Most Popular Stardew Valley Mods of July 2025

I can’t believe August is already here. It’s feeling like summer is flying by. But with that, we are able to look at some of the new mods on Nexus Mods for Stardew Valley from July. And these are 10 of the most popular mods that I have found. I really love the mods this month. They are a lot different than what we’re used to. Some are very similar furniture mods, different ways to interact with the NPCs, but there are a lot of new fresh and fun things that I think add a lot to the game. So, let’s jump in to these 10 different mods that you can find on Nexus Mods for Stardy Valley. This first mod I’m so excited about. This is something new and fun called the Stardew Squad. With this mod, you can invite the NPCs in town to follow you around and do tasks with you. I think this is really cool and a really fun addition to the game. Basically, the NPCs will go around and do different things, collect different items. They will help you chop down trees, water your crops. You can even explore the mines with them. But I think it’s really fun to just have them follow you around. I do think there is a little bit to be worked on with this mod, but overall I think it’s a lot of fun. It’s a new way to add more into the game with these different NPCs, and I think it’ll be a lot of fun to be adding into your game. I also love that you can go into their inventory and pick out the items that they’re picking up. So whether they’re picking up forageables, they’re picking up berries in the different berry seasons, you can go into their inventory and take that for yourself so you can sell it or do whatever you like with it and then dismiss them and go about your day. Super cute, super fun. I like this new fresh idea. This is another mod I’m really excited about. This mod is called Marry Me Reverse Wedding Proposals. And with this mod, you are able to be proposed to as the farmer. So, all of the Stardy Valley datable NPCs can propose to the farmer as opposed to the farmer proposing to them. And I think this is a really cute and fun addition. It’s such a small change that can make all of the difference in a playthrough. This works with all of the vanilla NPCs and can be supported with other mods as long as the author turns it on. Again, I’ve never seen something like this in Stardy Valley, which is why I think this is really cute, but there might be something else out there like this, but this is a mod that I love and I can’t wait to try out. All right, you guys. Now, this next mod is a little controversial to me. This mod is called the portable community center. And basically what it is is the community center in your pocket. Instead of running all the way to the community center to put things in the bundles, you can simply go into your inventory and place the items in. I think this is great to save time so that you don’t have to run to and from the community center. But I do think I don’t know. I love a good mod that that makes things a little bit easier. But I think this one makes it too easy. But I do love the convenience of it instead of running to and from whenever you get something. But I don’t know. Let me know what you guys think about this. I really do love the convenience of it, but is it a little too much? I don’t know. This next mod we’re going to take a look at is one of four furniture catalogs for the month. This is called Potato’s Cozy Furniture Jojo’s Replacement. And with this mod, you can either use it as a standalone catalog or it can replace Jojo’s furniture if you don’t like that furniture catalog within the original Sard Valley game. This mod includes bathroom furniture and other home decor items that you can use either with Bogs mods, which are are a lot of different witchy type mods to match that style, or you can use it separately. It’s whatever you feel for your game. I think this furniture is really cute, and it is very similar to the original art of Stardew Valley, so it kind of fits in more than some other furniture catalogs do. I really love this. I think it’s really cute and cozy and adds a little bit of that witchy aesthetic to your game. So, if that’s something you’re looking for, then this will be the mod for you. This next mod is a really simple one. This is called dynamic windows. And basically what it does is change what’s happening outside through your windows so you can see what’s happening. In the normal windows in Stardew Valley, nothing is really happening outside. But with dynamic windows, you can see how the light changes from day to night. And when you open the windows, you get all of the leaves coming in or butterflies dependent on the season. I think it’s a really cute addition to the game and something that I will be immediately adding to all of my save files. Now you guys, this next mod is something that I think is so silly and fun. This is called the muttering farmer. And what this mod does is verbalize the actions that the farmer is taking throughout the day. It displays them in speech bubbles above their head. So whether they are chopping down trees or visiting people in town, they are verbalizing what’s going on. It makes this a little bit more immersive and fun. So as you’re going about your day, all of the different actions that you are taking just pop up above your head. There are a lot of these, but it is very customizable. So, you can make it however you want it to be. But I think this is just like a cute little addition to the game. As I was walking around, all of these bubbles were popping above my head, and I loved seeing the words that were going along with it. I think that’s so fun. Whoever came up with that, I love it. Great job. The next two mods we’re going to be looking at are new additions to the catalog in Stardew Valley. The first one is called Maximalism Sorcery, and the second is called Maximalism Kitchenelia. And these are adding new maximalist additions to the catalog. So with maximalism kitchenalia, we are adding new kitchen clutter. And with maximalism sorcery, we are adding new magical decorative clutter. You can see here that these are really cute and fun items that add a little bit more clutter and design to your game. Rather than furniture that is used to, you know, sit in, sleep in, this is just clutter for the game. You can see there are so many different items that you can add that go along with the maximalism collection in this mod pack. But you can use all of this to add some more decor to your game. I really love the different book items, the globes, the kitchen items. I think they all add a lot of fun elements to the game. And I think this goes really well with the wizard catalog that’s already in Stardw Valley. So if you want something to complement that, I think the sorcerer one would be great. And if you want more kitchen clutter, then the kitchen one is the one for you. Now, we’re going to be taking a look at the fourth and final furniture mod for the month of July. This is called the Victorian furniture swan set mod. This mod adds in a vintage swan themed Victorian furniture pack to decorate your farmhouse. There’s a lot of really cute items in this game. To get this catalog, you just have to go to Robin. She has it available within her shop that you can purchase. And the furniture in this catalog is so beautifully done. The mod author did so well with this mod. I think all of the little details that went into this are great, especially if you’re having this more vintage feel to your farm. I love all of the pearls and the swans that are in this collection. I really do think this is so beautiful and so well done. So, props to the mod author. Once again, let me know down below. This next mod is probably one of my favorites of July. This is the custom Toothless Dragon pet mod and it does exactly what you think it does. It adds Toothless in from How to Train Your Dragon to be a pet in Stardy Valley. This also comes with a custom adoption story line with events and quests as well. So, not only is it changing how your pet looks, but also adds a little bit more to the game. But I will warn that you must choose Toothless from the beginning of your save. This isn’t a mod that you can add in midway through because Toothless has to be chosen from the beginning. So, if you have this more witchy type dragon vibe for your farm, this will be the mod for you. I love this. I can’t wait to have a save with Toothless in it.
