I Survived 100 Days as a CASTAWAY in Minecraft Hardcore!

I’m stranded in the middle of the ocean. And for the next 100 days, I’ll be exploring deserted islands, abandoned structures, and even giant pirate ships, all to gather loot so I can become strong enough to head deeper into the ocean and uncover its secrets. With limited food and resources, I’ll be in constant danger. Will I survive the shark attacks and the pirate villagers ambushes? Can I face the ocean’s horrors and uncover its secrets? Let’s find out. Our journey begins on day one. A terrifying tornado was tearing up the ocean, ripping me from a boat that I was looting. The storm swept me up and spat me out. Once the weather had settled, I was left with nothing but this single raft. Amongst the debris from the storm were barrels floating in the ocean. I’m guessing if we break these, we get our hands on some loot. Yo, check it out. We got a crossbow, a pickaxe, and a sapling. Amazing. Well, it seems like the best move right now is to just go ahead and loot a bunch of these barrels. All right, let’s see. We have a stone pickaxe, a stone shovel, and a crossbow. Everything else is pretty random and not useful. At least we can use some of this wood to make ourselves a crafting table. Wait, what? Why can I not craft a crafting table? Oh, you’re kidding me. What is this? I have to make a stone hammer, an axe, and a flint knife. Combine it with wood, and then we can make a crafting table. Could my life get any harder right now? I guess we just stick to breaking barrels and getting loot. Wa! Check it out. There’s a raft in the distance. Let’s float past all of this debris. Hang on a minute. Is that a pirate ship? Yeah, we got to be careful. There’s pillagers on that ship. And I’m assuming that’s splashing of water. Yes. Is villager pirates. All right, let’s be very, very careful here. Come on. Please be good loot inside the chest. No, just wheat and hay bales. Although, I’ll take food. I mean, considering we’re in the middle of the ocean, we need every piece of material we can get. We got melons. But no crafting table. You kidding me right now? I also need to keep an eye on my thirst bar. If I dehydrate, I’ll lose my life. Oh no. The villager pirates have spotted me. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Go, go, go. They’re shooting at me. Oh no, he’s chasing me. This is not good, bro. It’s literally day one. I’m being chased by pirates. No way. Leave me alone. Ow. Okay, I have zero arrows. I might have to just fight him with Wait, can I break his boat? Wait, break his bow. Break his boat. No. Yeah, let’s try and break his boat. Okay, I cannot do that. And now I need to swim away. Oh my goodness. Okay, we’re going to have to use the water to slow the arrows down so he can’t attack me. Yo, is that a shark? All right, pirates sharks. This is not good. Breathe. Oh, breathe. Go down. Breathe. Go down. Okay, I’m on one heart. I’m on Oh, I’m going to have to swim down. Oh, wait. No, no, no, no. I’m about to die. I can breathe. Wait a minute. Is he gone? I think he might be gone. Okay, he fled back to the ship, I guess. Now, my biggest concern is staying away from that hammerhead shark is trying to get back to my raft. It’s my only way of transport right now. Now, because my thirst is quenched, I don’t lose any hunger, which I guess is a good thing. But when you’re on one heart, that is not good. So, let’s see if we can try and find maybe a golden apple or something. Or is there any chance I can get a golden apple? Wait a minute. I can. Yes. Wait. Okay, let’s eat this and let’s get our heart back in the game. I’m assuming a lot of the boats around here are indeed pirates. Hopefully, we can find a villager boat out here. So, there’s friendlies. For now, all I have left are barrels filled with nonsense. Is that an eye of ender? I know it’s very early, but you know what? I’m not going to pass that up. Wait a minute. Is that a great white shark? No, I don’t think it is. I think that’s a baby shark. Oh, I’m going to drown. Come on, coffee. You’re better than this. You can’t breathe under water. How do I keep forgetting this? I guess for now we head as far away from that pirate boat as possible. At least we’ll always have a chance at getting loot. It’s just not the best. I spent the rest of the day surfing the ocean surface. I was grabbing as many barrels as I could. And amongst all of the pointless loot, I managed to get myself a fishing rod, which will make it a little easier at retrieving the barrels. Man, those pillager pirates are no joke. We’re going to need some better gear for sure to take these on. So, let’s keep on exploring the ocean in hopes to find some better gear. I have a feeling I’m going to get bored of breaking barrels very quickly. If we can find a little deserted island or something, that would be perfect. But at the moment, all I see are pirates. Wo! There’s so many barrels. Wait, what is happening? Okay, looks like we’ve got a storm. This is not good. Is that an island? I think it might be, but I can’t see over the waves. Oh no. And because of the storm, the waves are way harsher. This is horrifying, bro. If I could just make it to the island. The storm is sweeping up the barrels. Okay, looks like we’ve made it. I can’t see a thing, bro. Is that a creeper? He’s stuck in the trap doors. Idiot. Damn, that hurricane is crazy, bro. I guess we just wait until the storm passes. I think I’m safe here. This tornado was relentless and swept up the seas all day. Luckily, the winds aren’t strong enough to sweep me up this time. It’s ripping the leaves from the trees. And check it out. We have villagers nearby, but I’m pretty sure that’s an enemy pirate boat. It looks like the storm is heading that way. So, this should pass in a moment. Okay, the rain has stopped. And I think the wind is stopping, too. Okay, looks like the storm has passed. And look, we have a crafting table. Yay. All right, let’s just make a sword real quickly. And let’s go ahead and clear the creepers off this island. We got one creeper here. Oh my goodness. Wa! He exploded into pieces. Wait a minute. Is that a diamond? I’m pretty sure that’s a diamond ore. I guess the storm was sweeping up the broken barrels. Amazing. I mean, it is only one diamond, so I’m not going to get too excited. And I don’t have an iron pickaxe to mine it. So, let’s just store it in this chest for now. Our health also regens by campfires. Perks of being a castaway, I guess. Let’s go ahead and grab ourselves a bunch of stone. And of course, we’ll grab this coal. And let’s go ahead and craft ourselves a furnace. We also have a bunch of saplings from the barrels. So, let’s go ahead and plant these. This definitely is a safe location. Oh my goodness. He says, “Ah, no, bro. I need to craft some torches. Otherwise, I’m just going to have creepers exploding non-stop. I can’t be dealing with these mobs, bro. Put one here. We’ll put one here. Oh my goodness, there’s loads of you.” Ah, wait a minute. I can hit them with my torch and they set fire. That’s so funny. Get in the water. There we go. Hm. The skeleton head makes me uneasy. What was on this island before I got here? torch his place. That should stop mobs from spawning. Whoa, look at the size of that. Is he friendly? Where’s my raft? Let’s go check this dude out. Wait, where did he go? Did he despawn? Oh, wo. What is that? Oh, it’s electrocuting me. What? Go, go, go, go, go. All right, note to south. Stay away from the giant electric weird eel things. That is scary, man. Wo, check it out. Looks like we have a pillager tower under the water. And that looks like maybe a shipwreck. Looks like we have a lot to explore in this area. I think it’s time we do a little bit of resource gathering. Let’s go ahead and grab ourselves a little more stone so we can craft ourselves an axe. And let’s get to chopping these trees down. I’ll use the wood from these trees to start working on a house. Building a functional base out in the ocean is probably the most important thing when you’re a castaway. But I also have some other goals for this 100 days journey. I want to create my very own ship with storage that I can use to explore these vast oceans. I also want to create a submarine so I can head into the structures located deep underwater. And I also want to get a bunch of cool tools and armor to take on the ocean’s bosses. But of course, all these things are going to take time. So, for now, let’s just focus on building our base. Hey, check it out. It’s a seagull. So cute. All right, we got a stack of jungle wood. That should be enough to build a house. Wait a minute. Oh no, the villagers are being attacked. Wait a minute. I’m going to need them. Quick, quick, quick, quick, quick. Go, go, go, go, go. I don’t have a shield, so I can’t mess this up. Just have to use my axe. Oh my god. Oh my god. Okay, we killed one. Just have to go for the kill. Okay, we did it. We did it. We did it. We did. Holy smokes. You good, guys? You safe? The villagers thanked me for saving them. They said I had complete access to their boat. Well, before we build the house, we may as well go ahead and loot. Is that an iron pickaxe? Yes. Got some stone, some potatoes. Oh, okay. Lots of food, an iron sword. Perfect. And a shield. Let’s go. All right. Now I feel a lot safer. We also have some arrows. Wait a minute. Oh my goodness, bro. That’s a vindicator, bro. I only have one heart. This is such a joke. Let’s regenerate our hearts with the campfire. And then we’ll head back down here to take out the rest of these guys. Looks like there might be another storm brewing, too. Great. All right, we took him down. Let’s just find the Vindicator. Oh, he’s chasing me. Ah, nice try, buddy. All right, that’s him taken care of. They’re just going to keep spawning from that pillager pirate ship, aren’t they? Oh, great. Now it’s raining. I’m so tired of storms, bro. Not only does it disrupt my vision, it also destroys my frame rate. All right, let’s see here. Let’s take these glass bottles as we’re going to need them to keep water stored as let’s not forget about my thirst bar. But we can’t drink the water straight from the ocean cuz of course it’s salt water. So, we’ll need to boil up this water later to purify it. Oh my goodness, it’s so windy. This is unbearable. Yo, there’s loads of chicken in here. Okay, this is great. We’ll continue looting the ship after I’ve built my base. Oh, looks like a barrel got washed up to shore. I only had a little bit of wood in it. Let’s try and sleep to make the storm pass as the waves are just crazy. All right, looks like it’s safe to build. Oh, goodness gracious. We can’t let rain stop us every 10 minutes. We’ve got a job to do. Bro, look at all the washed up loot. All these barrels. It’s crazy. Let’s store some stuff in our chest. And let’s get to work. I definitely think we could turn this area into like a tower. Let’s just grab our axe. And let’s just get rid of all of this. There’s a lot of trap doors here. We’ll clear this top space. And then we’ll turn it into a sort of lighthouse/ cabin on top of the hill. I think that would look really cool. Thanks to the physics mod, I can literally just kick these trap doors into the ocean like this. Goodbye trap door. I’m going to keep the campfire where it is, as this thing is the only thing that’s regening my health right now because unfortunately, for some reason, my health doesn’t regenerate, which is extremely depressing. All right, let’s see here. If we build around this edge, and then I think this will be good to go. Yeah, I like that. It’s like weird, misshapen, but kind of adds a bit of character to it. Let’s just go ahead and build upwards. Now, I don’t have a ton of wood, so I can’t be too lenient. But I do have a bunch of jungle saplings, so it would be a good idea actually to plant these down.Oop. We’ll place one here. And we’ll place one here. Perfect. Bro, I actually think I’m running out of wood. Let’s make ourselves some doors. And then we’ll get this filled in. Now, at least we have some form of front door section now. And then let’s go ahead and add another layer to the top of this tower. clear out this tree and then we’ll go ahead and grab a bunch of stone. Let’s grab all of this and then let’s go ahead and attempt to put a roof on this very dodgy looking tower that there’s potential here. You just need to trust me. Okay. Also, I’m starting to think it’s just going to be constant thunder whilst I’m out here. Weather is weird in the deep ocean. Climate change, man. I just don’t know what’s going on. But as terrifying as this ocean is, you cannot deny that beautiful view. This is going to be one hell of a journey. Who knows what this ocean has in store for us, but I’m sure we’ll thrive and survive and stay alive until help arrives whilst I’m being chased by pirates with knives. It’s looking a little janky now. I’m on the second layer because it it just it’s just like there’s no order here. It’s just pure chaos. If we use these last few stairs to make the joints here, it might look a little better. Oh, okay. We’re kind of saving it somehow. I don’t really know how I’m doing this. Let’s just use slabs to fill this in now. I do not have enough stone to make another layer. And I do not want to be spending my entire 100 days mining stone just so I can build a roof. And there we go. We’ll slap down a couple torches to stop mobs from spawning. Now, let’s hop down here. You know what? It’s actually not terrible. I think if we swap out these blocks for logs, I think we’re good. I like it. Oh my goodness. My campfire is a It’s smoking up the room, bro. Oh my god. We got to get a window in here. Oh my goodness, bro. Chill. Let’s try breaking a hole in the ceiling and hopefully the smoke will clear out. There we go. I wonder if I can make it look like a chimney. Like this. There we go. That’s It’s a chimney now. Okay. and we’ll put a trap door on it and open it up. Oh, that’s actually kind of cool. All right, hopefully the smoke should clear. It’ll find its way out, I’m sure. For now, though, let’s work on the inside. Let’s grab a shovel, get our slabs, and let’s swap out the floor. Can’t be walking around on dirt, you know. At least we got a free bed, too. I’m pretty happy with that. Once we get this house in order, I’m very excited to head out and explore. Of course, we have some things to sort like our water situation and our food. Let’s go ahead and get these slabs down. We’re doing it. We’re doing it. From lost in the ocean on a single raft to becoming the rightful owner of an abandoned island. Don’t ask how I got here. I just got here. Oh, my jungle tree grew. Yo, that looks beautiful. That really adds to the aesthetic of the island. All right, that looks like all of the floor has been changed out. Now, of course, let’s just do a little bit of moving around. Put our crafting table in the corner as well as our furnace. The chest can stay because we can go ahead and make another chest and place it down. Ooh, you can make different kinds of chests in this mod pack. All right. I mean, inconvenient because I did want a double chest, but so be it. Is there anything in this chest I care about? Oh, yeah. Diamonds. Let’s not break that. I don’t know what this strange thing is with signs on it, but I want to keep it. So, for now, it stays. There is a little plant pot here. So, let’s plant a little sapling in the plant pot. Look at that. Very cute. Very sweet. Let’s move our bed to here. And I’d say we’re done with the house for now. It’s definitely um improvised, but I mean, look at what I’m working with here. I’m in the middle of the ocean. Let’s go ahead and clear our inventory out. And let’s get things more organized. Of course, we need a pickaxe, an axe, and a shovel. We’ll keep our crossbow for ranged combat. We’ll keep our raft for traveling. We’ll take some food. And most importantly, let’s grab our dirty water bottles and place it on the campfire so we can boil it up and purify it. Purified water is going to quench our thirst. Whoa. Wait a minute. Oh my god. Did I not boil it enough? Oh my god. Bro, what? It’s slightly dirty. You tell me I have to re boil it again. Well, I’m an idiot and I’m also a hungry idiot. Great. Hey, hold up. It wouldn’t surprise me if a lot of boats got destroyed. Well, at least we have a backup raft for now. All right. Is our water pure finally? Oh, it’s acceptable. Bro, you’re kidding me. You have to boil this water over and over again. Do I have any flint? H. No. I would like to light this up. All right. Look at this. Our water bottle is now purified. So, now our thirst will stay quenched for a lot longer. Well, we only have a few glass bottles and there’s no sand here, but this will have to do. Let’s also keep our fishing rod to hand as that will allow us to grab the barrels that are floating near our island. Look at that. I’m pulling it closer and closer. Come to me. Yes. All right, I can break that. And what do we get? Oh, nice. We got an iron ingot. Sweet. Oh, and another one. And cooked mutton. Yo, do my eyes deceive me? has one found a crusty roll. My life is now complete. Let’s boil these last few bottles of water, get it all nice and purified, and then tomorrow we shall head out into the ocean. We’ll stick to using the raft for now. I can only go so far. If I went ahead even further, of course, we’re going to have to craft ourselves a ship. But to make the ship, we need some extra components. The main one being a sail. And despite being easy to make, I need leads. And well, I don’t have any. So hopefully we can find them in barrels or structures. But enough chitchat. Let’s go and explore. What is that? I know I can make a boat with storage, but it would also be good to have some portable storage. So, how much is it to make a backpack? Leather, iron, and plant string. Okay. Well, we can use plant fibers to make plant string, and we just need leather. Okay, I very much doubt there’s any cows out here, so I might have to be relying on loot for that. We got like half a stack of coal. Amazing. So, let’s go ahead and smell some sand. Let’s go ahead and regen our hearts by the campfire. Let’s make a couple jungle chests to store everything. Now, I’m pretty sure we can craft an oxygen tank so we can breathe underwater. It won’t be as good as a submarine, but that is definitely something we need to consider. And it’s really cheap, too. There you go. What is this? I can put my iron ore on the campfire. What? No, I don’t want to. No, I can’t get it off. Oh well. Let’s take the glass, swap it out for iron. And let’s see here. How do we make an oxygen tank? Bottles, two chests, and a piece of glass. Well, that’s pretty easy. Bottles, glass, and two chests. So, let’s go ahead and craft a couple of those. All right, let’s see here. Two chests, a piece of glass, and two bottles. Boom. All right, we got ourselves an oxygen tank. Now, how does this work? Can put it on my back. Oh, great. Another storm. So, all we have left now is the cabin, which we can craft. We just need glow stone cuz everything else is pretty easy to get. So, we’ll need to head into the Nether at some point. And the aim of the game is to destroy the pirate ships. If I blow them up, it should stop the pillagers from spawning, and it should keep the villagers safe and remove the pirate pillager nuisances. Now, let’s get our bookcases. I’m going to build the bookcase area like this. Put the enchantment table in the middle. That should be enough to make it full power, right? This one has definitely been a tough one. This is the most tested I’ve ever been. It just never ended. I had no breathing space. I was always being attacked. Everything was trying to kill me.
