The Best Armor Sets in Terraria. #terraria
I love all the armor sets in Terraria, but a few of them in particular stand out to me the most. So, here are my four favorite armor sets in Terraria. Number one, hollowed armor. I love the royal aesthetic of the hollowed armor, and it also has the coolest set bonus in the entire game. Number two, spooky armor. I don’t love summoner in general, but this armor set is undoubtedly awesome. Number three, shadow armor. The speed boost you get from this armor set is really nice in the early game, especially in boss fights. Number four, spectre armor. You cannot do a mage playthrough in Terraria without getting this armor set.

I came just to see the Spectre Armor and was not disappointed. It is the reason I never use the Moon Lord mage gear, I genuinely think it is better.
I’d put crystal assassin in the list because the dash is better than the shield of Cthulhu and it frees an accessory slot

Why are you using the spectre hood on daytime empress of light?
turtle and beetle armor are both essential for every melee playthrough.
1) Hallowed, versatile and all class also is the coolest with great dye-ability.
2)beetle, 2 modes buffing either your aggression or your tankiness also its purple so it is cool af.
3)Spectre, this mf hard carries mage as fun value and it is the best armor for multiplayer allowing you to heal EVERYONE.
4) obsidian, purple + whip armor its just really fun.
The crystal assassin armor is underrated.
It also kinda looks like the trans flag, which is a huge W.

Shadow Armor is so good, and I think its better than crimson Armor. the speed boost is so good
Obsidian armor was soooo good they had to nerf it
You could basically get it from Eater of Worlds and use it all the way up to Plantera, also has a Whip range bonus that no other summoner armor nor accessory has, which helped a lot with the evasion
Also, it looks cool as hell
Dark artist is my go-to post golem due to how annoying chlorophyte is to mine

I’ve done mage a good amount of times and never have i gotten specter armour. Although i wonder how the Dragon armour worked
I love chloraphite because I look like a sim character 😅
I literally use the old one's army mage set minus the helmet instead of the spectre armor.
It's got way more defense pretty good stats for mage and summoner even if you choose to use no summons or sentries it's super good for the mage stats alone
Don't forget… Pearlwood armor!

Crystal Assassin because of its well-rounded all-class stats and it's dash ability.
help me man ive defeated the game, defeated calamity, even Infernum I’ve defeated the other popular mod packs as well i’m at a wall where there’s nothing to do anymore and there’s no point in playing the game at this point WHAT DO I DO?

Hallowed and Spectre armor being the G.O.A.T.s.
Personnaly i don't really* think that hallowed armor has the best armor set, it think that goes to stardust or solar armor
Palladium is fucking broken
My favorite is obsidian because 1. first actual summoner set, 2. it is busted, and 3 it is dope asf
Forbidden armor deserves a mention, it is my fav set in the game. Mage and summoner have always felt like they mix well together, i wish there were more hybrid sets in the game

Forbidden Armor is critically underrated on how good it looks, and an "okay" set bonus
Ive played mage for like 10 playthroughs and never got spectre armor lol
My favorite set is titanium. Not only do I find the mask piece to be pretty cool, but the full melee set has an awesome effect where every now and then when you deal damage you get 20 seconds of invulnerability. It is the set embodiment of "Why are you hitting yourself" in my opinion.
Honestly pearlwood armour might be the highlight of the entire game
I like the tungstens armoes looks.
Bruh beetle armor with beetle shell gives you 15% damage reduction every second and stack 3 times (45% dmg reduc in 3sec)
Crimtane armor is better than shadow fight me
Pumpkin armor Bonus set is really good and underrated, 10% Damage to every class, you can literally use that until you get a better armor
I love the look of Tin.
crystal assassin armor is super underrated the free dash is incredible and the stat boosts are great too
Molten armor is definitely top 5 sets, the best set for pre wall and an absolutely iconic design
Pearlwood armor is underrated.
