what IS a calibrated sculk sensor??? #minecraft

There is a lot of different types of items in Minecraft. However, that was the creative menu. A lot of these items aren’t possible to get in survival, such as the spawn eggs. You can’t get them. But there’s one item every time I see it, I realize I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone use this in survival Minecraft. The calibrated skullk sensor. Have you ever seen someone use this in survival? Not to mention, this thing doesn’t even look like a vanilla block, let alone one you can get in survival. By putting a skull sensor in the middle and putting amethyst crystals like this, you can craft a calibrated skull sensor. I don’t think I’ve ever made this. question is, is this thing actually useful? What does it do? Well, to start off, the normal sculpt sensor can only hear me from 8 blocks away. Anything past that, it can’t hear at all. The calibrated skull sensor, however, can hear you from up to 16 blocks away. Something else you might notice is this side looks different to this side. That’s because this is where you calibrate it. Say if I put a redstone torch here, it has a redstone signal of 15. So, you’ll notice it doesn’t hear anything at all. But if I was to set off some TNT, well, this is going to hear it. I know that because there’s a vibration frequency chart. Looking at this, whatever the redstone signal is, that’s going to be the only thing that it can hear. The easiest way to do this is with a comparator, an electron with a book with 15 different pages on it. So, let’s say I set it to eight, which correlates to eating a food item. Whenever I eat food, it’s going to trigger the redstone. Meaning, you could have something like a secret trap where someone eats, it’s going to set off some TNT and kill them. Or maybe I set it to five for equipping armor, which makes it open a secret door only if I put on a chest plate. This is one of Minecraft’s most underrated items cuz you can do pretty much anything with

  1. Fishing farms have been nerfed in the recent updates, but some great minds like Ray made them possible again using these sculk sensors. The problem is it's very hard to obtain it, so it went from an early game farm to one almost no one makes. I'm personally having trouble getting the materials and by now I already have the enchantments I need, it's not worth it anymore.

  2. i have actually used this in one of my friends survival realms, made a cool hidden base so if you shovel a block in a certain area it opens the door (i know there are better ways to do this i just wanted to come up with my own design)

  3. Yes, I have actually seen somebody use it in survival. His name is Auro and he has a YouTube channel, I saw him use the calibrated sculk sensor when he played the broken script and had to detect enteties like Null
