the SAFEST WAY to traverse the nether! #minecraft

What is the safest way to navigate the Nether? The other day, I made the same video, but for the end. What I didn’t realize is so many people were struggling actually getting to the end. So, here’s how you can prep for the Nether for the first time with the lowest possible risk. If you’re really worried about it, wear some diamond armor. If not, at least wear some iron armor. Although, switch your helmet for a gold helmet just so you don’t get attacked by piglins. You’re probably also going to want to carry a shield in your off hand just to be safe. You should also bring some gold with you to battle with the piglins. You’ll probably only need a stack maximum. That’s just going to make everything way easier. Obviously, bring your normal things like food, a pickaxe, a sword. But you are ready to go into the Nether. As soon as you get in, the first thing you’re going to want to do is note down your coordinates cuz it’s very easy to get lost in the Nether. Before anything, just a quick safety tip. As I’m sure you know, the Nether is very dangerous. So, watch your step while you’re in the Nether because there can be lots of dangerous falls out of nowhere. Like, you can’t even see that here. If I you’d also try and avoid the basalt deltas if you can, just because they have a lot of the same issues, but one by one holes. The first thing you want to do is trade your gold with some piglets. What we’re wanting them to drop is hopefully a few fire resistance potions. Once we have some of them, we can head towards the fortress. Find a spawner and then splash yourself with fire resistance. Now, these guys are going to do virtually no damage. They can still punch you, though, so watch out for that. But the fire does no damage. The only worry while doing this is having wither skeletons chase you. But don’t worry, this is easily solved because they’re over two blocks tall. If you place blocks in the way, they can’t get through. So, just do that in all directions and you’ll be safe. Then, just kill the blazes. Six blaze rods is the minimum you should go for, but just use how many fire resistance potions you get. My fire res is about to run out and I have 20 seconds left. So that’s perfect. All you’ve got to do now is safely get out and run back to your original portal. Now you have enough blaze rods for all of the eyes of Ender and you’ve successfully traversed the Nether in the safest way possible. See, the Nether’s not that scary, is

  1. I also think there's a few more things you should do before going, added to what he said
Maybe bring haybales, since I think they're the easiest replacement for water buckets, unless you have slime blocks
Also, I like to bring an extra 10 obsidian in case you need to make a new portal last minute if you're stuck
And I think you should definitely bring a milk bucket for the wither skeletons
Lastly, make sure you have inventory space for certain things you can find in the nether like nether wart and soul sand so you don't have to come back later to farm them

  2. For everyone trying to find a fortress, I got you. Fortresses tend to load going north to south within a 600-block radius.

    Go to Z coordinate(s) 230 or -230
Go in between Y coordinates 50-80
    Go to X coordinate(s) 600 or -600 on either the Z coordinate(s) 230 or -230

You are guaranteed to find a nether fortress this way

  3. Another good tip for farming blaze rods if you find a blaze spawner that is near a large wall you can hollow out part of that wall and make a safe room right next to the blaze spawner so you can get out of combat to heal yourself easier without having to fight the blazes at the same time

And for those that are having trouble finding fortresses the easiest way to go about it is to create a copy of your world put it into creative and use the /locate command

  4. if you are struggling with finding a fortress i recommend duplicating your world then turning on cheats and locating a fortress in that world or if you have an app that can locate structures use it

  5. I had to end my hardcore world because when I went to the nether I couldn't find a fortress later I searched the seed and the closest one was 3000 blocks away 😔
