Alright so… basically our main goal is Yharim… but what about the gods?, those are the same as corrupted as Yharim or even worse… they made the defenders of Terraria go almost extinct.
There are a lot of things shortened here. For example, Yharim found Calamitas before DoG came. And it's not confirmed Xeroc "stole" Zelatros' soul. It's said he came out having absorbed his soul, but nobody knows what transpired. It could be Zelatros gave his soul to Xeroc on purpose. Or that Xeroc absorbed the soil by accident.
Realistically id say Yharim had good intentions, he even ditched dredon when he found out the wrong doings he did, but he did begind doing bad things later on.
This is probably the first time any content creator has described Calamity's lore semi-accurately. So many people overlook Yharon's hand in leading Yharim's initial conquests, so props to you for that! ^^
I hope that with the new updates, the lore can be better communicated to the players, but until then, this is a good place to check where the new lore is going.
I dislike the new lore mainly because everyone is so goddamn weak and the story is very underdeveloped and there are alot of plot holes, why would you make the lore weaker if its post moonlord content, plus your giving the player stuff like the universe splitter, it doesnt make sense if everyone capped at continental.
“The world began in an age of dragons, and terraria’s soul fractures” Interesting, sounds a little similar to something else… perhaps a game about souls… about DARK SOULS …
