Terraria, But ALL Minions Deal RANDOM Damage…

In this video, I try beating Terraria using minions only. However, each and every summon weapon that I find or craft will have its damage randomized. This means that the finch staff, for example, could have over a 100 damage, while the Stardust Dragon staff could only have one. Will I get lucky finding and crafting summoner weapons that have enough damage to take me all the way to Moon Lord? Let’s go find out. Here we go. Let’s go get my hands on the first minion, which is going to be the finch staff. If I’m not able to find one, then I’ll have to resort to myself for some tombstones, allowing Abigail’s flower to spawn. Oh, very nice. Found the egglet. Oh, no. Okay, I just made it to the ocean, which means there are no living witch trees on this side. Before I go check the left side, let’s try to find some water chests. There’s one over here. And this might be the last one. Okay, break that and teleport. Okay, close call. Made it out with six health left. This isn’t looking so good. Oh, there’s one. There’s one. Come on. Okay, there’s two. Please. Moment of truth. Pinch staff. Yes. Oh my god. 291 summon damage. Are you kidding me? What is that? No way my first minion has that high of a damage. Let’s go. Okay. Okay, my early game progression is going to be a breeze. Now, wait. And let’s check out how much damage I gain from this menacing guide to plant fiber cordage. It gives plus 4% more damage. So right now 291 equip 302. Absolutely insane. Is there any point of checking out Abigail’s flower now? I mean, what are the chances of Abigail’s flower getting a higher damage than the finch staff? H, let’s just do it anyways. Doesn’t hurt. I am going to finish checking out the left side, though. Oh, right. and is also nighttime. So, let’s make use of this time to collect as many fallen stars as possible to raise up my max mana. Oh, no. Don’t think I can find any more water chests. Oh, one here. No, no. God damn it. I’m not going to build a house just yet. I think it’s really important for me to collect as many fallen stars as possible now that it is nighttime. The house can come later. Okay, these two marks my 20th fallen star. It’s almost morning. Can I get at least four more? One more to go. Come on. Yes, over there. Quick, quick, quick. And got it. Oh, one over there as well. And another one. No. Okay, that officially marks the day. Let’s head back and turn all my fallen stars into mana crystals. Now I have 120, which means I’ll be able to reummon my minions a lot more frequently just in case if monsters get really close to me and my minions won’t be able to get back to me in time. Let’s clear this area out a bit and then start building a house. All right, my inventory has been cleaned out. Let’s now take a look at Abigail’s flower. So, I’m just going to build up really high. jump off. And that’s how I’m going to spawn a bunch of tombstones. Abigail’s flower doesn’t necessarily need a graveyard biome to spawn in as long as there are tombstones on the ground and of course some space. So, I do need to clear out some trees. Okay, that should do it. All I got to do now is wait. While I wait, I’m going to find myself some more accessories and life crystals underground. Ooh, first gold chest. It’s a dead man’s chest. So, let’s clear out the traps. Okay, what’s it going to be? Angry band of regeneration. Not bad. Nice. Found my first life crystal. Oh, this might be enough for the ruby hook. Five. Oh, I need one more. What’s in here? Shoe spikes. That’s going to be 200 health. Oh my god, look at the amount of life crystals right there. Four of them. That looks so good. Okay, that is 280 health. That marks 300 health. Oh, okay. Suspicious looking eye. Just what I was looking for. If I can find the anklet of the wind, that would be perfect because I’ll be able to make lightning boots later on with the egglet. And there it is. It’s like thinking about it made it manifest into the chest. Let’s try to collect five more life crystals. Oh my god. Please tell me that’s enough. 13. And seriously, 14 again, just like rubies. Anyways, as I was saying, let’s try to find five more life crystals for max health and also either the diamonds or rubies for the hook. Oh, nice. Nature’s gift. Will this affect the mana cost of the finch staff in any way? Oh, it does. It just reduces it by one. Nah, I probably won’t be using it. Found the magic mirror. Okay, just need one more until max health. Oh, and there it is. Oh my god. Please tell me that’s a diamond. It is. Let’s go. Okay, I can make the diamond hook then. There we go. And that is max health. Let’s try to get one more so that I can make a heart lantern, which is right over there. Okay, got it. Now, I would teleport back, but the thing is I kind of want Hermes boots. If I can’t find it within the next, let’s say 10 minutes, then I’ll stop. Hopefully, it’s in this dead man’s chest. Block it off. Come on. Wait, what? No. Did I not clear out all the traps? I mean, I guess not. I guess I’m forced to be back up here. Okay, items have been sorted out into the chests. Let’s now craft some items. So, the diamond hook and the platinum pickaxe. I think what I’m going to do now is take on the eye of Cthulhu. So, let’s build a single platform arena. There we go. And let’s put down a campfire and get the show on the road. [Music] This boss is going to die in seconds. Here we go. and go. Go Finch, go. Yep. Oh my god. It didn’t even get a chance to dash. Honestly, I could stick with a finch staff even till hard mode, but I don’t know. It’s kind of boring just using the same minion over and over again for the bosses. So, what I’m going to do now is say goodbye to the finch staff and just wait for Abigail’s flower to spawn. Let’s speed things up by building a bed. There we go. I should also spread out the tombstones apart more. It just gives a better chance for Abigail’s flower to spawn. There we go. I’ve also managed to collect a bunch of jungle spores, stingers, and vine. So, I will be making the full jungle armor set. I know the magic damage and critical strike chance isn’t going to affect me at all, but I do gain a bunch of mana. I now have 200. I think I’ll put down a few more tombstones. Let’s place them down over on the right here. Oh my god, there it is. Finally. Moment of truth. Oh, come on. 24 damage. Well, I am a man of my own words. We’re going to use it. Let’s get rid of all the tombstones now. Okay, I’m going to build some NPC houses. There we go. And then head into the crimson to take on the brain of Cthulhu. I feel like I’m going to struggle with the spots a lot because of how slow Abigail is. I don’t think she can keep up with the creepers flying around. All right, the arena has been completed and I made sure to make it extra big cuz I know this fight is going to take a long time. Let’s go break the crimson hearts. Here we go. Back up. And it begins. Okay, she’s definitely able to do pretty consistent damage. I just need to be wary of the other monsters that come out. Okay. Oh, get up. Get up. Get up. It’s actually not bad. Okay, just a few more. Three more. Come on. Catch up to them. Ow. Okay, one more. God, these blood crawlers are so annoying. Second phase. Yep. Second phase is definitely going to take the most time. 500 more health. Let’s not choke here. We are so close. Come on. 100 left and done. Okay, that took a while. Now that I have some tissue samples and criminane bars, I’m going to craft myself the deathbringer pickaxe along with the crimson armor. Oh my god. Nope. Never mind. I’m missing a few more tissue samples. I really do not want to take on the brain of Cthulhu again cuz that took so long. I mean, it’s just pants, right? It’s not that big of a deal. Anyways, now that I have the deathbringer pickaxe, I’m going to mine all the way down to hell, mine some hell stone, and then craft myself the impath as my next summoner weapon. I pray that it’ll have a decent amount of damage to go against Skeletron. If it doesn’t, I think I might be screwed a little bit, but for sure, I know that Abigail’s flower will not work against Skeletron. That boss just moves way too fast. And as a level one Abigail, there’s just no way she can catch up. Now that I think about it, I probably should have gotten myself the Flink Spur coat. Then I would be able to summon out two minions at the same time. Yeah, I’ll go do that after I craft the MS staff. Oh my god. Yes. There we go. Finally got my hands on Hermes boots. All right, finally made it down to hell. Let’s go mine some hell stone. Oh, nice. Got an obsidian skin potion. That’s going to make mining hell stone a lot easier. Okay, got plenty of hell stone. Let’s make the molten pickaxe first. And now for the imp staff. Drum roll, please. Oh, 134. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Goodbye to Abigail. Hello, Imstaff. Wait, because the imps do a lot of damage, I think I can just go straight to taking down the queen bee rather than just the flinks. The B armor set is a lot better. And I think the armor set will allow me to summon out two more imps. Yeah, so the bee headgear increases my max number of minions by one. And same with the breastplate. Well, that settles it. Let’s go take down the queen bee. Okay, the arena has been set up. Let’s go summon the boss. Yeah, my imp is missing a lot of its shots. That is not good. It’s less than 50% health now. Okay, maybe I think I’ll just stand still for the rest of it. It’ll make it easier for my imp to kill it. There we go. Let’s open up the treasure bag. Okay, I got 26 Bwax total, but I need 30 for the full set. So, let’s take down the queen bee one more time. Okay, here’s another. I think I’m just going to break this one and then run all the way back to the arena that I built. Almost done. 500 more health. and done. Okay, let’s make the armor. But first, let’s check out the hornet staff. Okay, 28 damage. Let’s not make that. If it had some higher damage, I might have considered it. Okay, here we go. 15 defense. And with the full set on, my impath now deals 154 damage from 134. That’s a decent increase. And then I can now have three out at the same time. I’m all set to take on Skeletron. So, let’s head to the dungeon. There we go. Arena has been finished. And perfect timing. It is now officially nighttime. Let’s just get things started. I think this should be a breeze. Three, two, one. Yeah, look at that damage. Let’s target the hands. Okay, go down. Jump. Oh, you zombie. Don’t mess me up. Okay, that’s one head down. That’s two. Just the head now. Ow. Heal up there. Less than 1,000 health. And voila, we’re done. Now that I have access into the dungeon, let’s look for the cobalt shield and shadow key. Oh, and I see the bewitching table. Almost forgot about that. Okay, now I can have four minions out at the same time. And there’s the shadow key. All right, it is almost time to take on the wall of flesh. But before that, I’m going to go farm some tatter cloth from Goblin Scouts so that I can summon the Goblin Army manually. And after I defeat the army, I’m going to go search for the Goblin Tinkerer to combine my accessories together. And that is everything. Time to summon the army. Goblin army has been taken care of. So now let’s go search for the goblin tinkerer. Oh my god, there he is. That took a while. Okay, got myself the rocket boots and workshop. I’m now going to reforge the IM staff. Oh my god, 174 damage. Now it doesn’t cost a lot. So let’s try to get mythical on it. I think that’s possible. Godly. Maybe not. Mystic. There we go. Yep, that was right. That is sexy. For now, let’s just make lightning boots and the obsidian shield. And now I’m all set to take on the wall of flesh. Made it to the edge of the world. Let’s go ahead and summon the boss. game should do pretty well against this boss, especially because the projectiles can pierce through the hungri and just hit the boss directly. So, yeah, here we go. And then let’s target or make our minions target the boss. Yep. 1,000 damage per second. Oh, I’m not I’m not looking. Oh god, I wasn’t paying attention. Okay, should be fine though. 2,000 more health. Come on, start shooting minions. And done. We’re now in hard mode. Now that I’m in hard mode, let’s head back to the crimson and break some crimson altars to spawn in the hard mode ores. Let’s see what we’ve got. palladium oralcum and titanium. Before I go and mine the hard mode ores, I’m going to go look for the spider’s nest and collect as many spider fangs as possible for the spider armor sets and also the weapons, of course. Oh, nice. Found the cloud in a bottle, which means I’ll be able to craft myself the blue horseshoe balloon. I just need to grab myself the lucky horseshoe and then the shiny red balloon on top of sky islands. Wait, is that it over there? Yes, it is. Okay, found it. Okay, that is 76 spider fangs, which is everything I need for the armor and weapons. Let’s craft the armor first. Okay, 26 defense, and I can summon five minions total. Now, let’s go check out the weapons. First up, spider staff. Oh my, these summons are going to be insane. Holy crap. Let’s get them reforged to make them even stronger. Godly. All right, I’ll settle with that. 283 damage. Now, I was going to craft the queen spider staff also, but now that I think about it, I would consider this a sentry and not actually a minion. So, I won’t be crafting it. Okay, let’s head up to a sky island. Collect all the accessories I need. And then I’ll start mining the hard mode ores. There’s the shiny red balloon. Oh, and fledgling wings. And there’s the lucky horseshoe. Let’s go make the blue horseshoe balloon. And now let’s go collect those ores. That’s enough palladium onto the oralum. That is enough orical. And lastly, let’s go mine some titanium. And that is enough titanium. All right, I should be good to take on the mechanical bosses now. So, let’s go farm the materials for the summons and then summon them the next night. It is officially the next night. So, the first mechanical boss that I’ll be taking on is going to be the destroyer. I just think that it’s going to be the easiest. So, let’s do it. Let’s put our spiders to work. Here we go. Oh, yep. Oh my What? That single spider just latched onto the clumped up part and just annihilated it. What was that? Yeah, these minions are going to be so hard to beat. I don’t know what is going to top these. God damn. Okay, next boss. I guess let’s do the twins next. This might be a little trickier cuz the boss is flying and it looks like only one spider can latch on. So, I think let’s try to get it closer to the ground. Just like that. Yes. There we go. Come on. Okay, let’s back out. Oh, back up. Back out. Less than 5,000. Okay, let’s fly away. [Music] Kill it. Okay, just reter now. Heal up just in case. And dead. These minions are so strong. I can’t believe it. All right. And lastly, Skeletor Prime. Okay, less than 50% health now. And we are all done. All three mechanical bosses have been defeated. And it didn’t even take half the night. Let’s craft the pickaxe axe. and then head into the jungle to search for the planter bulb. Oh, there’s the planter bulb. Let’s make the arena right around here, then. Okay, the arena is all done. Let’s head back up and break the planter bulb. Here we go. Three, two, and one. Oh my, it’s coming from below. Okay, well, it’s already down like 10,000 health. Okay, second phase. Heal up. Ow. Kill it. Kill it. Kill it. I just jumped into that. And we’re done. A little iffy there, but it’s all good. But now that I have the planter’s treasure bag, I will be looking for one and one thing only. The pygmy staff. Will I be able to get it? Yes, I will. Oh, hello there. Wait, 267 damage. But this thing is annoying. So, it reduces damage by 20%. If I reforge this, I’m pretty sure it’s going to have over 300 damage. I’ll go do that after I take down Golem cuz I’m pretty sure spiders are just way better for this boss fight. Not to mention, the temple is literally right next to the arena. Okay, made it into the boss room. Looks pretty spacious. Let’s get rid of the traps. And honestly, my spiders are strong enough. So, I don’t think I need to build an arena. Let’s just start it up. Oh my god. Yep. Look at that. Eating away at its fists. Okay. Wait, wait. Target the fist. Yes. I should probably go on the other side so it doesn’t shoot out. There we go. And now the head. And finally, the body. Okay, golem has been defeated. Let’s get the pygmy staff reforged. Oh my god. Yep, I was right. Over 300 damage. Oh yes, yes, yes. mythical on this bad boy. 362. Okay, time to say goodbye to my spiders. You have served me very well. But now comes the pygmies. With the defeat of Plantera, the witch doctor is now able to sell tiki armor. So, I’m going to head over to the jungle and build an NPC house to allow the witch doctor to spawn. [Music] Okay, that took a while, but he’s finally here. Okay, got myself the tiki mask, pants, and shirt. I now have 52 defense, and now I should be able to have a total of six minions. Time to take on the lunatic cultist. Here we are. And let’s just get things started. Oh my god, Wyvern, what are you doing here? Doesn’t really matter. Solid 3,000 damage per second. About 30% health left. And we’re done. Oh, and perfect. The Stardust pillar is right here. So, let’s take it down also. And then we can explore the two Stardust summons. Down goes the Stardust pillar. And I’m dead. Okay, I’ve made it back. Let’s collect the fragments. And now I can make the Stardust Cell staff and the Stardust Dragon Staff. Let’s check out the Stardust Dragon staff first because that one is my favorite to use. Oh, not bad. Okay. 224 damage. And then for the stardust cell staff. Oh. Oh, higher than my pygmy staff. You know what? I think I’m just going to make both of them. Get them reforged. Godly is fine. And then mythical. All right. 486. That is almost 500 damage. Let’s use the Stardust Dragon staff first. Oh my god, 1,000 damage. Do you guys see that? Wait, this dragon is insane. Okay. Okay, let’s test out the cell staff now. Not sure which one’s going to be better. I feel like the Stardust Cell Staff is better when it comes to attacking multiple enemies, but for bossing, I think the Stardust Dragon staff wins. Down goes the Vortex pillar. Two more to go. Let’s actually test them both out using this dummy. Okay, 5,000 to 6,000 damage per second. Now for the Stardust Dragon Staff. Oh. Oh my god. It’s just going higher and higher. And I think it maxed out already. Okay. 8.4k. To be honest, I don’t even know anymore. Maybe the starter dragon staff is just better overall. All right, let’s go destroy the two remaining pillars. Okay, Nebula pillar has been destroyed. One more left. Actually, before I destroy the last pillar, I’m going to go get myself a better pair of wings, cuz a better pair will just help me dodge the lasers a lot better. There we go. Got enough souls of flight. Now I can make demon wings. And there goes the last pillar. Time for moonlord. I think for the final boss fight, I’ll just be sticking with the stardust cell staff. If they turn out not to be so good, then I’ll switch over. But we’ll see. Here we go. Oo, looks like they’re attacking all the parts evenly. Well, not anymore, but it did. Okay, let’s get ready to teleport. Beautiful. Oh god, a sandstorm’s here. Teleport again. Oh, the hands down already. Are both hands down though? I think so. Uh, let’s teleport. Okay, I think we’re going to switch over to the Stardust Dragon Staff. Teleport. Heal. Come on. 10,000. Yes. Oh my god, that was way too close. One more hit and I would have been dead.
