Modded Monday – Nevermind, going back to Lilybrook! Lol! [2] | Stardew Valley 1.6
Hello everyone and welcome back to the Startard Valley. I was going to say Story of Seasons. Um, hi. I know I’m a little late. I was uh doing a lot of things. I’ll just say that on very short time constraint. And when I sent my emote in the chat, I was like aggressively eating three tacos as fast as humanly possible. I only ate two, so I still have another one to eat here during stream. Um, but yeah, was pretty intense. I So, we’re going to chill for the first five minutes because I have to go take something out of the oven in five minutes. Um, so we’ll use this first couple minutes to just uh what’s it called? Just chatting. So, I see that there’s been some usual XP battles happening in chat since I uh got well, since I since whenever you guys showed up, honestly. And Hero has YouTube Premium Plus Ultra. And yeah, Fay, I was not actually able to read the last message you had sent me. So, whatever you want to share here, that’s totally fine. Um, I did kind of catch up on chat a little bit like as I sat down back and forth between turning on the computer and opening up the game and going back and forth. So, yeah, it’s crazy. But, we’re here and we have some still Lily Brook. I I wasn’t able to add the mod I wanted to add. So, we’ll do that next week for the last uh part of this modded Monday, which I’m just going to take a little break from modded Monday for maybe like a week or two. um or until right right before uh Grand Bazaar comes out. So, if I’m not ready, it’s all good. No, it’s okay. I just have to take I was I decided to make some uh baking some baked items while cooking. And if you’ve ever tried to cook dinner and bake dessert at the same time, it’s incredibly stressful. And the last time I did that was for Thanksgiving when I not alone, I should add. There was two other people. Uh, literally cooked all day from like 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Every dish imaginable, including a turkey for Thanksgiving, which I’d never done before. So, yeah, cooking and baking at the same time is really difficult. But cerly taco eating contest win, I don’t know if I would survive, honestly. It was pretty difficult. modded Monday cancelled. It’s not cancelled. It’s temporarily suspended. I think there’s a big difference. So, but hey, you know, if not probably the week after just to take a break cuz like not that I don’t like streaming on Mondays, it is just a little like something I’m actually starting to get used to it, which is a good thing. Um I don’t have to like remind myself. I do have to change some of my task management things because they tell me to it tells me to schedule my stream today when I’m actually supposed to be streaming. So, I need to actually I should honestly schedule my stream for on Saturday or the next week. It would probably be the best honestly. Oh, okay. That sounds awesome. I mean, that’s a lot of good things happening in like the right direction. So, hopefully with getting approved for the medical card, you’re able to um get it, use it to get the antibiotic cream. I’m assuming that, you know, the doctors at the hospital, they should be able to prescribe you, from personal experience, they should be able to prescribe you stuff. You’ll just have to make sure that it’s covered. So, I guess there’s that weird sort of, you know, getting approved and then kind of waiting. So, hopefully you’re able to get that quicker quicker than you want. Honestly, indefinite hiatus. Hey, you know what? I used to stream on Mondays. It was like a year ago, but it doesn’t mean if it’s a hiatus, it’s just a hiatus. If it comes back in 2026, it comes back in 2026. So, we’ll see. But five minutes telling us no more modded Mondays. Not like a tip video or anything like that. I want to do like a year in Grand Bazaar, cut it down to an hour like I did my Stardy Valley video. Those take forever. Hero changes his name all the time. Has like four different names. I have to keep in check in my brain. I see it on Twitter, see it on YouTube. But it’s okay. Like even just last week, I think we were talking about Sir Nerdley’s previous username, which is not coming to my brain right now. I think it was like I remember it was another pun, another play on words of some sort. Yep. It’s not going to come to me. I can I can confidently tell you guys I have been Skippy and I’ve probably said this before. I’ve been Skippy since I was literally like 5 years old. So Skippy is me. It transcends past just a humble username. So I understand John John as hero is the persona and John John is the real person. I guess I could go over here. So let’s since I didn’t add a new mod like I wanted to but I made some really great dessert that unfortunately you guys cannot share with me which it had to be done. Let me just be real here because the stuff that I used, it was starting to go. If I didn’t do it now, I wasn’t going to do it later and and it’s just a waste. You know what I mean? Anyway, um Oh, yeah. Wait, wait, wait. I wanted to move this. I I’ve spent a couple days uh without you guys watching me play this. So, obviously, it’s spring and I have a few things I’ve been doing in this game. Miss Nerdley says, “My farm is impressive.” Thank you, Miss Nerdly. I actually like really enjoy the aesthetic features that I’ve been adding cuz which is like why I have like no money in this game. It’s year two and I only have 400,000. That’s like so low for me in the way that I play. And it’s because I’ve I’ve just got a very very chill. My my gameplay this year around is very chill. So following up on some things that I like to do and obviously I have Starter Valley expanded and uh couple of cute mods or whatever. So the cute mods, they changed some of the farm buildings like the chicken coop, the barn in my house. And same with the uh whatever that is, the stable, the silo, you know, it’s just got some extra stuff on it. And then these I absolutely love these hedges. I wish they were in the base game. They make such great like uh fences. They’re so cute. I just love it. Like it just I I I can’t explain it. I just love it so much. And then obviously, like I said, I’ve been I added this pathway um during, you know, whenever you guys were last here because I uh obviously became spring and then I got this going. It sucks because I can’t tell that lamb. So it kind of makes me mad. And then there’s something I was going to do with beehives. I just I’m going to be honest, I do not remember. And there’s so much land over here, too, that I need to just figure out. So, my goal is to make this a very pretty aesthetic looking uh farmland besides my little trash area. Very ear very early on, I found the trash can alleyway or not that one. Um, yeah, the alleyway buffet book. And no, it wasn’t that. It wasn’t that book. No, you guys know what I’m talking about, though. It was like the the thing where you can pretty much spawn the decoration and I decided to bake like I don’t know just a little kind of rundown area bottom of my farm by this pond. Um but yeah, so I appreciate it cuz I put a lot of work into it and obviously over here I plan on making it like a big old machine station, but I am missing a lot of machines. So that is a work in progress. I don’t know what else I could get from Mr. Robin. An anchor, but I don’t really have anywhere to put it. Not really the vibe of my house. I’m going to buy it. Okay. All right. Now, let’s go put down that tree that I have in my pocket. Yeah, the hedges actually stay. They’re permanent. They are definitely permanent. And okay, Fay. Yeah, if you lose signal, whatever. Just come back when you can. That’s okay. Get that water. It’s very important. And as for the dessert, it is a uh I had fruit. So, I had strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries from like last week. and they were getting like really really on the on the end of their life. You know, the raspberries, surprisingly, if you’ve ever bought raspberries from the store, they don’t last for anything. But these ones actually did, uh they were probably in the best health. And the strawberries were really like getting to that point where they’re kind of starting to get not mushy, but kind of squishy, but they’re really sweet. So, kind of like a good time to use them. Anyway, I chopped everything. I chopped up those strawberries, mixed it all together, added some sugar and some stuff, and I topped it on top of a pie crust that I made. And then I made little uh You know what? I’ll take my best one and then I’ll post it to Twitter later tonight so you guys can see it. You know, oh, you know what? Maybe I can find a Stardy Valley counterpart and then I can like make it like an official YouTube post even though that’s was not my intention at all. Is that is that like bad lying? Like how bad is that? I don’t even know what it would be cuz I don’t have anything unlocked. Where’s all my Ah, there we go. Ah, okay. So, it’s like a berry pie basically. That’s what it is. Organic overgrown section to enjoy. It’s minimalistic. I kind of dig it. Yeah. I like that’s kind of like just in general like how I’m going with some parts of the farm. I want it to remain very minimalistic and I love tea. Actually, I should eat one of those later with a cup of tea. I think that would be super delicious. Yeah, I made a fruit berry pie, but I put them in a uh um a cupcake tin like so there’s 12 of them. Little tiny little tiny pies. So, try and monetize my baking. Well, you know, I actually don’t get any money from making posts like on the community section. And they only go out to people that are already subscribed. So, it’s already people that have probably watched me. So, I there’s like no value in me doing that besides just uh helping engagement um and keeping things fresh. It makes me not sad, but questionable when I post something and it gets like five likes and I’m just like uh especially when early on I was doing those polls for uh a wonderful life and I had like thousand votes. I’m like this is great. I mean obviously voting is different than just posting something but it’s it’s the engagement I crave. And you guys for my next video I am going to work really really hard for click-through rate. So, it’s going to be Where am I going to put my anchor? I’m going to work very hard for clickthrough rate. I can put it right there. Oh my gosh, it looks so cute. It doesn’t match, but it looks so cute. Big brain. Yeah. I mean, I I actually at the last minute I was like, do I just put this in a normal, you know, pie container or do I do the little ones? And I was kind of worried about my pie crust because I I did that first and I was letting it rest and then um like I said, I was worried because I’m like I’m always worried with when it comes to flour because I find like whenever I make pizza dough, it’s always dry. I feel like I’m too uh conservative with adding water because then it gets too sticky and then I’m like, “Oh my god.” Or I don’t need it long enough and then I’m like too impatient. My brain’s kind of on like overdrive mode right now. Um when I was playing you guys last time, I got this holy blade at the mines and it’s not as good as my Galaxy Sword obviously. I mean I I mean to to be fair it it has a lot of hats like attributes. It’s got slime slayer and crusader. I don’t remember what crusader does, but I think it’s pretty good. I actually kind of wanted to see if taking Lily Brook off was going to break the game, but like I said, I kind of um Why did I come to glance? My brain is not on not on point right now. Oh, I should buy that rear seed, though. I will do that. Okay. Well, I didn’t get what I needed. That’s okay. It’s so crazy like just how Stardy Valley expanded like it just alters the game. So, that is what I am going to do. Oh, and you know what? After today, I’m going to take a very brief intermission. I have to go put up something real quick. And no, it is not my delicious dessert, which I’m going to be honest, I don’t know how if it’s good or not. I I think it’ll be fine, though. I think it’s going to be really good. I mean, I don’t do videos like that, but it would be kind of funny if I did a 20-minute video ranking everyone’s outfits in Stardy Valley from spring, summer, fall, winter, and then overall have an overall placement thing is is like would anyone watch that? Also, I did want to come over here. Let’s not get crazy. I was going to do something. Okay. I don’t know if I I’m going to start a goal, you guys, but we don’t have to do it. There we go. I think that would that kind of title would work really good with mods as well, too. which is kind of like, like I said, why I’m kind of trying to bring modded Monday into back into the realm or really just start it. That way I can like bridge this gap. Yeah, it’s the goal. I thought about it the other day and I was like, “Oh yeah, I’m going to do that again.” And and then just now when I did it, I almost backed out, but I was like, you know, I’m just going to set it. I don’t really care. You’d be so good at marketing, sardly. I think so, too. It’s crazy how like when you look at a lot of things, they just work. Like certain things work. And I’ve watched plenty of videos about how to make good thumbnails, how to, you know, do all that crazy stuff. And a lot of it’s pretty helpful. Some of it Eh, I mean, I guess it works. Some of the things they change and evolve over time. All right, let’s fix this bridge. All right, let’s see. I was like, why can’t I pick it up? I also wasn’t fully looking at the screen though either, so that might have had something to do with it. Oh, I should see if it pops up better. So, I actually kind of updated my uh alerts. I had a sleepover and it was neat. I uh had the sleepover. I got my nails done. That’s not something I normally do. Not acrylics, just like painted, but with like fancy nail polish and all that. and they came out really good. So yeah, the weekend was fun. Just really busy. Lots going on, but it was good. Do I say for sir sir Nerdley’s question, do I say soda or pop? I say soda now. Um when I was little, I used to say pop based on where I had grown up. So you could take that for what it’s worth. But I definitely say soda now except there are a few there are a few types of soda that I will say. Um, so for instance, well, hold on, hold on. I I want to let me let me see where this particular soda is from and then I will decide whether to share that information if uh Rome doesn’t freeze out on me. Okay. Okay. Unfortunately, I’m not gonna say the name of the soda. It’s like an off-brand soda, but I would say that that I still say that soda’s name with pop on the end of it because that’s like how I said it growing up. Like you literally like get off the plane if you fly to Vegas and there’s slot machines at the airport like all over the place. Not not as much as like a casino there would be, but they have them in almost every area where you’d like sit and wait for a plane. So that way if you’re waiting for a plane, you could just get up and go gamble. It’s so crazy. It’s like really surreal, but it it’s so much fun going to Vegas. And there’s plenty of other things to do in Vegas, too. Like gambling when I had went there, it was only a small portion. Usually just did it at night, you know, like midnight or 1:00, you know, before you actually go to bed. But it’s it is something else. I think if you like slot machines you and other like kind of neat stuff, you’ll like it. You pay too much attention, Fay. Yeah, you don’t want that to happen. It’s actually crazy because if you think about like places like Mumble, TeamSpeak, they’re like they’re well known enough, especially TeamSpeak, but TeamSpeak more so like more from what I knew in the gaming community, but now with how social media acts, like you have places that they’re businesses and they have Discord servers, it’s just crazy. So, I had tried and failed to port forward myself to make like a Minecraft server. When we used Mumble, one of the people in my friend group was paying for the Mumble server and like they also well, someone in my group literally had enough stuff to run like his own server. It wasn’t like how it is now where you can just kind of buy a server online and just have it. It was a little bit different back then. And then um we also had like a Minecraft server as well too which is probably like running on like the similar things because it was around that same time. So ye olden days of tech where things were considerably a lot harder than they are now. Though not as hard as writing letters. I think I’m just going to sell most of this stuff. Ah, refreshing. I when when was I I I didn’t even I didn’t speak to anyone with like microphone really until I was probably like 16, 17. So like at that point it kind of got a little bit more. But like I will say like I did use like MSN Messenger to talk to people that I had met online through like some games and stuff like that. And I’m very fortunate that you know from the people that I did remain staying friends with and that I I cannot recall ever meeting anyone that made me feel uncomfortable or like nothing bad ever came from it. I was pretty lucky with that. The people I was actually meeting were actually children like myself. But it is kind of crazy. An explosion was her night. I I had so my MSN I only added people that I had already been talking to a lot on a certain game and most of them I didn’t I was still pretty cautious. I want to say I only from when I was young like 13, 14 and 15 I only added maybe three or four people from games that I add that I had played. Um, which like I said, you know, actually all of those people that I can recall adding, I still talk to in some capacity to this day. So, it’s nice and fun when it’s all fun. I remember too like when cuz a lot of the people that I initially met I talked to them through YouTube. Does anyone remember private messaging on YouTube? Cuz I do. And I plan on cutting them up into spears and putting them in my already ready pickle juice. I’m going to watch a video because I saw someone do it, but I’m going to watch a video on it cuz it’s empty. It’s just pickle juice and I want to see if I can just pickle them, make more pickles with my already made my storebought pickle juice. If not, then I’ll just eat them as, you know, as that. That is going to happen um for sure in the next coming few weeks cuz Grand Bazar comes out in like wait a month. Just less than a month, like 30 days technically because there’s 31 days in July. I have already confirmed with certly streaming uh streaming league on a Wednesday in August is going to work out well. I will make sure that we we have it ready to go. Meant to lure the weak. I have some boxes and emotes to open that I uh were was saving for whenever I stream. So, I need to open those. So, if you guys know anything about League, think about what you want me to do. H what technique? It’s just jungle. Jungle’s like, well, I guess everyone plays jungle a little differently depending on the character and whatnot. And it’s usually the people that are doing bad, like really bad, and then complain about it. But yeah, so we’ll see. I’ll probably I’ll try probably try playing what I’ve been trying to play is Amumu in jungle sometimes by and then I’ll bought like either Karma or um Caitlyn. Maybe I’ll try playing Caitlyn because I actually I I think I will try playing Caitlyn and Lee because I have uh I actually bought the Commander Caitlyn skin like when it came out, right? Like I was so like just out of like watching the beautifulness that is Arcane and I was like I want that and I already had like 2,000 like riot points or whatever and I was like that’s mine by and now it is mine and it’s it’s a really nice skin. So yeah. Dang, guys. getting me hyped up for League. Maybe we’ll do it sooner. I don’t know. We’ll see. I’ll check with the nerdly to see if they’ll be available to watch. Otherwise, what’s the point? Just kidding. But that is the main point. Oh, you have the Jinx skins. That’s cool. I don’t have any of the Jinx skins. I missed out on when Arcane first came out. I missed out on the free Vi and Jinx skins. I was so bummed. And then later on I went back and I bought the Vi skin. So I have the regular Arcane Vi skin and then I have the Commander Caitlyn skin. Um I don’t have any of the Jinx skins. I don’t play her. I haven’t played her in years. I used to play her a long time ago cuz I remember when she launched and that’s like right around the time that I started playing League is when like Jinx launched and it’s been a long time since I played Jinx. But she is fun. She is fun to play. It’s really not fun to go against when they’re have like attack speed, attack speed, attack speed, attack speed, and damage. Not fun. But all right, guys. I’m getting kind of hyped. Anyway, okay. Thank you guys for being here. Thank you, Hero, of course. Um, thank you everyone else who’s here and hanging out and having a good time playing some Modest Stardy Valley.
