Exploring the NEW Update in Hardcore Minecraft 1.21.8 Forever World

I always find myself completing 90% of a project, seeing a squirrel, and jumping off to a new shiny project, which leaves some projects unfinished in the world. Today, I want to tackle as many of those as I can to finally check the boxes and remove them from the list of future Flips projects to do. We’re almost 100 episodes into the series and over 10,500 days survived, so I should really try to actually finish something. Let me know if I’ve missed anything down in the comments. Click the like button and please subscribe if you haven’t already. Getting started today, I’m not really in a spot to want to design a new build fresh off the bat to finish off the region. So instead, I want to jump out and just get into the groove by removing some terrain first by setting up a beacon. The river project is still very much a work in progress, but this blob here definitely needs to be removed since it’s almost finished. So, after setting up 20something shulker boxes, I started to just clear out the rocks and grass on top to bring the area down and turn it into more of a rolling hill space, too, as I want to smooth it out all of the train on this side before removing most of the mountains, which of course means I need to make quite a few trips back to the Shulker mess as I want to save most of the materials, leading to just over 2 hours of digging. And this area is pretty smoothed out into the rolling hills. Now, I’ve been doing some creative planning, figuring out what I want to do with the rest of this side, but we’ve got a good start here, and I definitely do not have time for that today. The goal of today is to do a bunch of small projects and finish things off. And nothing about removing a mountain is a small project in Minecraft. So, let’s clean up the beacon and move on for a bit. We do still have a little vanilla villager house over here that I would love to transform and keep in some regard on this side as I think it’s really cool having the whole village over there. And then one little hermit decided to hang out on this side of the river still. Oh, I do not want to forget that I’ve already cleared out quite a few shulker boxes of stone as this used to be completely full. So, I don’t mind too much filling this all back in with even more of them. And we’ll just fill this extra box off to clear some space. Okay. Yeah, we got a little bit of stone today already. Probably won’t need these shulkers again right away, but it’s probably smart to Ooh, grass is very full. Okay, I guess we’re dedicating one of these boxes to grass. But I was going to say it’s probably pretty smart to at least clear these things out for now. And oh, yep, we got a lot of dirt, too. Put the empties back here in the top of the starter house in the attic, and we’re off to the next project. I recently built up this Italian inspired coastal village, but I got so carried away with building new things that I forgot to build something very important. In every civilization I make in this world, I am adding a donkey way station as a way to show that we have some sort of transportation company kind of linking everything back together here. Thankfully, our materials for these I intended to be pretty simple. So, I need to throw a few blocks together to build up another one. We can start by grabbing another one of those empty shulker boxes, stripping down a few of our spruce logs, then going through the process of crafting down a few other spruce goodies. I might need to make some more, but I think in one of these boxes, I’ve kept a few extra of the Donkey Way station banners. I might have put them somewhere else. We’ll have to find that before we get building. Nope. No, no. Uh ah, I have two. Well, I had 17, but now I have two in my inventory. We need a few polished tough walls for some corners. And then I think I needed out of here a decent amount of deep slate tile slabs and a lot of cobbled deep slate slabs. And we can get ourselves some coarse dirt. And lastly, I’m just going to grab Oh, actually that’s the proper color right there. So, I guess we take these. Actually, I need it exposed. But weather’s going to do the trick. Last step before we go over, I need to make a quick trip down into the villager trading cave to visit the farmers. Trade some of our pumpkins away for new emeralds here as I want to buy some golden carrots that we can use to keep breeding up the donkeys as I am still trying to get the fastest possible donkey in Minecraft. Haven’t quite made it there yet. I have to fly past the donkey ranch here to get to the new way station location. We’re building all the way out there. So, I figured in the meantime we could breed up another donkey and see how we go. We got a 14.207 here. And our second fastest is 14.047. And we’re looking for 14.232. So, we are getting close. And 13.8. God dang it. Come on, buddy. Back in Nope. Back in your pen. And you can just keep the little baby. This is all just an absolute gamble. So, we might as well send a few of these guys since we’re over. Oh, I haven’t even tamed this one yet. 13.3. Dang it. Well, I guess that at least means I got two more donkeys that we can take out to the new way station. You know, I guess that I am over here right now, we might as well. Have I not tamed any of these? Come on, buddy. Out you go. Give them their chests. And it’s time to get to the new way station. We’ve got two fresh donkeys for the way station company to bring over to our new village to try and keep up with the idea of a connected world. I need to have some things that are similar across the different regions to show that the people in the world are also connected, too. We built up quite a few of these at this point, but it’s a very simple shack that doesn’t add a whole lot out of some noise of the donkeys as you travel along the roads and a banner to keep showing up everywhere for the company. But I really love being able to add them in. It might be extending over the road a little bit too much here, but I guess kind of curves that way, so it’s fine. But we’ve got our two new donkeys hooked up to their post, ready to go. We’ve got the banner in place, and things are looking really good here. I like this one. I think it’s a fun new addition to add into the world every single village that I make. Just something consistent that I just think it’s a cool point. It’s kind of weird being right next to the ruins, I guess, but I couldn’t really find another place in the village without just throwing it on the very far side where it actually worked adding it in here. So, I think it’s going to be fine right out here. I was planning to get working here on this part of the city. But, I recently updated my world to Minecraft 1.21.7. And I still have never seen the happy gas in survival. Actually, not even creative, just in videos people have posted. So, I thought it could be fun to go find one in the Nether. But I haven’t had a reason to go adventuring or exploring in a very, very long time in this world. So, it’s kind of fun to be able to do that. Oh, Nether fog’s back. A man. Okay, there we go. Much better. Still got a little fog. What? Yeah, really, really, really. I just got in here. I don’t think I’ve ever flown out this direction. So, we’re going to see if we can find a new soul sand valley over here somewhere. Thankfully, I have not explored much of the Nether. I just kind of stay in my safe bubble. So, we should get into new chunks very soon. And potentially already out here. Soul sand valley. No little happy gas, just angry gas. Nailed it. We’re looking for little sad boys. Any little sad boys around here? Maybe we need to go a little farther. Oh, wait. No. Oh, I picked up a gas here. I thought I just picked up a happy gas from killing a guest. Nope, not quite. So, I know that you can craft them, and I know you can trade for them with Piglin bartering, but that’s boring. I want to go on an adventure. I needed a good excuse to do this. I see one. There it is. We have our first happy gas. Well, whatever this thing is called. Dried gas. Uh, my little plushy. My little sad boy plushy. Oh, a second one. Question regarding the dried gas. If it’s raining, not that I really have that problem, but do they grow? Like, can they still hatch or do they specifically have to be in water? Hey, so there’s a treasure bastion right here. This could be kind of kind of free Netherite, maybe. Oh, ancient debris and pigstep. I don’t think I have that yet. Really got to learn these layouts a little bit better. I have no idea where all the loot chests are. Here’s happy cast number three. Dead cast number 10,000. Give or take a few. And happy gas number four. This one’s already flying. Okay, these are a lot easier to find than I was expecting. with the six that we have now. I think that’s pretty good to get started. I just need to find a way back home. Okay, I’ve gotten so incredibly lost out here. But I did find another two dried gas. So that’s absolutely awesome. I think I’m getting back close to home. Oh. Ow. Well, I’m just going towards 00 coordinates wise, and then I think I can find my way home from there. And hopefully we’ll see something soon. Yes. Yes. That’s a big open space. The perimeter, the tree. Oh, perfect. We are back home safe and sound. Now, I don’t think it really matters what water I put the dried gas in. So, we’re just going to head out here to the University Lake. And I’m going to drop four of them in here where hopefully they don’t suffocate against the mud. Oh, come on. Get a little smile. Get a little smile. I was putting everything back while the happy gas kind of rehydrate a little bit and turns out I did not have a pegstep disc. So, that’s kind of cool. Unless it was in here. No. Sweet. Brand new music disc. We’ll put in this one. While we’re waiting for the little guys to grow up, let’s grab a piece of purple wool, light blue, orange, and green. I haven’t unlocked the recipe in game yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s just glass and leather. Oh, saddles are craftable. Oh, and then it’s right there. Cool. So, we’re going to make all four different colors here because I can. And lastly, in here somewhere, apparently move them all. Where’s all my snow? Oh, I have snow blocks. No snowballs. Oh no. Oh snow. Sorry, that was really bad. I don’t have a fortune shovel, but we should just be able to use this guy. It has to be a shovel, right? It has to be a shovel to get snowballs. Things are going great today. Things are going great, right? Fully loaded up on snowballs here. And now we can just wait for these little dudes to grow. Any smiling faces? Still sad. Still sad. Slightly not sad. Content and sad. Can I snowball you here? Nope. Nope. I just threw a snowball to dried gas. Oh, oops. Oh my gosh, the first one. Hi, buddy. Oh, he’s so adorable. Have some snowballs. Let’s help you grow up a little quicker. It’s so cute. No, no, stay over here. Be my friend. Have all the snowballs you want. I’ve been sitting here for 20 minutes waiting for all of y’all to hatch. Hydrate. Hydrate. Hatch. I don’t know. Oh, big big guess. Uh, you can have the orange one. No. Get I see why these can be kind of problematic. If I do this and I land on top of him. [Applause] Okay, he’s kind of slow. Okay, I knew they were slow, but he’s slow. But he’s cute, though. Look at them goggles. Not even going to make it to the city before the sun sets. Oh, and he’s even slower in the water. Now, if I press shift, I just end up on top of him. Oh, that’s really nice. If I jump around, he doesn’t move. Oh, cool. Cool. Can I crouch over the edge? Oh, you can crouch. You don’t fall. Okay, that’s kind of nice. But I can’t place bed. Okay, that’s the big problem cuz now I need to go over here, place my bed, and sleep. And he’s off having a great old time. At least they’re lurable by snowballs, but I don’t want to keep one in my inventory. It also like moves your camera back in F5 cuz like here and then there. Yeah, look. It makes you so much farther out. I guess it’s so you can actually see around the dang thing. But oo. So, I’ll be honest. I have no idea what I want to do with Happy Gas yet, but I just thought they were cool and a new feature, and I wanted to check it out. And, you know, I still don’t know what I’m going to do with them, but I originally built this as like a dock right here for an airship, and I never built an airship, but we now have a happy gas. So, we can stand on him. We can do our building from our happy gas. Get our lead right here, take him, and just lead him to the fence post. And we now have an airship. Look at that. I finished the build up here. Yeah, you look so happy. Perfect. Yep. Now the build’s finished. Okay, maybe that would look a All right, we’re going to move him down. We’re moving him down to the edge here. [Music] Now, what do I do with the other three that I got? Do we just let him room free? I think we just let him room free for now. And he unrened, of course. Yep. Yeah. Right, right, right. Oh, a little guy. A lot of little guys. Are they all hashed? Oh, they’re so adorable. Why can’t they stay this size? Hey. Oh, I thought that would get their attention. Sorry. You want my snowball? I’m sorry I threw it at you. Here. You can eat that one. Oh, I just problem when they get slightly out of range. Hey, they’re all growing. Take the purple harness. See, they’d be so cool, but they’re so hard to work with. No. No. Get back. H. How do you catch them if you don’t have an elytra? Okay, there we go. There we go. All three of you can just roam free. You can just roam free across the world. I That’s fine. I guess technically they stay near where they spawn, so it can be like little gas floating above the lake. Okay, that’s kind of cute. We’ll find something to do with the happy gas later on, but for now I want to move on to building in the city. This open square near color storage has been a weird empty disconnect in my city that we’re going to fix today. Which means, of course, we’re off for a big session of resource gathering first. Starting with seven empty shulker boxes. First off, we’re flying north to the Mega Tiger, where I chop most of my spruce trees as I regrow them here in huge blobs of logs that are easy to strip and chop down as I need them. After a few days in the spruce forest, I spent another few days in the lumberm mill crafting things. Then a quick trip down into the sheep farm for some wool to make a few banners for decoration and another big section of gathering from chests and crafting down tons of things down in the quarry. Yeah, I go through these steps first usually so I can know what I have on hand already before I jump out in the world to craft and mine up even more stuff. A lot of materials I have, I’ve already built up good reserves of, so I might as well make use of them instead of always getting new stuff. Just like here in the foliage market, I need a few leaves and flowers that we can add for some pops of greenery to all of the different homes. Then back to my starter base still. For some reason, I store all my sandstone here. So, I grabbed a bit and threw some sandstone into the furnaces to restock on my smooth sandstone before moving on to craft down some different copper goodies and a ton of trap doors that I placed down on the city street to age. I also need some brown glass, so I did a quick harvest of the cocoa bean farm and then replanted everything to help gather up a little bit more as my storage was running out. A storage that is not running out, however, is dirt storage. I have so much dirt and grass on hand. So, I will probably never need to seek out gathering any of these things again. Really partially because I keep removing mountains instead of building them. So, I gather it faster than I use it. But, oh well. Onto the next item with a trip down into the villager trading cave where I picked up some pumpkins that I left in the farmer’s room to trade with them for some more emeralds. Then used all of those emeralds to buy bricks from the stonemasons. We’re on to the final items now as I need one sponge and and I need some pale moss. Then finally off to gather materials by hand as I need some black stone and unfortunately my piglin bartering farm still has none of it after the weather skeleton farm. So I found a blob of black stone along the perimeter for that farm and got to work gathering up a few extra stacks since I was already out here. Going farther out there, I flew across the desert into the mangrove swamp to fill up another shulker of mud as I have run out again. I only need a few stacks of packed mud for now. But future flip will thank me, so it’s worth it. And on the way back home, I realized that I needed some more tough still. So, I jumped into a cave and found a quick drop down into the deep layers, found a blob of tough, and cleared it out until my inventory was filled up. And finally, we have everything. All of the boxes are ready to go here in the city to get to work on transforming this upper square, minus this one trap door. Just need him to age. Ah, I just Okay, this second trap door I need to reage. Oh, man. Okay, wait. There’s a lot more up here. Oh, I have so many to age down. Well, I guess that means I need another distraction. So, it’s time to plant a field. Jumping back out to the dog brewery. If I have time for another small project today, I’m definitely adding a farmhouse out here because wow, we need it. As we are adding in yet another field to the catalog of fields in this world, just like this is another video to the catalog of my YouTube channel. And I definitely need more subscribers to keep it balanced out. So, click the subscribe button if you haven’t already. And we have another awesome potato field added in. [Music] Yep, that was probably one of my worst please subscribe jokes, but uh we’re we’re going with it. What is out here? These have been here for so Oh my Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Okay. That’s just We’re going to leave those there. Fast me. Definitely thought I should leave those there for something very important. Oh, and there’s Oh gosh, there’s just so many materials out here. I guess I really thought I was going to keep working on that space. Well, what I know I want to work on right now is the central plaza here. And it needs a mosaic of sorts in the middle. So, for our square, we now have a big circle in the middle. And I didn’t realize that right over here, we’re actually breaking into the glass storage room. I guess we have this wooden framing in here. So, it should be okay. We shouldn’t notice it too much. To rebuild the floor to walk on, I have designed a very noisy mosaic of a tree to sit in the middle. You can see here from ground level, it just looks like noise, but on the map right over here, it actually looks like a tree. And that’s awesome. Now, I know it is offc center from the color storage building here, but it’s actually centered on the square. So, I didn’t mess this one up. I actually messed that one up way long ago. The square is totally fine. It doesn’t bother me at all. No, not at all. Definitely not at all. Especially not at all when I add some noise around the road instead of just being our mosaic in the middle. And I think it helps blend things in a bit better. We got to keep it Oh, I missed slaps. We got to keep it going all the different directions up here as this one merges into our mud brick and kind of browner tones for the road for the side road. But then I add in a ton of dead coral along here too, which I think looks pretty solid. To go around the square, I want to add in a few details before we get to the houses, like this big birch tree to hide the ugly end of the stables. Adding a bit more here in front of the tree, I built a market stall. So, here we have Perry’s cheese shop right next to the plaza. And I really like all the leaf litter on the ground. Even threw a lot of the stuff in around here. Just throw different types of cheese. kind of copying what I did over in the village near the lake over on that side. But I’m pretty happy with how that came in here. Just really, really utilizing as much of the space as we can while still having a green strip behind it. Next up, I want to come over to this side and work on a brewery. Originally, this was going to be a theater of sorts, but I just don’t have the space for it. So, instead, we’re going to do the brewery here, and we’ll relocate the theater somewhere else. Now, I need to flatten this area out back here and uh relocate some friends as I want to create a bit of an outdoor tasting room, which I want to at least level for now before we start building up the actual structure, which will be along our little plaza we’ve made. Okay, those two are very annoying. Let’s get them out of there. Now, we can just lead to the boat and then I should be able to just hop and they will come up here as I can just dodge and weave. Dodge and weave. All right, through the creeper hole. And for now, okay. Yep. We’re just going to leave them right here. I’ll deal with you later. I’m done. This back here is going to be an outdoor seating area to hang with a little staircase you can take to get to a different district we’ll build eventually. But the main entrance will be through a building over here that I’ve also cleared out this space for and put the bottom layer of our dripstone in. As I was thinking for this one, we could work with some polished granite for the most part. And then our bricks throughout here. A little bit of a regular granite in for just that bit of texturing. And then we go back into that guy. And then I always like doing the wax exposed copper grits with this. I think it just blends in super well. And then for kind of the classic texturing that I’ve done through a lot of the city so far, we’re just going to be moving from that into some spruce trim for the next layers with just the slabs going in between. But on this one, I think I want to try sticking it out by two blocks just for the extra bit of fun and extra support underneath. We can add in some spruce fence gates to help that curve finish out a little bit more. This is looking really good now. Also going all the way around and we’ll have a big old chimney here out of our deep slate bricks going through the top of the building. But first, we need to throw up the walls on this structure to give it a bit more presence. I want a larger build here to really fill out the space. So, we’re going for three full stories and a few balconies for guests to sit at and overlook the city while they enjoy a cold bevy. This might be one of my favorite buildings in the upper half of the city. Now, I really, really am happy with how this guy’s turned out. We got a little balcony back there. We got the big old chimney up to the top. Even the small little market stall out in front where maybe they’re just selling to people on the street who don’t want to come inside. There’s another chimney along the back. And then we got our little light gray candles on top of the iron bars just for this whole roof coming together with all of the different gray tones. This side here is a little plain, but we’ll fix that up as we work on detailing the outdoor seating area in a moment. As first, I want to finish up what we have down here in the plaza. And for that, I want to make a cart. So, we’re going to be having a cart coming out right here. It’s going to be backed up right against these guys. I normally make all of my carts out of spruce, but for some reason, I was like, you know what? Let’s just run some dark oak on this one. What’s the worst that could happen? It’s just going to be a little bit of extra variety for us. I need to go find some rails to make these barrels look extra latched down here. But on top of that, we can just throw some of our dark oak signs in. And this can just be carrying a bunch of barrels that they may be filled up inside of our brewery here. And I think that’s pretty good. And then of course, we need a little hand cart to make it look like they’re trying to load the thing or maybe unloading. Not too sure. But that’s pretty perfect there. I like that a lot. I don’t know if it’s because I love the building or this was just such an eyes sore here that I just had been avoiding dealing with, but I’m very happy with it. Now, next up, I need to grab my soul lanterns, chains, and polished slabs as I want to bring all the way across here and get a little bit of lighting coming out the back. A little bit of mood lighting. Instead of regular lanterns, we’re going to do our soul lanterns just cuz I think it’s pretty fun. It’s starting to look a little bit better. Here we have a small bar area with a pizza oven and some greenery along the wall. And of course, the classic benches for everybody to sit at together while they enjoy some bevies. I believe it should be completely spawnproof up here between the lanterns and the candles. Maybe right over here isn’t, but it should be fine for now. We’ll fix it as the interior gets completed. I’m sure some light will bleed out, but that’s the entire brewery done. Before we move on to the next sections, I’m a little worried about back here. Yeah. Yeah. Where? Oh. Oh, we got a zombie in our redstone. That’s not good. I was hearing a baby zombie grumbling and hopefully he just disappeared. I really have been enjoying working on the city again. So, let’s continue on with a few more builds here before we jump on to do something else throughout the world. I first want to finish off the last building here around the plaza as a big diagonal building hovering over the archway so we can walk up underneath it farther up the street. That wraps up everything here in the little plaza with our tree on the ground. And oh my gosh, I just think this looks absolutely awesome. I really love the mangrove on this one. The back wall, you can see does not exist as we’ve got another building to go in there. But we’ve got our little archway. Hid some deep slate up there to make it a little bit darker as we’re moving throughout. And I think it’s really, really fun. This, you can see, is going to be dead coral coming up throughout here. And we’re going to work on this building as well as this one as behind the street here. Uh, it’s still pretty open. and just grass. And that kind of ruins the vibe looking up at our color factory, stained glass factory. What did I call that thing? I don’t I don’t remember. But I was thinking right over here, we could bring in another building going with some granite as well as terracottas for the base of it just because I think it’s going to be a pretty fun vibe. Now, to match it with our terracotta, I thought we could bring in some of that gray terracotta as it goes with the grout line in our brick. So, it kind of works together on those fronts. And then I’ve got this big old window right in here that I think is going to be pretty cool. We’re going to have a big door here that we’ll do a fun pop of color with. Maybe some like uh what doors do I have? I think I want to go with the crimson. I have two left over. Perfect. I’ve been really enjoying just the random pop of color at a doorway. I just think it’s really cool. So, that’s going to work out great here. I’ve got the diagonal portion in going around for the base. We’ll throw a big old chimney here out of some deep slate. And then around the back, we have this section where I thought we could turn it into a small little fountain at the base of the tower. with something like that. I don’t have a bucket on me, so we’ll get to that in a moment. But I was thinking we could take our light gray terracotta and how can I do this? I kind of want to make a fun design here where we have this like greenish bluey line coming in and swooping up. You can kind of see that curve in there. I think it’s super fun. And then we’ll go with our classic prismarine and prismarine brick. Throw in the little lever which fills it up with water and we can add a better frame in. Then a few flower pots around with just some bushes and stuff in it. That’s perfect. So, I kind of paused the recording off and on, so this time lapse is a little scuffed, but hey, we have a new house coming in along this back road that I really like. And right behind that, we have another house coming in with jungle as the main block for the walls. Both of these are looking pretty good along the back here. Really, really filling in the street along this side at least. We might rework the back edge of those, guys. I kind of left that as something to do for future me anyways. But I really am happy with how this one turned out here. And my favorite part, we just have to go to the street down below as this created a small space between the houses here that I was able to use to build up this small little cozy garden space for the residents who live in these different buildings to be able to hang out in or be able to look down in from their windows. as we have a way in here to this lovely interior and up here onto the balcony where this actually does have an interior and I did it myself. Okay, that was a long time ago though, but I’m still proud of me for it. This is like my favorite point of everything that I’ve built here in the city though so far today. This little view right here is just such a cool view. Okay, this view right here is also pretty sweet, too. I I’m a big fan of this one. I relocated the parrots here into the middle so that they’re kind of like sitting on the tree. Also being kind of like pigeons just in the middle eating scraps of cheese that have maybe fallen off of Perry’s cheese market stall thing over there. But this structure is kind of cut off on the corner as I want to throw two more in back here that’ll help just smooth out that corner to give us something and it’ll lead up to another roadway that’s probably going to run right along here to connect into the top as I’ve already kind of started that with this section here at the back of our color factory thing. So, we’ll have to do a lot of building out here and terraforming and landscaping just to make it all blend in together. But I’m really happy with how this has turned out here. As we move on from doing all of the exteriors of the buildings, I think we should also add in a few new interiors. We have over 100 builds in the city with many more still to go. And there is no way I can do all of the interiors myself in a reasonable amount of time. So, while we gather some materials here, I have uploaded a copy of this city to the Flip supporter server and have given members access to pick a building and make an interior themsel. After a trip out to the dark oak forest, I still have quite a few materials left to grab. So, I’m in the lumberm mill crafting down materials on the list to build up Ixie Pixie’s goldsmith, which is so very cool. This is a fun game for me as I get to run around the entire world and pick up all these different blocks from different spaces while trying to guess a little bit about what’s going to be used for in the interior space somebody built for me to add into the world. I’ve helped with the design process to guide people in the right direction and help improve their building skills throughout that, but for the most part, I’ve just left it up to people to do what they want. And boy oh boy, I’m happy I did that here with the goldsmith as we are finally placing down the blocks and putting this thing together. And it’s an absolute headache of different materials, but Ixie Pixie did an awesome job with creating a really sweet environment to be inside with a forge, shop, and living area all crammed in the building. [Music] Right down here around the corner, we did have a creeper explosion in the process, and I still need to get some dye on these signs and fix up the banners. But this thing is looking so sweet. We’ve opened up the floor right in here to get down into the actual forge area itself down below, which is looking so absolutely awesome. There’s a ladder to go up there, but it’s just so cool being able to see that. I never even thought about doing that, and it’s so perfect. Then inside of here, we’ve got a very, very fancy floor, and we still need to fill in all of these points with some more goodies on armor stands inside of the glass to make that feel even more alive, too. But it’s looking really, really cool in here so far, even without those extra details in the display cases. We’ve got another forge over here to kind of heat up this area. And then we have the living quarters going up to the top where we’ve got a little bit of an office section in this point. We’ve got the kitchen where they have so many different herbs and things growing all over the place, which is looking so very fun. A cake, another fire for cooking on top of, and then the third floor where we have a bath. And above the bath, we have access into a small little cramped attic for some storage up there. Then right next to the bath, we have a room for some kids with their rock, Mr. Pebble, and some art installations. And then the actual goldsmith’s bedroom right back over in here, which is looking super cool. Now, even though they did the entire design process, it still took me almost 2 and 1/2 hours to build this thing. It took absolutely forever, but it’s so so very cool. And I would like to do one more today. I’m thinking this one right here as it’s something that we can see inside of would be a really really cool build to have added in. An hour later, we have all of the items ready to go for the workshop. Shulker boxes are now empty, which means we have an interior ready to go. This is Nova’s proper copper work shopper where on the inside it’s a copper workshop that is so so very fun with all the different items around. Pretty much one of everything when it comes to all of the copper goodies that we have in the game. And we’ve got a big old forging smithing area here in the center. And you can see some shipment details ready to go out to different areas that might be throughout the world. I don’t know. I do love the story that it tells of being a functioning copper work shopper. And then up here, we’ve got a little kitchen living space right over there. And back around here is just a little bit of storage and decorative areas. And then around the corner to this side, we have the bedroom of whoever runs the workshop, which is pretty cool. And they didn’t make me build an attic, so it’s great. Absolutely nothing goes up there. So, I saved a ton of materials. I am very, very happy to be able to look at this without the mess of Shulkers in front and just see more life along the edge of the city street. And more importantly, being able to walk by and see inside and see more things going on. It’s just so so cool being able to get interiors added in. Now that we’ve done some work around the city, I’d like to revisit the flying marshmallows. For this, I’ve been wanting to add more farm houses to the area around the dog brewery to the east. So, I thought we could add a new road in here for a new house with a happy gas is like an airship tied to it. The road is in place, but I do unfortunately need to put a few blocks together to be able to build the dang thing. So, I’ve got to go pick those up real quick. So, it’s probably going to be another trip to every single one of the storage rooms. I have everything together for this build minus one acacia log. Oh, what happened to my skin? Ah, why did I turn to Alex when I went to the Nether? Wait, why am I still Alex? Ah, we so back. All of that to jump out here for what? I’ll chop the whole tree at least. I already have an established style out here in this farming region, which I really enjoy still. So, I set up my mess of Shulkers along the new road. Getting right into the work, we have a tough platform as the entryway into the house. The whitewash walls are going around the entire thing and a new tower on the outside to reach the happy gas we’ll add in here. Inside of the building, I’ve even thrown in a pretty simple interior space for us with a small kitchen and eating area and just a bed hidden right behind this little fake wall. But across over on the far side, we have the happy gas tower where you can jump on the happy gas. And it’s pretty dark up here. There’s no light sources. So, I brought up some brown candles that we can just slab in right there. Now I just need to grab one of the three happy guests that I left over here earlier. And I believe I can just land on top of them. Oh, I kind of like that. Oh, that’s fantastic. And now we just fly all the way back over so slowly. Not even going to make it there before the sun sets. Still going. Barely halfway. I guess I can at least test to make sure that this is a safe space to be in. Let’s see if I jump off right here. I have a lead already. Lead him. Jump down here and attach to the fence. Perfect. This could honestly be a really good starter base for a Happy Gas to be able to transport around cuz you just run inside and go to sleep. Okay, I kind of love that. This space out here needs a little bit something more to it though, which I think a few birch trees along the road could fix. One right here next to the house and two set away gives a really good vibe. I love the opening that we get between them. Instead of just a big blob of green, it feels like three unique elements between our house, that guy, and that guy, and just this right here is a really cool view. Anyways, regardless, there we go. Landscaping, donkey way stations, happy gas adventures, and a ton of work done within the city, the brand new house right here behind me for our happy guest to live in. And he looks very happy. Yeah, definitely happy. That’s all I’ve got time for today. I hope you have enjoyed today’s episode doing a ton of tiny projects. 1. Hey fwhip why don't u make a burned forest biome which u can make by using basault as burned logs and gray concrete for the burned grass or land

  2. just an idea for the river: you can make a cave between the two mountains on top of the river so the river goes through the cave the benefits are that first you don’t need to mine two entire mountains and second is that a river cave can be a very cool and beautiful place

  3. for the happy ghast, aiship is a cool thought, you can make a little airship garage thing to store them so they arnt constantly flying around and using up leads. or like finish building a big blimp airship and inside are ht ehappy ghast as like the mini ships?

  4. You could do a happy ghast ranch or outpost—sorta like the dragon housing(?) How to Train Your Dragons. (It's been a while since I watched the movie.)

  5. Happy Ghasts are perfect for detailing the exterior of a mega build, or the underside of a floating build 🤓 almost renders scaffolding useless, but it's still good for the hard to reach spaces of interiors 🤷

  6. You should add Distant Horizons to your game, just so you get to see really really far :3

Edit: Side note, that wasn't a baby zombie, it was your birbs!

  7. Ive been watching the whole series the last 2 weeks what am i suppose to do now that i have to wait for new episode? 😢

  8. I think you should add more basements to the buildings in the city, it really helps tie the realism together and it makes it feel more crowded which I think is really cool.

  9. 11:20 a nether lab experimenting on happy ghasts maybe? or maybe an overworld lab attempting the same- things like 'reactions to water' and with a cold-storage section where the dried ghasts are being kept.

Maybe they're bredding and producing and selling out the happy ghasts to the different nations and towns- and that gives you an excuse to build floating docks and such for them! helps spice up the world

  10. A small build and lore idea for fWhip: Maybe there are a group of monks that worship the world tree. But instead of living in a monastery build by the tree, they live in hobbit-style homes to get closer to the tree and care for it from the roots.

Also I love all the ideas and builds you have and they inspire me to improve.

  11. I have a bunch of load stones, 1 for my main house and 1 for my nether, I can't beleive your hardcore world is so epic!!!! Anyways yeah I've found 3 treasure bastions in my world but not a broken nether fortress with warts 😢

  12. i don't remember what the plans were for the large empty space near the lake (i'm pretty sure it's behind the university? i think?) but it could be cool to have a small study shack/cabin where students could study the biology of the happy ghasts that inhabit the area around the lake. It could also double as a house for someone who takes care of the happy ghasts!!

  13. 1.21.8? Didn't you mean 1.21.6? That is Chase the Skies update.
In 1.21.8 was (will be) added Copper Armor, Tools and so on.

BTW always glad to see ur world growing. I like it!

  14. This is a few videos late, but I think the resin flag on the ship in the harbour could be a good candidate for the Tuscan inspired places, since you said you didn't think the ship fit the dwarven style.
