Building a DESERTED ISLAND in Minecraft Build Battle

Today, Brick and I are going headto-head in a build battle to see who can build the best deserted island in Minecraft. We’re going to build 10 different water themed things, like a working water slide, a water bottle factory, and even someone drowning. Yeah. At the end, all of our builds will be pasted onto a final deserted island. You guys are going to rate our final islands on Instagram and Discord, and the loser donates $1,000 to Team Water, a giant charity collaboration with Mr. beast, Mark Robber, myself, and almost every other YouTuber you can think of to raise $40 million to give clean water to millions of people. But more on that later. Oh, and we’re going to start. We only have 30 seconds to build a kitty pool. Okay, I’m going against brick, so this should be easy. Oh my god, time is ticking so fast. Wait, okay, I didn’t realize only 30 seconds. I’m already down 20 seconds. How am I supposed to build a kitty pool? This is so bad. Okay, just fill it with water so it looks real. Armor stand. Steve head. Oh, there we go. Oh, we got a kitty poo. Okay, I only got one eye. I only got one eye on my flamingo. All right, let’s see. What is that? A flamingo? Yeah, it is a flamingo. You’re actually But uh I ran out of time, so it only has one eyeball. Honestly, that’s pretty good. This is mine. I added some armor stand so there’s like people chilling in it. Okay. You know, I like the people design. All right, that’s a good start. It wasn’t a lot of time, but as we go on, every stage is going to have more and more time. All right, stage two is a water well, and we only have 1 minute. Okay, we have 5 seconds to grab our stuff. water well. I need a fence. Oh, a cauldron. That would be great. Cobblestone, water, um, vines. There we go. Okay, let’s start building. The one I’m thinking about is like a Minecraft water well in a village. So, let’s build up this. Oh, I don’t know what to do. I should be able to beat Brick, though, cuz he’s really bad at building. Spam my mouse for my life. Uh, okay. Yep. That looks good. We got to speed build all of this cauldron. Let’s add a water. Oh, I want water in there. Okay, there we go. I want to trap doors. We only have 10 seconds. Oh my god, time goes by so fast. Axelottle in there. Bucket, some vines, and then uh fences around it. Some levers. A lantern. Lantern. Oh, wait. Wait. I kind of cooked. This guy is absolutely about to get decimated. Okay, time’s up. Come check out mine. Oh yeah, I cooked. Okay, I’m coming. I added some levers up here for like little design, some trap doors, you know, some detail. I had a slight different approach over here. Yo, what is that? It’s a well. It’s a well, bro. So, look, we got, you know, it’s, you know, built up walls of cobblestone and, you know, at the bottom, you know, we got some gold. Oh, wait. That’s kind of That’s kind of a good addition. Why? Why is there an axelottle drowning and stuck in the well? This guy built a sewage. It said a well. Well, I don’t know what a well is, but this build battle is to help promote Team Water, a charity with all of your favorite and biggest creators in the world to raise $40 million to give access to clean water to millions of people. We have more time this time. But why why is our theme drowning kid? That is so funny. Oh, that’s not fun. I get some buttons. Actually, that would be perfect for nipples. Let’s start here with the the purple. Okay, maybe I should make like a little life raft thing. Okay, so that makes sense why this is underwater. This is going to look so stupid. Why Why are we building this? The head will be sticking out of the water. His arms up. He’s struggling for his life. Um, I do have world edit, so I can use that as well, but we don’t have a lot of time to use it. So, trying to build it really quickly here. Okay, this is going to be the face. Here’s his eyes. Let’s add a sad face like he’s scared or something. There we go. That looks like a sad creeper. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This looks like Cookie in my opinion. Do I have enough space for eyeballs? Y’s hair. I’m going give him a big unibrow, too. Why not? He looks like a villager. This guy looks like he’s like a finance bro. He’s even got a receding hairline all the way back here. Let’s make it uneven. I want to make like a speech bubble. So like that. Yeah, that’s good. That’s good. Help. No can swim. Let’s try to give him like little stubble on the top of his head. Okay, now. Let’s grab some red concrete like this. So it’s that’s inside of his mouth. And oh yeah, all the decades of building in Minecraft is has come to this to build a drowning kid. Okay, you know what? Let’s give him a diamond earring. This guy’s dying in style. Let’s give him a gold one on this side. Oh, yeah. This guy’s got this guy’s got style. I only have a minute. Oh, this is getting rough. Okay, let’s add the life raft. So, right behind him, he can literally save himself, but he doesn’t know that there’s like the floating device back here. We have 30 seconds. Um Oh, wait. Hey, I wanted these for nipples. Oh no, I can’t put nipples down there. No. Oh, only 30 seconds left. Okay, you can also show that I’m drowning as well. You know, got to have the quality going. Need a sign for myself. I only have 30 seconds. Um, help. Am drowning, but am also super buff. Let’s give signs. Sign signs. Quick, quick, quick. 10 seconds. 10 seconds. Um. Um. Oh, that’s a nipple. Okay, let’s add another one. Let’s make this one big. Oh yeah, that is a top tier build in my opinion. That is my drowning kid. Oh yeah. All right, I’m coming to you. Yo, you built yourself. I am drowning as well, you know, but I, you know, the huge muscles going on, of course. Here’s my little speech bubble showing I’m drowning. Wait, the speech bubble is so good. It says, “Help. Am drowning, but also super buff and super swag. Swaggy like no tomorrow.” Right here, we got you. Wait, why am I so orange? You’re yellow. Oh, wait. True, true. I am Asian. What is my speech bubble? Help. No can swim. So yeah, you got the big alien eyes. I got the I got the little slits going on. This is my drowning guy. Oh, what is this? What’s on his head? Are these warts and moles? Got a receding hairline. He’s got a little stubble on his head. I gave him a fat unibrow. I gave him some swag, like a gold earring, a diamond earring over here. You come down here. Here’s a special touch. I added some nipples. Okay. Why are the nipples so vastly different? This is a wide nipple. This is just a an O. I don’t know. How do we even do that in Minecraft? I might have to bust out the world edit for this one. Instead of actually sliding on water like this, cuz it’s so slow. What if I do that? And you can actually ride a mine car in the water. Will that work? Wait, let’s get some powered rails like this. Bang. Can we ride in the water? Wait, you can. Oh my god, you can. My theory works. Wait. Oh my god. Wait. This is actually Okay, I’m so winning this. That is so smart. I can literally ride. Make it nice and tall. And let’s just get it going down. Get a little curve going onto it. This is the entrance to the water slide. Let’s add this as the floor. Let’s add a red line. That will be like where you cannot step. Oh, Brick is not going to expect this. He’s going to be blown away, I feel like, once he sees my insane minecart idea. Fill it out with water. It’s going to get a little messy here. There we go. Let’s start it off with some railings here. Let’s make it stick out of water just a little bit. So, like we can have a little starting area. Oh, wait. I got to make a way to get up here. All right. Uh stairs. Um we’re using brick stairs. Of course, no other better stairs. Let’s try to lift it above so we can get some elevation on this water slide. I want it to be a scary one. I got to make sure I test this, too. So, let’s just hop on and uh get on. Will I make it through this corner? I will. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, I’m a genius. Okay, got the stairs going. Let’s add some uh support beams like that. Probably necessary. Mr. 500 lb over there steps on here. Now, we’re going to get up here and it’s going to dip back into the water. Kind of like a real water slide. Extra water on the slide. I don’t want to hit your head anywhere. Oh yeah. Okay, that’s looking pretty good to me. Now, let’s get some some boats going. Oh, yeah. Let’s test it out. Oh. Oh, okay. It works. It do be working. Now, let’s continue building the water slide. Let’s make it curve. Let’s make it drop super fast. Oh, yeah. Let’s start off with the pool. We’re going to get another one in here. It’s going to work. We have 5 minutes to make it into a reality. This might be a smaller one, but it’s going to work. Spam blocks everywhere and and it kind of works. Cookie taught me that. Oh my god. God, I’m actually cooking with this. Let’s make it go back up again. And another big drop. Bang. Yep. That looks like a good support beam to me. It’s going to hold up that whole thing. And then here. All right, we have 20 minutes this time. And this one is a water theme cafe. Oh, wait, wait, wait. I just got an image in my head. What if I rebuilt the Krusty Krabs? Oh my god, this is going to be so funny. If you don’t know what the Krusty Krab is, you probably live under a rock. But it’s basically Spongebob’s restaurant thing that Mr. Krab owns. Water. Oh my god. Are you serious? Oh my god. I don’t know how to make this type of stuff. All right, let’s just Yeah, let’s just start with one of these. Uh, maybe a little higher. Um, something like this. Uh, oh my god, I have no idea what to do. Okay, I lied. Um, oh my god. Make sure it’s like a rectangle. So, let’s remove some of this. Bring it across here. There we go. Let’s bring it up a few blocks. And now I can literally just take world edit and copy and rotate it and paste it. Oh yeah. Yes, the crusty crab is coming. What other blocks are in the game? Um, stone stone brick looks good to me. Let’s get uh some of that going. Some pressure plates. Uh, yeah. Yep. Yep. I I don’t know what that is, but Crusty Crap also has like a little golden handle. So, let’s put gold blocks like that. Yeah. It also has the road surrounding it. So, let’s highlight this whole area. Set it like that. I don’t remember what the inside is. I’ll switch it up in a second. Build the roof now. And where the windows are right here. What goes in in a Minecraft kitchen? Some chests. Yeah, sure. A jukebox. Yeah, why not? Cauldron. Yeah, with some water. Yeah. Yeah. Let’s uh let’s do some of that. Oh, it’s a trap chest. I’m not fixing it. Get some like trees going in. Jungle leaves. Those are pretty swaggy. Yep. Now the Krusty Krab does have like a little banner coming out too at the front that has a ton of different country flags. So I’m going to do that as well. So it’s like super accurate. Yeah. Got some swaggy water, you know, surrounded with a your bridge. You know, you never a bridge is good. Yeah, you can even boat around it. Nice. I actually had a ton of fish in here, but I flew over and now they’re all gone. So, all the fish are gone. Wait, this is like vibe. Like tropical. I like this. Yeah. Yeah. So, we got, you know, the trees overhanging, like all the picture frames. Oh, yeah. It’s like stacked up with vintage. Wait, this is actually so this is so good. Yeah. What the heck? You cooked. We’re inside of a big pond again. And there’s like mermaids and a unicorn. A unicorn. Okay, theme is sinking pirate ship. I don’t know how to make it any different or more creative cuz every pirate ship kind of looks the same. Let’s make it uh like tip upwards like this. Okay. Um I I think that might do. This will be the front of the ship. Oh, this is going to be a big boy ship. Oh man. like this. I want to thin it out near the top. Uh let’s layer this up a little bit. And let’s go in just go down to like here. Do some world edit slash set of spruce plank. M. Yeah, look at that. That pointy part needs to be over here actually, not not over there. So, it needs to stick out like I think I’m getting kind of disorientated here. So, like the floor should be here like that. And yeah, I think that’s how it will work. Yeah. Okay. Hey. Yeah, that sail that sail’s looking pretty good. Do boats have like something like coming out like a like one of these or some fence. Uh just throw fences around it, you know, cuz cuz fence. Now we’re going to get swaggy. We’re going to get orange and purple. We’re going to make it like tentacles attacking the ship. Yep, that looks like it’s attacking to me. Honestly, it’s wrapped all the way around it. I think you guys are understanding what I’m building now. But if you’re confused, this will make it a lot easier. Let’s uh let’s add the the wind sails. And since gravity would be pulling it downwards, I think I’m going to have it like broken down this way. So like the wind sail is like a little cracking and and bending towards the the water there. And add the wind sails on here. I’m just going to spam it everywhere cuz it kind of needs to look broken. Let’s build another wind sail but all the way down here. So it’s like already flattened in the water. Oh, I’m a genius, man. Oh. Oh, it’s like a little like lifeboat trap doors. That looks good. Let’s have it like here. Oh, they’re in the wrong direction. Here’s the all the all the survivors and then chest the loot that they were able to get out of there. Let’s get into my black leather hats. Look like black dye. Here we go. Oh yeah. Okay. Oh yeah. Here we go. Oh yeah. This is perfect. And I want to have the cookie shrine at the front. So, let’s have some orange, some purple, some white for my pants, and some buttons for the eyes because Brick used buttons, so I’m using buttons now. Okay, this is going to be my shrine. Bang bang. Let’s grab some pink or some Oh, this is perfect. A little polka dot pants like this. Yep. Let’s add my shirt. I’m making a shrine of myself right now. Let’s grab a brown button and put it right in the middle so it looks like a cookie. Bring my arms out. I’m going to have it like in a in a godly position, you know, like I’m I’m I’m spreading my arms. This is the SS Cookie Calibur ship. Let’s add um a little white cream. My eyes and my mouth will be a sign. It says Oh, I can’t play signs that way. Oh, I thought I could place I’ll just do it anyways. I like this my mouth. That’s my mouth. Oh, yeah. Okay, that is the shrine for the front of the ship. All right. Now, let’s make an entrance into the the hole of it. this and put it with treasure, obviously. Look at some lanterns and some barrels and gold. Not forget that. And fill it all up. This is where the treasure lies. Oh yeah. Here we go. Dang. Add some trap doors. Um I think I need some this way. Like this. Oh yeah. There we go. Oh yeah. There we go. Okay. Now let’s add some boats, which was my original idea to have like some fleeing lifeboats. And let’s add some chests around. So, like it’s like people are flying, fleeing away. There we go. Let’s add some cannons so it gives off the pirate feel. Cannons shooting out like this. Yeah, looking pretty good. Let’s get some armor stands and some helmets. Maybe. Can they sit in the boat? They can’t. Okay, let’s make some drowning kids. They’re all over. Let’s make one like right here. Some of them are submerged in the water. Can’t breathe. Some of them are over here. Let’s make the the captain over here with the gold helmet. And now we just need to break a few blocks so it looks kind of like a broken down ship. Maybe replace it with some stairs. There is no way bricks looks any better, right? Oh yeah, cook. Big big cook. And then here’s do like we can add some little interior details, you know, losing all their loot and stuff. Oh, their booty that they worked hard for. Yep. I’m not a big fan of how this looks. It looks so stupid. Okay, it does look a little more broken now, which is what I want. And uh yeah, I don’t know what else to add. What else does a pirate ship have? You know what? I’m just going to eat my sandwich. My friends brought over a sandwich and delivered to my door, so I’m just going to eat it. This is the sandwich I got. There’s some bread. There’s some chips. There’s some roasted beef. This is my build. Looking pretty good. 2 minutes and 40 seconds left. And I don’t know what else to add. So, I’m going to munch on this. I don’t know if I have time for this. I want to make a lifeboat that’s being like attacked. Oh, I don’t have time for this. Oh, I can’t even reach. Oh, okay. Um, come here. Give me your hat. But the first thing I want to do is make a little ocean or pond right here so the factory can kind of suck up some water from some source, if that makes sense. So, let’s make a cylinder of water that’s like 10 blocks like that. Perfect. That will be the lake or ocean that my water bottle factory will be sucking out of. And let’s start building this thing.
