NEW COPPER GOLEM FEATURES AND SHELVES! #minecraft #mcpe #minecraftupdate
Mojang just released another big update for the copper golem. Now they can turn back into a statue like how they were originally shown during the mob vote so many years ago. So these guys can actually be posed when they’re in the statue form and read with a comparator to give you a signal strength, allowing for some secret entrances and all kinds of other stuff. Not only that, they added a new block to the game, the shelf. This can display items kind of like an item frame, but you can have up to three items displayed and you can grab items out of the shelf very easily, like a chiseled bookshelf. Now, these are actually a redstone component. So, if you power these, then you can click on the shelf and get all three items to put onto your hot bar at once. It’s kind of like a hot bar swapper. So, if you tie three of these shelves together, you can swap out your entire hot bar at one time, which is really fun. They also changed all the icons of the dyes in this update to make them more easy to identify and for accessibility reasons. The new dye textures actually make me hopeful that enchantment book textures are next.

When did they add this? I am here in 2025 and I am still waiting for the copper column update. The only update that happened. Is he happy death and I’m on mobile

I love the dyes, but I don’t think they need that little bowl underneath them. None of the dust items have anything underneath them.

Mojang has been crushing it with the quality of life and decor updates. But i feel like we're long over due for a late game content update. We have all these cool weapons and items to use but no late game monsters to fight besides the wither. A deep dark dimension full of strong enemies and new bosses would be outstanding content. Or if they dont want another dimension in the game just put more end game content in the end

Oh…I have used the dyes as decoration everywhere such as the green dye to represent lettuce in a burger. Now they are going to look stupid and I will have to change everything…sigh.

The Minecraft i love is dead, may aswell use mods at this point. Its not the same game.
The shelves have so many uses i can think of, PVP Hotbar swapping for new kits, vertical slabs for building (almost) and its basically a new item frame
wow.. this hot bar swapping is great. Now you can swap your entire inventory out in a click: the future is now
It would be nice if they gave armour stands a similar redstone function. Active with a redstone pulse to swap out your entire armour, or just the bits of it that are in the stand.
So, if just boots are on the stand, press a button, and just your boots get swapped.
If the armour stands is completely empty and you press a button, your entire load out gets moved to the armour stand.
traps are more harder to escape
why tf did Mojang after years of disappointing updates FINALLY decide to lock tf in, i aint complaining but i'd like to know why
