There’s one specific type of villager that I think about more than they should because it’s the funniest thing that Minecraft has ever done. This here is the nitworth because for some reason Minecraft thought, you know what we need in the next update? We need a villager that’s impossible for them to get a job. An unemployed villager. What gets even funnier is its name wasn’t originally going to be the knitwear. At first, it was going to be called the unemployed villager, but if you think about it, villagers aren’t technically employed by anyone. They just work together. So, the next name idea was the village idiot. But then Jeb just thought it’d be funnier to call it the nitwit cuz it’s kind of a funny name. That’s not where the funny things stop for this thing. Once it hits a certain time, the villagers have to go sleep for work in the morning. The nitwit, however, is going to continue wandering around for a further 1 minute and 40 seconds. Why is that? Because Minecraft hardcoded it in the game that the unemployed villager goes to sleep hours after everyone. And there he goes to bed. And for the same reason as that, when the sun starts rising in the morning and the villagers start getting up, the thwit will naturally wake up 1 minute and 40 seconds later than every other villager. I would say hopefully one day these guys can get a job. Unfortunately for them, it’s hardcoded, so they
