Minecraft’s abandoned 2011 game has been found.

This is a website that archives old builds or developmental builds of Minecraft or whatever’s been discovered is normally listed or uploaded onto this website. What I’m going to talk about today is not an old build of Minecraft that’s been lost, although you can find them over here. I’m going to talk about a game called Brickcraft, which is a game developed by Moyang and Lego in 2011 and was promptly cancelled about a year later. Cenamed Project Rexwondo. Massive reference to Napoleon Dynamite. This is called Brickcraft. I don’t want you guys to get confused with Alex Testria’s Brickcraft creation. They’re not related in the slightest, even though they’re both related to Lego. This is what it looks like. Its goal was basically to mimic Minecraft, but instead of building with blocks, you build with Lego. And it was a fun idea at the time, but I guess they never really decided to go ahead with it. So, this game has been rediscovered and re-uploaded onto Omni Archive, which I will now play for you guys. It is very buggy. There’s a chance that this has just been built by some person and they’ve just uploaded it as a masquerade of the actual product. But I do trust Omni Archive and the Minecraft Wiki has acknowledged its existence. So what bricks do we have here? We have the 1x one, the 1x 2, the 2x two, the 2×4, and the 2×1 with a slope. So we just scroll to select on the hot bar and then we place it down with a left click like this. And that places the bricks down. And that’s the general premise of this. So we can tile them above like this. We can do that and then we can do that. So, we’ve got a very basic Lego structure. This game also features little commands. You can press E. You can also press Q that cycles through the pallet which is available in the resources file. You can press I to import Lego digital files or LXFML files. There are actually a couple that are available here. I was looking for it. So, I don’t I don’t really know what this is. The bricks you place down do end up being solid, so you can’t pass through them. I’m not sure what this is meant to say. We can import the other one. Oh, it’s just a tree. Okay, I see what’s happened. All right, so there’s a tree there. Now I can delete it by pressing Z, right? Yeah. And then R places it back. I can continue to press R to copy paste that file in. And now I seem to have created a forest. I wonder just how intuitive this thing is. I’m going to try to build something. Where’s my black brick? Right here. So the cycle between breaking and placing because right clicking just rotates. That’s not a good not example. So this one, you can see right clicking just rotates the brick. I can press tab and that will toggle. So that means I can start breaking the ground underneath me like this. Pressing shift makes you run a lot faster. You can also jump by pressing space. I I really don’t think I’m using that a lot though. Going to try to build something here. Uh how quickly can I get used to these keys. All right, legs. I I should use these. I have so many bricks. I don’t know how long it’s going to take for me to run out of them. All right, let’s jump on top of this. There we go. How’s that look so far? All right, he needs a butt. He’s missing a butt. Let’s give him a big dumper. Definitely missing a lot of brick tiles here. I’d really like an 8x one here. It’s fine, though. Okay, let’s build them up. We need a pillar up here. Up, up, up, up like this. He needs to be thicker. Oh, I can’t place floating bricks. I see. I guess that makes a lot of sense. Looking good. He needs a button like right here. All right, I’m going to switch the color to what’s the whitest looking brick I’ve got there. This. All right. I really don’t know how long it takes for me to get back to the black. Is that the same color? Yeah, I think it is. Can’t fly. This is a problem. I have to do this to get up. All right. I want one more layer on top here. I need a collar. All right. So, now the collar. Yeah, that works. I need his arms. Break that. Place that inside. All right. He needs a few more. That’s good. It’s taking shape. Place that here. Place that here. I need his skin tone again. that that it’s not. I need to build his face. His face is huge. All right, we have the base of his head. Um, god dang it. I’m building a head. Not the first time I’ve experienced this 10hour piece of work. How big is it, man? Why his head got to be so big? I need to keep staircasing up cuz there’s no flying. Maybe one more layer there. His big juicy head. All right. Facial features. Mouth. I need to give him eyeballs. How’s that? Oh, I got to make his face taller. There. And there. Oh. All right. Time to close it all up. I’m sure I’m not exactly following proper Lego building etiquette. We have to cap off his head. All right. I’m I’m pretty sure I left a massive gaping hole in his head. Yeah, that bothers me a little bit. But this has been so hard to deal with, which solidifies my belief that this is a legit thing. So, we haven’t used the slope. And the dude doesn’t have any hair. So, I’m going to give him butter’s hair, which is the right color. I think this is Oh, I can’t see it. What about that? He’s got a banana peel on his head. All right, I think I’m done. Let me get rid of the uh good old staircase, my Lego scaffolding, and done. Hey, it’s I am proud of my efforts here. This was an effort and a half to build. There’s a side. There’s the back. The head does come back out a little bit. I mean, it’s a big head. And there he is sitting down. He looks like a one-year-old, but that is fine.

  2. In have an old computer. On that computer is minecraft 1.2.5 i have personally modded. Its poorly optimised, but stable. I searched for some of these mods and theyre gone from the internet. Completely. One of a kind game and IT IS AMAZING. Way better than current minecraft, and not because some nostalgia, but because these mods give so much awesome content, that what we have now pales in comparison

What im trying to say is, there are real treasure hidden on forgotten computers out there, we just need to find them

  3. Those deepslate sounds make me highly suspicious of this thing's legitimacy…sure, they could have been unused sound effects that got brought back years later when deepslate was added, but it's still kinda sus.

  4. I think a game like this needs some sorth of Basic physics, as you kinda Lose a bit of lego's charm when you don't need to Lock the bricks togheter to make them stronger

  5. I think this is probably a fake build, given the fact that placing the bricks makes the deepslate noise, and that block wasn't added until 2021.

Edit: maybe I'm wrong and it's not the exact same noise, but it sure sounds like it to me.
