The reason the deer is probably scared of the owl is because its still a kid and even though its huge now a kid would still be afraid of it like literally look at the owl a kid would be scared of it definitely even if it's huge
So the owl in game is based of something called mothman so there has been mysterious sightings of a human like creature with brown wings red eyes a couple of grave have believed to see it same with a woman and man who saw the creature chasing them while in their car they reached speeds over 100 miles an hour same with a power plant. So now u know
Dude the owl is so freaking scary. It kinda reminds me of this creature (i'm guessing it's based on it) called the Owlman, which is basically if an owl and the Mothman combined. And the fact that the Deer is scared of it too just makes it even more terrifying. The fact that this owl exists makes you wonder what else lives in these woods, and if there is any other creatures coming to the game, i think the next one will be like a coyote or dog-type thing (to represent the Chupacabra)
