Minecraft has added shelves. We’ve been wanting this update for years and they’re finally here. Firstly, here’s everything else new coming in this update. They added these super new hue copper golem statues. Also, by right- clicking them, you can change all of their poses. Dude, they’re so cute. These are going to be amazing decoration blocks for houses. Eventually, these guys are going to fully oxidize, and after that, they’re going to turn into this statue. If you take an axe, you can restore the states. And if it’s in this state and you right click it again, it’s going to turn back into a copper golem. Next, they gave all of the dyes new textures. And now, most importantly, onto the shelves. You can craft them out of any of the wood types using any form of shrimp logs like this. You’ll get six shelves. Each one has three slots and can store up to a stack of an item. Now, these can all link. If I power them all with redstone, it’s going to become one big gap. If I right click on it, then it’s going to put everything in my inventory into these. And likewise, if I right click it again, it’s going to take it all out. See, I’ve been wanting shelves for ages to do things like storing all of my music discs in a nice way, which we can now do. An interesting use for this is preserving your hot bars. Just put everything in the right slots. Power it with red stone and then just take it back out. Just like that, your hot bar is pre-made. Vice versa, too. If you’re doing something like building and need to put these away in a safe place, just pop them in shelves. The unfortunate thing, though, are their limitations. Something I really wish was possible was this. If we could have hoppers that go into the back of it. Let’s say you were building with a lot of stone. Every time you run out of stone, you can just flick this leather and take it all out and get building again. Imagine this as well with copper golems and copper chests and then moving items from this chest into where you need them. Then every time you run out and take these, the copper golems are going to eventually fill them into all of these chests. That would be so useful. However, you’re not going to catch me complaining. This is one of the coolest updates I think Minecraft’s ever done. They just somehow keep cooking,
