystals and accessories oh nice found another life crystal and that’s going to bring me to 200 health what do we have in here barrow claws that’s useless but I’ll equip it for the movement speed nice got the magic mirror and the suspicious looking eye honestly I think I’m ready to take on the boss as of now but I just got here so I’m just going to do a little bit more exploring hermes boots ooh cloud in a bottle couple of life crystals down here 280 health oh never mind make that 300 beautiful and another one up there you know what let’s just max out my health before I head back up i’m pretty close anyways oh my god there are so many in this one area what and a goblin arm is approaching lovely oh my god it just keeps getting better and better i just need two more after this oh and I think this is the shimmer pool oh yes it is okay just need one more and there it is but I got to get past these maneuvers oh my god that’s so many of them go go go go hit that boom all right maxed out ooh that’s plenty of sapphire so I’m going to upgrade from the topaz hook to the sapphire hook let’s pick up these life crystals for a heart lantern and what’s inside here another suspicious looking eye really another magic mirror that’s four now oh my god okay I think that’s enough exploring for now let’s head back up damn the arm stealer is not here yet and I ran out of bullets oh my god this is not going to be good um I also threw away my wooden bow okay I’m going to die here but after I die I’m going to quickly take out my gold bars and make the gold bow okay now go go go where is it boom uh gold bow okay now now I can start killing them damn this is going to take really long though i guess whenever I kill these guys I do get spiky balls which I can use so that’ll make things a little bit more easier okay finally goblin army has been defeated okay the nurse has arrived which means I’m going to have to build some more NPC houses there he is okay let’s go buy a bunch of musk balls and now I got to wait for nighttime again to take on the eye of Cthulhu i’m going to build a bed though to speed up time there we go oh and let’s not forget to build an arena okay arena completed all right let’s do this thing three two one on the left let’s start firing away if I was able to find the boomstick in the jungle earlier it would have been a lot better but the musket is still pretty good okay let’s get rid of these servants that’s a lot of them okay now I can focus on the boss oh that was bad two more shots oh it’s too fast there we go and that marks my first boss defeated which means my attack speed is now doubled so it looks like this oh I do want to check out the mini shark if I have enough it costs 36 gold i have 27 damn just a bit short i do have one more suspicious looking eye so I guess I’ll kill it for some more gold and this time it should be a lot faster yes keep it going second phase already and done okay I have enough now mini shark bots here we go yo that is crazy fast not sure which one’s going to be better though when I do fight against the ear of worlds musket or the mini shark i mean there’s only one way to find out let’s head to the corruption let’s build an arena right around here first all right that should be good enough let’s go break two more shadow orbs here we go last one and I’m going to start off with the mini shark first 180 damage per second not bad okay and now let’s switch over to the muskets same oh no oh this one does a bit more okay musket it is i feel like I’m going to be splitting this boss up a lot which isn’t going to be good so let’s take care of the smaller ones first okay so far so good almost done here 2,000 more health 500 more and done second boss down which means three times the attack speed attacks now look like this that’s for the musketss and this is for the mini shark okay why do I feel like the mini shark is going to do a lot more damage now i think I’m going to take on the eater of worlds one more time to make sure I have enough materials for the full shadow armor and nightmare pickaxe here we go run run run to the arena and let’s place back the bass statue campfire and heart lantern all right let’s let it rip oh almost i think that’s 300 damage per second yep 300 oh it’s going higher 400 oh my god okay I think 400 is where it capped out at now let’s do the musket 300 yeah I think the mini shark wins here but honestly I think it’s because I’m missing my shots for the musket and it’s much easier to land my shots with the mini shark now okay let’s get out of here time to make the full shadow armor beautiful 21 defense and that’s going to give me a lot of critical strike chance 26 for the musket 19 for the mini shark then let’s make the nightmare pickaxe and let’s see what the traveling merchant is selling ooh life form analyzer and some p ties i’ll buy a few of those okay next up is skeltron so let’s make our way to the dungeon there we go arena complete and now let’s just wait until nighttime okay it is officially night time let’s talk to the old man to summon Skeletron three two and one ow okay hands first okay I didn’t realize I used up half of my ammo already definitely going to have to buy some more later okay that’s one down and that’s two just ahead now this is actually so satisfying 600 damage per second almost there and you’re done third boss down which means plus one to my attack speed attacks look like this now not really much of a difference from three times the attack speed to four anyways now that I have access into the dungeon I’ll be looking for the cobalt shield shadow key and possibly the handgun if I can’t find the handgun then that is totally fine i prioritize the shadow key over it oh nice got a gravitation potion i’ll be looking for some sky islands later oh my god the bound goblin don’t you move i’m coming for you okay quickly quickly buy the rocket boots and workshop i’m also going to reforge the mini never mind that is so expensive yes okay cobalt shield and there’s the shadow key i’ll open one more gold chest and if the handgun isn’t there then I’ll just move on here we go oh my god it’s actually there all right let’s get out of here let’s see how this weapon looks like oh okay pretty sure this is going to be way stronger compared to the mini shark let’s go purchase some more musk balls then let’s get the goblin tinkerer up here there we go get this handgun reforged you know what i think I’ll settle with sighted that’s pretty good then I’m going to drink a gravitation potion to search for some sky islands for the shiny red balloon and lucky horseshoe and because I do have the cloud in a bottle I’ll be able to make the blue horseshoe balloon oh my god first harpy kill and I got the giant harpy feather how lucky was that looks like I’ll be making harpy wings in hard mode okay what we got in here shiny red balloon and there’s the lucky horseshoe okay let’s make the blue horseshoe balloon and then for my next boss I’ll be taking on the queen bee okay here we go let’s just fight it in this granite area oh my god this thing’s a beast kill it kill it kill it yes and that is going to be plus five to my attack speed let’s check it out okay oh right i just remembered pretty sure I got myself some rubies yes I do well I just need one let’s take out some gold bars make myself the gold crown and then I’m going to go make myself the king slime summon and that’ll be another plus one to my attack speed okay slime crown made let’s just start it up [Music] oh it’s on the right side die die die 700 damage per second insane plus six ooh the projectiles are starting to become a static image i’m now going to mine down to hell to collect some health stone in order to upgrade my handgun into the Phoenix blaster oh my god please tell me yes spike Termy’s boost let’s go okay real quick let’s just make Spectre boots lovely jubbly and back down I go all right finally made it down to hell let’s start mining some hell stone okay that is enough i’m only going to be making the molten pickaxe okay molten pickaxe made and then the phoenix blaster unpleasant how much does this cost to reforge nine you know what let’s do it again [Music] again oh quick hold up a sec okay oh but I think I can get something better come on come on please oh my ruthless okay that’s pretty good okay let’s make the obsidian shield and now it is time to take on the wall of flesh wait I almost forgot i was meant to upgrade my topaz hook to the sapphire a while ago let’s just do that now okay wall flash oh there’s the voodoo demon give me that doll all right made it to the edge let’s drop it in three two and one there we go fire away get past those hungries aim eyeball oh my god 1,500 damage per second go go go damn that didn’t even take 10 seconds come on anything good oh that is perfect rangers emblem so from 37 damage to 43 now that I’m in hard mode let’s go buy the ammo box so I don’t end up using my musk balls up too quickly and then let’s head back to the corruption to break some demon alters let’s see we’ve got cobalt myithil and titanium all right let’s also not forget to plus one to my attack speed it is now at plus 7 attacks are now looking like this very nice before I start mining the hard mode ores I’m going to head up to a sky island to farm some source of flight so that I can make the harpy wings okay got enough souls of flight oh my god what am I doing i totally forgot that I needed the myithil anvil well at least I now have the materials to make harpy wings all right let’s start mining that’s enough cobalt onto the myithil wait the bound wizard I need you buy the crystal ball and now I can make the endless musky pouch i’ll do that right after I get enough My Mithil though oh and let’s also get this gelatin crystal so that I can take down another boss for more attack speed all right that is enough Myithil now I can make harpy wings and then onto the titanium let’s also make the endless musket pouch and that is enough titanium let’s go craft the titanium armor set so from 43 damage to 51 now that I’m geared up with some pretty nice armor let’s go summon the Queen Slime here we go this should be pretty quick yeah look at that 2,000 damage per second oh where’s that okay second phase die die die and you are done plus eight now I think I’ve been holding on to the Phoenix Blaster for a bit too long so it’s time to change it up the next weapon that I’ll be obtaining is the Onyx Blaster so first let’s go buy the shotgun and real quick let’s just check it out god damn okay so now I need two dark shards and 10 souls of night there we go got enough souls of night i’m just going to get my hands on one more soul of light before I head back up there we go and now I have enough materials for the mechanical boss summons now I need the two dark shards luckily there’s a corrupt desert here oh my god nice i just got a mechanical worm oh my god finally that is one dark shard and that is two i can now craft the onyx blaster let’s get it reforged oh my god i will take that and here is what it looks like oh yes oh yes i’m all set to take on the mechanical bosses now so let’s just wait until nighttime all right let’s take on the twins first this is going to be so fast look at it 4,000 damage per second and that’s one down and there goes the other holy crap next up the destroyer here we go [Music] oh on the right hit that clumps up part oh my god I saw 12,000 damage per second okay destroyer has been defeated and lastly Skeletron Prime [Music] okay there goes all three mechanical bosses which means that’s going to be plus three to my attack speed so total plus 11 now my attacks look like this oh my god wait let’s purchase this dummy real quick okay here we go so I was dealing around 4,000 damage per second against the twins and now it’s up to 6,000 oh my god let’s craft the pickaxe and then some hollowed armor and then let’s go search for the planter bulb oh there it is wait it’s so close to this granite area okay that’s actually perfect that means I can just use this area as the arena okay this is honestly more than enough just a two-layered platform there we go let’s start it up get down oh get down okay there we go jesus second phase and finished plus 12 let’s head into the temple now to take on Golem okay made it into the boss room a little weird looking but it should be fine let’s start this thing up god damn 8,000 damage per second kill that hand that one’s gone as well head done there’s the body beautiful oh very nice got the eye of the golem and with it I’m going to be making the destroyer emblem the next boss that I’ll be taking on is going to be Duke Fishron and the reason why I want to fight that boss is for the tsunami bow there we go got one let’s head to the ocean to summon the boss there we go second phase and third phase all done can I get the tsunami no all right let’s go get another truffle worm not this time as well okay and not this time either okay got another two but before I take on Duke Fishron again I forgot to increase my attack speed from Golem and also Duke Fishron so let’s add two and now I’m at 14 times the attack speed attacks now look like this all right let’s see how fast I can take down Duke Fish Run again there we go oh yeah got the second phase a lot faster this time there we go come on tsunami no okay one more try come on oh come back please all right surely this time I will get it never mind okay this time I got three truffle worms if I don’t get the tsunami I’m going to be ripping off my Okay that’s not it oh my god where is it okay last one yes finally oh my god that took forever let’s buy a bunch of arrows now and then turn them into the endless quiver all right oh let’s go test it out dps check uh 30 32k 33 oh my Jesus compare that to only 7K wow the monsters that I’ll be taking on from here on out are going to be in for a little treat boy let’s also reforge this ah come on i can get Ooh no I know I can get Unreal on this come on maybe not it’s got No there’s no way i know for a fact you can get Unreal really is deadly the Oops is deadly the best oh no okay i swear you could have gotten unreal on this thing before well never mind then let’s head back to the dungeon now to take on the lunatic cultist here we go i’m just going to start shooting now so that I can fall back down and dead okay before I take down the celestial pillars I’m going to head down and grab myself the tabies and black belt for the master ninja gear all right and let’s not forget to add one to my attack speed we’re at plus 15 now there’s the black belt and there’s the tabby okay master ninja gear made and that’s going to replace my shield of Cthulhu now it’s time to take down the pillars oh my god that was fast okay start pillar down solar pillar has been destroyed two more to go i’ll be taking down the vortex pillar next so that I can check out the vortex beater and the fantasm okay down goes the vortex pillar let’s make the vortex beater oh nice deadly and then the fantasm all right first up fantasm okay apparently this one doesn’t work with the mod but what about the vortex beater this one too wow okay i was not expecting them to not work well looks like I’ll be using the tsunami and there goes the last pillar time for Moon Lord here we go middle eye down hands down that one as well and just the core dead oh my god just like that moon Lord has been defeated all right that is going to be it guys hope you all
