This Mod Is AWESOME! || Terraria Starlight River

There seldom comes a Terraria mod that even those who have never played it say how amazing it is. The Thoria mod with its bard class. The Calamity mod for its insane amount of new content. Argo soul mod for its absolutely brutal final boss. But there’s one mod that caught my eye all the way back in 2023. And since then, this mod has shattered expectations and become possibly one of the most popular upandcoming mods in Terraria history. I’m talking about the Starlight River mod. Awesome new weapons, beautiful scenery, and insane looking new bosses. I want to check it out. So, join me on this journey of my first time playing the Starlight River mod and trying to experience everything this mod has to offer. Rise and grind, gamers. My name is Tatsumi, and welcome to the Starlight River mod. So, I have so many things I want to talk about immediately after entering this world. For one, damn, dude. Look at these trees. Oh my god. with like the the luminous like kind of shaders mod I have too dude. This look Oh my god, this looks so goddamn pretty. I want to be honest, guys. You’re going to have to bear with me for this little intro segment because like I said, there is just so much I want to talk about. I have like information overload already with this mod. So, first off, I guess besides the trees, first off, you might notice I got a bit of a vanity set going on in here. I’m not sure why, but like for some of my Terraria series, I’ve been like making myself vanity sets for like the start of the series. I’ve really been enjoying doing this. So, if you guys don’t know who this is, I am currently playing as a character that you might call a Stardust Crusader, which I thought would be pretty topical seeing as we are playing the Starlight River mod. Of course, if you guys don’t know who I’m talking about, I am playing as Kujo from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part Three, Stardust Crusaders. Now, I’m going to be honest. This vanity set is not perfect by any means, but I think I got all the main essentials of this character. If you guys don’t know who I’m talking about, I apologize. I’ll try and make this brief, but like I got the Kujo Jodoro hat, you know? I have the whatever this guy is, this guy robe to give him like the jacket with the collar because otherwise it would look like this, which honestly does look pretty good, but I think it looks a little bit better with the popped collar. And then also, I have the black belt with the the the flame eye to kind of look like the uh the Caesar belt, you know. Again, if you know, you know. No spoilers. Can I chop down these trees? Looks like I can’t, but I can’t really tell. Oh, no. I totally can. Wow, that gave me a lot of wood, actually. Cool. Chill. I I I just noticed there’s like a a weird like hexagon kind of thing over here, like honeycomb design. Okay, I’m so sorry. I literally keep getting sidetracked. The world looks absolutely beautiful, though. I am loving these custom trees. So, you guys might be concerned like Tetsumi, you’re starting another let’s play right in the middle of two other Terraria let’s plays. Yes, I am. Yes, I am. Because honestly, I just really want to I think I’m going to change up my channel just a little bit. You know, I’m trying to do like a a variety channel, right? play a variety of different games, but Terraria is what I imagine most of you guys subscribe for. And you know what? I’m here for the people. I’ll give you guys what you want. I’m thinking, let’s just triple up on some Terraria content and still hopefully like have time to post all the other content. And this is a mod I’ve just been like super super excited to play. I have this mod has been on my radar for a long time and like finally I I feel like this is the best opportunity to play it because it is now becoming so popular. I’ve seen so many Tik Tok hype edits and like cool edits of like this mod and other Terraria mods and it’s just I want to play it. Dude, I didn’t even really realize I was doing this, but I suppose we are going uh this way in the world. And while we do, I can actually talk to you guys about when I first entered this world because something a bit strange happened. I got a warning pop-up message and I’ll put it on screen now for you guys. But what it says is warning because I’m in master mode. It says Starlight River has unique boss behavior for it bosses in master mode. This behavior is intended to be immensely difficult over anything else and assumes a high amount of knowledge about both the mod and the base game. So, I have one of those down. I have, you know, much knowledge about regular Terraria. I have no idea about anything in Starlight River. But listen, I’m I’m here for a challenge. Starlight River Master Mode is not intended for a first playthrough. Starlight River Master Mode is not intended to be fair. Starlight River Master Mode is not intended to be fun for everyone. Please remember that the health, both physical and mental, of yourself and those around you, is far more important than this game or anything inside of it. Also, I just realized this. I am so sorry. I had the time paused and like the enemies disabled because like I was I was making my vanity character in a separate world and I didn’t want to, you know, enter this world and mess around with it. But there you go. Enemies are back enabled and the time is now started again. And if you guys know anything about me or my channel, you might know that I just got off the back of a Fargo’s Soulmod masochist mode playthrough. And I did that completely blind. And it was very hard to say the least. But honestly, I really really loved it. And it has become now one of my favorite modded experiences in Terraria. So, I genuinely do not think uh a hard let’s play is really going to affect me. In fact, I am way more looking forward to this let’s play. Now that I know it’s going to be hard. Like I love difficulty spikes in games. I I don’t know what it is. Maybe because I grew up playing Dark Souls, but like listen, I just I love the difficulty. I am so ready to see what happens. Well, I don’t have any torches, but like maybe I can sort of feel my way around in the dark. Uh down here. Nope. The screen is pitch black. I have no idea where I am. Maybe I could use the mini map to help me a little bit. Ah, cool. The mini map is also pitch black. Dude, I can’t see. Dude, how do I get out of here? How do I I don’t even know where I am on the screen right now. I think I’m making my way back up. I see the light. It’s moving. No, I fell back down, dude. No, I fell all the way back down. I can’t see. [ __ ] Oh. Oh. Oh, I’m doing it. Oh my god. My cursor was a little bit off, so I like wasn’t quite stepping on the blocks as I was jumping up. Oh my god, that was You know what? Maybe I take it back. Dude, I am clearly not ready for a challenge. I did enable enemy spawns, but yeah. Okay, thank god there is there is a blue slime down here. I was going to say I have not seen any slimes to get myself any torches, but there we go. First chest. What do we get? A spear. That is probably one of the best things I could have actually asked for in one of those above ground chests. Oh, dude. Forest berries. Yo, this is so cool. Restores. Oh, this is a healing thing. That is sick. I really, really, really enjoy the world generation so far. It might be just cuz I’ve been playing Terraria for like so long that I am so unbelievably used to the world generation, but it’s it’s just really nice seeing something new. Oh, you know what? I must have been episode one, Jo, where I didn’t have my star platinum to come protect me. That’s That’s fine. You know what? It’s night time. It’s dangerous. Maybe we’ll just try and make some houses. Oh [ __ ] Yo, there’s a bat in that tree. Oh, a tree bat. That’s sick. All right, gamers. You hear that music? It has now turned day. I pretty much just kind of like chilled here for most of the night. I opened up one of these loot bags and I got myself a finch staff and I suppose also a katana, but I’m probably not going to use the katana. But a finch staff is pretty useful. And you know, we just kind of set up shop here. So gamers, I think now, I mean, how about we try and explore, let’s try and explore the right side. I mean, [ __ ] that we have so much open to us now. Again, it’s the start of a brand new mod, brand new Terraria world. We have so much to do and I am super looking forward to it. I also just noticed new berries over here. Wa wa wait, what are these? Strawberries. Is that what slime berries? Oh my god, that’s so cool. Oh, they disappeared. Do I need to kill them or do I need to like capture them with a net? Because I don’t have a net right now. Oh, I do. I just hit them and they they turn into jail. That is so cool. So, gamers, because it is the there is a slime that is traveling through the blocks. You know what, bro? You do you gamers, what I was going to say is because this is the start of a brand new series, what I like to do at the beginning of my series is just tell you guys a little bit about myself and a little bit about my channel. So, what’s going on gamers? My name is Tetssumi. My real name is Wade. I am 22 years old. I am currently in college for a master’s degree except like soon that’s going to be over in December which I am excited about and nervous about because that means I do need to go into the workforce pretty soon and I’ve been really actually struggling to get a job. I’ve been looking like crazy to get a job in like computer science or like it something with like computers you know and dude it is just like the the job market right now. I don’t know if any of you guys are experienced this yourself. It is impossible right now to get an entry- level job. It is actually kind of crazy but that’s neither here nor there. I am actually soon going to be moving into an apartment with my friend/ roommate from college and I’m very excited about that and you know also similarly a little bit nervous. What’s going on? Big rock statue. This is sick. Can I do anything with this? I don’t really want to like break it just in case I can but like damn that is cool. So I’m going to be moving to a different state which means obviously yeah I need to get a job for sure. But for now we’re chilling. We’re playing Terraria. We’re doing the whole YouTube thing. I’m going to obviously continue to do the whole YouTube thing. Like YouTube is my passion. Hey we got a pyramid. That’s hype. YouTube is my passion. I want to make videos probably forever and I probably will be making videos forever regardless of if I have a job or not. So, like hopefully one day I can actually make it big and become like a a full-fledged YouTuber and like actually make money off my videos. That’d be really cool. But for now, we’re just chilling. We’re playing some Terraria. We’re playing a bunch of other games. My channel, I don’t know if I mentioned this, my channel is not just a Terraria channel. Although I do focus on Terraria cuz like that’s kind of that’s kind of what you all subscribe for and I’m totally cool with that. But I also like to play a ton of other games, play games with my friends, play games that I’m interested in. I’ve been recently enjoying a lot playing like horror games like Five Nights at Freddy’s fan games and kind of stuff. So maybe if you guys also enjoy any of that along with me, you guys can check out some of that content. But let’s see. Magic carpet. Okay, sandstorm in a bottle is good. But [ __ ] I mean, that’s pretty much it. So let’s talk Terraria. Specifically, let’s talk about me dying to the strategically placed ant lion. Oh, dude, I dropped all my 14 gold. God damn it. I got to go back and get that. Let’s talk about Starlight River. So, I mentioned this a little bit in the intro, but I have seen bits and pieces of the Starlight River mod. I have pretty much remained completely spoiler-free. Like, realistically, I’ve really not seen anything about this mod. I just know that the bosses have really cool animations when you like spawn them in. And apparently, there are really cool bosses, which I don’t even know how many there are. I don’t know at what stage in the game they are. Like, actually, I haven’t even opened my boss checklist here. Like, do we have any bosses that we can fight? So, it looks like actually we do pretty close. The Oracle, whatever that is. We’ll get to that definitely soon. Maybe even in the next episode. Hopefully in this episode we can kind of get things going. And then what after the queen bee, we also have a glass weaver. And then what? Serios. And then it looks like that’s pretty much it for preh hard mode. But then we get to hard mode. And there is nothing. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. You know what? That’s totally fair. I didn’t know if this mod was updated yet, but it does say on the wiki that currently there is no hard mode content. Now, to be fair, this was in the Q&A section. And it says as of January 2024, there’s no hard mode content. Obviously, right now, we are almost in August of 2025, so I wasn’t sure if that was like a typo or if that was just kind of old and outdated, but it looks like maybe it was a typo and that there is currently no hard mode content, which honestly is totally fine because it seems like the preh hard mode content that there is in this mod is definitely a lot. And I am still super super excited to check it all out. So, maybe this series will end in hard mode. Maybe we can even keep it going for a little bit further. But uh either way, I’m just looking forward to playing this mod. Or I will die to another jungle bat and put my gold way further in the world because I forgot to run back and deposit it in my safe. Oh [ __ ] And we got a new thing. Yo, what is this? The Sojourer’s scarf. 20% increased movement speed, 50% decreased life regeneration while stationary. Okay. I mean, like for bosses or even enemies, like that doesn’t really matter much. That’s pretty cool. So, gamers, I did want to say right now, while I am trying to remain pretty spoiler-free about this mod, if you guys do have any helpful tips or suggestions or stuff that you kind of want to nudge me in the direction of doing, like for instance, I did see some stuff on the wiki about throwing like a fallen star into a a pile of water. A pile of water. That’s not how that works. Into a body of water that it turns into like kind of like a shimmer kind of thing. and you can shimmer items and stuff and get cool stuff. I don’t really know what that’s about, but like if you want to tell me about any cool or new stuff like that, then definitely do because I do not want to miss a single thing in this mod. Ooh, what is this? A brisk acorn sprout killing summoned tagged enemies. Summons an acorn to fall on nearby enemies. Hey, that’s pretty cool. Off the top of my head, this actually sounds really good against like the Eye of Cthulhu or something. What the [ __ ] I Yo, I Oh my god, dude. that I cannot form sentences right now. As I was trying so desperately to say, I didn’t realize, I also got Oh, I got two of them. I got a brick layers meal. Doubles block placement range and tool range. Decreases mining speed by 33% for blocks outside your original range. Is that what it said? Oh my god, I’m dead. I’m dead. And all the piranhas took my gold. And that fallen star just [ __ ] disappeared. Oh, it went into the water. Oh, that became like a water thing. Okay, so I guess it doesn’t need to be a large body of water. It can just be like a few blocks in the ground. That’s really cool. [ __ ] Yo, look at that. It happened again. Actually, you know what? No, I was going to say, let’s check this out. I really want to go get my 14 gold, dude. That’s so much gold. I’m actually going to go insane, dude. Why is there a snatcher right where I need to go? Finally, give me back my godamn gold. And actually, you know what? That’s perfect. The fallen star landed right on top of me. So, we can still check out the uh shimmer thing, whatever this is. So, I’m not really sure. Yeah, actually, this is sick. This is how it works. So, basically, if like an item looks like this, it has a glow, then it means you can shimmer it into something else. So, it looks like my armor we can actually shimmer into something else. I suppose we might as well do that. See whatever the hell this turns into. Damn. Oh my god, that effect looks so beautiful. Oh my god, that’s so cool. Interesting. Interesting. Dude, that is sick. So, it looks like it takes one fallen star and then converts. I can’t. Yeah, it converts whatever like it converts a single item per fallen star. So, if I throw another fallen star in here, then it’ll finish up with all the the wooden breast plate, right? Or did that already do it and I didn’t notice? No, it just it kind of glitched out maybe. Yeah, there we go. And I guess I can in this one throw this piece of wood in. I want to see what does this wood turn into. Does it just turn into like a different piece of Whoa. Oh, that is not what I expected at all. I thought it maybe be like a custom piece of wood or something crazy. This is sick. Critical strikes generate mana stars. Minus 3% critical strike chance, but plus 3% critical strike chance when empowered by starwood armor, which yeah, is the armor we just made ourselves. Dude, that is so goddamn cool. So, it looks like this is a a mana armor set. And the set bonus is picking up mana stars empowered starwood items temporarily granting them new effects and all enemies have a chance of dropping mana stars on death. Dude, that is so god damn cool. Well, I suppose we also now have the next goal that we want to accomplish, which is find ourselves a cool new modded magic weapon so we can test out this critical strike thing. Oh [ __ ] we don’t even need I forgot we don’t even need to use a mana weapon because of the like armor set bonus. We can just like get mana stars from our regular critical hits. Dude, this is so dope. Oh my god, we’re going to have to like frequently check back at those like little bodies of water with some fallen stars cuz I want to see what else we could possibly transform. Ooh. Oh, another thing. We got a dusty amulet. 20 plus maximum life and 20 plus maximum mana and8 times critical strike chance. An old heirloom with an inscription lost to time. Dude, so far, maybe this is just cuz like this is the stuff I’m finding, but so far it feels like a lot of these modded items and stuff that I’m finding are very kind of tuned to be mana and like magic related. Oh. Oh [ __ ] What is that? Oh, there’s like a magical bracelet or something in the sand. Dude, I want to figure out what that is. So, what is this? A sealass ring. It’s a material. It gives me a barrier. Hold on. I want to keep reading, but I’m about to be slimed by all these zombies. Plus 30 barrier and also barrier recharge starts slightly faster. Press up for more info. Oh, that’s sick. Provides significant damage reduction while active. When you resist damage this way, the amount you would have taken is subtracted from your barrier. The barrier recovers after a brief period of not taking damage. Yeah, I mean, that’s cool. That’s just what a barrier is, I feel like. So, I can basically tank 30 points worth of damage. Oh [ __ ] look at the ocean. Oh my god, that is beautiful. A fallen star landed in the ocean. It made it look kawaii desu. This is also very underrated. But if I just throw a fallen star here. Look at that. It also kind of lights up the area a little bit. Oh no, dude. [ __ ] I’m going to die. No. No. No. Dude, no. I’m so far away. No, I forgot I don’t have a magic mirror or anything. Dude, I just lost 15 gold to the ocean. Oh [ __ ] So apparently this sea salt is a material in salt cogs which makes your centuries fire twice as fast and give you 100 plus increased sententury placement speed. That’s really cool. And also I realized this with a different item we had. I think it was like carrots or something. Yeah, carrots. It says it’s a side dish and I gain danger sense and it adds 1 minute duration to food. And it says the same thing kind of for the sea salt. It’s a seasoning and food buffs are 10% more effective and I can breathe under water. I didn’t notice that. So is this like can I eat this? Is this a buff? No. So, like I must combine this with food somehow. Might be possible with this with the prep station. I forgot about this, too. This is like a new crafting interface that you can make with the Starlight River mod. Can we do food preparation with this? Like, I don’t even know what I would possibly need for food preparation. Actually, is the carrot No, because the carrot’s not even like a material. So, I don’t think I’d combine it with anything. Maybe I need to have like different foods in my inventory and then I can eat them maybe all at the same time. Interesting. The merchant also sells a bunch of these like weird seasonings and ingredients. That’s so cool. I want to know how to use all this. I suppose since we still don’t have like a magic mirror or anything, we can try and do a little bit of caving while we’re out here and maybe find oursel a magic mirror. You know what, dude? These caves suck. I’m going home. God damn it. I thought maybe this one cave that I missed would actually be something cool, but no. These caves actually do just suck. Ooh. Oh [ __ ] There’s like an actual Oh god, I’m dead. Well, I found another house though and a loot wraith. Sure, whatever the hell that is. We back. I see that boulder trap. I am not going to die this time. So, let’s make our way down here very carefully. Uh, let’s see if Do we have to kill the loot wraith? Like, is that is that what I have to do? I can’t attack you. So, interestingly though, it didn’t look like it actually hit me. It just pushed me but did no damage. Coincidentally, there was also a double dart trap over here, but like I don’t think you actually did damage to me. Okay, sir or ma’am. Yeah. Yeah, you’re not doing damage to me. So, are you are you chill? Let me first off remove this because I know your ass is going to push me back into it. What is What the [ __ ] What is all this? What the hell are those gloom slimes? What? Get away from me. Did she summon friends? Is that what happened? Like now there’s a bunch of ghost gloom slimes after me. Like I genuinely see no other explanation. I think actually she must have summoned these. Like what the [ __ ] There’s an army of them. Can you please just let me enter your chest? Pause on that. But like Yeah. Oh wait, are you going to Oh [ __ ] Are you going to do damage to me now? Yo, yes she is. But I [ __ ] I got him with the dirt trap, dude. Oh, that is so sick. What did I get? Vengeful spirit. What does this make? That’s so Whoa. Oh my god. Oh my god. That’s so cool. It looks like all this stuff is pretty early game, too. That is sick. I wonder if we can find any more of these things. I want to get more vengeful spirits. Dude, I was so excited about all that. I literally almost forgot about this cool ass house up here. Like, what is this house all about? Is this actually just like a cool little NPC house? Why? There’s a bunch more gloom slimes. Can you guys chill for a second, please? I’m dead. God damn it. No, they’re taking me gold. Oh, I didn’t realize that the gel I got is different gel used to make gorgees. Obviously, obviously the gloom gel would make gorgees and a gloom gauntlet. What the hell, dude? This looks cool. Gain melee damage based on the speed of your held weapon. That’s pretty cool. You know, I also realized I probably should have been using my life crystals so I wasn’t going to die in like three hits like I have been. So, let’s definitely do Oh my god, they’re back. I thought they I I forgot they took my gold. They’re all still here, I suppose. For now, let’s check this chest. It’s yet another band of regeneration. Cool. All right, we broke into the house. Unfortunately, there wasn’t really a good way of getting in cuz it looks like the door has been blocked off by the terrain, but there’s a dope ass looking chest in here. Whoa. Whoa. What? That’s sick, Lou. I get I get the rune of warding. And then I I I get to pick two other rewards. That is sick. Okay, so this gives me a bit of a better barrier, which is awesome. There’s also a lesser barrier potion, which also grants me a 40 barrier and gradually reduces the overcharge of barrier loss for 3 seconds, whatever the [ __ ] that means. And then Spelunker’s glow sticks and a bunch of other stuff. Dude, hell yeah. I suppose I’ll take the lesser arrows and the jester’s arrows, dude. Like, oh my god, I’m at the lesser barrier potion. That is so cool. Oh, dude, look at that. There’s a [ __ ] gaggle of gloom slimes over here. Ooh. Oh, what is this down here? Oh, I got a buff. Refreshing dip. The hot springs restores your body and mind. Is that like some kind of healing effect? That’s really cool. There’s also a fountain here. I like kind of don’t want to break it cuz it looks really cool, but also I want it. Oh [ __ ] it transforms the nearby water into a hot springs. Dude, that is so goddamn cool. I wasn’t planning on making any sort of build for this series cuz like I don’t know how long the series is going to be if we’re not going to go past hard mode, but like I really want to make some kind of like hot springs village kind of build now with this hotring thing. Oh wait, hold on. There’s actually two glowing things. So first off, I didn’t even see this cuz like there was a boulder trap up here. So like I I completely ignored this glowy thing. There’s something glowing in the wall over here, too. Yeah. What is this? Is there actually anything or is that just like some kind of weird effect? Oh, there is. Oh [ __ ] there is something in the wall. Yo, that is so goddamn cool. What the [ __ ] did I just get? An exotic geode. An extractionator might be able to break it apart. That is awesome. And is this just the one? Yeah, there’s also just another one right here that’s also in the wall. Uh-oh, I see another one. Somebody stop me. Do not include that [ __ ] What the hell? That was a terrible impression. Glowing mushroom biome has been mined into. And also, I see three life crystals already in here. What I’m really looking for, though, is more of those weird like loot wraiths or whatever they were. Whoa. Or whatever the hell this is. What the hell? What is going on in here? Is this like a boss arena? Dude, this is totally a boss arena. Whoa. Can I can I’m guessing I can’t mine my way into here. What is this? Oh, but I can mine this. Dude, what is this place? C I Is that guy going to hurt me? Can I talk to him? What is a magmite? Oh my god. What is a sandbat? Actually, sandbat sounds pretty self-explanatory, but it does not This does not look like a sandbat. Oh, he dropped ancient ceramic, bro. What? Oh my god. What? This stuff looks so goddamn cool. Okay, back to my initial question. Cuz he I I can’t tell if he looks scary or not. He kind of does look scary. So, let me I guess put some rope down. Maybe I can climb back up. Hello, sir. Oh, you’re friendly. Oh, what the [ __ ] This is sick. I cannot read that right now, dude. I’m fighting for my life. Or not. Actually, that guy just got himself stuck. Ah, you finally found me. I don’t know why this reminds me of this, but this really reminds me of playing Shovel Knight for the first time and like going into some weird like different areas. Or actually, it reminds me of playing the Shovel Knight, but like the Plaguebringer DLC where you would like go and talk to the alchemist and make like potions and increase your weapons and stuff. If you guys know what I’m talking about, then maybe you guys will agree with me. But like, holy [ __ ] dude. This is so sick. You know, I’m going to I’m going to ignore these guys. I like I’m just going to straight up ignore them. I cannot deal with those fireflies. What did you say? Okay, I can I can respond. I can say what or no. I’m just going to say what, I guess. I What do you mean? You just wandered in here? Nobody comes to see the legendary weaver of glass without a reason, especially outside my forge. It must have been fate. Good ass anime series. Yes. Yes. You see, I’ve actually been having some trouble lately getting it up in the bedroom. I know it’s hard to believe. Me in trouble, right? But I do need assistance of a daring one such as you. Think of it as a quest or something. Adventurers love these, right? I am an artist and a crystal is my medium. But to properly work on it, I need some very powerful equipment. And well, how should I say this? I did maybe forget to maintain the tools in my chosen forge for a bit, only for a few centuries. Don’t give me that look. You might not be able to tell with your lack of expertise and all, but I give it only a few more years before the magma channels erode and the forge heart collapses. So, I’ve been diligently scouting out nearby forge temple. The thing is, it’s almost an even more despair. Oh, disrepair, not despair. Dude, I I am having such a hard time with English in these past few let’s plays. Like, oh my god. If you, handsome, w dead, handsome, wise, and dead explorer, handsome, wise, kind explorer, are brave enough to venture in and fix up the forge. I’ll let you keep whatever you find inside. Here, I’ll show you where it is. Show me that temple. Oh, wa. This area is huge. What? This is insane. Wait, what did he just say? Why did my screen go dark? What the [ __ ] What did he say? He said, “Wait, no, you can’t just barge in. You need a key. I need to know if I’m giving my faith.” And I don’t know what this guy’s saying. I’m dead. What? What? Looking back at my footage, he said, “I need to know if I’m giving my faith and crystal to the right person. So, when you think you’re strong enough, challenge me properly and I’ll put you through my glass weaver gauntlet.” And I don’t know if there was more because it cut off there, but like I does that mean I need to like have beaten a boss actually. Do I need to have beaten the uh the glass weaver wherever he is? Yeah, the glass weaver here after the queen bee. No, no, this is what it looks like. I challenge in the gauntlet or something. It says challenge the glass weaver in his forge near the edge of the Vitrich desert. I guess that might be where that is. I have no idea. Dude, that is so goddamn cool. Okay, well, you know what, gamers? Here is what I want to do. I want to try and explore this area because like I have no idea what this area is. It looks like I can kind of traverse it a little bit. Maybe I can even like come over here and see what that’s all about. But also, I did see down here there’s a bunch of these crystals. And can I mine them? No. But I can. It’s showing me the icon of some kind of like tornado or sack or something like I don’t even know what the hell that is. A sand viper. Should I kill it? Dude, I’m going to die, dude. I can’t kill anything in this biome. You know what? That’s that this is fair. I am definitely a little bit underpowered for this area. It feels like Oh my god. But that is ne literally about to say that has never stopped me before, but clearly it has. Also, I just realized I can make myself a topaz hook, which would have been super helpful. Okay, so back down here. I guess I’m going to remain zoomed out for a little bit. I can go like down this way. Okay, it looks like there’s spikes or something that’s going to hurt me. But for the most part, I can kind of traverse down here. This area is so [ __ ] cool. Can I do something with this big crystal? No, definitely not. Okay, so then this is I guess like the gauntlet or like the arena or something. Is this a door? I see this is a door. And then like inside here is I imagine maybe like the arena. So this is why I need like the crystal key. Then what was above here? Is there something like is this a big shiny crystal that I can mine or something? I imagine that sound means no. I’m going to say award for the absolute coolest modded new biome/ area goes to Starlight River. Holy [ __ ] What an awesome [ __ ] thing to explore. I am so glad I have never seen this before in like anyone’s playthrough or like any spoiler content of the mod because like this is incredible. Also, I literally survived that with one heart. And now, now I didn’t. I shouldn’t have said anything. Why did I say anything? Actually, you know what? It seems that, funnily enough, from my map, it kind of looks like there’s an opening right here. So, maybe if I continued going down the pyramid, I might have kind of reached an opening, but it looks like not quite. I mean, I’m sure there probably would be an opening, but I did not quite reach it. Well, gamers, with that being explored, I think that is where we’re going to go ahead and end off the episode today. Holy [ __ ] I am so so excited to see what more this mod has to offer. That area alone is maybe the coolest thing I’ve seen in a Terraria mod in such a long time. And we already have a ton of stuff to take a look at off camera and in the next episode. Like this vengeful spirit which goes into making it looks like some really really cool beginner weapons. these ancient ceramics that we got in that little area that also look like they go into making possibly slightly later weapons and stuff. Like, oh my god, I am so excited to get started on this mod and just like get stronger and see all this mod has to offer.
