I’m making a few large sci-fi builds, and I’m running into an issue with large, blank areas looking empty and also needing to be lit. Any ideas on how to a) light it up, and b) make it look less thoughtless? (Please excuse the low render distance, it’s on a server and I don’t have control over it)

For the underground one, I tried lighting it with random branching lines of sea lanterns, meant to invoke a certain circuit board look, but it doesn't really look great on the curves. On the floating one, the top half is a biodome, and I'd like the bottom to seem at least partially like maintenance. In addition, tips and ideas on what to do with the biodome would be appreciated- currently it's just a flat grass plane.
