Can You Beat Hardcore Minecraft from a Single Water Block?
need to fish is our lily pad. And fishing on this little block is actually so freaking difficult. You have to get like right on the edge of it. You have to look straight up, row the bobber, and just wait for a fish while floating literally in the middle of the void. And one thing I failed to mention is I actually need to catch the lily pad within the next hour. Otherwise, phantoms will spawn. And last I checked, a single source of water in the middle of the void mixed with phantoms typically doesn’t end up very well. I have failed this challenge nine other times. Most of them were me being stupid, but some of them I couldn’t really do anything about. I really hope that edit was sick because I had the idea in my brain. I didn’t know how to put in the video. But anyways, here we are. Attempt number 10. We need to get oursel a lily pad, which if you remember only has a 1.5% chance of being caught. But something you got to remember is there’s 13 other items that you can potentially fish up. Oh my gosh, we got bamboo. We got bamboo. That’s like a8% chance I need like 44 of these. And fun fact, they can only be caught in a jungle biome. I was lowkey hoping for a lily pad, but a bamboo is honestly just as good. And I’ll take as many of them as I can get. Dude, oh my gosh. Bamboo is nice and all, but just give me a stick of lily pad. I don’t want to have to restart this challenge. Like, look at this. This is kind of ridiculous. I have two pieces of bamboo, a string, and two bones. All of which are a lot harder to catch supposedly, quote unquote, then a lily pad with a 1.5% chance of being caught. Like, come on, Gabe. Really? Oh, yes. That took so freaking long to get. Oh my gosh. Now, the moment you goobers have been waiting for, we can actually place this lily pad on top of this water by going underneath it. Don’t ask me how that’s possible. I have no idea. But anyways, now that we have the lily pad, we have the option to place blocks and also a way to escape phantoms, which pretty much all you have to do is just jump down in the waterfall to get to a lower Y level in which phantoms won’t be able to spawn and ruin your entire challenge. So, the current goal is to get our very first block. And the only thing that we need to be able to make that happen is just two more pieces of bamboo. Yes. Okay, there we go. Four pieces of bamboo. That’s exactly what we needed. And with these four pieces of bamboo, we can actually craft our very first block of this challenge, guys. Look at this. We got a bamboo plank in our inventory, dude. Now, in order to place it, you can use this cool little trick with string where you just put the string up against it, and then you can take your plank, place it against the string, and boom. Look at that. We got a block placed. And this is something you got to be super careful with. Otherwise, you can misplace and just basically delete your entire water source. Oh my gosh, I just did that. Dude, are you kidding me? I am such a freaking goober, guys. Now, all we have to do is lower this block because I’m actually going to be standing on it to fish to get the rest of the bamboo needed to progress in this challenge. So, the first thing we need is either a block or piece of string. Luckily, we have a piece of string that we can just slap right underneath this block here. Step number two is a little bit trickier. You have to break the bamboo plank. You have to swim in the waterfall and place the bamboo plank directly underneath the string. Then you got to pick up the string, place it underneath it, and just rinse and repeat that entire process until you’re at a Y level in which phantoms can’t spawn, which for me was Y 58. And in case you guys are wondering, it took 2 hours to get a single block. And we are going to need so many more of them if we have any chance of beating this challenge. Now, don’t get me wrong. Technically, you could spend thousands of hours of your life fishing to get all the blocks that you need for this next part. And unless you’re mud flaps, realistically, I don’t think that’s even possible. So, that leaves option number two, which is to find yourself a snowy tiger biome. Now, there’s a couple reasons we specifically need a snowy tiger biome. But for now, we need to first ask ourselves the question, how are we even going to get there? Now, in preparing for this challenge, I actually found a seed which spawned me in a jungle biome and has a snowy tiger biome 800 blocks away. Last I checked, traveling 800 blocks across the void is nearly impossible if you don’t have any blocks or items. And lucky enough, in my testing, I was able to come up with two specific things I could do to get 800 blocks across the void. Option number one, I can manipulate the single water source to make a giant waterfall 800 blocks across the void. The one problem with this method is you will eventually lose blocks. And right now, blocks are the most important item in this entire challenge. And crazy enough, option number two allows us to never lose a single block. All you need is a couple slabs. And how we’re going to do this, guys, is actually insane. But we are going to need a lot of wood to be able to do this. And the only way you can get wood is by spending a freaking week of your life fishing for bamboo. Lucky for you guys, you just get a cool little edit of this. But oh my gosh, guys. This took me so long. Yes. Oh my gosh, guys. That took me so long. Look at this. A little bit over 24 hours of fishing in 4,493 times fish, guys. That is absolutely nuts. Now, what we can do is we can take this 40 pieces of bamboo. And because we are in snapshot version 22W42A, we can take our bamboo and we can craft all of it into bamboo planks. And before we actually craft these planks into specific items that we need, we’re going to use them to get all the way down to the bottom of the void. And before I did that, I actually updated to a newer version, not because it changes how the game is played, but because I wanted some more mods to be able to make better videos for you guys. So, in case any of you were wondering, just thought I’d be transparent. And now we could focus on getting all the way down to the bottom of this world. And the easiest way to do that is just to swim in this waterfall and place all of the planks just like this. Then from there, you swim all the way up. You get back down and you break all of the planks and repeat that entire process until you get all the way down to -63. So now what we need to do is we need to craft oursel a crafting table. Now this is going to be critical for the rest of this challenge. And the whole reason we started in snapshot version 22w42A was to get this crafting table. So we’re going to slap this guy down and we are going to make oursel our very first slabs of this challenge. And these slabs right here, guys, this is what we’re going to be using to travel 800 blocks across the void. And there’s a couple things about slabs, more specifically bottom half slabs that I need to show you guys. And when the slab breaks, look very carefully at where the block goes when it’s broken. Notice how when I broke it, the block went up. That right there is what we’re going to be using to catch every single slab that we break. Now, if you notice, the player hitbox is actually a little bit smaller than a block. So utilizing our player hit box, if we count four pixels from the bottom of the block we want to break, when we break this block, we will collect it every single time. So if we accidentally went too far forward and we broke the block, we would just fall in the void and we would have to restart the entire challenge. So now that you guys got the inside scoop of how this is possible, we’re we’re doing this for real. And my palms are literally already setting sweating. I can’t even talk, dude. I’m so nervous about this. One one wrong move and I’m literally dead. And for anyone wondering, yes, I actually turned on toggle shift this time. So, I’m getting better at the game, guys. And even with toggle shift, this was still one of the most nerve-wracking parts of this entire challenge. Yeah, don’t mind me, guys. I’m just like bridging 800 blocks across the void with freaking sweaty palms. What can go wrong? Guys, we’re about to do it. We are literally at 800 blocks. Look at this. 800 blocks across the void. That’s insane, dude. We are literally floating in the middle of the void with a single slab of wood. Now, luckily for phase three, one of the items that we fished up was a bunch of bones. So, if we just place our crafting table like this, turn all of our bones into bone meal, turn all the bone meal into bone blocks, we can then place all of these blocks down and make oursel a little bit of a bridge in the middle of the void. Now, the reason we built this platform is to collect snow. And in order to collect snow, we are going to need a couple of shovels. Now, if you’re wondering why the heck we even need snow in the first place, there’s a couple reasons, but the first one is we actually need as much of it as we can get to be able to make oursel a mob grind. All right, so a couple hours later and almost four shovels. Look at this. 58 snow blocks. Also, fun fact, if you take your almost broken shovels and combine them together, you actually get a little bit extra durability on the shovel when you repair it. And when you’re in a challenge that’s almost impossible to beat, any durability tool is going to come in handy. So, I’m just going to hold on to this for later. So, we got 58 snow blocks, 19 pieces of string, 42 tripwire hooks, some bamboo slabs, some bone meal, and this may not look like a whole lot, but this right here is all we need to build oursel a pretty legitimate mob grinder. Now, mobs have a special mechanic in which they can only spawn if they’re 24 blocks away from a player. So, if we do a little spawn sphere, it looks something like this. We can actually use the blocks that we have in the one water block challenge and build ourself a mob grinder. Just like that, we got ourselves a little mob grinder. So basically, the mobs are going to spawn here. They’re going to fall in this little chute. The spiders will funnel this way. We can kill the spiders without them killing us. So now that we have a design, we just need to copy this and put it in our one water block world. So this design actually took me a decent amount of time to come up with just because of the limited resources that I have. And with this also being in hardcore, I really couldn’t risk taking any damage from any mobs. And so I had to make this as safe as I possibly could from every single mob possible. And there we go. The mob grinder 49,000 has been completed. And um yeah, all we got to do is just wait for night time cuz this thing only works at night. We got zombies. We got our first mobs. Okay, so that’s basically how the farm works right there. They’re just going to fall in there and then they can’t get out. Then when the sun rises, they’ll burn. They will die and we can collect their loot. And the mobs that we currently need the most right now are skeletons and spiders because they drop bones and string, which we can actually craft into blocks to get more blocks. And the first thing I’m going to do with these blocks is actually make this mob farm a little bit more safe. And the way that I’m going to do that is build a line of blocks to basically block the line of sight from the mobs that want to kill me. And just like that, we designed and built a mob grinder that lets us take absolutely no damage from any mobs. And the cool thing about this design is it’s actually expandable, which can let me get blocks even faster. Oh man, I I actually can’t believe that we have a working mob grinder, guys. This is so cool. It’s slow right now, but trust the process, it’s going to get a lot faster. So, for the next 5 hours, all I did was grind this mob grinder. And it was actually really effective because fun fact, the lower you are in a Minecraft world, the more regularly mobs could spawn. And we can use this mechanic to our advantage by getting more spawning spaces to get more mobs to eventually get more blocks. Guys, look at this. We got a wolf. I completely forgot that wolves can spawn on snow blocks in certain biomes. Dude, this is so crazy. Look at this. We got a pet wolf. That’s That’s unreal. This is so cool. We got a pet dog, guys. It just blows my mind that we started from just a single source of water and a fishing rod and now we have a dog. We got a freaking mob grinder. Attempt number 10, guys. This is freaking sweet. Now, another mob that is absolutely critical to this challenge is foxes. And if you guys remember, one of the reasons we bridged 800 blocks across the void was for these little dudes. And when foxes spawn, they have a chance to spawn with an item in their mouth that are actually pretty useful. The one that we need the most, though, is an emerald. And the reason we need emeralds is for wandering traders, which if you didn’t know, can be exploited. In other words, we need foxes for emeralds to be able to trade with wandering traders. Otherwise, this challenge would not be possible. And now that we have this epic mob grinder to get blocks to get foxes to get emeralds, we can officially start phase four. So, technically, this mob grinder also counts as a fox farm, but the rate at which foxes spawn is unbearably slow. So, in theory, the more available blocks we have for foxes to spawn, the more foxes we’ll get, which means we will get more emeralds. Oh. Oh my gosh. Where the freak did you come from? Oh my goodness, guys. That could have been so bad. That was at least like I don’t know 40 hours of work at this point, dude. That’s crazy. Oh my gosh. I don’t want to risk anything. I’m just going to stay in my little bubble away from these mobs. Dude, this is so stressful. Oh my gosh, guys. I’m so dumb. So witches spawn and they happen to drop redstone and we can use that redstone and we can craft redstone torches. I also just realized witches could drop sticks. So we pretty much have an infinite supply of light which is actually gamechanging. This is going to change everything guys. Now the reason I say that is with light comes the ability to control where hostile mobs can spawn. So if we just happen to get ourselves a ton of blocks, we can actually make a space where foxes can spawn but mobs can’t. What the freak? What? What? What even happened? I was just chilling and then it blew up. Not a super big deal because we’re actually getting blocks pretty quickly from this little mob grinder, but um yeah, it does set us back a little bit, which kind of sucks. I will say the one downside of this little mob grinder is the amount of spiders you get. So, this takes so much of my time and it’s really making me consider making like a little spider farm or something. So, another thing to consider, this is actually kind of nerdy, but if I look at the entity count for the mobs, we are pretty much capped out. So, there’s really no need for me to keep expanding this platform, which means I could turn my attention toward expanding the area around me to get more foxes. That’s that’s kind of what I’m thinking anyway. Oh. Oh, shoot. This is Oh my gosh, guys. This is so not good. This is so not good. Oh, man. All I wanted to do is farm some blocks. I’m at half a heart. I got an arrow in my head. This is a terrible start to the day. Holy cow. So, as you guys can see, I’ve expanded the platform a little bit. We’re on a 3×3 instead of a one by one now. So, that’s kind of good. But, uh, the plan for today, take the platform that we have, make it a little bit wider just because I want to be more safe than sorry. And then we’re going to work on like a spider farm or something. And the reason I say that is killing these spiders wastes a ton of time that could be used to spawn foxes. So, if I can get myself a little spider spawner thingy, it’s going to be a lot better for this challenge. Update time. We got ourselves a glow stone. This is going to provide a decent amount of light for this area. We got 50 bones in a single night, which is insane. We originally starting at like three or four and now we’re at 50. That’s so crazy. And we’re on day 135, which is super. And I feel pretty good about the platform that we have now. So, I’m actually going to start working on our little spider killing thing. I don’t even know what to call it. Now, the design I’m going for needs a ton of blocks. And luckily, this mob grinder produces a ton of bone blocks a night. And this is kind of what we’re going for with the spider farm. We have these little pillars right here. Basically, if these are too high, the spiders will just lose interest. And so you got you got to spread them out a little bit. And then if we go over here and we just spawn like a buttload of these things just like all throughout. I can show you guys kind of like how this works. And what happens is they track you and then because of the height of the pillars, they just take all the fall damage and and then they die. And I don’t have to worry about any of the spiders really getting me except if they have the regen effect. I I need to make a plan for that. So yeah, that that’s the spider farm in a nutshell. And now we just need to get a bunch of resources together and we can build this thing. And with the help of this mob grinder and a bunch of spiders, we were able to make that happen pretty quick. This is why we did a spider farm, guys. I don’t know how, but somehow they’re just escaping. They’re freaking Houdinis or something. I don’t know. But um yeah, we really need to start getting these blocks together for the spider farm. Check this out. We got our first stack of blocks in the one water block challenge. This is so cool. We’re going to need a lot more than that. So, back to the grind. And I guess I’ll get back to you guys when I have all the blocks. All right, it’s been about an hour and I think we have enough to officially get started on this little spider farm. So, the first thing we need to do is build like the little pillars in which the spiders are going to climb up. There we go. We got the pillars. This was pretty cool. Now, we just need to get down here and not die. But now we need to build the actual spawn platform for these guys, which I am probably going to need more blocks for. And now that we got some blocks, we can start building the little spider platform thingy. So, pretty much what we’re going to do is we’re going to do a base layer of blocks. We’re going to do string and then carpet on top of that. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is all you need to be able to make a string farm and the one water block challenge. This is peak Minecraft right here, guys. We got a string farm and we got a freaking epic mob grinder behind us. This is awesome. This is so cool. We are making insane progress, and it’s a darn good thing. And we got a bunch of string because we are going to need a lot of it. I then spiderproof the original mob farm. And while I was just waiting around for mobs to spawn, something super weird happened to the mob farm. What the freak? I’m so confused. How did that blow up? So, with the help of Flashback mod, shout out Malberry. If we zoom forward, this guy right here, this little dude, this stinking wolf is what ruined this entire thing. So, what happens is he walks into the hole where skeletons are. Wolves and skeletons do not mix. And then you throw some creepers into that and yeah, you get this just a freaking explosion caused by a wolf, a skeleton, and a creeper. Not a very good combination at all. There’s so many game mechanics that are just in the game. Like self-defense is a game mechanic in Minecraft. That’s actually kind of cool. I mean, creepers don’t have a Second Amendment, right? But they do have the right to blow other things up if they get attacked. That’s kind of funny if you think about it. Now, the whole point for phase four is to get a bunch of emeralds, and we still haven’t had a single one yet. And so I just expanded my farms when all of a sudden we got what we were looking for. Oh my gosh. Oh, that fox has an emerald. We literally started from a single block of water and now we’re punching a fox to get an emerald. Look at this. We have a freaking emerald. This is so cool. 140 freaking 7 days of grinding to get one emerald. Oh man, it’s worth it. It’s so worth it, though. And now all we need is a wondering trader that trades us a moss block, which brings us to phase five. So, pretty much what we need to do from here is just expand this platform to allow as many opportunities for wandering trader to spawn. And this is the main reason we needed so much string because for some reason wandering traders can’t actually spawn on top of snow. Which means theoretically, like any other mob, they should be able to spawn on top of string, which is another reason why we went ahead and built the string far because the more string we get, the more opportunities for wandering traders to spawn without us having to clear out any snow. Now, the goal right now is to simply expand our platform because the more space we have for wandering traders, the more opportunities they have to spawn. Now, the only problem with that is we need blocks. And the only way you get blocks is with mobs, and mobs only spawn at night. Unless you’re a genius and you build a giant box around your mob farm to allow mobs to spawn both night and day. So, I spent the next couple hours doing exactly that, hoping it would increase the rates of this mob grinder. So, I just finished the farm, and if I’m being honest with you guys, I’m not really noticing much of a difference. And to make this farm a little bit more efficient, I had the idea to put a wolf in each of these corners over here. And then any skeletons that spawn will like run away from the wolf, which would in theory allow me to get bones faster to get more blocks to allow more spawning spaces for this wandering trader to spawn. Now, in order to get the wolves to spawn, we need blocks for them to spawn on, which lucky for us, we do have a couple snow blocks left over. So, if we just place these down and just wait patiently, and we’re 24 blocks away, we should be able to get a wolf to spawn. So, while I waited for the wolf, here’s a little summary of what I did. I just literally bullied Enderman and expanded my platform. That’s it. Wow, look at that, guys. We got ourselves a wolf. That honestly didn’t take as long as I thought it would. So, now all I got to do is force feed this guy till he loves me. There we go. Then we force them to make a baby and we kidnap its baby and we put it inside of a farm. Just to show you guys what’s going on, we got the wolves in the corner. And if we look very carefully, we should be able to see some of these skeletons just kind of like run toward the middle, which is exactly what we want. So hopefully this little mechanic allows us to get bones a little bit faster because I really need this wandering trader to spawn sometime soon. So you guys remember about what I said about wandering traitors being able to spawn on string. Guess what? I’m an idiot. Because for the same reason they can’t spawn on snow layers is the same reason they can’t spawn on string. Now I don’t know why, but wandering traders are super super picky where they can spawn. And that’s something I super wish I knew sooner because all this work of putting a bunch of string was basically for nothing. And to basically summarize it up for you guys, wandering traders will not spawn on any obstructed block that has access to daylight. So pretty much anything between the block and the sky counts as an obstructed block. And to really test this out, I made a giant platform, slapped a bunch of string on it, AFKed for 100 Minecraft days, and didn’t see a single wandering traitor. Um, this plan totally backfired, so we’re going to need to change things up a bit. And I don’t know why I didn’t think of this earlier, but zombies actually have a chance to drop an iron ingot when you kill them. And with that ingot, we can actually make oursel a shovel to get rid of all the snow to allow for wanding traders to spawn. So the new game plan, I’m going to get all of the string. I’m going to turn all of it into as many wool blocks as I can. And then we’re going to take those blocks, build oursel a mob grinder, 22 blocks up in the air, so when the mob falls, we can hit them once instead of 20 times just to get a single piece of iron. You guys ready for this? Check this out. A stinking brand new iron shovel. That is so cool. It only took us about 184 days, but um we’re making progress, guys. We’re we’re going to get ourselves a wandering trader soon. I can feel it. So, I was building the mob grinder, and I’m pretty sure this fox right in front of my face has an emerald in its mouth. Come on, dude. Show yourself. Where’s it? Yes. Okay. I’m pretty sure it’s an emerald. That’s an emerald. Let’s go. The anticipation is killing me. Oh my gosh. Yes. There it is. Look at that little green thing. Oh, I love those. Two emeralds in 186 days. I dare you guys to beat that. All right, so it’s been a while, but check this out. We’re pretty much done from here. All I got to do is just get rid of all these redstone torches, decommission the old mob grinder, and there we go. Mob grinder completed. It is working. It’s not as fast as the other one for some reason. I’m not really sure why, but um it does the job. It works. Now, we just need to get lucky with some iron. One thing I am noticing, though, is I get blocks a lot faster than the other mob grinder, which means the bigger platform we have, the more opportunities for a wandering trader to actually spawn. And when I wasn’t placing blocks, I was punching mobs to get as much iron as I possibly could to get more shovels. All right, shovel number one broken, which is totally fine with me because look at all of these snowballs. And the cool thing about snowballs is you can actually craft them into snow blocks. And snow blocks are actually pretty OP because they are the only block I currently have access to that can spawn both a fox and a wandering trader. And every single block I place gets me just a tiny bit closer to getting myself a wandering trader. And as I was clearing out snow for these guys to spawn, guess what? We had our very first wandering trader of the one water block challenge appeared right in front of our eyes. Oh my gosh. Holy freak, guys. Look at this. 190 days for a single wandering trader. Oh my gosh. All right, dude. Give me something good. Come on. Moss block. Dang it. This guy sucks. I really wish this guy had it, but oh well. It is what it is. The game is the game. And u we just have to wait for another one. We just need to get really lucky with these dudes. From there, I was just doing my thing, farming some mobs, when I realized I had three pieces of iron. And for some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to craft an iron pickaxe. Look at this, guys. We got ourselves an iron pickaxe. We’re moving up in this world. So, what I’m going to do is I’m actually going to tear down this old mob grinder and get some blocks back because I can place those blocks down to get more wandering traders. Hopefully, that’s kind of the goal here. You know, low key, I am regretting doing that. We did get a bunch of blocks, but these were easily things I could have farmed. So, h what could I What else could I have used that iron for, though? Shovels. I could have used freaking shovels to get more blocks. Oh my gosh, why did I not think of that? So, every single time I get a piece of iron, I’m going to make a shovel to get a bunch of snow blocks to expand the platform and make it even bigger. Guys, emerald number three. Just wanted to show you guys that. Also, thanks for watching the video. Hello everybody. Welcome back to the channel. Today we’re going to be mining a bunch of snowballs. For some reason, I thought wandering traders were going to be more common than these foxes with emeralds, but apparently not because look at this. We have four freaking emeralds already. Now, the next couple days of my life pretty much just consisted of killing zombies for iron ingots, crafting them into shovels, and expanding the platform. And unless we get ourselves some wandering traders, this is literally the only thing I can do for the next little while. Oh. Oh my gosh, we got a wandering trader. Dude, come here. Get away from the mobs. We got to look at this. Dang it. Oh, it doesn’t have anything that I need. That sucks. I hate wandering traders. They’re the worst. So, right now, the only thing stopping us from progressing is getting the stupid wandering trader with a dirt and a sapling trade or the moss trade. So, right now, everything is just pretty much RNG based. And this could take thousands of days. It could take hundreds. Who knows? And to pass the time, this is my take at a redstone lamp. They’re nothing pretty, but maybe the wandering traders will like them and they’ll want to be on my platform more. I don’t know. And something else worth mentioning is this farm sometimes gives some pretty good loot. So, if you’re wondering where I get anything, it’s usually from this little mob grinder. And not long after that, I had my third wandering trader of the one water block challenge. Now, I don’t know if it’s because of the size of this platform that’s making them spawn more regularly, but I will take it. Um, third time is not the charm because this guy sucks. Maybe I can get the bucket of puffer fish or some sand. I don’t even know what the heck I would use sand for. And while I waited for the next wandering trader, guess what I did? The exact same thing over and over. And this time, I accidentally shot a baby fox and it gave me an emerald. So, that’s kind of cool. Oh my gosh, that little baby had an emerald. What are the odds? Oh my gosh, that is so cool. We’re up to five emeralds now. And literally a couple minutes after that last clip, guess what? We got ourselves another one. Um, what the heck is that? An emerald. That’s an emerald. Why is it just chilling there? Fox must have dropped it or something or died. Weird. Yo, what’s up little guys? We got ourselves some slimes. Welcome to the platform. Hope you guys are enjoying your stay. But guess what? Sadly, you cannot be here because I don’t want you guys to kill me. So, you guys are going to get shot in the face. How about that? As nice as it is having company, I really don’t want those guys to just sneak up and kill me when I’m not paying attention. So, I’m just going to spawn proof this whole thing really quick. And then I’m going to keep hitting these mobs to get some more iron because the next thing I want to do is get myself a cauldron. I’m also going to need a bucket as well. So, we’re going to need a grand total of 10 iron ingots, which should be enough to get us an infinite source of water, which is pretty crazy. This was a good call because farming iron this way actually wasn’t that bad and I was getting them pretty quick. No way, dude. Right in front of me. Yo, what’s up, dude? What do you got for sale? Okay, moment of truth. What do you have? He has an oak sapling. Oh my gosh, guys. He has an oak freaking sapling. We are so going to get that. Oh, man. That’s so cool. Okay, big moment. Here we go. Oak sapling. We We got ourselves an oak sapling. This is crazy. Now, all we need is a piece of dirt. And luckily, these guys do sell dirt. So, I do think I need to save up a little bit more emeralds. And if we do get a moss block, we can buy that still. This is such a huge moment, guys. I I can’t even tell you guys how excited I am about this. We have a freaking oak sapling. We can actually get wood now. And for anyone wondering, we are 224 days in the one water block challenge on attempt number 10. This challenge is literally insane. And it’s taken me so long to get here. And we are going to need more emeralds to trade with the wandering traders. And the only way to get emeralds is to kill foxes. And the only way to get passive mobs to spawn is to completely remove all the other passive mobs on the platform. That way, when a mob does spawn, it could be a fox and potentially have an emerald in its mouth. And if you guys want to know the statistics, it takes about 359 foxes to get eight emeralds. And sometimes you don’t even need to kill a fox to get an emerald. Like sometimes I just find them on the ground just chilling there. And the way that happens, I’m pretty sure, is the foxes just pick up another item and just leave the emerald behind. That’s the only reasonable explanation for it. So, once you get to a certain point in these like sky block kind of challenges, the only thing you can really do is just grind for resources, which is basically what I did with all the iron. And since this platform is also a fox form, we would also get the occasional emerald. And once we got ourselves 10 pieces of iron, we could finally make oursel a bucket and a cauldron to get an infinite source of water. and using the water bottles we got from fishing at the very beginning of this challenge. We could actually fill up this cauldron and use it to get a full bucket of water. And right now, the coolest thing about this bucket of water is we can use it to clear out all of the snow on this giant platform. Look at that. All of it’s gone just like that. The only problem, however, with using water is it does get rid of all of the torches that I placed down for a light source. And surprisingly, this actually took a decent amount of time to get all of the light sources right to where mobs couldn’t spawn. And I’m also a little bit of a perfectionist, so that probably didn’t help either. So, we got all of the lighting elevated on this platform, so when I clear out the snow, none of the lighting is going to wash away. So, now all I got to do is just wait for a wandering trader to trade a piece of dirt. That way, I could finally grow some trees and get some wood. So, while we wait for that guy, I’m going to get a bunch of bones, get a bunch of bone blocks, and I’m going to make myself a little fishing area. So, we got ourselves an infinite water source. We got ourselves a giant platform and a mob grinder. The only thing we need to progress in this challenge is more wandering traders. Now, usually you would have to wait forever for a wandering trader to spawn in your world, but what if I told you guys there’s actually a way to make them spawn significantly faster. And when I first heard about this, I thought it wasn’t even possible until I tried it out. And holy freak, guys, it totally works. And all you need is a stopwatch. So, I’m going to be real with you guys. This did take me a little bit to figure out at first, but once I had it down, oh my gosh, guys, your grandma could literally do this. So, the first thing you want to do is log in your world. The second thing you want to do is log out of your world within 2 minutes of logging in. That’s literally it. That’s all you have to do to make this glitch work. Now, the science behind this is if you do this enough times, when we open the game files, we will see the wandering trader spawn timer start to go into the negatives. And as long as this number is in the negatives, the game will always attempt to spawn a wandering trader. The only catch is to keep that number in the negatives, you need to be sure to log out of your world within 2 minutes. If you go over that 2-minute mark, this entire timer is going to reset and you’re going to have to redo this entire process. Big shout out to Tony Top for making this discovery and for Mud Flaps for letting me know about it. And after doing this for a while, I finally figured it out. I got my first wandering trader with this glitch. And guess what? He sold Podzle, which I bought almost instantly and grew my very first tree of the one water block challenge. And at this point, my recording software was being really weird. I wasn’t able to capture any audio for the past couple hours. Not only that, but right when I was about to mine the leaves to get some saplings, something weird with my recording software happened, and I don’t have any of that footage, but guess what? To basically summarize it up for you guys, I didn’t get a single sapling back. Luckily, we had a super OP way of getting wandering traders in our world. And this time, we actually got our moss block. Oh my gosh, I just realized I wasn’t even recording my sound like the past four freaking hours. Okay, anyway, I’m back. Welcome back, guys. Hello. Hello. But anyways, it all worked out because look at this. We have access to a literal infinite amount of wood. This is literally gamechanging and this is going to bring us to the next phase of this challenge. So, it’s currently day 248 and I wouldn’t be surprised if we can actually beat this challenge within the next 100 days. And in order to beat the game, you need to go to the Nether, which means you need a source of lava. Now, I know there’s a couple ways that you can get lava in the world. You can completely reset a chunk. You can go back in a different version, yada yada. and for a challenge I would like others to do and play on their own time, that just didn’t really seem possible and wasn’t really worth all the effort. So instead, what I did is when I created this world, I installed a data pack that made the entire world void except for the end portal with a single source of lava. And in order to get the source of lava, we need a way to get over to where the lava is, which is where all of this wood comes in. And in order to get there, we need to travel hundreds of blocks. And the easiest way to do that is to just craft yourself a buttload of slabs. All right. And now what we need to do is we need to bridge hundreds of blocks. And this is where things can be a little bit tricky because if I fall, I’m going to have to restart this entire challenge. Now, I don’t know what it is about bridging across the void, but every single time I do something like this, my palms just get so freaking sweaty. Dude, my heart is racing so freaking much right now. This is actually insane. Oh my gosh, guys. We are so close. We can see it. We freaking made it. Now, all I got to do is just yink up this lava like this. 257 days for a lava source. That’s That’s just crazy. This challenge is so freaking difficult. Now, before we go back to our little base, I’m actually going to make myself a wooden pickaxe. And I’m going to mine up a few of these blocks. Not really for any particular reason other than just to have some type of variety of block in this world. Terrible sound effect. Don’t judge. But we made it back to our platform. We got ourselves a lava bucket. And in order to duplicate this, we need drip stone, which we could only get from a wandering trader. And wandering traders are actually really easy to get now. So, what I’m going to do is I’m going to make a copstone generator. Oh, it’s on fire. That probably wasn’t a good idea. But guess what? Who cares? Because look at this. We have entered the stone age, everybody. 250 something days later and we finally get cobblestone. In all seriousness though, I am going to build an actual cobblestone generator. One that I can just like AFK at. And because I’m a rocket scientist, if we put the lava here, look at this. we will get an infinite source of cobblestone. All we got to do is mine it over and over. And uh yeah, there it is, guys. A cobblestone generator. Now that we have a cobblestone generator, one thing we can do is we can craft oursel a furnace. And with this furnace, we can actually smelt some logs to get some charcoal to get some torches. Dude, we’re moving up in the world. Crazy. There’s so much stuff you can do with stone. Like look at this. We can make stone freaking tools, which is a huge upgrade from all these stupid wooden ones. Now, we still need that wandering trader to give us dripstone to be able to duplicate the lava source. But before we do that, we’re going to upgrade this mob grinder. There’s an emerald right there, dude. Yes. Okay, I got to be really careful here to get this. Don’t. No. Oh my gosh. Are you serious? Oh my gosh, I missed out on an emerald. I really needed that. Dang it. Okay, back to this mob grinder. This one right here needs to be completely destroyed in order for us to build a new one. So, I guess let’s just do a little time lapse or something. So, you guys remember back in 2016 with the mob grinders and what they look like? That’s pretty much what we’re going to build, but it’s going to be a little bit more efficient. Now, this isn’t a tutorial channel, so I’m just going to show you guys what I did. First thing was this little drop tube, and then I built a bunch of platforms where the mobs are going to spawn. They walk into the water, they fall down, and I kill them. That’s basically how this farm works, and it is so much better than the one that I built previously. So, at this point, I was feeling pretty confident in this mob farm, and I decided to play the game without sound. But guess what? That was a huge mistake. It almost cost me this entire challenge. And if we fast forward a bit, this is where a creeper snuck up on me and almost ended it. I could have died right here, you guys. This is so stupid. Um, what the flip? How? I almost just freaking died. So, lesson learned. Don’t play without sound. Otherwise, you will probably lose this challenge. I can’t believe I did that. Why did I even freaking do that in the first place? I’m not going to lie. I think this helmet saved my life. If if I didn’t have this, I probably would have died. Okay, now that we have things under control, before I actually start farming Wandering Traders, I want to make sure I have enough emeralds for everything that I’m going to need. More specifically, I need an oak sapling because I didn’t get one last time and a dripstone. So, if we do the math right, that is a total of six needed emeralds. Oh my gosh, look at that. Emerald number six. That’s exactly what we needed. So, we got six emeralds. We got a super freaking OP mob farm that gets us tons of gold armor that we can smelt down into ingots later on. So now all we need to do is just do that wandering trader glitch and get ourselves the drip stone and an oak sapling. For this glitch to work, the first thing you need to do is get that spawn delay all the way into the negatives. All right, it took us a little while, but we’re finally in the negative numbers for this wandering trader spawn timer. So now all I got to do is just log out of this world before 2 minutes and we should start seeing some wandering traders pop up. So I totally messed it up. Like I keep forgetting to log out. So the timer delay just keeps getting reset. So, in the meantime, what I’m doing is just expanding this platform for more opportunities for wandering traders to spawn. And we are in the negative integers now. So, we should see Oh my gosh. No way. There’s literally one right there. I was just about to say we should see one pretty quick. Ew, this guy sucks. The only thing I need to do is just make sure I log out every single 2 minutes. If I don’t do that, the timer’s going to reset and we’re just going to be farming wandering traders for like years. And literally a minute and a half later, we got another one. This is so broken. I’m just so stoked this actually works. Oh my gosh. No way, guys. This glitch is just so freaking broken. And this guy sucks anyway. But holy cow, a wandering two wandering traders within 2 minutes of each other. That’s just nuts. That’s unheard of. All right, I’m waiting for wandering traders, but I can’t believe I didn’t think about this earlier, but I should be farming potatoes. This is going to be a way better food source than rotten flesh. M. You got to love me some baked potatoes. You know what I’m saying? Now, even though this glitch does make wandering traders spawn faster, sometimes they still do take forever to spawn, which is actually something I’m not going to complain about because I was able to get a ton done on this platform. I was able to kill some mobs, smelt some gold, and even get myself a zombie villager. But here’s the thing. When wandering traders were able to spawn, out of the 13 that did, none of them gave me anything that I could use. Dude, seriously, what the heck? I’m getting so unlucky. I’m going to sleep and then I’m going to kill this guy. Also, this is a little bit important to know, but I did stream a lot of this and during the stream, chat actually made me kill some dogs with lava. And in doing that, I deleted the lava source. There’s no way I just did that. Um, well, good thing there are some other end portals that have lava in this world, so we’re not totally screwed. I just can’t believe I actually did that. No way. I’m It’s your fault, guys. I blame you. All right. Yes. Yes. There’s the oak sapling. Let’s go. I’m going to buy this really quick. We finally got the oak sapling, guys. Holy cow. That took way longer than I thought it would. But look at this. We got a freaking oak sapling. Okay, so last time we didn’t get any saplings when we grew it. So to make sure we get saplings from the oak tree this time, what I’m going to do is I’m going to take some blocks cuz what we could do is if we put a whole bunch of blocks next to the sapling, it’ll force the sapling to grow taller than it normally does. And the taller the oak tree, which means more leaves, which means a higher chance to get a sapling. No. I got the smallest one ever. What the heck? Are you kidding me? Okay, here we go. Moment of truth. What I’m going to do is I’m going to carefully break all of these leaves and fingers crossed we get a result sap. Um, I’m not freaking out, but I’m lowkey freaking out. I haven’t got a single sapling from this. And this is the last one. Nothing. Not a single freaking sapling. What? I’m so confused. Does the game like hate me? Is the Is the game like anti- sapling? Did I do something wrong to the trees? Okay, either I’m just like really unlucky or I’m doing something wrong. So, I’m in a creative world and I’m just going to see if I get saplings from a bunch of these trees. And so far, oh my gosh, I am getting So, what did I did I just get that unlucky to not get a single sapling or anything from that tree twice? What? Now, technically, I already do have a wood source, but I want an oak sapling specifically to get an apple to convert a zombie villager into a regular villager. And before I get another sapling from another wandering trader using the wandering trader glitch, I need more emeralds. And the best way to do that is to basically remodel this entire platform to allow for as many opportunities for foxes to spawn. And after 2 and 1/2 hours of waiting, it is finally snowing. And what’s cool about this is every single snow layer you see is a potential opportunity for a fox to spawn. And I honestly should have done this a while ago, but to make it so only foxes can spawn and not wolves, I’m going to go around this entire platform and just remove every single snow block. Then we fill in the hole with some bone blocks. And now we just wait for some foxes to spawn with some emeralds. Yeah. All right, we got ourselves an emerald farm. This This is actually pretty good. That only took a couple minutes. So, doing this was actually a really good call because within just a little bit of time, we had all the emeralds that we needed to start farming for some wandering traders. Come on. Oh man, this guy sucks. They never give me what I want, guys. It’s Minecraft 101. So, as a little refresher, we’re looking for a pointed dripstone and a oak sap. Now, if I wasn’t using this wandering trainer glitch, this probably would have taken me a couple days, but I was able to get both of these items within 6 hours, which is actually pretty crazy. Oh my gosh, we got it finally. Holy cow. 6 hoursish later. Look at that. We got an oak sapling. And this guy’s the pointed dripstone. This guy is OP, dude. This is like the perfect wandering trader. Oh yes, there we go. Finally. Exactly what we want. We wanted an oak tree with tons of leaves, guys. This is epic. And this time, we’re not going to break any of the leaves. We’re just going to let them despawn naturally. So hopefully this time we actually get some freaking saplings. Yes, we got a sapling. 340 freaking days to get multiple saplings. That’s just crazy. That’s so dumb that it didn’t work before. Check it out. We got our first apple. This is what we’re going to use to get villagers from one single block of water. And with all the gold armor I’ve smelted, I was able to get myself 16 golden ingots. And with this, I can make myself two golden apples, which we can use to convert two zombie villagers into regular villagers. But before we do anything with these ugly dudes, we actually need to get oursel another source of lava because of a certain unfortunate event, which means we need to find and bridge to another end portal to get another source of lava. And to find another stronghold, I’m going to use my friend chunk base. And we are going to locate another one, which is over 2,000 blocks away from where we are. This is honestly going to take forever. Oh man. And oh, dude, this is always so nerve-wracking, bridging over the void like this. All right, lava bucket number two. Hopefully, this is the very last time I have to go this far to get a lava bucket. So, now that we’re back at our platform, the first thing we need to do with this lava is get ourselves a lava farm to be able to make more of these things. Now, in order to duplicate lava, you’re going to need yourself a cauldron, some blocks that don’t burn, and some dripstone. Now, basically how this works is you have a cauldron with a piece of pointed dripstone pointing directly down into it. Then you take your lava bucket and you put the lava source directly above the block that has the dripstone on it. And what happens here is over time, lava will actually drip from this dripstone, causing this cauldron to fill up with lava. So while we wait for lava to turn into obsidian to turn into another portal, we are going to try and get ourselves some villagers. Now, in order to turn a zombie villager into a regular villager, you’re going to need two things. A weakness potion and a golden apple. We have the golden apples, but we are missing the weakness potion. But fun fact, you can actually get that from witches. Is that weakness? I think I did it. I think I got it. Oh my gosh. No way that actually happened. On top of that, we got a full cauldron of lava, too. Dude, I just can’t believe this actually worked. This took only like 2 minutes. Now, the reason I need these villagers is to actually get some pretty good gear that’s going to last me the rest of this challenge. And to do that, I’m going to need more villagers, which means I’m going to need to get myself a villager breeder. And to build it, we are going to have to move this little lava farm over. So, what I’m going to do, I’m going to add another piece of obsidian. I’m going to move this lava farm. And then we’re going to finish building this breeder to get some villagers. Just taking some freaking good gear. Oh, holy crap. I let all of the mobs out. That is so not good. Oh my gosh, there’s baby zombies after me. Holy crap. I forgot to close the farm up. We got the farm blocked off. That seriously could have been so bad. This right here is a really good example of why I need villagers for really good armor. Because if this happened again and I wasn’t paying attention and I didn’t have good armor, I probably would be dead and I’m going to have to restart the whole challenge over again and I don’t want to do that. Oh, what the heck? How did that guy escape? Get out of here. Be gone, baby. Oh, sweet. An iron ingot. I’ll take that. You guys want to know something crazy? I have farmed over 40 pieces of iron just from killing zombies. That’s That’s pretty good. I can make an anvil or something with that. So, there’s two things we need right now. We need villagers for the gear and we need to be working on the Nether portal behind us. But both of them are taking a while. So, I’ll just get back to you guys when something interesting happens. Oh my gosh, I totally forgot to show you guys that I got a piece of sugar cane from a wandering trader one time. So, we can use this to trade with the books to get the OP enchantments that we need. So, yeah, that actually came in clutch cuz what I’ve been doing is I’ve actually been fishing for books and that takes a ridiculously long time. And where is it? Yeah, there we go. I only have one of them. And something else we’re going to need for those books is a bunch of emeralds, which luckily I can just make a bunch of carrots and then sell those. You guys are dangerously close to like you need to watch your kids, woman. I That’s exactly what I was saying. And then it just falls in the lava. Oh my gosh, the comedic timing on that was great. But yeah, we are making tons of progress here. We’re slowly working on this Nether portal. We’re getting a ton of villagers that we should be able to trade with here pretty soon. The only thing we’re really missing is a bunch of emeralds. So, I have a bunch of carrots. And check this out. If we change our controls, we change our keybinds, we do a little bit, little bit of that, a little bit of this. Just watch how fast we can mine this. Like, this is ridiculously fast. This is broken. This is so crazy. And then if we sell all these carrots to get a bunch of emeralds, we could start working on getting some pretty good armor. You guys like my pants? Look at my pants. Look at my boots. I’m half freaking diamond. Let’s go. Okay, I did a little bit more farming, but check this out. We can get a chest plate and a helmet. And look at that. Full diamond. It’s taken us 352 days to get diamond armor from a single block of water. That’s so crazy to just think about. The only thing we need now is a couple more pieces of obsidian for the Nether portal, some better weapons and gear, and we could finally enter the Nether to get some blaze rods to finally beat the Ender Dragon. Guys, we’re so close. We’re so close. These guys are taking so freaking long to upgrade. Like, look at this. It takes so much time just to upgrade at once. That’s ridiculous. So, I think what I need to do is get myself an iron farm. All right, here we go. Iron farm in working condition. All we need is a lava bucket, which we can yink really quick. Put it in the farm. And just like that, we got a working iron farm. It It took a lot longer than I would care to admit it took, but um yeah, there we go. Iron farm completed. And if I use this iron, I can fully upgrade this guide. We can get ourselves some diamond tools. Oh, efficiency two diamond axe. Yes, please. Thank you very much. I’ve also been farming some sugarcane. And I think this is the last piece that we need to get a book librarian dude, whatever they’re called to get more books, to get OP books to like seriously get some OP gear. First, I need to craft all the books that I have. I need to take this enchanted book and de-enchant it. And then we need to take these. Wait, what? Hold up. You wait. You can’t unenchant a cursive vanishing book. Okay, Minecraft. That’s actually kind of cool. I’m not going to lie. Um, so change of plans. Looks like we got to wait for some sugarcane to grow and then we can get this librarian dude and yeah, we can get more books. Oh my gosh, guys. I just realized instead of getting books from villagers to get a bow, I could just combine all of these now that I have access to iron and I can make an anvil. Oh yeah, we got a perfect bow, guys. Look at that. A power five flame unbreaking three infinity bow. That’s pretty much everything that we need to beat the ender dragon. We really don’t need anything else. Now, I could get protection for on all of my armor and stuff like that. But the way that we’re going to beat the Ender Dragon and go to the Nether, we really don’t need that stuff as long as we’re careful. Which means the only thing left for phase six is I need one more lava source and then I can complete this Nether portal right here. And then we can go to the Nether. We can get everything that we need and then we can beat the game. Okay, it turns out I changed my mind. I actually do want some librarian villagers because I seriously am not going to risk taking any chances. So, I am going to try to get the best gear in the game. The first book I got was a mending book to slap on a pickaxe to get a bunch of cobblestone, which I would need for both the Nether and the End. I then got myself a protection for book because the last thing I wanted was to just take unnecessary damage from mobs and lose this challenge. All right, guys. Check it out. This is our last lava source that we need for this completed Nether portal. This is exciting. So, we’re going to put the water here, lava, just like that. And there we go. A fully enclosed Nether portal. All we have to do is just light the thing. And if you’re wondering how are we going to do that? All you really need is a lava bucket and some wood. So all you got to do is just place some planks down next to the portal that you want to light. Then you take a lava source. You go over to where your portal is. You slap it down. And then after a while, the lava will actually catch the wood on fire and light the portal. Yes, we got a Nether portal, guys. Look at that. 361 days for a Nether portal. Now, if we go through the Nether, I’m going to show you guys a little sneak peek. Usually Nethers have like blocks and stuff like this, but this data pack basically removes every single block in the Nether. So there’s there’s nothing just completely empty. Not only have we entered the Nether, but we have entered the last phase of the one water block challenge. Now, there’s two things we really need to do before we fight the Ender Dragon. We need to get a buttload of blocks and we need blaze rods. Now, the reason we need blocks is so we can get blaze rods because if you remember, the Nether was totally empty and mobs can only spawn on top of blocks. So, what I’m going to do is make myself a cobblestone generator. And to do that, I’m going to need myself some hoppers, some blocks, and of course, lava and water. I honestly would have been better just using the basic sky block cobblestone generator. This thing sucks. So, after a bit of tweaking, I think I figured it out. Look at this. This should be a lot better. I mean, it’s not significantly better, but we’re mining two instead of one. So, yeah, all I got to do now is just AFK, get a bunch of cobblestone, and then we can go to the Nether. Uh, yeah, I think we have enough cobblestone. This is definitely more than what I’m going to need. So, one thing you may be asking is since there’s no blocks inside of this Nether, how are we actually going to find another fortress to get blaze rods? Now, one thing we can do is we can actually load up a creative world with the seed of the one water block challenge and just load up a regular normal world. Then what we need to do is we need to go to the Nether. I forgot to put my feet away. Hang on. Give me a second. Basically, what I was saying is if we go through the Nether, we need to find oursel a Nether fortress. Oh my gosh. What? We spot in a Nether fortress that spawned. Are you kidding me, dude? What? Anyways, this makes my life easier because what you can do is you can actually just take down the coordinates of an intersection. So, 74 and 11. And now we just need to go back to the one water block challenge and bridge to those coordinates and we should be able to get some blazes to spawn. And once we reach the coordinates, we can start building a platform for where the blazes are actually going to spawn. Okay, this should be a good enough size. So now what I need to do is just build like a little box around this so the blazes don’t shoot me and knock me into the void. Now I just got to go 24ish blocks away from this little box and we should hopefully start seeing some blazes spawn. Man, this is like way easier than I thought it was going to be. I thought this was going to be dangerous, but this is the easiest part of this entire challenge. I don’t know what to tell you guys. This is just too easy. This is the easiest way I’ve ever got blaze rods ever playing Minecraft. This like I didn’t even take a single bit of damage. And with how easy this mob farm was, it didn’t take me very long to get all the blaze rods I needed. So, I went back to the overworld to go to the end portal. Now, the plan to beat the ender dragon in a totally void end is to just get a bunch of slabs and we’re going to make a bunch of bridges inside of the end. Holy crap, guys. We’re actually doing this. We are We are seriously just about to go fight the Ender Dragon and beat the water block challenge. Months of work and 368 days into attempt number 10. This is it. This is the moment I’ve been waiting so long for. Hopefully, we don’t freaking die or something. Oh my gosh, guys. We have made it to the end portal. Dude. Dude, we’re so close. Oh my gosh, guys. Here we go. We’re going to light this thing up. And yeah, I’m so freaking excited. and nervous at the same time. Oh my gosh, guys. We’re doing this. Okay, I’m going to take a breath. I’m going to thank you guys for watching the video so far. You guys are awesome. And we are just going to jump right into this. And oh my gosh, we are finally doing this. I’m not even kidding. This has been months to get to this point. This is so exciting for me. Okay, I don’t have a lot of time, but the first thing I need to do is just tower up as high as I possibly can. Not as high as I possibly can. Probably like 128 blocks or something. So now, without the dragon knocking me off into the void, I need to build like a giant box all the way around these little end pillar thingies. Okay, so far so good. We got an entire perimeter surrounding the Ender Dragon. So now what we need to do is we need to get our bow and we need to shoot all of these end crystals. And the biggest thing with this is we need to watch the Ender Dragon. Make sure it doesn’t hit us off. This dragon doesn’t stand a chance, guys. Oh my gosh, we’re actually doing so freaking good already. Last end crystal. Boom. Nailed it. So now we draw our power five freaking awesome bow back and we shoot this ender dragon until it dies. Now because I’m so high up, this actually messes with the ender dragon or something and it has a really hard time getting to me. So if it does go toward me, all I have to do is just run away. Come on. Oh my gosh, I’m shaking. Dude, we are so close. One more hit and this dragon is dead and we can beat this one water block challenge. There it is. Oh, so close. Are you kidding me, dude? One more shot. Oh my gosh. Yes. Yes. Oh my gosh, dude. We freaking beat it. Let’s go. Yes. Hundreds of hours. I am not even kidding, guys. We beat the one water block challenge. We did it. We did it. Such an insane journey. I’m so glad you guys were able to be here for this. Oh man. Thanks for watching. You guys mean the world to me. And I’ll see you guys in the next video. [Music]

i don't think mudflap done this challenge. . .i don't think
you’re late
Bro the wandering trader had dirt you could've had more bamboo oh well
8:54 palms are sweaty knees weak arms are heavy vomit on his sweater already moms spaghetti
What the freak
I wish mojang could make it possible to get lava from scratch, why cant it be a rare trade from a wandering trader or something. Lava and end portal frames are the only items missing to beat the game if you spawn on a small 25×25 platform with nothing
Now do it without the water
10:46 set own gamemode to survival mode 💀
33:02 La-la-la-lava, ch-ch-ch-chicken
Steve's Lava Chicken, yeah, it's tasty as Steve
Ooh, mamacita, now you're ringing the bell
Crispy and juicy, now you're having a snack
Ooh, super spicy, it's a LAVA ATTACK!!!
38:29 so what happened to those stacks of fish in the beginning
Very impressive, but why did you kill the wandering traders? The one doing a block challenge I saw some weeks ago stored them in boats.
he Used cheats I was there for the live
BOOOM!❤
Common myth that saplings are more common by letting the leaves despawn rather than breaking them by hand.
Most here have no idea the amount of effort this took. This is an amazing feat! Great work!🎉
You finally got it uploaded! Let's gooo!!! Can't wait to watch the full thing! I watched a lot of your streams. 🔥🔥🔥
Epic bro!!!
I'm surprised you didn't save a piece of bamboo so you could grow more once you had something it could be planted on.
Couldn't you have made a simple raid farm for emeralds? Would have sped this up so much.
oh 12:40 NOW we are cookin!!!!!!!!!!! this is awesome! 13:43 AYAYA…… too close for comfort! 40:41 I think you have to destroy the wood first, and THEN the process of decay begins and releases saplings
We don't value dirt blocks enough. Shout out dirt blocks.
amazing video!
props for the dedication put into this achievement!
keep it up 🔥🔥🔥
That's pretty impressive. I don't think I'm patient enough for this. Very cool that you got it on your 10th try.
Bro that's amazing!! The patience of having to wait for stuff is wild
Shwep pls ultra hardcore
idk if he figures it out in this video (im still watching) but if you break down the tree and let the leaves despawn on there own it seems atleast to me when playing, the saplings will spawn more often. Even after years of playing skyblock, or one block things, If you mine the leaves, they dont seem to spawn to often. So never break the leaves. Just the logs. Let them despawn.
Bro's exp level 💀💀💀
first trader had sapling 😵💫
Wandering trader in a normal world: nothing
wandering trader in impossible challenge: most important thing
I want more of these challenges they are so fun to watch! love the videos.

37:27 spawndering trader
It's the same but a bit harder if you get string
