I FOUND OUT HOW STEVE GOT ELYTRA…
In my last short, I said that it’s impossible for Steve in the Minecraft movie to have an elytra because he has to have beaten the Ender Dragon. But I just found a way he could have got an elytra without ever stepping foot on the end island. Now, it is possible he could have defeated the dragon, and the movie just never touched on that. But that’s more boring than your mom’s Instagram page. So, for the sake of the short, we’re just going to say he didn’t beat the Ender Dragon. And anyone who says otherwise is a plonker. Now, it is impossible to get an elytra without going to the end, as end ships are the only place where they spawn, but who said we had to get to an end ship the normal way. And the reason is because Steve is playing on 1.17. Just hear me out. In 1.17, there’s a bug where if you fall through an end portal, at the same time a piston pushed you, instead of being teleported to the main end island, you’ll be teleported to where the piston would have pushed you, but in the end, spawning you in the middle of nowhere. And if you combine this with a slow falling potion and a well-timed ender pearl, you can claim an elytra without ever seeing the dragon. Yeah, but how does he get it to the overworld? Oh

In the Minecraft movie, they are able to make anything with the crafting table. Maybe Steve wanted to fly so he made the elytra?

My guess is that he crafted it. You can’t craft it in vanilla Minecraft, but considering they craft a double water bucket and a food shooter, I think it’s plausible.

Steve Probably made an Elytra using left over Iron even tho there is no crafting recipe for the Elytra, but still its Movie Logic. (It might be slower than the Elytra since its made out of Iron and not Feathers)
He literally mentioned that he beat the ender dragon during the last song (I can't remember the name)
