I spent 100 days in Palworld’s Terraria Update
I’m about to spend the next 100 days in Power World’s new Terraria crossover update. And in that time, I hope to catch every single PAL, find the new Terraria content, and catch Power World’s version of a shiny Pokémon. One day in Power World is equal to 32 minutes in real life. So, it can’t be that hard, right? Well, now might be a good time to mention that I’ve never played this game before. But before we get started, we need to create our character. And while the game allows you to go pretty crazy with the sliders, I decided to just make myself for maximum immersion. And the first thing I did on day one was introduce myself to the locals. The people I came with aren’t with us any longer. Those pals ate every one of them. Holy You need to toughen up if you want to survive out there. I think I could take them personally. Oh, there’s one lambball. But currently, we have no way to catch it. So, I follow the tutorial missions until I unlock the palphere technology. Okay, we got to find palium fragments and stone. Oh, they run from you. That’s really uncomfortable. How do we get a paladium fragment? I feel like I know how, but this is awful. This I actually feel like so evil. Oh they’re so fast. Oh. Oh no. It was at this moment that I realized this is not how you get PAL fragments. You’re fine, right? Yeah, he’s fine. He’s just He’s just sleeping. Turns out you just had to hit these glowing blue rocks with a pickaxe. Oh, I I thought I killed it. Okay, that critical bonus. Okay, so many things just happened. So, now we can summon it. So, it’s got Holy that is high level. It looks friendly. I don’t think it’s going to be friendly. I’m not messing with that. Not only can we send these pals into battle, but I soon found out that I can command them to mine resources for us. I’m starting to get why their first instinct is to run away. On day two, I was visited by a traveling merchant. I held off on buying anything because I wasn’t really sure which items to get and also I’m pretty poor right now. Afterwards, I found another lambball and after catching it, I got some wool. However, this won’t quite be enough for a new outfit. So, yeah, that’s an outfit. But wait, what’s that sound? Whoa, they’re killing the They just killed him. Oh my god, they’re going on a rampage. I guess I left the attack aggressively command on from earlier and I now know that applies to humans as well. Oh, that guy looks cool. Who Who crates? I’m going for it. 93. Yeah, dude. Who crates? I then caught daydream, which is definitely my favorite paddle design so far. On day three, I crafted a shield and bone. Decided to explore around the island some more. Oh my god, it’s level 33. That would be sick, though. I do really want it. What if we got really lucky and got a mammo wrist? Okay. Okay. Bad idea. Bad idea. While that mammo rest may have been a little bit outside of our level range, I felt that this dynamome pal from before might be doable. And things were actually looking really good until Oh, I’m out of arrows. Oh no. So, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to catch anything new until day four. Ooh. Little acorn guy. Is that its tongue? Oh, yeah, it is. Okay. Oh, that’s awful. Stop. I was able to catch loads of other spawns, too. My favorites were this Nox and Cremise, who looks a lot like Gigantamax Eevee. Eventually, I stumbled across this ominous looking cave entrance, and nothing could have prepared me for what I would find inside. Oh, Jesus. Oh, no. Whoa. Holy dude. Noox is broken. Damn. Oh, should I have tried to catch that? Well, uh, that’s fine. Whoa, that’s new. Melpka. [Laughter] What is bro doing? Okay, it’s been like 5 days, but I think it’s about time we start building a base. Uh, we’re going to build it here. I just like this location. I think it’s nice. You get the water. So, yeah, I’ll get on that. And I spent literally all of day five building this thing. This is going to be our home for the next 95 days. So, I pulled out all of the stops for this one. Pretty cool, right? Our base was so extraordinary that mere seconds after I finished construction, a bunch of raiders got jealous and tried to take it over, which didn’t end well for them because they were all at level one. I respect the hustle, though. And surprisingly, after just 5 days, I was about to cross the first objective off my list. Oh, is that a lucky like a shiny? That’s one of the things we were going for. I thought it’d be a different color, to be honest. It’s a little bigger, too. Please don’t kill it. Okay, good. I think I just used one of our really good balls in it, but that’s okay. Yeah. So, you get plus 15% work speed and attack speed. So, that’s cool. I then spent the rest of day five and six developing our base by putting in a stone pit, a logging site, a berry plantation, and this Lucario looking statue. At this statue, you can use liftmunk energy to permanently increase your capture rate, and also enhance your pal stats with pow souls. Next, I crafted this pow gear workstation that allows you to make partner items. I got a saddle for our alpaca and this necklace for Daydream. The necklace is pretty cool because while Daydream is in your party, it will now stay by your side in tandem with any other panel of your choosing. And so with our new equipment, I set out on day seven in search of some new pals. Oh, that one’s huge. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to catch it, but I really want to try. This is a very convenient rock placement. You can catch these big ones. Dire Howl. Let’s go, dude. Yo, Nightwing, I’m going for it. Oh, we got a crit as well. No. No, guys, I wanted that one. So, I just decided to spend the rest of the day further developing our base. There’s so much to build in this game to continue unlocking gear and keeping your pals efficient and happy. Like, I get we’re getting free manual labor, but do they really need a hot tub? All the new things to build got very overwhelming very fast. So, I decided to just take it easy and explore some more on day nine. Oh there he is. One aspect of Pokémon that I’ve always loved is reading through all of the dark Pokédex entries. And in that regard, Powworld did not disappoint. It carries newborn pals to its nest and raises them as a surrogate parent. Once the baby pal has fattened up, it hunts them. On day 10, I found loads of new spawns, including this flock of Toco Tokos who decided killing me was more important than self-preservation. Is this going to explode? Oh my god. Then on day 11, I stumbled across this village. So, are these not anybody else’s? If I try and take this, am I going to die? After stabbing it several times and catching it, I concluded that these people didn’t really care if I took their pals. Uh-oh. I’m so screwed. Well, this is bad. Can I Can I still get it? I’m going for it, but I’m going to die anyways. Okay, we just stole someone’s Pokemon. Run. Holy they got so many guns. I quickly found out you do not want to mess with the PF. These guys are relentless and will travel to the end of the earth to hunt you down and make you pay for your crimes. Okay, what did we do that for? Is this at least good? Okay, I think we’re chill. And hey, we got a brand new pallet out of it. Vixie could be super rare, too. Who knows how difficult it would be and how long it would take to find one of these. So, because we’re now level 15, we’re able to unlock the saddle. So, we should be able to fly. Oh, that’s so sick, dude. Now, it’s definitely slower, but if we want to go over here, we can just fly straight there. Okay, so I don’t know why this big tower has been like right beside us this whole time and I just have never gone in it. But let’s try it now. It’s like some boss battle thing. I imagine this will be very easy because it’s something that we probably should have done like way earlier. It’s a trainer battle. Oh, 30,000 health. Ignore everything I just said about this being really easy. To make matters worse, I barely had any arrows going into this fight. So, I had to switch to my spear and get into melee range to deal damage. Chill. But despite this, our team really came through. And this was much easier than I thought it would be. Where’d the girl go? Did she die? No, she’s fine. I found her in this church, and she asked me to catch a grizzlebolt in the number one wildlife sanctuary. But I had no idea where that was, and I didn’t want to look anything up during this playthrough until I got a better feel for the game. So instead, I saw this cool penguin looking boss on the map and went to challenge it. And this guy had just 1,500 health. We just took down a boss with 30,000. So I’m not sure what this little pen gang thought he was going to do to us, but oh my god, this guy’s insane. Oh my god. Okay, so I got a crossbow and some arrows. So we’re going to go back over there and see if we can do it. But before we do, this egg’s about to finish. So, I’m excited to see what this turns out to be. Oh, it is new. Cinnamon 10% increase in player attack. That’s good. Okay, it’s the little penguins are dead, so it’s just a big boss. Come on. Come on. Yeah, there we go. Okay, we did it. It’s day 15. We’re level 18. This might be really dumb. We are going after the kingpekka. This Kingpekka is another one of those world bosses. However, this one is different because it’s six levels above us. And also, just look at this thing. It’s an absolute monster. Oh, it hits through our shield in one hit and is barely scratched by any of my attacks. So, this fight was incredibly close. Oh, okay. We need to run. Oh, I got to remember to catch this. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to. Come on. Yes. We did it. We did it at level 18. And with Kingpack at our side, I was feeling pretty confident. So, I did yet another boss that was several levels above us. Then on day 16, I was visited by a PAL recruiter who offered to sell us a new pal called Serpent. That dude definitely can surf, but he’s got surf in the name. The reason I wanted such a pal that could surf is because I now have a mission that had pinged the location of the wildlife sanctuary. And with all of that water in between us, a surfing pal was our ticket to getting there. But before we surf over to the wild sanctuary, I decided to get this weapon called a pengulet rocket launcher. That’s awesome. Unfortunately, it’s a one-time use because the pengulet just dies from the explosion, so I didn’t end up using it. Okay, this looks way I thought I’d just be like an island. Criminal activity underway. I guess because it’s a wildlife sanctuary I’m probably not supposed to enter and steal all of their pals, but also I have a mission for it, so I just decided not to get caught. After catching the egg deer for a mission, I stuck around for quite some time, but wasn’t able to find a grizzlebolt. So, we’ll be coming back for that one later. On day 19, while out exploring, I heard a familiar sound effect. Why are we getting the most basic lucky Pokémon? The two starting ones. All right. I then found this new area with exploding bees, crazy gorilla rat dudes, and a moss panda. So, I brought in some backup. Remember that lucky cativa we caught? Well, it gets a 15% increase to his damage just for being lucky. It also just so happened to have the muscle head skill, which gives a 30% boost to damage. Even with the coward passive, that’s still a 35% boost to damage. So, I put it on the team. Get it. Get his ass. Get his ass. Oh my god, this thing’s insane. Why have I not been using it? I found this dude called Dart and he had a pretty crazy looking pal called Incinor. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. But unfortunately for Dart and their Incinam, I had a rock. What’s he doing? Okay, I think we found the strat. Can I catch his pal? Oh my god, I can. This was definitely a gamble because well, you remember what happened last time we stole someone’s pal. But that’s a new PAL and we need it for the Palpedia. So, it’s a risk I’m willing to take. And in the time it took to catch this Incinam, Kativa managed to completely solo that level 23. I caught a bunch of the pals in this area, but ended up dying to one of the Bgard self-destruct. It really was feeling like some of these attacks were just undgeable in this game. You just have to sit there and tank it. Oh my god, there’s a dodge roll button. What is it like day 20? I just found this out. On day 21, just 2 days after the last one, I found another lucky pal. Wa! Another lucky. And it’s another I mean, we’re in the starting area, but these can’t be that rare. Also, side note, why is this one so huge? All of my other lucky pals are maybe double the size of the original. This dude looks to be at least quadruple. No, wait. I hear another one. What? I think this is the same day. This is not rare. It can’t be. These lies were a real pain to catch, especially because they were only level four. I had to do enough damage to boost our capture rate, but not too much to the point where I kill it and fail the lucky. So, after this encounter, I finally stopped being lazy and crafted a mercy ring. This is an accessory that prevents you from killing your target, and instead we’ll leave it at 1 HP, making the whole catching experience so much easier. By day 22, I had registered 51 PALS into our Palpedia out of 155. While we’re technically on pace here, that pace had slowed down significantly as we started entering the new higher level areas. It takes too many pal spheres and too many deaths to collect them all in a timely matter. So, I decided to start power leveling. And to do so, I started catching 12 of every pal from the starting zone. You see, Power World has a mechanic that awards you a significant exp boost for the first 12 times that you capture a specific PAL. By day 25, I had reached level 28 and am now nearly 10 levels above the area I was struggling with before. So, I rounded up the rest of the pals here before traveling to the next tower. And in the moment, I thought this fight felt pretty easy. In fact, now that I knew how to dodge roll, it felt even easier than the first tower. However, I failed to notice this timer on screen. If that timer reaches zero, you fail the fight and have to try again. And we cut it really close. But now that we’re level 30. Oh yo, there’s something Terraria related. I was so sure this was all going to be post game. Okay, how do we get predator cores? We need to know. Now, like I said earlier, I haven’t been looking anything up this far in the playthrough. However, I really wanted to get her first terraria item, so I caved for this weapon. Predator cores are obtained from these rampaging pals that can be found in certain locations on the map. They’re stronger and larger variants of normal pals with unique abilities. This relaxaurus was actually something I needed for the Palpatia still, but unfortunately these predator pals are impossible to catch. The next one I found was called Tyrant, and this one was insane. It was melting our Kingpaca and Kativa, so I just tried to kite it around this cliff, but then it just disappeared. I think it made me clicked through the wall. I don’t know. Either way, we had to come back later and try again. But this time, we had a gig of shields and a more enhanced Katto. I then found this rampaging pal called Lavander, which is like a Salazle, but with somehow even more fanervice. It’s a little cursed. I don’t like that. Oh my god. Was the heart really necessary, dude? Anyways, this one was only level 26, so it was very easy to defeat. And so, after 32 days, we were finally able to craft our first Terraria item. Okay, it should launch a projectile. Um, and they bounce. Oh my god, they go so far. I got to be careful not to hit stuff like that. What did I hit? You know what? I’m level 33. Remember that big king of the forest guy? I think we can take him. Especially with this meow mirror. Let’s go. Oh my god, it’s going through. I don’t like that it’s going through. Like that’s a recipe for disaster. That’s doing some good damage, though. We are absolutely melting it, especially cuz it’s five levels above. And I’m so sorry for the sound effects. You will not get used to it. This is so absurd. It’s even more like just goofy in a more realistic looking game. Like in Terraria, it’s goofy enough, but this is this is another level. I love it though. Okay, I think it’s 2%. What? What? What? Why did that work? I’m so glad it did, though. We got the the mamist guy. On day 32, I tried fishing once and decided I would never do that again. And then stumbled across this desert. Oh my god, it’s just like Bowser. Digto Twice is an excellent mining pal, so I made sure to catch a couple for our base. I continued catching every new pallet that I came across and defeated the various bosses scoured across the map. Things were going great. I was super happy with our Palpedia progress, our level, all of our lucky Pokémon, and even a Terraria weapon under our belt. Oh, here’s a summoning altar. Let’s do this. I’m curious as to what this is. So, in this cave structure over here, we’ve been able to send some of our pals on expeditions. After some time, if they’re successful, they come back with a bunch of rewards. usually some palphars, palium, ore, food, and then these balanor fragments. With these fragments, you can craft a slab that will summon a powerful pallet at this altar. Now, because I wanted to catch this balanor, I decided to put my pals away because I figured they would just nuke it down before I had the chance to catch it. If you summon a powerful boss your base, there’s a chance that all strikers in your base will be destroyed and all pals on base will incapacitate. Okay, that’s a crazy warning. Let’s just run from it. Oh my god. Okay, I see why they gave you that warning. What the? Oh no. Is this still here? I need to lure it away or something. Where did I die? Oh my god. I’m just getting instant. I’m getting instant kills. What is this? It was level 30. I’m going to try and save quit cuz I cannot kill this. I definitely won’t be able to catch it. Okay. Yeah, it’s gone. Oh, what the base? That bellow was a raid boss, which is why it had 300,000 health and was oneshotting me. You’re supposed to fight it alongside all of your pals at the base. And even then, it can be very difficult. But because I was six levels over it, I naively thought that it would be just like all the other bosses that I fought despite that warning. And because of that, I had to spend all of the next day painstakingly putting my base back together. It’s day 37 and we have 80 registered. That’s pretty good. I’d like to get some progress down there cuz I feel like we do better. I barely did anything in this snow area. So, we’ll probably start with that. But before that, we needed to get some cold resistant armor. So, I started farming lambballs for cloth. Oh my god, the meow mirror. It was the Meow Mir. It wasn’t me. Don’t shoot. Don’t shoot. Oh god. I knew this would happen. It’s too Why are there so many infantry here? There never were. If I go to the water, they’ll they’ll never be able to chase me. They’re swimming. Where are these guys? Why is he over here? There’s no reason this man should be on this wreck. They’re just spawning in. It doesn’t matter where I go. They just teleport spawn in and start shooting me. What if they drop good loot? Should I try and fight them? The PF were seemingly unkillable. They teleport around quickly regen any damage you could possibly deal. And the more you resist, the higher level they get. Oh, they’re getting stronger. Can you not kill them? So, at this point, you either have to save an exit or let them kill you, which is so lame. Okay, guys, this is pathetic. I’ve just been standing here for like 5 minutes. You guys not killed me yet? After catching some of the new ice pals, I noticed this boss location in the distance. It’s the green, like the grass cinder. It just looks so funny. Okay, so I’ve had a mission to go over here for like quite a long time. So, we’re probably leveled enough to do it now. So, let’s go for it. On the way to the tower, I captured every new pal that I could find. And by far the coolest one was this pyron who easily secured a spot on the team. Uh, most of my team died and I forgot to get them again. So, we’ve got a few melacers here that I was just catching for wool. Um, so we’ll just see how it goes. I think it’ll be fine. It was not fine. This guy is a really, really strong pal called Orzer, which reminds me of like a mix between toxicity and garrop. So, I was really hoping we’d find this guy in the wild at some point. Once I had my proper team, the fight was luckily pretty easy. Okay, we can make the piran saddle and hopefully it’s quicker. And this thing absolutely holds. I’m super happy we found it. The next mission at heading northeast to the PF tower. Finally, I could enact my revenge. But on the way there, I noticed something strange. Dude, that just looks like Lucario’s head. I mean, I guess it’s just a dog head, but still, I’m seeing Lucario here. After making some base upgrades and catching some of the pals in the new area, on day 43, I was ready to challenge the next tower. Oh, this guy immediately looks stronger. Wait, is this just going to be an army of soldiers? Oh, this is going to suck. My Meowir is not great at ranged. Like, can Kativa even hit him? I gave Kativa a bunch of range attacks and tried again. And things were going well until time out. What? There’s a timer. Oh no. It was evident that I wasn’t actually ready for this tower yet. So I started exploring again. And on day 44, I found something rather familiar. I recognize those trees. Oh, it says here a level 45 boss. So, it’s a little higher level for us, but we might be able to do it. Wa! I wasn’t expecting this. It’s playing the theme and everything. This is so cool. Oh, hell yeah. Blue slime, green slime. Oh, sh Oh my god. I’m actually Why are they so strong? Okay, we caught one. Oh, that gave us hallowed bars. Oh, it’s the demon eyes. Oh They’re so creepy. Dying to the ads at the start really puts into perspective how unprepared I was for this. But I couldn’t help but go back in to try and stake some more Terraria loot. Nice. Okay, got the demon eye. Oh, there’s a chest. What do we get? Hello helmet schematic. Can we craft it at a production assembly line? Okay, so we’re going to have to find all of the schematics for the armor. That’s how they’re going to do it. There’s another chest over here. And oh, we got the same one. Hallowed headgear. Never mind. Now, for all of my Terraria viewers out there, you’ll know that this has some pretty cool implications. The different helmet types boost different damage variants. You have melee, magic, ranged, and summoner. Two helmet variants all but confirms that we have multiple Terraria weapons left to obtain. So, I kept searching around for more chests to hopefully loot some of them. With no map, it really felt like a maze down here. There are so many paths to take and the enemies respawn after a while, so I can’t just follow the enemies to find new areas, but eventually we found this underground house. Oh, that’s really cool. Wo, they got like dart traps. I was expecting just a few craftable items in the game from the crossover, so this whole dungeon was a pleasant surprise. After looting some more chests, I stumbled across the cavern area where I caught a red and purple slime. Oh, it’s the glowing mushroom area. That looks so cool. Wo! Shumer. In addition to the terrar enemies, there are some regular pals sprinkled here and there as well, which was great for my palpedia progress because I was still missing most of them. Unfortunately, these pals were also quite difficult to catch, so I had to leave the cave bad for later. I then descended further down to the underground hall biome. The pals here were even stronger, so I just tried running past them to hopefully find the boss, but was unsuccessful. However, we didn’t leave empty-handed this time because we had a ton of hallow bars and schematics from that run. That actually looks sick. Oh, we get a cape, too. Oh, yeah, dude. So, on day 46 with our new armor, we went back in to find the boss. And I was also able to find a room that I missed the first time. Is that a life crystal? Yep. And it works the exact same way. Upon use, our life is permanently increased. Yep, there’s a chest here. Excalibur schematic. Nice. Oh, this looks like we’re almost nearing the end of it. The music cut out, too. Yeah, I think we’re just about at the end of it. Let’s go for it. This is going to be hard. Maybe it won’t be that hard, actually. It’s only got 4,000 health. We are tanky. Is it going to have summons like it does in uh Terraria? Yep. I thought so. Okay, they die in one hit, though, so that’s good. And unfortunately, it bugged. So, we couldn’t access the final chest or catch the eye of Cthulhu on our first attempt. But with the help of Pyon, I was able to get back to the boss quite quickly now that I knew where it was. What is happening right now? Okay, phase two. This might get really hard unless it’s bugged. Okay. No. Yeah. Oh my god. been all pixelated. Nice. They gave us a bunch of halibars. Uh, is that it though is the question. Oh no, we get gold chests. Okay, celestial sigil. That’s for Moonlord. However, it’s another raid boss. So, this is going to be a long-term goal for us. And Terraprisma. The Excalibur was easy enough to craft, just requiring hollow barbas. The Terrapisma, however, palmetal ingots. I don’t even know about those yet. You know what that means? more catching and boss battles to level up. The levels were really starting to slow down at this point in the game, so it took five whole days to get to level 44. While waiting for the palmetal ingots to smelt, I decided to run through the Terraria dungeon again. I wouldn’t realize it at the time, but we got an insanely rare drop. This was no ordinary night glow. This was an epic nightlow. Each schematic can drop in five different rarities from this event. Each tier is more powerful and more rare than the last. Epic just so happens to be the second highest tier, so we’ll definitely be using this item. All right, it’s day 52. We can get our powmetal ingots, which will give us, I think, everything we need for the terrorism, which I’m really excited to get. It’s only got 90 attack, but it summons nine of these swords, so that might still be pretty good. I quickly found out that we can swap to other weapons without the summons going away, just like in Terraria. So, even if this weapon deals barely any damage at all, at the end of the day, it’s still extra damage you otherwise wouldn’t have. And well, oh my god. [Laughter] I then took our new weapon back to the Tur dungeon to properly try it out. Now, of course, against highle pals, each individual hit doesn’t do that much damage, but because there are so many blades and they strike so fast, the DPS is still incredible. However, it does have one drawback. This thing’s already halfway through its durability. That’s not great. Vortex meter. Let’s go. This dungeon has an incredibly short reset timer of just 2 minutes. So, I was able to grind this dungeon over and over to find all the drops. I think I’m going to try and catch it this time. We’ve got three legendary spears to do it, but I would love to be able to catch this. 16%. Come on. Come on. Again. Oh my god, that almost missed. We still have one more after this. Let’s go, dude. We have the eye of Cthulhu. That’s definitely going on the team. Okay, we’re up to the boss again. I completely forgot to try out the vortex feeder last time. Um, but we’ll send out our own eye of Cthulhu here and try this out. Oh, that’s so good. Oh my god. And it took forever to get through that like what 24 bullets. So that’s good. I don’t know that I’ll use it though cuz the ammo just getting all that ammo is going to suck. Uh-oh. I feel like I shouldn’t be looking at this. I think I bugged it. It’s just kind of standing there and taking it. All right. Well, I’m not really sure what happened or what caused that, but let’s go see what we got. Nothing. Second chest. Nothing. And so I kept running the dungeon until day 53 where we found terror blade schematic. Nice. Okay, that’s what we need. How far does this go? What’s the range on it? Oh, it just goes. And after equipping our new armor, that puts us to 4,297 health. I then repaired our weapon and paid a visit to that PF tower again. And look how much damage we’ve already done. What is this, dude? I can’t even tell what’s going on. Just all the numbers. Oh my god. Don’t die. That’d be really sad. That’s ridiculous. Oh my god. Okay, we did it. I almost died cuz I couldn’t see what was happening because of all the numbers. We killed that in like under a minute. That is ridiculous. I was feeling incredibly powerful. So much so that I went straight to the next tower. I got to the top of this mountain where the tower is, but took a detour for the side quest. If we give the wanderer wo, we get 100,000 exp. I caught this alpha wo that I remembered seeing on the map, but I figured it’d probably be best to save this one. But thanks to our palpedia, I found that wampos can also spawn in the wildlife sanctuary number two. Woah, that looks insane. And surprisingly, it wasn’t too hard to catch. One, two, three. All right, we got what we came here for. But sadly, this was the wrong one. There are different variants of some of the pals in this game, notated by one of nine suffixes that reflect their type. They get their own B entry in the Palipedia, but it’s more or less the same pal. And unfortunately, this person very specifically wanted a normal wo, not the bow tan version. And I felt really stupid when I saw one wandering around further down this mountain. But hey, we got some extra pals out of that side quest, so it wasn’t a total waste of time. Damn. Okay, shadow beak 89. Yeah. Okay, that’s good. I have Cthulhu in. Oh my god, this is absurd. I cannot even imagine the like the epic or legendary terrorisma. Equipping this weapon felt like the world difficulty had just been switched to baby mode. In her current state, the idea of failing was inconceivable until it broke. So, I tried again, but this time I swapped over to the hallowed hood to boost our terror prism damage, which would hopefully do the trick. Yes, we did it. Just barely. Look at that durability left. We got to get more palispheres cuz we are failing so hard to catch anything. So, I think we’ll work on that. So, on day 57 and 58, I leveled up my base to make a few additions to our small army of slaves. I made a sphere assembly line so I could access legendary spheres. Unfortunately, these are pretty expensive and need a ton of stone to craft because for some reason they need cement. I don’t know how they expect anyone to throw these things, unless you’re me, of course. But in order to acquire all the stone, I decided to finally set up a new base with some dig toys and other piles to help keep them fed. Then, using a guild chest, you can think of it like an ender chest in Minecraft, I was able to access all of the resources from the main base. I also made this draft table which allows us to combine five schematics together to create one of the next rarity. So, all of the dupe drops that we received from the Terraria dungeon are actually quite useful. On day 59, I got back to catching pals because while we have 112 out of 155 pals registered, I figured things would slow down considerably as we get to the end game. So, I caught a few of the stragglers in the snow area we were just at, completed some bosses, and went back to the wildlife sanctuary number one. Yeah, that grizzlebolt that what’s her face was trying to get us to catch like way back around day 10 or whatever. It’s on this island. We just didn’t see it. And it’s no wonder I never found it because it took 15 minutes of refreshing spawns on the island before I found a Grisbolt. This has been the rarest pal we’ve obtained by far. Afterwards, I decided to revisit the other sanctuary as well to try and find any paddles that I had previously missed. Oh, here’s one. That was fast. Okay, sweet. I don’t know if we got lucky or if this one’s not as rare, but either way, we’ll take it. No, you Fortunately, I found another one a minute later. Then I traveled to the third and final wildlife sanctuary located on the northeast corner of the map. This time around I looked up a list of all the spawns so that we don’t have to go back later. And there were a ton of strong looking bows here. My favorites being Orzer and Faris. Lars is even faster than our beacon. So on day 65, I made the saddle and decided to use it to run through the terrar dungeon again. Both for rarer drops and also some of the piles that we missed from before. Okay, we have enough to get this. I think we should do it. Um, this is going to be an expensive one to repair, but hopefully it has a lot of durability. Okay, that seems pretty solid. But honestly, I think we got pretty unlucky cuz I feel like if we got an epic tear Prisma, that would have done so much more damage. Oh, wa. That’s strong, too. 350 defense, 800 health. Okay, so when I don’t need the extra damage on anything, I can uh put this thing on. Oh no. Oh, I just fell through the map. Okay, well, we’re going to have to use this. Oh my god, don’t that I don’t even know if I can show that. Okay. Oh no, where’s all my stuff? Normally, after dying in the dungeon, my items would show up at spawn, but this time around, they were nowhere to be found. I went back to the dungeon, hoping to find them where I died, and my items were gone. my weapons, armor, accessories, everything. Oh, wait, never mind. They’re at the second base. False alarm. Oh, thank god, dude. I thought I lost everything. By day 69, I finally found the uncommon version of the terrorism. While the damage doesn’t see a huge boost or anything, when combined with the increased durability, it’s a very solid upgrade. And with that, I figured we were ready for the next boss. We’re level 48 now. We have the crazy health bonus from our helmet, an uncommon terrapisma, an epic nyclo, and some very capable pals. Okay, we got we’re getting absolutely melted. I could barely survive for over a minute in this fight. And in that time, I just scratched the surface of that health bar. Okay, well, that went horribly. We needed more exp and stronger pals. So, I went back to the new area and searched around. It was at this point where I really wished we could have six party members like you can in Pokemon because there were a ton of fun pals here like this and dojan which I was very tempted to put on the team but they just couldn’t quite crack that top five. Then while searching for new pals to go for in the Palpedia I stumbled across Tarantress whose habitat is way down in the southwest of the map. But with all that space there’s bound to be several new pals there. So I made my way over. Level 54. We’re definitely here early. I was able to catch some of these new pals, but being a good five to seven levels below made it quite difficult and took many pal spheres to get it done. Before long, I ran out of legendary spheres and had to return to the base. On day 76, we found our first legendary. Oh my god. Okay, so I found a level 60 legendary ste of ice. It was just chilling in the wild here. It remind me a lot of the first generation of Pokémon where there was no buildup or story around the legends. They were just existing in a cave somewhere. Suicun is my favorite legendary Pokemon. And this pal looks to be inspired by it. Especially when you look at it shiny form, so I really wanted it. We’ll give it a shot. Okay, we’re doing one damage. That’s probably not good. I think we just bail. So, I had two main goals for these next few days. Catch anything new that I could find to keep filling in the Palpedia and get as many levels as possible to help prepare ourselves for the frost alien fight because I wanted to catch this pal by any means necessary. This unfortunately meant benching some pals in favor of some stronger ones. You’ve done us well, Kativa. You can rest now. By day 81, I’d reached level 50 and switched gears to prepare for the fight by building a palence condenser, something that I could have made at level 14. This device allows you to combine several pals together to increase the level of its partner ability. There are two abilities that I was after. The first is an ability that increases the fire damage of palace in your party, and the other ability increases and changes the player’s damage to fire. So, we’ll be targeting Ruby, Kelpsy, Ignis, and Gobin Ignis for our team. These pals won’t really be used in the fight actively, and we’ll instead just be passively buffing our main pal and us, so we don’t have to worry about leveling them up. You need a ridiculous number of pals to max up the partner ability. So, in the interest of time, I settled for partner level three. I then crafted as many ultimate spheres as I could afford. And on day 84, it was time to capture first legend. And despite being 10 levels under Frost Stallion, we were dealing a respectable amount of damage. Our main challenge with this fight was surviving the onslaught of powerful attacks, but I figured out a strategy to help deal with that. I love how we can attack through the wall. This is pretty broken. We’re almost there. 1k health. Okay, 5%. That’s pretty good with a crit. Come on. 24. Just keep it up. We have 20 of these. Okay. One, two. Oh, easy, dude. Let’s go. We honestly did not have to do any of this. We We didn’t have to bring these guys. The Nightlow and the Terranisma would have done one damage each anyways, but we did it, dude. Let’s go. So, here’s a Frost Stallion. This thing’s huge. It’s kind of insane. It’s got the legend passive plus 20% attack and defense in addition to the ice emperor plus 20% ice damage. But Frostellion isn’t the only legend in this game. While getting the goblin Ignis, I stumbled across another legend. So, we’ll be setting our sights on that one next. Wow, that did so much damage to it. Unfortunately, there’s no ice pillar to hide behind this time around. So, even with Frost Stallion on our side, I got bodied. No. Oh, we’re screwed. We’re so screwed. Not good. Okay, we’re back. We’re going to do it again. Wow, we’re doing so much damage. We got to run for this. Run for this. Okay, now we’re good. Two, three, four, five. Oh, chill. Oh Okay. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Okay, we almost have it though. If we actually do this, I’ll be shocked. Oh, no. No. I’m burned. I’m going have to just start throwing balls at, I think. No, dude. Damn it. Oh. I got it. Well, that was lucky. All right. Being a jet pal, I figured it would be fast, but I was absolutely blown away by how much this mount clears anything I’ve ever used. Oh, and it comes with a missile launcher, so that was pretty cool, too. It’s day 89. Um, which is great for us. There’s so much left to catch, and we have 11 days to do it. Not even, cuz this one’s probably almost over. So, let’s get on our mount. Luckily, we’re fast now. That’s huge. And we do have like a good stock of spheres, so we can go look for stuff. So, I’ve just had a look around this island. I haven’t been able to find anything new. So, I think at this point, I’m just going to check the Palpedia and then start looking up entries cuz we have like 10 days left to catch a lot of PALS. We are still missing quite a few entries here. Um, especially near the end. We filled in most of the uh first area, not including a lot of the forms. I have no idea how many of those are missing, like the B entries. But I’m going to exclude those for now, and then if we have time to get those, I will go for them. If I didn’t look up the entries, there is no way I even get close to completing the Palpedia within 100 days because some of these spawn areas are so far out of the way that I never would have found this. I guess you can kind of see it off of the coast, but there’s just no way. There was another icy island just like this one up north, but with much higher level pals, including a legendary for some reason. That was hard. Glad we got it, though. Wait, is that a legend? Neptilious. Oh, and Neptilious had the coolest cry out of any pal, hands down. So, even if it wasn’t a legend, it would still have made the team. Okay, so number 137, we actually have to breed for. I have not done that at all. I don’t even know how. Luckily, it’s pretty easy. First, you assign two parents to your base, and the pal you want determines which parents you choose. For entry 137, we have to breed Anubis and Frost Stallion. Then we pick them up, throw them in the ranch, place a cake in the chest, and then wait a little while for the egg. Oh, is it done? Yes. Huge frozen egg. Okay, now we just place this in the incubator, and then we should hopefully get the Bastigor, I think it’s called. Okay, it is day 92. We’re level 52. We have a few more entries to get. We’ve got two spaces here. 126 to 127. These are kind of awkward. I think there the meteorite event spawns. There’s just the different pals that can spawn. So, I did some research and apparently meteorites only spawn like once every three hours on a very strict timer, which is not good for us. So, I changed gears and went to go find and catch Palus, one of the last remaining legendary pals. Oh, there’s two of them. Oh, this might be really hard. The two bosses at once dynamic was really fun, and with the help of my three legends, it was a pretty even fight. Okay, Nips, let’s go. Don’t kill it, though. Oh my god. Put the ring on. Put the ring on. No, I killed one by accident. Okay. All right. We’re going to have to do this again. That’s so annoying. Oh, I’m dead. I traveled back there only to find out that they were both gone. I guess because we killed one of them before dying, we technically completed the fight. Bosses like these do respawn, but we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to try again, which isn’t ideal because the time is really winding down. Okay, Bellanor’s slab. So, we tried to do this a long time ago. We’re going to give it a proper go again. This time, we know to keep our pals out. You’ll notice we are not at her base, so if this goes horribly wrong, we’ll be okay. Okay, this is going good so far. Holy I cannot see anything. This is insane. Whoa. Okay, we still take good damage. I just need to focus on dodging cuz our pals are good. They’re fine. Okay, can we catch it? 0%. Okay, doesn’t look like it. I’ll try with a legendary. Oh, it died. Okay, well, we did it. That was a lot easier. Oh, okay. We got an egg. So, this probably is how we get this. Nice. Okay, so we can’t quite incubate that yet, but we will do that later. Now, if you recall, this one we might not be able to do. There was also a Moonlord celestial sigil schematic and everything. So, we’re going to try that and see what happens. Can we get a Moon Lord? I just realized if we got an egg from Bellanoir and and to get that to get that pal, we might be able to get a Moon Lord here. I don’t know what level this thing is, but let’s see. Here we go. Moon lord. Oh, is it the same? Yeah, we have to kill like the eyes and stuff. Whoa, that’s Oh, this is I know not to get by this. Okay. Oh, the music’s nice. That’s not good. This is not good. He’s so strong. The Moon Lord fight did not disappoint. This thing is insane. And I have no idea how I’m going to beat this before our 100 days are up, but I’m going to do everything in my power to get it done. By now, it was day 93, so we could challenge the legendary duo again. Oh, did we get it? No, please. We have 10 left. Okay, this one. Okay, we’re in this. Let’s go. Okay, here we go. Come on. Get it. Four left. I do not want to have to go to the legends. Yikes. It’s my last one. Okay, we got a crit though. No. Oh, this is so bad. This is so bad. We don’t have the balls for this. Please, dude. One, two. Yes. And with that, we had caught all of the legends at the base. The Basor egg had just finished, so I could begin incubating the one from Bellar. It’s an hour, so it’ll definitely get done in time. As for the Palpedia, aside from the bee entries, which I’ll clean up if I have time, and the Bellanor egg that’s incubating, there were just three pals left. Two of which are from meteorites and the other is a raid boss that we don’t have access to yet. So, at this point, I decided to just work on the final tower boss. And I know it looked very difficult before, but we now have a team full of the most powerful pals to walk to Palpago’s Islands, and literally nothing could stand in. Wow. Okay. I generally thought that would be easy now. Even if we can’t beat all the tower bosses, if we could just take down Moon Lord, I’d be happy. And I think I cooked up a pretty good strategy for this one. So, we have 1 2 3 4 5 6 seven terapismas. The damage is there. It’s just the durability. And while I don’t have the time to grind for the rare terrapis for better durability, if I craft seven of them, that’s more or less the same thing. Here we go. Moon Lord time. Initially, the plan was to fly around the hands so that the terror prison could get all the damage in. Unfortunately, Moon Lord just kind of spins away when you do this and also I don’t have a dodge roll in the air, so this was not a good strategy. So, after Frost Alien went down, I continued on foot. The main attack to worry about is of course the death rate, just like in Terraria. But, it’s pretty easy to dodge if you just walk in and roll forward right when you see the flash. And the first half of the fight looked really good. The damage was there. I was able to bring it down around 50% health before half of the time it elapsed. However, by that point, all of our pals had died and the damage had dropped precipitously. The fight got way more difficult once all the ice had been popped. We now have several projectiles to worry about coming from all sides and angles. And while each hit didn’t do as much as the death ray, they really add up since I couldn’t find a way to dodge them consistently. Moon Lord stays up until the timer depletes. But as you can imagine, it was rather difficult to get my gear back. And by the time I did, there just simply wasn’t enough time left on the clock. But I still had a bunch of Terror Prisma durability left. So, I wasn’t about to give up because the first phase was pretty easy. I decided to start off with what we’ll call the B team. That way, I could save my strongest pals for phase two where we need the damage the most. But right away, I could tell the difference with the damage. Calling it the B team is very generous. We were really struggling to get to phase two, and I had to take frequent breaks to go to regen. So, by the time we opened up the core, we only had 3 minutes left. But just before going down, I managed to spawn in our most powerful pals. Okay, maybe we’re doing a lot of damage here. Come on, pals. You got two minutes. Don’t die on me. They’re blasting them. They’re blasting them. Come on. 75k. Please. Please. I’m going to reload while we still have pals. Okay, minute left. 30 AK. Come on. Get him. Get him. 5k. Yes. I don’t know what that gives us. The boss eliminated. Our guys are tweaking out. They are so They’re like, “Why did you just make me do that?” Braing crystal raises level by one. Is that it? No moon lord egg. Yeah, the rewards are pretty underwhelming. I was really hoping for a moonlord egg. That was kind of my whole plan for the tower boss, but I mean, it’s worth a shot with the pals we have now. This boss was a major skill check. Thus far, I’ve been able to get away with kind of just spamming dodge roll whenever I see an attack coming and blasting them with their pals and weapons. But this boss has a lot of attacks that if you’re not positioned or ready for, you’ll get hit by. Okay, we definitely have the damage. It’s just living I cannot do. I tried everything I reasonably could with just a few days left. I buffed our pals, got this grappling gun to help me dodge it, did my best to learn the attack patterns, and I was getting pretty close, but oh, I don’t know. We have just three days left to get this done. I really wasn’t sure if I was going to make it, but on day 97, I was granted a gift to brighten my mood. Oh, meteorite. Hopefully something new. Yes, dude. That’s the one we need. That’s so huge. One of the two remaining panels that I need is Xenogard, a meteorite spawn. But, as I said earlier, these meteorites are on a 3-hour timer. And since we’re just about to pass over to day 98, the next meteorite won’t spawn in time. But even if it did, we wouldn’t be able to get Xenolord either. This is another raid boss that requires fragments from the final expedition, and we don’t have enough time left to get enough fragments for the slab. So, unfortunately, we’re out of luck, and it’s now impossible to complete the Palpedia in time. At this point, all I could really work towards is getting the final boss defeated. I’ve only got enough fragments for like one last go at this. I don’t know if we’re going to do it. I really hope we do, but if not, we gave it our best shot. If we had more time um for this video, I would take some time, just level up, make it easier for us, but we don’t have that luxury. If I lose here, I don’t have enough materials to repair all of our weapons, and won’t have enough time to gather them before day 100. I channeled everything I had for this one last attempt. I swapped my pals out of dangerous attacks whenever possible to keep them alive. I cycled through my team to keep all of my most powerful attacks on cool down. And I paid close attention to the different attacks, doing my very best to dodge them, but it was beginning to look like it still wasn’t enough. Genuinely, I don’t know if I’m doing this early, don’t have the right gear, or if I’m just bad at the game, maybe even some combination of the three. But this fight was far more difficult than anything I had done previously. Come on. Oh my god, we did it. Oh my god. Again, that was the last attempt we could have done. Like I did not have the fragments to continue that. Oh my god. And our Terrapis is like I think they’re all done. We had Okay, we had a little bit of durability. I was about to die. Okay. Oh no. Is that another boss? That’s another boss. You’re telling me this is the dude I’m expected to beat with just one day left? No, it’s day 100. I’m going home. On day 100, I took down all of the ore, stone, and logging sites, the berry plantations, everything. I wanted to spend the last day with the pals that got me here. The pals that slaved away for the last 99 days so that I might have a chance at completing my goals. I know I didn’t really give them the choice in the matter, but I was really appreciative. And while I wasn’t able to complete every goal that I set, I was still really happy with what we were able to achieve in the last 100 days. This game was honestly so much more fun than I thought it would be. And as a lifelong Pokémon fan, it was really refreshing playing a game with a new take on the genre. Best day ever when I open YT and there's a Gungnir upload
Hello! I'm hoping the Terraria crossover is actually fun. Still waiting for 1.5
This is tuff twin
Gunknir
WE LOVE TERRARIA
GUNGNIR IS BACK
Does anyone else find it sad that terraria collabed with palworld? Like palworld is such a mean spirited remake of a franchise that it is made for kids. I know terraria’s not the most kid friendly game but it’s kind of like they’re saying that Pokemon is stupid and you’re stupid for enjoying it. Idk it just makes me sad.
Please do more Palworld vids I love your content
I love palworld, I'm glad to see a youtuber I like playing it
YIPPEE
I love how Gungnir is censoring every curse word except "shit" for some reason lmao
hi
The crossover might actually push me to try Palworld for the first tbh… when goes on sale again, beacuse im not in a hurry to get it.
I’m glad to see this

Even in post, it still gets you.
Vixy is really good early game, you can put it in the pasture and it will poop out spheres and arrows… I don’t understand the anatomy but I’m here for it. Im still watching so if you figure that out later my bad
This gives ARK Survival plus Pokémon
I can seriously imagine a 3D terraria seeing this gameplay. It’s be so fantastical and pretty
uhmm p*kemon is actually considered a slur in the Palworld community
