MINECRAFT JUST ADDED SHELF BLOCKS, COPPER STATUES, + NEW DYES TO THE NEW UPDATE!!

All right, in the classic clown moment of all time, Mojang. They done diddly messed up those clown emojis. Throw them down in the comments in honor of a Mojang today. Well, yes, the smooth jazz because Good evening, my friends. The video is so late today because Mojang, well, I have a sneaking suspicion. The preview did not roll out until 3:30, which is obnoxious for biggest game in the world. But also, I got a launcher update today, too. I wonder if Mojang fumbled their second big release for the fall update. All to just update the launcher and to make this top bar oh so smooth and dark and clean. But that’s just our first new update of the day. Today’s a banger. We’ve got a copper statues. We’ve got brand new dies. And oh my god, we’ve got shells. Smash that like button. Like absolutely annihilated for me. And real quick, double check. Make sure you’re subscribed. Only about 35% of you are. That’s a tragedy. Now, quite intriguingly, inside of this week’s preview, the first preview for a brand new error 1.21.1, the experimental toggle for this update has been completely removed. That’s going to mean that our beautiful friend, the copper golem, and all of these beautiful other new features we’ll be taking a look at today are just straight up in the game now. But here’s the weird thing about all of this, because as it’s noted in the change log, experimental features. We’ve removed the experimental toggle for game drop features so you could enjoy them in normal worlds without switches. So, the way this kind of works makes me wonder if, for example, a world like our survival world that we’ve been streaming on every single week here. Well, though the drops might still be experimental features or whatever, you don’t need an experimental toggle going forward for them any longer. By the way, I’m going to be live from this world tomorrow, 3 p.m. Eastern time, building an iron farm. Oh my god, it’s going to be crazy. Make sure you’re there. Hi. But speaking of Minecraft Yavi Edition, the developers legend has it that they’re on vacation at the Windows 10 update opening screen. Unfortunately, Java snapshots are still, you know, here. Hopefully next week, guys. I don’t know. Now, jumping in game here. The copper golem. Oh my god, this thing is adorable. So, first things first, big update with the copper golem this week. Look at its head. You see how it’s locking onto me and like rotating around smoother than ever before. Hey, dude. Look at me. Well, the copper golem is now going to be able to turn its head way more freely than before instead of its like just whole body and able to be vibe checking and watching you. Oh, sorry about that. That’s my bro. While the copper golem is just goleming all over your world. Quite a beautiful change this week around. Copper golem. Copper chest. They love these things. If I threw something inside of that chest and then I placed down a trapped chest, so no normal chest involved or anything like that. And this item is a nonstackable item. Well, more consistently than ever before. Oh my god, you’re a genius. More consistently than ever before. Even if these different items have unique names or durability loss of the copper golem is going to be able to figure it out and it knows how to use the trap chest. Dude, you’re so smart and cool. Now, the copper golem. I’ve been hard at work testing this thing. Stay tuned for a video soon. But in all of my tests, I’ve learned. And yeah, sure, we practically learned this on day one. But the copper golem, it oxidizes. Hey, now look, I I’m a tough guy. I’m strong. Nothing gives to me. I Or at least I try. But the copper golem. Not that that long ago in a video. I talked about the copper golem potentially slowly oxidizing and turning into a statue. The haters, the doubters, the non-believers alike. They said I was lying. They said it wouldn’t ever happen. But look, we can’t all be right all the time. George Harrison, my sweet lord. Oh my god, the copper golem. When this thing fully oxidizes in your world now, and this isn’t going to go for copper golems that are just straight up fully oxidized from the beginning, but when a copper golem oxidizes in your world now all the way, it’s going to turn to something brand new. Now, unfortunately here, the random tick speed game rule, even if I bump this up to the moon, that doesn’t affect the copper golem. So this will Oh my my aha. The random tick speed game roll may not affect the copper golem, but oxidization does now. So take a look at this thing. I can create the copper golem in my world. Fully oxidized and it will move around for a little bit of time. But in time, the oxidization is bound to catch up with this guy and locate it. It’s turned into a full statue. You too, my friend. Now what is a statue? I can interact with it in Oh my god. I have not seen this yet in game. Any of these poses. I’m interacting with it almost like an armor stand here on Bedrock Edition and you can pose the copper. Oh my god, it’s adorable. You can pose the copper golem when it fully oxidizes. Oh, but what’s that? My extra genius intuitive friend. Subscribe for a long time. I appreciate you. You may be wondering what happens when I take an axe and smack it on the statue. Oh, yes. You can actually strip the layers of oxidization off the statue. And when you remove all of it, it does not necessarily come back to life. You can still have a statue that is fully waxed, polished, unoxidized, whatever, you can have one of these things in your world. They all have the same poses for the different levels. Oh, but oh my god, it’s so good. And now watch this. I walk up to it and break it. No, I break it with my hand. And slowly but surely, the statue, it’s not that hard. It’ll break and right now currently drop as an actual item that you can pick up and place down inside of your world wherever you want. Oh my god. And this is just the tip of the iceberg for this update today. This preview, guys, is honestly maybe bigger than the copper golem one. Look at this build right here. The devs have built the black and white checkered floor. The golems has statues all over our world. This is so check this out. inside of the creative inventory. If I look up the word copper now, it’s actually getting absolutely absurd. Here we now have different statues, eight of them total for the waxed and unwaxed versions. Oh my god, these statues are literally everything. I’m so obsessed with these things. Like, I’m going to decorate my entire world with these things. And the different statue poses that we could have, too. We could have like an army of statues running around our world or even just on the top of the build. Random statues sitting around. Oh, Mojang, I think I’m in love. Now, according to the change log for this update as well, you are able to craft the copper statue, but I I just can’t figure it out. Admittedly, I haven’t had as much time today to test the preview because it came out so late. So, I’m sorry about that. And just stay tuned. I’ll be talking more about this stuff very, very soon. It’s amazing. But let’s move on to something not so amazing. The settings, it’s still so weird and spaced out. I don’t know what they’re doing here, but instead of audio, this one has been stretched a little bit. This thing fills the screen so much better than it did before. However, these experimental sound things like the example things so I can see what I’m doing. Uh, they’re still completely missing. It’s saying, ooie. But check this out because redstone torches. Uhhuh. and shelves. Well, redstone torches, huh? Mojang, what are we doing here? Because just earlier this week, I made a video talking about the redstone torch and how it’s weird that Mojang hasn’t updated it. We have a blog article showing off that it’s updated. And no, it’s not updated. No new torch. But just you take a seat. Maybe in this oddly suspicious looking chair for a second because shelves. Oh, you you already looked over my shoulder. Oh, come on. And I was going to show you the shelves. Oh my god. This is officially the Minecraft inventory storage room update of all time. You take a look at it. It’s no lie. It’s in the vanilla game. Look at these brand new items. We’ve got a new shelf for every single wood type in the game here. That means an acacia one. That means an oak one. Whatever. Now, these shelves, what in the world do they do? Well, if I walk up to one with an item, I could actually use the item on the shelf. And the items will fill it up at that too. The shelf here, it can hold up to a stack of items. That’s one stack of oak logs. Maybe in your like local server store, you’re selling quartz blocks. It goes in the shelf. Even more cool, the shelf is kind of like the chisel bookshelf wherein you can look at each individual slot in any order and place things into the different slots. If I interact with a shelf with multiple of the same item, I can also put those same items in different slots as well. Now, how in the world does one get your hands on it? Oh my god, it’s a little bit painful and expensive. Inside of the crafting table, three of those and three of those. And oh, there’s the shelf recipe right there. I That’s a lot of shelves, but check that out. Is this maybe slightly illegal? You can place this down on anything, including nothing. And uh guys, is this the vertical half slab update? The vertical half slab update of all time. It’s here. Hm. A solo crafting recipe with stripped logs. Obviously with a hanging sign. We’ve seen it here before. It’s fine, but maybe it’s almost like we need a different way to maybe be able to strip the logs. Cough, cough, termites, please. Oh, now these shelves, they come in every single wood type in the game. Did I say that already? And when you craft it, you will get six with every single shelf type as well. You could break these with your hand if you want to. I’ll kind of break a little bit slow. So instead, you break it with an axe, just like a wood thing to break it a little bit faster. Wo! Hold on a minute. Oh, these things are going to go so hard for building. Look at this thing. I can now make a proper wooden pillar with like a ton of shelves if I wanted to. Just stack them up all the way to the ceiling and it’s like roaming and beautiful. Or or or like an otter. I could just do a simple little cuff at the bottom of something with the shelves. Make it match the wood type. Mojang, what are you doing? You’re cooking way too much. Oh man. Now, these shelves, if you look real close here, too, they all have different aesthetics. For example, the spruce one, it’s got these little iron bolts. Meanwhile, the acacia one, it’s like long. So, this is kind of inspiration from the trap door here. Little flowers on the cherry blossom one. I love it. They’re so good looking. But guys, guys, I think there is only one correct best looking shelf. Can you call it down below? Oo. But you thought that was cool. Well, the greatness continues here because if I have a shelf and I place it down next to other ones and power it. Oh, do you see that? I literally just combined the shelves. All right. So, admittedly here, I’m still learning about these shelves a little bit and exactly how they actually properly work. But let’s say maybe I had three shelves. Then for the sake of experiment, let’s also say I had redstone running into every single block that has a shelf on it. So I can power the shelves. Then then last but not least, let’s go ahead and power the shelves. And now every shelf is a gigantic big open face here. And I can put things including an entire hot bar. Just dump it on the shelf like that. I interact again. It all comes right back. Now this is going to happen for as many spaces as there are on your shelf. So, that’s going to be 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 the entire hot bar. You can store it and swap it. Hot bar swapping literally instantaneously. Meanwhile, over here, if I go ahead and power this, I’m only sending power to the middle one here. So, I interact and the first three items are being dumped from my hot bar onto the shelf. If I were to go ahead and expand this situation to two separate shelves and interact, now it’s going to be all these six different spots from the hot bar dumped cleanly onto the shelf. Now, here’s the cool thing. Let’s say I had a bunch of things there. And then I’ll pull this off in survival for you here. Let’s say I had a hot bar full of other things. They’re like almost full here. If I interact, the items are cleanly straight up swapped. So, I can go ahead and dump all of those right there. Pick these back up. Maybe build a little bit. Then need to change things out. No big deal. You can literally swap between like tools and something really, really quick. This is a functional, insanely useful redstone item. If you turn off the power here and I interact with something on the shelf while holding something else, those things are simply swapped. This is what makes me think of a server. Maybe on my SMP I’m selling shelves for wooden swords. Use the wooden sword, swap the shelf, and go ahead and head out of the store. Guys, I literally can’t contain my excitement at all. Well, you could probably hear it in the video. I’m sorry if the video is loud. I’m excited, man. I’m not sorry, man. I take it back. Now, Minecraft Preview 1.21 110 to20 is a gigantinormous preview. One of the biggest ones that we’ve had in a long time. If there’s something specific you’d like me to check out a little bit more in a part two, tell me about it down below. But the final thing we need to take a look at is Oh my god. You might have caught a glimpse of it earlier on, but would you take a look at that? Every single die in the entire game, they’ve all been recolored. They’re brand new. Just like the banner update that happened a while ago. Now, this was done for accessibility reasons. If you have difficulty distinguishing the colors, maybe between red and green or something, well, now you have completely different icons going on, so it’s never going to be an issue. Oh my god, these are so good looking. And this one looks like a pile of slime. Like, like if you get invited to the waterless dinner party sometime, I host big cookouts and stuff. You will get served lime dye that’s jello- and like a plate of a steak or something. That’s what I see immediately. I really like these different little plate icons down below these things. They kind of like totally make it. Besties. Oh my god, this stuff is absolutely insane. Smash like, subscribe, and now I’m going to try and edit this video to get it out to you before 9:00 p.m. I’ll see you then. Goodbye, everyone. [Music]

    please don't ban me.

  2. Statues really? I mean talk about inventory clutter and pointless items. How about bronze tools or something. It’s a mining game after all. Or the iceologer, something cool. I get it’s a copper update. But we already had a copper update. I just think statues are dumb and they could add so many cooler things.

  3. Copper Golem Statue and shelves? Nice, I hope they add Tuff Golem next to go along with the Shelves and such, also statue version Tuff Golem and a statue version of the Iron Golem too, also be a way to reactivate them in a way for us builder or those who like to create a bit of adventure or whatever, so yeah

  4. They’ve added statues, that’s the only reason I’m keep the golems, I’m in love, copper chest and golems that can become statues, I’m done, I’m happy, this is my favorite drop, and bonus is more armor and tools that I like purely because more stuffs even if not necessary useful, tho I’d get them before iron to save iron until later

  5. Shelves are SO GOOD FOR BUILDING YOU HAVE NO IDEA like genuinely this may be the best thing for detailing exterior and interior wise since the trapdoor. You can do SO MUCH WITH THEM and even the backs have amazing textures for detailing. You can also actually use them for real shelves and they look great for that too. And functionality wise they are incredible as well, you can basically preset hot bars in survival now. Such a huge quality of life change. The copper golem statues are also really good for building.

  6. As a builder, I can't imagine those medieval Doric and Corinthian pillars getting spicy with the texture and looks of the shelves, especially when making small scale builds with pillars. Also, as a survival leisure player who takes the game slowly and adds meaning and lore to the worlds, I can now make a store that displays instead of item framed chests.
